As someone who's been a huge fan of SiIvaGunner for the past 7 years, I have a pretty good feel for what kinds of uploads they would allow. I've wanted to see my own rips on the channel for years, but never submitted any, and now I have an "enormous" back catalogue of several dozen mashups I'd like to submit. So many that I could never fit descriptions for all of them in one email. Are there any SiIvaGunner members who'd be willing to talk to me on Discord about them in bulk? Thank you.

i feel bad for saying this because this sounds like you have a lot you'd love to share, but i wouldn't recommend trying to submit rips in bulk, messages or otherwise.

allowing people to send rips via discord DMs WAS a thing near the start of the channel's life, but around 2017, it was dropped, as it became a hassle to only have 1 person that could relay feedback to the original ripper.

it might be a bit of a pain to do so, but the 1-rip-per-email system really helps us sort through the fansubmissions we get, and effectively mark/categorize what's been considered, what's been rejected outright, what's been accepted or sent back with recommended fixes, etc. there's nothing wrong with sending a bunch of e-mails in a row, of course! it's just only having 1 rip in an email helps a lot with gmail's limited tagging abilities. if all 37 or however of your rips were just Chip the Ripper mashups and you sent them all in a blinding fury in 37 separate emails, all with the correct metadata, they'd all get reviewed, and we'd get back to you on as many as we can.

if you arent for-sure on any specific rips, our official fanserver discord (linked under the channel description, or On This Text if i do the formatting right) does have a channel dedicated for feedback on submissions. there are also fanchannels like TimmyTurnersGrandDad that are of the same quality as siiva that you can submit your rip to for feedback, and due to the lower amount of submissions, might get back to you a bit faster.

however if you submit to fanchannels, remember that theyll actually go up on there.. some people forget and submit to multiple channels at once. Which makes me very sad. a little sad man crying

She knows going to school at Ouran will be one big chess game, especially coming in late at her second year- but she’s up for any challenge.

If she could introduce an entirely new branch to their business that was already proven to succeed, surely that would be enough to convince him? That's what he wanted, wasn’t it? And it just so happened Kyouya Ootori was as hungry for success as she was. He was the perfect business partner. Focused and smart, sure, but most of all he was passionate about what he did. Even if it didn’t outwardly appear that way, he worked hard because what he was doing mattered to him. That's why she had to make the deal with him, of course. She needed leverage to make him care about her project too. An equal exchange. Besides, no matter the size of the Kaneko Jewels company, the Ootori group was decidedly bigger– surely even creating a business connection with an Ootori was nothing for her father to sneeze at. Her path was clear.

Yet, for a moment she thought of her younger brother, Hiro, and Kyouya. Would Hiro fight this hard for her position as he got older? As he realized what was promised to her and not him? But this was rightfully hers, wasn’t it? But she wasn’t sure she thought the Ootori group was rightfully Kyouya’s oldest brother’s either. But then again, wasn’t she inherently biased by only knowing Kyouya? But wait– why did she care? What did it matter to her who the rightful head of the Ootori group was? That wasn’t her business. And yet…

That’s right, the business connection she was making with Kyouya. If she were to support him and he were to support her and he ended up rising in the ranks, then her father wouldn’t be able to doubt her ability to lead Kaneko Jewels at all– even if she was a woman. Yes, partnering with Kyouya in this was a great move in this giant game of chess. She had been thinking ahead this whole time.

When the thought floated into her mind that she was just reassuring herself, Asuka snapped shut the manilla folder with the script in it that sat in front of her– dissipating any of her mind’s stray thoughts. She slid the folder in her bag and stood, walking out of the library.

She stared out at the ground below as she moved past the large windows in the hall, noticing that she had happened across a filming location. However, she stopped in her tracks.

Haruhi broke Renge’s fall, Asuka could imagine the thud, the two men they were facing seemed pissed. Asuka leaned up against the windowsill, she wished she could hear from up here. Tamaki came rushing around a corner, Asuka gasped as he pushed one of the men up against the wall.

After a mere moment he had dropped the guy, Haruhi and Renge had stood– Tamaki seemed to comfort Haruhi, Asuka squinted as their faces seemed to morph to shock at Renge’s sudden excitement.

