I really lo ed math !! it was nice qhen i understoos the moethod and reasoning, because then i can just sit and do tbe same rhing over and over again. What's a subject you feel knowledgeable about (including fandom stuff!)? What're your favorite things/facts in that subject?

I feel pretty knowlegable about abuse and childcare/certain child psuch things! not very much, but ig uts the thing i could ramble the most abt aside from lego monkie kid and a few toehr fandoms i cant quiiiiteee rembemebr. My fzv fun fact is that threats of physical abuse can and mostly do have the same mental effects as if the person had followed through (ie/ getting told by your dad that hes gonna hit you, after enough time/consistently enough, you will react as though he had hit you all those times)

I dont have any projects going on right now, but i just finished one so ill tell you about that !! This is my dnd character, Bramble Elodia! She was created by a man named Foth Eir Oak Elodia. He has a dream of creating a city full of just robots and mschinery and living artifical people, such as bramble who is based off of porcelain bjd's!! :3 my fav tbing abt her is her cute, friendly nature despite her tall (she is 7'2) stature and sense of looming. I also ADORE her camera apeture eye, she has a camera in her head. Funf act abt her !! she has water based mechanisms inside her, like little mills and such, so she always sounds like flowing water :}

Movies - Tangled !! Its fun and lighthearted with some pretty epic emotional beats. very relateable.

What hobbies do you have? What's your favorite part? Your least favorite part?

I mostly do digital art, i write too, and kandi art as well! For digital art, my fav is definitely the colours and special effects i can do. I have the whole rainbow whene i need it, i can easily change and wdit the pallette, its so fun and good. Least favourite is comijg up with what to draw akdbfjbgf

For writing, id say my favourite part is using nice words and portraying things drawings cant express (at my skill level i mean) and how you can change the readers feelings with just a few simple word choices- its nice to cut through to your reader like that. Feels like im making a connection. Least favourite part is keeping the words in my head and the words in my word doc the same or similar. Im bad at keeping the words in my brain when i think up cool things to say, so i tend to get the vauge thoguht down but not what i wsnted

For kandi art, i LOVE how pretty it is! giving it away as gifts is fun too. The beads slot together so well, creating paths for the string js fun and so satisfying. Least favourite is when i ACCIDENTALLY DROP THE STRING AND THREE HOURS IF WORK GOES DOWN THE DRAIN T-T. its a little finnecky sometimes too, and i got big clumsy sausage fingers jsjfjgjf

Silliest thing you've ever done?

okag okay. no judging ne over this even though i was like 14 and passed the age i should have done stuff lsike. uh. thatm this. i suppose.

So. Im 14. im about to make a hot chocolate. the water has boiled.

I decide i want filtered water instead. I decide, in a moment if beautiful clarity, that the shirt ive been wearing for like three weeks straight without breaks (deppression) would make a good filter.

I put my shirt over the mug. i am standing on my tippy toes to reach the counter. there is cat hair on my shirt and it is deeply stained. I have not yet realised that my shirt will then be wet with BOILING HOT WATER ON MY STOMACH. nobody is home. i am safe in the ignorance and ignorance of all rules and laws.

The mug is halfway full.

I need to take a break from being on my tippy toes. i stand down on flat feet.

the mug tips.

i now have boiling water all over my stomach.

my wet and warm shirt is now on my now burnt stomach.

i go upstairs and douse myself with coldish water in the shower.

i do not come clean about this for a whole year and a half. i say i just spilled it on my stomach normally.

What was your dream job(s) as a kid? Why did you wanna do it? Is it still your dream job?

My first two dream jobs were fahsionista/fashipn designer and an author! I wanted to be a fahsion designer cause i lovelove clothes and being able to express myself really well. As for author? I just like dwriting, and telling kinda fucked up stories (at my age and reading and writing elvel i mean). Mostly wrote about lesbians. Didnt know what a lesbian was.

