Of course, it can't be things that would be noticed. A spare button that was dropped and left on the floor. A ripped piece of cloth abandoned on a coffee table. Safety pins forgotten out on a desk.

Maybe Whumper finds it, takes it away from Whumpee. They can't let Whumpee get a big head and think it's okay to take what isn't theirs.

Or maybe Whumper just laughs at how pathetic Whumpee's grasp for control has become. "Keep your collection, Whumpee. See what good those things do for you--we all know they're useless."

How is that going to affect Whumpee once they're out of the situation? Caretaker gives them everything they might need, and they still steal, out of habit and the need for control. Caretaker can keep offering to get them more of whatever they're stealing, but the lack of it isn't really the problem.

Y’all have pointed out Roier’s(who like bbh hasn’t been mentally okay since purgatory) complicated 3 day relationship as abuse more times than you have when abuse has actually been shown any other time.

Which is weird cause you will point out Roier showing tough love and hitting Pepito as abuse (which part of it is(not denying that) but also y’all are reaching for other bits of it) but won’t point out that Bad allowed dapper to continue s/h for over a week with the vultures(which is still somewhat recent), which is abuse; or when Richas experienced emotional abuse from his parents over the paintings; or Maxo and Wilbur being neglectful (even though parts of it wasn’t able to be helped because outside factors); or even Quackity being emotionally abusive and neglectful to Tilin. And I can’t even talk about Slime, Mariana, Flippa and codeflippa cause we’d be here all day with the underlying and ignored abuse that happens in their relationships because they love each other yet are still toxic to one another.

It’s so shitty that y’all only are pointing out and searching for minecraft rp(where normal logic doesn’t always apply) abuse only when it is right in your face. Physical abuse isn’t the only type of abuse and it’s shitty the way y’all are focusing on this one thing when it’s only been 3 days!! i think it simply would’ve been absolutely impossible for kotone to have the same personality as minato while being a girl. she would’ve killed herself for realsies out of necessity by the time she was 13 if she outwardly displayed his same behaviour. ideation would not have cut it with the reactions she’d receive for being that visibly depressed and autistic WHILE A GIRL. have you seen saori? it’s die or mask out there man.

this is absolutely true and very very likely not the actual reason she was written so different from minato, that’s probably cause the writers couldn’t conceptualize a girl acting like minato, or more charitably that they knew such a character as a protagonist wouldn’t be received well by their main fanbase. misogyny begets misogyny in that through the misogynistic writing of — lets be real — the entire persona franchise, a very high percentage of the female characters’ personalities and actions are reasonably explained by in-universe misogyny, sometimes intentionally and more often as a byproduct. and of course the ways they’re written and reacted to are easily explained by real life misogyny. god name a stronger relationship than persona and misogyny, i’ll wait
