The prison is armed with state of the art security measures, including lava, barriers, and numerous manual searches, to name just a few [x]. Speaking as an authority on the prison myself [x], I can safely confirm that these security measures, as well as the prisoner, are in perfect condition. Don't be so quick to buy into conspiracy theories.

"Mingyu this better be good." Y/n mumbled, not bothering to say hi.

She was home for the weekend for her older brother's birthday. She thought that being away from her school assigned living quarters would grant her a break from her father's golden player – but boy was she wrong.

Mingyu was clearly making good use of her phone number, sending her random memes and tiktoks he found. He didn't care if she would simply react to his messages with a thumbs up or haha reaction Apple provided it's users for their messaging app – he continued to send them anyways.

She thought that would be the end of it.

But what more did she expect from him.

Y/n was lounging in her childhood home's living room, catching up on her favorite sitcom, when the phone on her lap began to ring – he was facetiming her.

It's not like she had anything better to do.

Swiping to accept the call, Mingyu's face instantly filled the screen.

"I got bored today and did something." He giggled, fiddling with the hat on his head.

"Your homework?"

Shaking his head no, he took off the fitted cap – showcasing the mess that hid under it.

Throwing her head back, letting out a loud laugh. "What the fuck?"

"I cut my hair."

"You look like a troll doll." She fell over onto the couch, all while the boy on the other side of the screen tried his best to keep a straight face.

"My sister said I look like a sucked out mango seed."

"Help." Y/n laughed even harder, hitting the cushion – moisture beginning to pool in her eyes. "Let me screenshot this."

Mingyu sighed, keeping still.

It was all an act. He enjoyed every minute of this – making her smile.

He knew how ridiculous he looked. In fact, he had seen what he looked like before ringing her, and he knew that the second she caught glimpse of how stupid he looked, she would be sent into a fit of laughter.

It was music to his ears.

His favorite sound.

"New?" He gasped, putting the hat back on. "What was the old one?"

Your boyfriend hands the phone back to you, completely baffled at the text message you had shown him.

It was the text from your best friend approving your Halloween outfit choice with a lengthy message of barks and howls that had you cackling from the opposite side of the couch, startling Choso from his Animal Crossing gameplay. He had been eager to be in on the joke, clicking off his switch and shuffling to your side of the couch to get a peak at your screen.

"Is that good?" he asks, head titled to the side in befuddlement. "I thought being called a dog was a bad thing?"

Your nose crinkles in adoration at his confusion.

"Being called a dog is a bad thing," you confirm his earlier statement and wait for his nod of acknowledgement before continuing. "but what Shoko meant in that message is..umm.." you ponder the best and most straightforward way to explain the slang.

You don't mind walking your love through the things he doesn't understand. In fact, you find it rather adorable when he sends you memes or videos he doesn't get with a small text of help. You always write back with a thorough description of the joke and added resources so he could better understand it, but this one has you stumped. For a while, even you were uncertain of the intention behind the barking, but after seeing Saturo use it to flirt with Suguru, you knew it wasn't anything malicious.

"Okay, so, if I were to send you a picture of me and you think, 'Oh my god, she is so hot I need to tell her that she looks so good', instead of saying all that, you could write bark bark or something like that. Make sense?"

Choso looks just as perplexed as before.

"So you want me to bark?"

Your laughter explodes from you. "No, Cho, It's just meant to be something funny. You don't have to do that; I was just using me as an example."

"But it's a good thing, right?"

There was no good explanation for how Steve Harrington standing outside Eddie Munson's trailer at 3 in the morning.

One second he was standing in Tina's bathroom being told that his entire year-long relationship was bullshit, and the next he was standing in the middle of the town's trailer park with absolutely no memory of the walk over there. Normally Munson would have been at the party, but after a few cursory glimpses around the house he found the dealer was oddly missing.

It was cold. Steve's arms were littered with goosebumps under his jacket and his legs hadn't stopped shivering, proving how long he'd been standing there. Just knock.

The door swung open before he could, nearly rapping Steve's knuckles as he lifted them to knock. Eddie Munson stood there—hair disheveled and brown eyes looking tired, though slowly awakening as he realized who was standing there.

"Were you gonna stand on my front step all night, Harrington?" Eddie asked, already beginning to feign coolness by leaning against the door frame and crossing his arms. "Tryin' to see how the other half live?"

"I..." Steve started, opening and closing his mouth in an attempt to find the right words. "I need to buy."

"I'm not selling tonight, big boy."

"I need it," Steve punctuated. Idly, he wondered what his dad would think of him begging on Munson's doorstep like this. It's a good thing his parents are in Chicago again. "I just, please."

Eddie must have seen something in his face, because suddenly he was swiping a hand over his own face and moving back from the doorway. "What d'you want then, Harrington?"