Id always loved story telling, i just thoguth and still think its really cool. When i was about 4, i think dad said, i would tell HIM bedtime stories ibstead of him telling me any. This more than once lead to me telling stories such as the one where a big monster went to this town and atr my entire family (i went into as much grotesque detail as my brain could muster) and sawed off peoples limbs to use as utensils like chopsticks and then ate those too and bit off peoples heads to trhow them at my other family members. the big momster had fun doing this. much fun. then at the edn i reveleaed that the monster was ME the wjole time and yeah dad said it was scary for me to do stuff like that.

Also do you KNOW how concerned my teacher was when 4th grade me wrote a story about two girls locked in this guys basment in tiny little capsules and they had to escape with the other girls that qere there? and how they had to kill the giy that trapped them ans the emotional aftermath of taking a human life, but knowing it was them or you and they saved all these women too? so concerned. dad said i wrote like if stephen king loved pink glitter and fairies that ate people. and was also 9 years old.

Hey, the person that both recommended in asks and submitted Yuurivoice characters, i just saw a tiktok that kinda upset me and it made me kinda paranoid about the possible consequences of my actions so i just wanted to say:

If any of you following this blog ever want to get into the yuurivoice stuff, specifically bittersweet, please, i'm begging you, be respectful of the fact that he has his reasons to probably never make it 100% explicitly canon in the main storyline, don't be a dick/annoying about it and maybe also don't ask about it's canonicity in stream chat, it's been asked and he has answered many times before just watch the old youtube streams.

(And for the love of god, don't be all passive aggressive about him apperantly "profiting" of the idea of the poly by making an non-canon 18+ audio of the three of them for his patreon [which the patreon and by extension the exlusive content on there is basically his main income afaik and he's only made one or two of the poly out of all the monthly content that makes him money] but still "refusing" to make them canon, like that tiktok person did.

Making it sound all like intentionally manipulative, i guess? Like some sort of eqivalent to like a big studio queerbaiting or something?! What the fuck is wrong with some people?! Especially on that godforsaken app?!)

I usually stay away from both most fandoms (especially asmr/audio roleplay type youtuber fandoms) and tiktok (and especially said fandoms on tiktok) but curiosity got the better of me and i checked the yuurivoice tiktok tag and since i don't have a tiktok account i counldn't check the comments on that video to see how other people responded and i've seen some other people complaining about it not being fully canon on tiktok as well but again since i don't usually interact with the fandom it's hard for me to tell if the bad attitude about the ambiguity is a majority or minority kind of thing in the fandom as a whole.

And while i generally trust that most people following you're lovely blog are gonna be respectful, i couldn't help but be anxious about possibly adding even one other person being so negative about this to the fandom through my recommendation.

And like if you read my rambling on my submission, i personally can't relate to how some people seem so hung up on this needing to be so black and white anyway.

It is canon (and explicitly so) that these three people love each other (in whatever way), are family, are gonna stay together and wanna go home together. If i remember correctly he has said before that it seems like some people like to ignore the found family aspect of the story and how being loved unconditionally now is a huge thing for the one of the three that isn't officially dating the other two (the other two being a couple since the start of the story) because of his backstory.

Idk, since he has metioned that this is essentially a piece of emotionally personal vent art in a way, it just seems kinda disrespectful to me how some people go about this, yk?

And personally i find his reasoning in regards to it needing to be an inherently kinda ambigious situation because of the self-insert aspect understandable.

At one point to being asked about if they're canon he said something along the lines of:

"The best answer to that question is actually "You tell me. Are they? ""

(Again sorry for the wall of text, and the negativity, i guess, i just needed to get this off my chest/make sure.)

I completely understand. I’m sorry you were in a dark place during that time where you were really into Lis. I truly am. And also you don’t have to explain yourself about archiving your old works it’s YOUR art at the end of the day. I get it must me hella frustrating when people keep asking about grahamscott or any old fandom. I understand you. Lis is a special game to you, but you were just in a very dark place that it just if you get back into it, it’ll might make you feel the same way you felt when you were in it. Also I get you might feel like you’re only known for Lis art of grahamscott art, but your dnd art is honestly I prefer it. This might sound weird, but I can see in your art that you truly enjoy your art now more than you used to. So i understand the archiving. You don’t have to get back into Lis so quickly or any time soon, it’s hard to just be into a fandom for so long. And god have you been in the Lis fandom for a really really long time.

