“I went to @costco yesterday and could not resist these turquoise planters. I texted my husband a picture and told him to tell me I don’t need them. He promptly sent me $100 to buy a pair of them! Be forewarned, these things are BIG and much heavier than imagined! Only one will fit in a cart at a time. I found a very nice customer to help me lift one into my cart, then had to go the front and ask someone to go get me another. Then a nice young man named Matt helped me haul my two carts to my car and lifted them in for me. Today my husband and I managed to get them out of the car and onto the front porch. Don’t they look SPECTACULAR???!!! They match our teal door so nicely. they hold 45 quarts of soil according to the tag. Give your plants the care they deserve. You need to monitor your plants, especially during the cold season as plants need essential care during fall and winter to keep them green and alive. 🎍You’ll need to make a few adjustments as the seasons change.

By following these tips, you’ll help your plants survive the colder months.

🪴Please do not over-water your plants. 🪴Buy a nice planter that has drainage holes. 🪴Cut down on the use of fertilizers 🪴Look out for pests and insects 🪴Always remember that too cold and too warm temperature is not at all good for plants to enjoy their stay. 🪴Keep the plants on a side table near the window. 🪴Maintain the room temperature as plants remain in good condition in temperatures between 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. 🪴Buy a humidifier that would keep your plants well. 🪴Simply clean dusty indoor plants with a wet or damp cloth, cotton, or sponge.

🌱WELCOME TO THE PLANT COLLECTIVE!🌱 Are you Team Aroids or Team Hoya? 🌸I’m a bit torn on this one. I have a few Hoyas that I’ve had for quite some time and they look healthy, have beautiful long trailing vines, BUT have never flowered for me even though I have tried using orchid fertilizer & other fussy tricks(so far not working). So as much as I would love to smell that sweet fragrance from their blooms, I guess my aroid plants have one me over in the meantime! 🌿Such as my forgiving ZZ plant, that isn’t fussy, likes whatever light & water I give it, and it still looks fantastic! I just adore how it looks in this lowlight corner of my living room, in this beautiful white ceramic pot I received as a b’day gift(which I later realized has a Zig Zag pattern, and reminds me of the ZZ name😂).