Steve had no idea. He didn't do this shit. Sometimes he'd smoke with Tommy, but he never bought it. This was so far out of his element he couldn't help but stand awkwardly in the Munson trailer, arms wrapping around his middle like that might spare him from thinking about what he was doing. This was the only thing he could think of, though, that might ease the sharp sting in his chest. It felt like something had been ripped out of him, all the wire-like nerves frayed and shocking inside of the empty chest cavity.

"Whatever's strongest," Steve said.

Eddie raised one eyebrow, considering him for a moment before sighing and asking, "What's happening here?"

"Nothing. I want...drugs. Yeah, drugs."

"Drugs, yeah, okay, Harrington," Eddie breathed in shock, shaking his head. "What sent straight-laced, golden boy Steve Harrington to drugs?"

"None of your business, Munson," Steve instinctively snapped. They may be in the same graduating class now, but that didn't mean they got along. Steve can't remember the last time they ever spoke kindly to one another, if they even had. It was the simple fact that Steve was a jock and Eddie was decidedly not that had split them apart before they'd ever had a chance to see if they fit.

Steve had to wonder if that even held up anymore, considering how little he seemed to actually know about the world. He was so different from who he'd been even just a year ago, maybe Munson wasn't all so bad.

So he sighed, ran his fingers through his hair like it might reset the situation, then said, "Nancy broke up with me."

Eddie just looked at him, a little smile he was fighting back against on his face. "You're....Let me get this straight. Steve Harrington is turning to hard drugs to get over a little breakup?"

"It wasn't little," Steve snapped immediately, crossing his arms over his chest and looking off to the side so he didn't have to face Eddie. "Is that a yes or no, man?"

"...Sure. Sure, man." Eddie left to grab some box, walked him through the whole process. "You mind staying here while you use? I don't wanna get blamed when you do something stupid."

That was how he ended up sitting on Eddie Munson's couch, Eddie offering him some pill while he took his own. The effects set in fairly quickly, numbing his senses and, most importantly, dulling the sharp stabbing ache in his chest. It wasn't the best feeling in the world—it left Steve with the lingering feeling that he wouldn't be able to defend himself if another demogorgon decided to make its brutal appearance—but it was preferrable to the raw ache of the breakup.

"...she told me it was all bullshit. I should've seen it coming, she's been in loved with Byers all year."

"Jonathan Byers? That's harsh, man," Eddie hissed, "What're you gonna do?"

It was easier talking like this. The music Eddie was playing hurt Steve's throbbing head a little, but he could appreciate the beat of it. He mostly liked hearing Eddie's voice and the way it reverberated around his head. The guy could a little harsh with his jokes, but they'd talked more than Steve had talked to too many others all year.

"No idea," Steve confessed, turning his head on the couch to face Eddie. "I'll be the laughingstock of the school tomorrow, when she shows up with Byers and I show up alone. There'll be no saving it."

"I mean..." Eddie trailed off, raising his eyebrows pointedly like Steve was supposed to catch on. "If your only problem is that you can't be the single one tomorrow, we could fix that."

"Yeah? How'd you propose we do that, Munson?"

"I'll be your boyfriend for as long as you need me, no problem," Eddie offered, "if you keep the basketball team off my ass for the rest of the year."

It was crazy. Steve knew it was a bad idea, and yet all he could think to do was nod his head. It would solve his problem, and honestly he still had enough pull with the team as captain to make it work. And hey, if Eddie wasn't so bad tonight then he couldn't be the worst fake boyfriend, right? And it would at least keep the rumor mill off his back, and would save him the dignity of walking into the school with clear evidence that he hadn't been enough for Nancy.

"You know what, deal. Be my boyfriend, Eddie Munson."

Can't It Wait? | Jey Uso x Rhea Ripley

just a long lil peek into my next fic!! before going into it, pls know things aren't exactly what they appear to be. but i will not elaborate on how !! <3

It started as simple ribbing, Jey had just wanted to get under Dominik's skin. He wanted to send a message that the offer to join The Judgement Day had never been more than a joke to him. The memes, the fanart. It was all meant to play into Jey not joining their merry band of emo wrestlers. He had no real feelings towards Rhea, he had no intentions of pursuing her, or taking her away from Dominik. It started as a joke, and it was meant to remain one.

That was weeks and weeks ago, Jey still wouldn't join The Judgement Day, he wanted nothing to do with the four of them. Especially Dom and Rhea.

Yet…Jey had let Rhea into his hotel room when she came knocking.

Just as he had two nights before, and almost a dozen more before that.

He knows he shouldn't have, he knows that the first time it happened could've been a mistake if it hadn't continued to happen.

Rhea doesn't give him the chance to deny her, not that he would. She's on him the moment the door clicks shut, and all thoughts of Dom are gone.