It is a bit frustrating sometimes even though I know people don't mean any harm by asking about it. I guess that's the thing with social media. What you once posted will forever haunt you lmao

I was active in the fandom for a bit over 2 years I think? It is quite a long time especially when you consider that I am just 19 years old so that is a notable portion of my life. Also with that comes the inevitable cringing at your old self especially because big changes happen during those years. Simply put, I grew up.

I genuinely feel like I was such a child back then (I mean, I was 16 when I got into LIS so legally a kid still) and a lot of stuff that appealed to me was very much connected to my situation and life experience. This includes Life is strange. I wouldn't exactly say I grew out of it because that sounds too much like implying the game is "too childish" for me now but for example, the appeal of fanon Grahamscott was very much in the angst/comfort aspect of the ship because I related to Nathan as a character at the time. Probably mostly because of my experience with mental illness and dysfunctional family dynamics. After I moved out and cut ties with some family I was finally able to start recovering and respecting myself by setting boundaries. It truly did wonders for my health and self-image. I no longer needed LIS in the same way I had before. I remember a friend saying that he knows he's doing terrible mentally whenever Nathan Prescott as a character becomes relatable and I think that rings true for me as well.

But yeah end of LIS rant. It really means a lot hearing that because I feel that way about my art now. I don't know how to explain it but something about starting playing DnD with a group of close friends of mine really re-ignited a long-lost passion for fantasy art that I had had as a young kid. It reminded me of why I started drawing in the first place. I suddenly became so fixated on my own characters and their stories that it naturally improved my art because I started consuming more and more art from other fantasy artists that inspired me. Also since I have come to the conclusion that I want to make art my career I started taking my work more seriously than I had in my fandom days. I actually started thinking about what I truly wanted from art. Not just what would get me the most likes and comments but what makes me feel content. What I want to express and depict in my art.

To me personally, there is a stark difference in my art now compared to what it was in my LIS days for example. Not just in my technical skills but also in my passion for what I do.

30 Day Fictionkind Challenge - Days 1-5:

1). What is your fictotype? Are you a specific character, a nonhuman species, or both?

Vergil from Devil May Cry, and both, I’m a demon! Well, half-demon technically.

2). Do you experience dysphoria? How so?

I had what was essentially species dysphoria back then anyway and that’s carried on into this life. It just hits worse now that this body is human. As well as dysphoria around lacking traits demons had, not even being half devil anymore, species-related gender dysphoria, etc. etc. I also have the “I’m not my fictotype anymore, I’m meant to be them” feeling. All of it sucks to say the least. I’m learning to cope with it better, and I’m grateful for phantom shifts and the rare ‘kin-related dream to give me a little bit of that form back.

3). Who are you open about it with?

My ‘kin friends on various social media and anyone who follows me on here, but even then I’m not really open about it other than saying I am him. I struggle to open up about being fictionkin or talk about it as much as I’d like to, even if it makes up a massive part of my identity. Would I tell you things if you asked? Absolutely. But otherwise, no. Wanting to be more open is why I’m doing this challenge actually.

I’m vaguely open irl since I go by my fictotype’s name with friends sometimes. I’d guess they just see it as for fun or me liking him a lot and I don’t really want to go through the ordeal of explaining that it isn’t either of those things.

4). Do you participate in the fandom of your source? How do you do so?

Kind of? I’m there for news and for art but I don’t like the fandom much. Or at least the vocal minority of it. Seeing some of the things they ship involving me makes me extremely uncomfortable to the point of feeling ill over it, but what can you do but block tags and avoid the people who post it. Anyway I don’t really participate that much directly but I do answer questions on the subreddit sometimes if that counts.

5). Do you fictionflicker?

I can’t remember any specific characters I’ve flickered recently, but I think I do!

is kyle a good friend to stan?