The next commotion she could certainly hear from her spot on the second floor. She noticed Kyouya walk over, almost positive he would just reassure whatever Renge was saying. This misplaced thought led her to be even more shocked at the crack that resounded when Kyouya lifted a rock and shattered the camera. He seemed to share some harsh words with Renge as the girl fell to her knees, crying.

Asuka grinned before breaking out into a laugh. Kyouya Ootori reduced to smashing in a camera lens to get a girl to listen to him– who would’ve thought?

She had been somewhat surprised that the school’s doors were still open on a weekend. Then it occurred to her that Kyouya’s best friend was the son of the school’s head, and it stopped seeming that surprising.

She tugged at her dress pant’s belt loops slightly, working them back up to a more comfortable height after sitting for so long. Her heeled booties clacked ceremoniously on Ouran’s expensive tile floor. Asuka glanced at her watch, as long as she kept this pace she would be on schedule. She ran her free hand through her hair and kept going.

Admittedly, she felt much more powerful walking down Ouran’s expensive hallways in her own clothing as opposed to the pale yellow dress she was made to wear for uniform. She wondered if the rest of the female student population hated it as much as she did.

Finally, she had made it to Music Room 3 and pushed open the heavy doors.

The windows were open, allowing for a gentle breeze to push through the room. Once the door had thumped shut behind her Asuka could hear the gentle chirping of the birds outside. In the distance, some children yelling and a gardner working on the lawn. The room was devoid of life aside from Kyouya, who sat languidly on the very same expensive couch they’d sat on when Renge had chewed out the whole club. He sat and drank tea quietly, reading from a book. When she made her way over she spotted the phone on the small coffee table that would sit between them and then sat quietly on the couch across from him- sliding her messenger bag off her shoulder and onto the cushion. She pulled out the manilla folder and opened it before laying it down on the coffee table next to the phone, script facing the ceiling.

Kyouya finally put down the tea and closed the book, she couldn’t help but stare at his hands as she remembered what she had witnessed on Friday. It seemed he hadn’t done any damage, at least that she could see. His skin remained smooth and untouched. Suddenly, he snapped a finger and she jumped.

“I don’t recall the script being on the back of my hands.” He spoke with a smirk.

“No.” She huffed awkwardly, “I was curious if you injured yourself after smashing that camera yesterday.”

“Word about that got around already?”

“No. I happened to see you do it from the second floor.”

He stared at her for a moment before letting out a scoff of a laugh and glancing out the window.

“That was some move you pulled.” She continued after a moment.

“Yes, well. Miss Houshakuji isn’t exactly one to listen to reason.” He crossed his legs and looked back to Asuka, “I managed to dissuade her but safe to say she is no longer interested in me. Fujioka seems to have caught her eye instead.”

“She’s still going here?” Asuka asked in surprise.

“Yes. I think we’ll run into her a bit more. Safe to say you can scrap those engagement rings, though.”

Asuka laughed, “God, if I ever saw you walking around with one of those monstrosities she designed I think I’d die. They were awful.”

“I’m sure you could design much better ones on your own.”

The conversation lulled as she thought of it for a moment. She most certainly could. He seemed like he would enjoy a simple ring– a part of her imagined amethyst. That sort of light purple seemed to go well with his eyes and complexion, even the periwinkle uniform the guys usually wore seemed to stand out on him.

She snapped out of it at soon as the thoughts had come– now that was the sort of girlish whimsy thing Mayu would love. It was also the exact kind of thing she would never say out loud to her best friend lest she take it and run with it. That was the last thing she needed.

“So, the phone call?” Asuka finally responded.

“Yes, the phone call…” Kyouya uncrossed his legs and leaned forward pulling the phone towards him, “I’ll dial the number and put the phone on speaker. If anything falls outside of the possible scripted responses I’ll relay the best answer to you– you can read lips, right?”

“Yeah.” Well, she was pretty sure she could. She’d never really had to do it before. Now was as good a time to find out as any.

“Let’s get started, then.”

She was again struck with the thought that Mayu was banned from knowing about any of this. In front of her, Kyouya scratched notes carefully onto paper. Occasionally he would pause, raise the pen slightly, think, and then in an instant it would be back on the paper; scratching its black ink into permanence. She poked carefully at the small, but fancy, piece of cake that’d been placed in front of her. It was good, she couldn’t deny that, but her brunch partner left things a little awkward.

