#my art #so before I drew this I drew smth shitty with a shitty brush and I got a huge artblock and hated myself for a good hour or two then I was #about to post about my art block and how I was going to take a break from drawing then I looked at my lineless art again and remembered how #much fun it was when I just drew it lineless. I only forced myself to find a perfect brush/art style when in reality the perfect artstyle #was the one that made me happy. So I went to my notebook and I saw my beautiful old sketch I drew of bookmark in different povs with the ba #sketchiness of it. So I got inspired. I colored in between the bad sketches. Redesigned the parasite. And smiled. This artstyle may not #stick for a while. But is sure made me happy and because of that. I love my art. And my style. And my ocs. #knowing that we're likely not going to get an ova too is painful <//3 #m sorry to go off on a bit of a tangent #but I can't help but feel bitter that an actually good series with coherence and amazing characters just gets treated like this #and series like jjk and demon slayer get to have such good adaptations?#I don't hate both series btw as I watch them myself but even I have more criticisms in their story and charas compared to hq #jjk at this rate is being carried by satosugu shippers and popularity the story honestly is slowly losing substance :'DD #and it's disappointing such a series manages to get to have a consistent adaptation vs a good and inspiring story #which is why I can't help but feel <//3 whenever ppl rant about the jjk animation cause it's better than the hq treatment TvT #don't get me started on demon slayer I have mixed feelings about that series as well but I love it for what it's worth xD #and if people say the hq fandom is being bitter or biased isn't it justifiable?#a consistent and amazing narrative gets butchered me thinks people have a right to feel the way they do #naturally the fandom is not downplaying the efforts of the animators and voice actors but we also have a right to feel the way we do #we feel the way we do out of genuine love for a series that inspired and helped us so much #it's just so unfair TvT #m terribly sorry again for ranting and dropping negativity but I feel really disheartened about this news #and not simply cause ofc we won't get the bokuaka match #but also because my favorite series doesn't deserve this #eli rambles #bokuaka #haikyu #haikyuu #haikyu!!#hq

Hello!!!!! Do you have a detailed description of your Rot Girls ocs? I really want to draw them if that's ok with you.......... :]

I do but it's like a long OC doc i have for them I will link that instead as a doc for easy reading. It's not the full thing just important stuff cause I'm nowhere near done but I still think it's enough. Sorry if the physical descriptions aren't the best I still have to like... fully visualize how they look and then translate that into a ghoul form :P

Here's some fun facts about them and their creation tho:

Each girl's name is a mix of a musical term associated with them and a type of award given to a performer

Emmie and Tempo met first and it was due to Tempo loving the way she sung

Tempo has holotapes from every genre of music and actively looks for more as a sort of preservation of art

She is especially sad all of Elvis' music is basically gone and has a weird appreciation for the King (her only guy crush)

Vivace is the most protective of the other two because they are her first friends like ever

They have a shitty fuckin van that has a big mural of a flaming Mother Deathclaw that Vivace painted cause the idea "Seemed less tacky" as a doodle

This is just some little stuff as I don't want to put too much here if I decide to change stuff but I ya want more or just silly little details, please ask!!!

going into nanowrimo with no outline and a project i'm not taking very seriously was the smartest choice i've ever made. it's day 4 and my story has already gone completely off the rails. every scene i'm like "what's the wildest thing that could happen right now?" and i just go for it. my characters just tore a hole in the space-time continuum. this thing is complete nonsense and i'm having a blast!!!

#i said this project was inspired by lost and i COMMITTED #my goal for nanowrimo was to focus more on connecting with writing as something that's fun and creative #bc i feel like the last few months i've been way too focused on finishing things and making things GOOD and i've been stressing myself out #like i'm just writing this project for fun! i can think about cleaning it up and doing something with it later if it want #right now the only goal i have for this project is to Write As Much As Possible and out-write all my previous nanowrimos #m.txt #nanowrimo