“We didn’t really think too much about, like, what it was saying on a bigger level. [...] When we came back, I was like, ‘I don’t give a shit what we say about Stan, we just have to have Duck President.’” - Matt Stone on You’re Getting Old, Season 15 commentary

the problem with that question is how subjective the answer can be. do we all measure friendships the same way? furthermore, there is a significant moment in the now often-debated episode, Assburgers, that i feel gets glossed over during this discussion: in the scene where stan begs kyle for the secret recipe, and kyle refutes him

(obvious yet necessary disclaimer: i’m not matt or trey, and i’m also not the first fan to have thoughts about south park. this interpretation is transformative, not necessarily unique)

so, after kyle's confusion and refusal, the fast-food executive says: “oh, right, like a friend would walk out on somebody who was diagnosed with a serious illness.” when kyle defends himself, his exact wording is: “you said ‘fuck you’ to my face, stan.” then, stan claims he “didn’t realize what he was saying.” the executive comments again: “oh, yeah, like any friend would say something that severe and then try to take it back.” (caps below)

the executive, in this scenario, is the narrative itself. kyle has done stan wrong by eventually giving up on stan in a time of need - or at the very least, what can justifiably be interpreted as abandonment. however, stan has also done kyle wrong by giving into an overwhelming amount of negativity, rendering kyle’s attempts at balancing both stan’s needs and his own throughout YGO and Assburgers futile. the episode tells us… they are both in the wrong. i hate stating the obvious, again, which in this case is “kyle was doing his best, considering he is a child,” but it may be worth mentioning here.

anyway, as the consumer, any art can be debated, but i do think this was purposeful. i notice a tendency for fresh south park fandom to be very one-way-or-the-other about this arc, which is surprising, considering the gray-tone of sp overall (versus black-and-white thinking). You’re Getting Old and Assburgers are episodes about stan and kyle being shitty friends to each other. however, stan, essentially south park's protagonist, is going to be the one we empathize with more. this is neither a correct or incorrect choice to make, rather, one that naturally falls into place. if kyle had, from the start of the episode, agreed with stan in full and was able to help him without any struggle, there would be no plot. 

south park does say some things very blatantly. unfortunately, due to its format (“we’re not being serious! or are we?”) some jokes inevitably get taken in as serious notes by the fandom. in contrast, other profound moments are just brushed off as jokes, once again, by the fandom. 

as of late, i have seen: categorizing kyle as “unresponsive” when stan called him to ask about tolkien’s name in s25e2, even though the tone was for framing stan’s overreaction as hilarious. kyle also has yet to visit stan at the farm, which can either be purposeful or incidental on m&t’s part. if it’s purposeful, what negates the stan-critical writing in this arc, as well? alternatively, how can we say it is not simply a detail m&t have forgotten to make an episode featuring? that’s the thing: none of us can say either yet. i have more to say on this end as it relates to Post-COVID and Return of COVID, but i'll elaborate on that in a later post.

it’s interesting that the YGO-Assburgers arc is now (as in perhaps the past two years, or so) regarded as a “loss” for stan/kyle shippers. in any case, stan said he loved kyle, and not with air of humor surrounding (versus something like The China Problem). it’s also strange to frame the labyrinth that is male pre-teen best friendship as “broken” when they fight, considering that is very normal, common, expected, and at times even beneficial to strengthening said unconditional friendship.

stan and kyle are not the same person. the main point of YGO & Assburgers was for stan to be a vehicle through which matt and trey explore the shittiness of growing up (depression). i believe that this is not something that would have been an episode very early on, in the seasons where the show was establishing and emphasizing the close bond between stan and kyle. if they weren’t shown to be extremely close, their break-ups would have no impact. kyle, stan’s best friend, is going to be the reactionary character; kenny is too far in the background, and cartman is cartman and would not care whether or not stan is feeling depressed. which leaves kyle. the same can be said for stan, when stan is in opposition to kyle. conflict is how you create a storyline.

the stan-kyle dynamic and its reputation in fandom has become something of a “damned if they do, damned if they don’t” situation. in other words: if stan and kyle have a consistently healthy and close relationship, then they are disregarded as “boring” and “uninteresting,” or even “conventional.” however, if they fight, then it becomes this argument of stan deserving better than kyle; even though, as far as i could tell, “deserving” isn’t a matter of any relevance in a ship, though most specifically a ship where two characters (who by those episodes have lived under 10% of their lives) consistently choose one other, consciously, for a variety of reasons.

