If the arms look weird it’s because I was having trouble drawing them so I literally took an arm from one of my drawings that I liked and traced over it

(Yes it’s ironically from my og courier design)

Edit: I’ve decided to name them Luka and yes this courier is kind of a self insert kind of not but I quite literally couldn’t think of a name that fits them. I mainly think I can’t see him with a different name because the name Luka translates to light in Greek and it ties in with his character really well.

This is very much a put all my trauma into this character and get very attached to said character moment.

i had a sad thought so i’d like to share it

no matter what happened, plane crash or not, i don’t see jackie and shauna ever making up. the fight was a big blow up that was the causes by the situation they were in, but if it wasn’t a fight it was going to be them drifting apart. even if jackie never read the diary shauna would still be pregnant. she may have had more choices but i think it would be pretty hard to miss an abortion (as it causes mood swings, physical issues and other things) or a whole ass baby. not to mention jackie is arguably more in tuned to shauna’s emotional state than she is to her own. so there would be a rift between them there. i also believe that eventually jackie would find out about brown and that would cause another issue. so that 25 years down the line the two of them probably wouldn’t talk at all.

but the worst thing about it all is that they would both still be haunted by the version of each other they thought existed. shauna by a mean jackie who reminds her of all the terrible things she did and jackie by a loving shauna who convinces her that it was jackie’s fault the relationship ended because how could someone as sweet as that shauna be at fault

I can’t articulate it, but it gets to me that, outside of Spock and I think Tuvok, being logical and regulating emotions isn’t something that Vulcans are shown to just endure, the same way they endure lower temperatures for other species, or higher oxygen for other species, or anything else that has to be incredibly uncomfortable at best to painful at worst that they just endure

The vibe I get from it is that a majority of Vulcans enjoy it, they like being logical, maybe they didn’t get a choice in being logical as kids, but unlike the select few like Sybok, they don’t seem to be resentful that they were raised like that at all

This isn’t just something they’re all forced to do now to prevent their emotions from causing their species’ end, dedicating themselves to logic brought them inner peace
