Khun never leaves the house which is convenient so there's Kinn who wanted to be a musician and fall in love and be happy - quite literally the antithesis of the mafia life. Porsche has to literally hold him back from reaching out to his uncle in the middle of a gun fight intended to end with his death.

Korn doesn't want to let any of his pieces go and Kinn was the only son who would leave and actually leave. He, like Nampheung, could have met a nice boy and never came home whereas Kim would always have a murder board. If Kinn is like his mom, and I wouldn't put it past Korn, and she tried to leave? He probably killed her rather than let her leave with his sons. His chess pieces for his own games and machinations.

Korn is always having to impress his will on Kinn because Kinn, in the end, doesn't care about the mafia. He only cares about the people in it.