Hey! This is a bizarre ask but hopefully a welcome one after *gestures at the destruction and fire*. I’m completely new to the Loki/thorki fandom, having essentially come in via the exit door by watching the Loki tv series first. I was honestly just watching it for junk value to have something in the background while I knit. However, when I realized that I didn’t understand anything by the middle of Ep. 1, I went back to watch Thor 1 so I could get what was going on. And HOLY SHIT I was utterly captivated by Loki’s character in the original movie, as well as by the Loki-Thor and Odin family dynamics. I’ve now watched through the films and have been increasingly disappointed by the portrayal of Loki (since Avengers 1 frankly) save a few glimmers of good characterization here and there.

I can’t believe that I’m getting myself into another queer coded (and now more than coded wtf) “villain” with a tragic backstory who’s done dirty by the fandom at large, but here we are! I’m also super into thorki because goddamn… they sure do have a Dynamic™.

So I guess my question is, what is actually good here? I feel like I’ve been trying to fight my way back to Kenneth Branagh!Loki, and have been largely unsuccessful within canon content. Do you have suggestions for a newcomer re: fics, fanart, and meta that actually treats Loki seriously? (and thorki as well?)

And this isn't a bizarre ask at all. It was really nice to receive actually! And yeah! I'm so glad you went back and watched the originals. The TV Show character is a completely new character played by the same actor who has nothing in common with the original character (who yes is absolutely fascinating and captivating and multilayered). Honestly I just think of the tv character as Larry, Loki's dumb lookalike cousin bc they have nothing in common lol. So glad the show led to you discovering good content...and thorki. And yeah Thor 2011 is amazing! It's so underrated. If you want meta relating to that and also just gushing about the film you can def check out my Thor 2011 tag.

For the purpose of this fest, neurodiverse includes anything in the DSM V and anything you wish was in the DSM V, with an emphasis on currently underrepresented neurodiverse Snapes. (Unipolar depressed Snape, for example, is pretty well represented in the fandom.)

What if I’d rather not do the prompts?

That’s totally okay! We know that folks may not be called to these prompts, or might only want to do a few of them—that’s fine. You may also have a specific world/theme/neurodivergence in mind and want to make multiple works relating to that, but find that what you have in mind doesn’t fit all the prompts—we think that’s awesome! Go for it!

Can I write/draw/create about things that I don’t experience?

First of all, we will never question your experience or demand an explanation/justification for why you chose to create a work. We think that kind of behavior is very rude.

However, we hope you will put care and thought into your representations of neurodiversity and/or mental illness. You might ask yourself:

Have you learned directly from the source?—that is, from multiple people who experience that neurodivergence or mental illness personally? This is required in all cases. You can read tumblr blogs dedicated to pretty much any form of neurodiversity or mental illness, for example. Instagram is another great place to start, and there are many others.

Do you know what ableism looks like regarding this neurodivergence or mental illness? Have you seen some bad representations and do you understand what makes them bad?

Have you learned enough to create a well-rounded, “3 dimensional” portrait of a unique individual with that neurodivergence or mental illness? (Within reason, given that many fanworks just aren’t long enough or detailed to actually show all you know, and that’s okay.)

All of this is possible! If you can confidently answer these questions, and are open to making mistakes and being kindly corrected if need be, then go for it, loves!!!💕

We believe that in order to create diverse and realistic original fictional worlds, all of us will have to create characters who are unlike us. Practicing this skill in fandom space is a safe and friendly way to begin.

Sometimes this means making small errors and then correcting them. That’s okay, because we are all learning, and we don’t subscribe to moral purity/policing ideas that falsely claim that good people come into the world perfect, so imperfect people must then be bad. We reject that kind of reactionary Calvinism!

