everyone keeps saying he’s blushing because he thinks mo is trying to feed him, which yes i also think that’s part of it, but i think the real reason he’s blushing is because mo is leaning into him when he’s scared.

like their entire relationship guan shan has been pushing he tian away and shoving him off and telling him to fuck off, but in this panel he’s feeling scared and threatened and instead of leaning away from both of them, he leans into he tian because he feels safe and protected in his space. and it’s unconsciously done too which further proves how comfortable he is with he tian. like he’s not even thinking about it, he’s just leaning into him like?? that is a complete 180 from where they started. and i think he tian notices and recognizes this, but decides not to make a big deal or mention it, and instead makes a joke about him feeding him, keeping that trust that guan shan is showing him and tucking it somewhere safe and warm.

ok I’m so glad that the trigun fandom has kind of unanimously agreed that Vash is probably some kind of trans given that all the other plants are female presenting because I agree 100% but I also LOVE the implication that Knives is also trans and what that would mean narratively

So here’s my personal headcanon about Vash and Knives and their gender:

I like to think that Vash sees masculinity as gentle and kind. Maybe Rem tells him about the man she loved, how he was selfless and loving and did his best never to hurt anyone. Maybe Vash realizes that he could be exactly that kind of man, and decides then and there what he wants to be. Choosing a gender is so very human. Vash is happy to be like them.

Gentle masculinity.

Knives… is a different story. Maybe he watches the men on the ship mistreat people and get away with it. Maybe he notices how only the male crew members hold real positions of power, and the ability to make decisions. Maybe Knives, feeling pathetic and weak as a plant in a ship full of humans, finally sees a way to seize the power that he believes is his birthright. Bending to human ideas of gender is beneath him… but he’ll do it if it makes his job as a god easier.

When I say station theater is the best production ever I MEAN IT!!! Went to the understudy show tonight and it was literally amazing (as station theater always is)!!! Mary Jane (Jane) and @ciarakraken (Ricky) we’re both there to watch it and it was literally an honor to be able to talk to them and sit with them❤️ Mary Jane also gave us flowers and the way I sobbed (but like without tears). Noel and Mischa were also there performing and AOQJWIEHEB I literally can’t, they’re all the sweetest ever and I love them all so much❤️❤️❤️❤️ if you’re near station theater (or even hours away) please please please go see it! I promise you won’t regret it!!!