Once the incredibly stressful phone call had ended, Kyouya had offered a small hum of approval, shutting his notebook and finally looking back at her. The call had gone exactly as expected, she hadn’t needed to test her lip reading skills at all. What did surprise her, however, was the sound of him telling her to stop as she pulled out her phone to call for a driver to leave.

He told her that he would take her to brunch so they could iron out some more details, and then he would take her home. Somewhat dumbfounded, she said okay. Now here they were, Kyouya and Asuka sitting across from each other at a quaint brunch spot on a random weekend, silent.

She’d expected this to be an out of the way, private spot for private (business) conversations. Such was not the case. In fact, Asuka thought she felt a part of her soul die every time someone from Ouran Private Academy walked through the doors. Another part died when whoever it was stopped and stared for a moment before moving on. As another entered, she put up a hand to cover the side of her face, grimacing. Kyouya finally shut his notebook again and looked up, reaching for his cup.

“You shouldn’t hide your face.” He seemed to sing.

“And why exactly would I not?” She shot back.

“What you said about reputation got me thinking.” He paused to take a sip of his tea and put the cup back down, “Associating yourself with me would be the best way to raise your own status at Ouran. But on top of that, it gets people talking about us. They want to know what they’re doing. Surely your friend Mayu has already been pressing.”

As he spoke Asuka dropped her hand and sat back up straight, “You got that right. And she looks like a kicked puppy every time I don’t tell her anything.”

“And that's what we want.”

“Sorry?” She asked incredulously.

“Think about it this way,” He grinned, “The whole school only knows you as Mayu’s friend. Suddenly you’re also hanging out with me. Of course Mayu’s friends are asking her why we’re seen together so often, but it's shocking to find out that even Mayu doesn’t know anything. It gets them hooked. Now they want to know what both of us are doing, what our relationship is, how did you manage to work your way into the Host Club social circle. In a way, it's a slight recreation of Haruhi Fujioka’s climb to fame. Perhaps less direct.”

The truth was that Asuka couldn’t argue with any of that. It was true, Mayu was desperate to know more about her relationship with Kyouya and she kept denying it. But there was a pang in her heart when she thought about how Mayu might want that information to spread like gossip. Asuka liked to think she wouldn’t do that, and yet…

“So you’re building a desire for what I have from the rest of the student body?”

“Perciscley.” He responded.

“Somehow I envisioned my comment maybe encouraging you to act more friendly,” she sighed, “I’m not sure how I expected that.” Asuka took another small bite of the cake she’d been poking at.

“Friendly Kyouya might grab some attention, but it’d only grab attention for me. I already have enough of that. What we need is for enough people to want to be friends with you that we can get whoever we want when it comes down to marketing the jewelry.”

“Alright.” Asuka conceded, “You win this round. You’re right.” She put down the fork and leaned slightly over the table, staring Kyouya directly in the eyes, “So go ahead and make me Ouran Academy’s rising star.”

I used to ship a problematic ship (major age gap) but I recently stopped shipping it as it made me extremely uncomfortable and now I feel weird a gross. What should I do? Everytime someone mentions the show they're from or I come across old fic of mine or pictures I saved, I wanna curl up into a ball out of shame and disgust. I really regret shipping the ship but I don't know how to stop hating myself for it!

(this is a personal issue, linked to only one ship! Please do not view this as judgement or distain to those who ship age gap ships, please!)

Hey, this took a while to answer, but here i am ❤️

If you have an AO3 account, you can orphan the fic! That way it can still be viewed by people who enjoy the ship while also keeping you safe from any notifications from it. That way it wont be associated with you at all either.

I also highly encourage you to block all the ship tags for said ship. That way you can still have your same moots and such without being subjected to said ship. I also think that if your mutuals don't already tag the ship, you should be able to ask them to do so. Tagging things is the polite thing to do, and if they arent able to do so (or simply wont), then you have every right to unfollow them. (You ofc are valid if you want to unfollow them either way, this is just giving you an alternative if you dont want to lose contact with the cool people you met through your ship)

I don't know how to stop hating yourself over a ship you used to have. The only advice i have in that regard is to remember we all have phases in our lives that we all consider cringe, even though we dont judge others for the same things we judge ourselves on! Try to be kind to yourself, and maybe find a new ship or something else to focus on, and give yourself time to heal from that internalized shame you feel. There is no need to hate yourself over a ship, whether it be a ship you have now or have had in the past.