Her lips are soft, and she tastes like a tropical drink, that Jey knows the source of is the gum she chews. The flavor she started chewing when she found out it was his favorite. 

He briefly wonders if Dominik has noticed she switched from minty gum, to fruity. 

Rhea senses his distraction, and she isn't at all shy to deepen the kiss, or guide tattooed arms around her waist to ultimately be drawn in closer by.

Jey follows her lead, as he often does when they're in this situation, or ones similar. He loses himself in the kiss, hands trailing from Rhea's waist. Lower, and lower. 

She hums her approval, though the sound is muffled by the sudden shrill of a phone. Her displeasure at being interrupted is obvious in the way she sucks her teeth and fishes for her phone with only one hand.

Once she has the device, the face of Dominik Mysterio flashes on the screen. Rhea tenses, but the hand in Jey's hair, the hand he has no recollection of how it got there, scratches gently at his scalp.

Clearing her throat, Rhea answers, her tone gives nothing away, even if she sounds slightly breathless, 

"I'm a little busy, Dom-Dom. Is everything okay?"

Jey can't hear Dominik's reply, but Rhea frowns at whatever he says, nodding despite not being seen by the younger. 

"I'll be back downstairs in a bit, can't it wait?" 

Their eyes lock, and Rhea smiles at him.

It's a warm smile. Inviting. Unlike the smirks she wears on TV, this is a thing reserved for only a few. Jey knows as much, because he's seen her smile at Dominik, Damian and Finn similarly.

"We can come down now then, Dom. I wanted to actually ask him before dragging him with me, but if you're so eager…"

Jey's ears start ringing with the uncertainty that courses through him at her words. 

His confusion must show on his face, because Rhea is cupping his cheek and nodding lightly. 

What she's nodding at, he doesn't know. All he knows is he feels slightly sick, and like the earth was just upended in front of him.

Before long, Rhea is hanging up the phone and drawing his attention back to her.

"I'll be straightforward, because you look like you're about to throw up, baby."

"Don' call me that right now…" He curses himself for how weak his voice comes out.

Logically, Jey knew this thing with Rhea was merely sex, even if she looked at him like she could truly love him. Like she could want him in a way that was more than blowing off steam.

Sometimes they'd embrace after everything was done, and she'd tell him about her day, mindlessly tracing his tattoos and leaving kisses along his bare skin.

Those intimate moments usually went unbroken for hours before Rhea would have to sneak away once more.

It never dawned on him just how much his time with her meant to him, or how much he'd grown to rely on her presence. He hadn't realized he'd caught feelings for her.

Not that any of it would ever matter.

"Hey, come back to me, Sweet Face. I can explain, just let me, yeah?"

Her accent is thicker than usual, her bare face giving away the emotions she tries so hard to mask in the public. 

Jey nods his head, his bottom lip tucked between his teeth as he does.

First off I can't thank you enough about how you made Reader ACTUALLY stand up for herself and not go right back to Gojo like girl that was mean... do it again 💋 it's SO refreshing to see reader defending herself and not be a damsel in distress 24/7 she was basically saying “zip up the yap trap and get a move on” what a queen

Alright I was going to do this on anon but honestly why not own it, ya know? So I first came to your blog with its a match and then slowly spiraled.

First off, I can not believe how fast you've been updating its a match. I don't know what your writing process is but holy fuck you have been feeding us so well. The different dynamics between all the guys and reader is so beautifully crafted. And the way you writer the dynamics between all of the 141 is so good too! I personally feel like they've all been together for such a long time and have such a good relationship outside of the normal chain of command and team bonding. Beautiful! I love when authors write Simon as wanting to feel normal away from work, and you do it so well. Like yes he's gruff and has dry humor but damn does he wear it well. AND THE BANTER!? It's so realistic, like some books/fics the way character talk just sounds so fake, but the way you have them all interacting, talking and texting, is exactly like how I'd imagine them to interact. (SPECIFICALLY THE "HONK SHOO HONK MIMIMIM" PART. I HAD TO TEXT MY HUSBAND ABOUT IT I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD!!) Like typing errors when you text and emojis when you least expect them is just so realistic and I'm obsessed.

Secondly, I came for its a match, but have been scrolling through for all the pegging content. Like I'm not into pegging in practice for myself, but hot damn is it hot to imagine all these super macho guys turned into blubbering, blissed-out messes *chef's kiss* honestly! Like it took me an extra long time to eat dinner because I was so caught up in the pegging tag. Then closed out and came right back to it for any and all updates, wild. Now the thought of pegging is stuck in my brain for as long as the worms feed off it. So thanks for your anons blessing us with the gospel then fucking dipping, honestly meme worthy. And your reactions are so funny, I laugh out loud for EVERY SINGLE ONE! I went through last night reading and liking almost every post under the pegging tag, I couldn't help myself.