I challenged @headgehug, and thus was challenged. My answer to those Disco Elysium questions that have been going around.

Who is your favourite character apart from Harry and Kim? Okay, that's a difficult first question. I did a Tier List after my playthrough and I mostly stand by it, though some characters would be different (Lilienne and Ruby would be higher since I actually got to interact more deeply with them). It's a difficult choice because I love a lot of them for completely different reasons. I think it would be between Evrart, Joyce and Gaston. Gaston is absolutely adorable, Evrart is a wonderful chessmaster I really like, and Joyce is Joyce. Maybe Joyce wins. (The Dicemaker is also very marking, oddly enough.) (Honestly going through my screenshots, Joyce definitely wins. She has a lot of great lines and she's also quirky af, going along with your weird answers.)

What is the one skill you would use to best describe yourself? If I let myself be defined by ADHD (and it is, honestly, a huge part of my being and conducts my behavior), probably Electrochemistry. I crave stimulation and I'm weak to sugar urges. I don't do drugs and that's mainly because I know if I started, I wouldn't be able to stop. Alternatively, Inland Empire and Conceptualization. Which, honestly, are still part of the ADHD umbrella, just less evidently so I guess.

Do you have a favourite Copotype and political alignment and if so, which one? Not really. I was pretty honest in my first playthrough and ended up being a Communist and a Sorry/Boring Cop. To be fair, it's hard not to apologize every five second when you see... how much stuff happened. 2nd playthrough I tried to be a capitalist but around the midway point I ended up being a Communist again. I was more of a Artful/Fancy Cop though. Next time I'll try being an idiot (fascist). I'd say my first archetype was my favorite.

What is one thing you don’t like about the story or that could have been done better? The true culprit, obviously. I've not hidden my distate for them one bit. Worst part of the game. Boring, uninteresting, they may fit the game's themes but----it's just. ugh. I've seen that kind of stuff, I got it.

What is a popular fan interpretation that you don’t like? I haven't delved into the fandom much so I don't have anything in mind.

What do you love about the game? What's not to love?

Is there any type of fan content that you wish there would be more of? See my answer for 5) but there's never enough meta. I hope my Underwear Meta contribution made a difference. DE needs more fanfic, more fanart, more everything. Gimme those sweet Lilienne/Joyce fics!

What is your favourite line from the game? Joyce before she goes away: "One last thing, Lieutenant Du Bois/nameless detective." She starts the engine. "I've given the matter much thought and come to this conclusion: You're not an amnesiac. You're *insane*. I know -- because I, too, am insane. I just hide my illness better. And I'm rich." 1. Harry: "How do you keep it together?" Joyce: "The same strict psychological regimen the eighth admiral developed when he crossed the pale and discovered this isola -- the *Volta do Mar*. It's used by interisolary travellers and other troubled souls even to this day." Volition (Easy): "You could use a little of it yourself." 2. Harry: "What do you have?" Joyce: "I'm over-exposed, baby. My travels take me through the pale dozens of times a year. I've got the longing -- and I've got it *bad*." She points to her heart. She would die to return to it. The pale. The past. Anything one can return to. 3. Harry: "Isn't *everybody* a little insane?" Joyce: "No, detective -- no one's as insane as you." +BONUS: Joyce: She smiles. "Watch out for yourselves. They will strike soon." I realize it's an entire scene rather than a line, but there's no line in particular that I can designate, it's the whole moment for me. I feel like I relate hard to this feeling of being, well not insane, but different in a lot of ways, and in ways that make my life difficult, and in ways that a lot of people simply don't/can't get. So having Joyce say to me that she not only can understand me but related to me felt very good to my broken mind. And she can't be fixed, she can only continue to live with it, like other "travellers and troubled souls". Not only that, but she's longing for it, and she has a yearning feeling of nostalgia. I'm prone to that too, or I would be if I hadn't forgotten most of my school years. "Anything one can return to." She needs her anchors. I'm still puzzled by her "on one's insane as you", but I feel like it's a compliment on Joyce's part. She's appreciating Harry (my)'s weirdness and giving it legitimacy, in some way. Appreciation with your issue, not in spite of. And then she asks Harry (and Kim if he's there) to watch out for themselves, before leaving. She truly cares, even though you're a sad excuse of a human being. She truly cares. So that whole exchange, really.

