Alhaitham who is a student at the akademiya, has exams coming up, and cannot remember where he left his keys or when he last ate so he has to make note of it somewhere every now and again. Him trying to keep a schedule over time so he doesn’t forget to take care of himself while he’s thinking of correlations and causations and the next paper he has to write. Just Alhaitham living alone without his grandma for the first time and realizing that no one else will look out for him (not necessarily in a self pitying way), so he has to build a routine schedule for himself to live a good life.

Ohhhhhh my goddddddddd so I’ve basically been to the doctor three times since turning 18 and aging out of the pediatrician because of my horrible doctor fears and issues. So it’s a MOMENTOUS occasion and the culmination of years of glacial self-work that I felt ready FINALLY READY to sit down and make a doctors appointment for a routine visit!! Like that is give or take a decade in the making…….and all the ethereal alchemical elements were correct so I could finally do it this morning. man i love yakuya, i really do, i think their dynamic can be really sexy and fun, but i also think it would incredibly easy for kuya to push yakumo too much in a bad way because of yakumo’s eagerness to be good. there needs to be a lot of communication of boundaries and i feel like that wouldn’t happen at first, not until kuya pushes too far and yakumo, despite his non confrontational personality and dislike for seeming selfish, feels he has no choice but but to say something.

Kinda off-track from your ask but think Sho's concept of beauty is a really interesting thing to explore actually! For one thing, as co-ordinated as his outfits are and as aesthetically cohesive as he looks, I tend to think he prizes function over fulfilling any one rigid "look." Think of NEO in particular. Guy ain't dressing his best. Where'd he even find sweatpants that cut off at his calves? Between that and the big ol' coat over his hat, he objectively looks a bit silly...but it works, doesn't it? The pants seem like they'd be good for the constant movement that fighting Noise requires, and the hood + hat combo masks his face and helps prevent any Reapers from recognizing him (sure Kariya and Uzuki let him walk off scot-free once they found out he was still kicking, but for whatever reason it was ON-SIGHT with Susukichi and that's a lot to deal with unprovoked).

I think it's especially interesting how he considered himself to be at his most "beautiful" once he'd gone taboo. It wasn't about his actual appearance. It was about breaking from the confines of his old body, which lacked the strength to take on the Composer and could never see him through to his ultimate dream of usurping Joshua's position and shaping Shibuya to his own desires. The power he possessed and the violence it allowed him to exert was really an artform in itself. Beauty for him, I think, is in the freedom to shape oneself to their most extravagant desires, which implies a lot about what he might've been like as Composer. Of course, the tragic downside to the actual, physical state of his body tying very little into his sense of worth is how willing he is to tear it apart over and over again to achieve his goals. Very shrewdly mathematical of him.
