Kakashi calling it brave to build a village far away from the rest of the world to avoid war. Does part of him wish Konoha has done that? Does he wonder if maybe he’d never would have had to lose all the people he did if the higher ups in Konoha decided to put their people’s safety first?

Telling Nanara all about shinobi was so cute and showing how a Hokage who wants the best for their people thinks. I love seeing him discuss trading and working together with other villages for mutual benefit. You can see just how he was thinking when he was running Konoha and the ideals he fell back on to do better for his village.

‘During the time of the sixth hokage, the land of fire saw unprecedented economic development and grew rapidly’ this line needs to be stamped everywhere for fandom. I love that Kakashi got to be the peace time Hokage because he was the absolute best option for that. No one else could have grown Konoha in the same way Kakashi did.

I love that we get to see Kakashi in teacher mode. Like the manga skipped over him actually teaching his students a lot and only gave us small glimpses, but seeing how he made learning fun for Nanara is so cute and wholesome and displays just how good of a teacher he really is.

Plant update!

My basil has been growing really well and after cutting two larger ends I tried propagating them just for fun. And holy shit they rooted so damn much.

I decided to plant them today and in parallel also made some fresh soil. Now the two babies are sitting happily with the others <3

Also noticed out of nowhere that my Aglaonema is going to bloom ??? I think???

I'm really looking forward to it, I've got no idea how it's gonna bloom! And upon closer inspection I also notices two new branches forming at the bottom (in front and back of the bottom)

Oh yeah. And Richard is still a fucking asshole:

You know what I love about this little corner of the internet that I’ve curated with only the most beautiful bastards around? (that affectionate, trust me, you’re all the bestest)

It’s that for the last two days all on my dash I’ve seen people losing their minds over two couples finally getting an on screen sex scene - MhokDay & PhayaTharn - but all everyone goes on about is how breathtakingly beautiful the scenes were. The cinematography, the acting, the lighting, the emotional connection and chemistry between the actors and characters, etc. Like, sure it’s a NC scene, but here we all are sobbing our eyes out about how gorgeous they are.

I mean sure we can be little perverts when we wanna be - as a certified smut peddler and honorary dirty old man, I would know - but that doesn’t mean we aren’t down for the romantic shit that breaks our hearts and heals them in the same breath.

seriously… who let tms2 do this? who let them do a s2 break up and actually do it amazingly? bc i was so ready to be mad if this break up was unnecessary drama, but then I thought back to s1 and my feelings when it ended. bc I adore jiwoo and seojun and I adore them together, I think they make so much sense, but that still didn’t stop this niggling feeling telling me it’s not gonna be that easy, that there are some real issues that could be difficult for them to get past, mainly seojuns status as a celebrity meaning it’s difficult for them to be together, both in public and bc of time, he’s gonna be so busy and tired that it’s gonna be hard for them to find time together, and jiwoo being so… well, jiwoo. being closed off and reserved and not sharing how he feels, how difficult that is for him and how difficult that will be for seojun who so wants to be let inside. those are things that weren’t gonna be solved overnight, and so they weren’t. they made a whole s2 about those exact issues, how these aspects of them as people clash and make a relationship hard, no matter how much they may love each other. and I just adore that. bc so many shows that end with the couple getting together, they leave us with this expectation that everything ended happily, they lived happily ever after. they don’t address what happens after you get together, when you have to be two people living together, sharing a life, going through everything life throws at you together. that’s what being together really is and it can be hard and I’m so fucking happy that tms2 is showing that, that happily ever afters take time and work, and they can hurt before they get better, that they aren’t guaranteed but have to be worked for, by both people, and they don’t happen unless those two people really, truly want it.