Do you have a favour political vision quest? I only did the Moralist one I think, and I couldn't succeed but it was, um, it had a very weird starting point and it was a mess, but I liked what little I did of it, though it felt really depressing.

What are your headcanons for what happens after the end of the game? Everyone is gay, gets married and lives happily ever after.

Do you want more official games and stories set in Elysium and if so, which ones? No, I think it works nicely as a single unit.

What are your headcanons for pre-Martinaise Harry? Definitely in a relationship with Vicquemare at some point.

What is your least favourite aspect of the game mechanics? Loading screens, though they got MUCH (90%) faster in the latest update on Switch. Also it's hard to be nuanced in that game. Also it's really hard to get into the Thought Cabinet because it just... isn't of much use. In my 2nd playthrough I decided to use it as much as possible, it wasn't particularly worth it.

What was the moment that touched you most while playing? Joyce's departure, as written above. It hit hard in subtle ways. It's rare that I feel understood this much by a videogame character (or even someone at all). The scene where you have to announce the death of a guy to her husband (and then, on a subsequent playthrough, finding that woman in the early days and talking to her knowing perfectly well what would happen. fuck.) is a hard scene, very memorable.

When playing it for the first time, did you go in blind or not? Is there anything you would want to change about your first playthrough? 100% blind. I just knew Kim Kitsuragi existed, and that you could die quickly or something. Wouldn't have changed a thing since my 2nd playthrough covered new stuff.

Wild Pines vs. The Débardeurs’ Union – what do you think of the Evrarts and who do you root for? Oh I absolutely love everyone in this conflict. They're all fascinating as fuck, I'm rooting for both camps at once because Joyce and the Evrarts are so interesting and charismatic.

What skill is the most fun/coolest/most interesting to set as your signature skill? Encyclopedia on 2nd playthrough was nice. I'll try a physical build next time...

What is your opinion on the Elysium lore? I don't think I really care about lore? But also the Pale is very interesting. It's a shame the one character who lived through a lot of moments in a very involving way (Culprit-san) is also awfully uninteresting. There's potential, but burying it in a looooooong ramble about how women are sl*ts and men are simps and the world is decadent and nothing matters or make sense and nobody's worth shit or whatever, I don't think it's particularly captivating. If I want to see an asshole I can just go to r/The_Don*ld or JK Terfing tweets.

Which character arc or piece of lore would you have wanted to be explored more in depths? Everything. I hate that once you've completed somebody's questioning, you don't really get more out of them. It's unsatisfying.

How would you position yourself politically in Revachol? Def Communist.

Is there something that you missed on your first playthrough that completely blew your mind and/or changed how you view the story when you found out it existed later? Not really, but the Church storyline really was an entire third of the game, huh? Spending more time with some characters was nice though. This game really isn't about blowing your mind.

What would your own stats be? Intellect: 4 Psyche: 5 (for the wrong reasons, hello ADHD) Physique: 2 Motorics: 1

What is a thing in fanworks that you eat up every single time? See above answers.

What is your interpretation of the title of the game? As a French person, Elysium immediately calls to mind the Elysée, be it the Presidential Palace or the Champs-Elysées streets full of shops. It's about opulence, grandeur, capitalism. And then you've got Disco. Disco was a major trend born not out of typical people, but from black and queer people. In this regard, Disco is fundamentally opposed to Elysium. Fire and water. The oppressed and the oppressor. And in the game, you're a cop, an official cop, investigating in a place where the locals neither acknowledge your official status nor want you there. Two conflicting forces.

Favourite piece of in-game art (graffiti, poetry etc.)? @headgehug rightly mentioned "Un jour, je serai de retour près de toi" which is absolutely beautiful. My favorite would be "Something beautiful is going to happen". I think it's an incredible sentence.