3. What fandoms do you write for? Lately it's mostly stargate (sg1 and Atlantis) but I've written for a bunch in the past (notably smallville, spn, csi)

10. Do you wrote crossovers? What's the craziest one you've ever written? Hell yeah! My first fic was a crossover. I've written a whole series of svnatural (spn and smallville) I also did a fun little sg1/smallville a while back too. Smallville crossovers are very fun

13. Have you ever co written a fic? No, but I'd be open to it

14. What's your all time favourite ship? Oh man, I shall say clois (sv clois my extra beloveds. Though my favourite to write is Sam & Daniel in any sense. Mcshep was tons of fun too)

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I haven't even written a word it's a blank titled doc that could be a saving hope fic that basically switches who is lost in the car accident (because I wanted to make the end worse apparently. That doc title is "I've completely lost the plot")

16. What are your writing strengths? Oddly enough dialogue and characterization. I feel like I almost do too much dialogue sometimes (or at least don't add much in between) but it is what it is. And I think I'm pretty great at keeping them in character

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I already addressed it but the scene setting, anything action

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I mean, I havent been able to do it sny of mine, the only one I know is French and I'm not even close to fluent

19. First fandom you wrote for? I first started writing for csi, but the first fic I posted was one of the svnaturals

20. Favourite fic you've ever written? That is too many to choose from. I had a ton of fun with So much for normal, I love the silliness

any tips for starting a new writing blog?

hello dear anon!! oh my days it’s been so long since i started mine i cant really remember.

i would say remember that the first post is always nerve-wrecking and it’s ok to be nervous!! and subsequently the lack of notes since people wont know you and your style right off the bat! it’s ok to feel discouraged when you arent getting much attention too, since you are a newly established blog. the algorithm on tumblr sometimes sucks too :/

to me its personal preference but i like to have some semblance of a theme, or rather more of a post to consolidate everything that you post, not just your writings but also your faq, introductions, links, rules, etc. i usually look at a few writing blogs to see how they format things - everyone has their own ways of organising their pinned post and you can always mix and match to how you want to organise yours but it is NOT an invitation to plagiarise directly (yes, even if you change the colours of the theme to avoid suspicion). think of it with your own ideas and whatnot!!

NEVER. NEVER write on tumblr drafts on mobile. PLEASEEEE remember this. bc notifications appear on the bottom of the screen, sometimes the keyboard will go down and your finger might accidentally brush up against it. you will lose your work. it’s very very disheartening. another instance is also getting out of the app to fact check smtg for ur fic for eg and you come back to a previous post of your own from the notif ... and ur work is gone lol. writing on drafts is easier on desktop although i would say still have a safety net on google docs / notes / ur own writing notepad.

in regards to posting, if you are looking to fully be a sfw or nsfw blog then you can ignore this but i try to plan what kind of works i plan to post. if my smut works are doing well i try my hand at posting a fluff. smut works unfortunately will always get more notes imo, but dont get discouraged from writing fluff bc its still very fulfilling but the reality surrounding these genres are very distinct.

dont be afraid to delete asks or feel an obligation to answer every ask. at the end of the day it is ur blog and u choose what to put on it. if u get trolls and spammers just delete them or if u want to entertain them go ahead too.

be prepared to write out of your comfort zone. i know i said it’s ur blog and you choose what to put on it but sometimes i dont want to write the same trope with the same character and some of the requests allow me to improve my writing with characters im not too fond of for eg. i personally am still trying to push myself more, but it’s a good way to grow!

i like to attach a good amount of tags to my writing. the max on this site is 30 tags, i like to do around 15 or below that. to me it just looks less cluttered and neater. ofc w/ masterlists i usually just tag everything but for individual pieces i dont do a lot!

the writing community is to uplift too 💟 it isnt about who gets the most notes and interactions but rather to celebrate our love for the characters, so much so that we create stories out of thin air. be respectful and kind and dont be afraid to form mutuals! ignoring all the drama and craziness on tumblr sometimes it really is one of the best places to be at the height of your fandom!! enjoy anon!

Suddenly those two surrounded with light. You look at the sight with slight interest as you heard what kohaku cast. As the light disappear... You saw.

KohAi: kokoko, it seems that your having fun, MC-han.
