dude... it’s so painful. i generally don’t like kdramas but this has impacted me so greatly and i’m in love with it. remy and i tried watching bnha earlier today and i started getting teary eyed over everything LOL like, cloy did things...🤧

Daredefil Fic Recs

To honour Fandom Fic Rec Days (Feb 10th to 12th), let me post my top three favourite Daredevil fics.

Sunshine by MomentumDeferred Post-apocalypse ftw!! No, seriously. This is one of my biggest weaknesses. But this fic is so much more. It’s fandom-realistic--and I daresay for an apocalyptic AU that’s quite a feat, considering that the environment they characters are placed in is extremely different, and extremely harsh and unforgiving. The world created here is very tangible, the amount of thought and care that went into the world-building is amazing, and Ash (the author) has an uncanny ability to produce InstaTears™ in the reader at any given moment. IMHO, it’s among the best and most gripping fics in the fandom. Currently a WIP, but not for much longer. A sequel and several gap fillers are to follow.

Lost and Found by Citlali Slave AU, but a very compelling one, set in a world where it’s politically acceptable to exploit slaves for your personal gain, and punish them if they don’t perform as expected. Through an unforeseen set of circumstances, Matt ends up in the system, and leads a miserable life as a disabled slave -- until Foggy comes along. The setting that Matt and Foggy meet in may be different, but this universe stays true to the characters, and it’s a great read if you like what-if scenarios and a bit of political activism. Currently a WIP, but updates are still being posted at more or less regular intervals.

(cracked this morning) worse than weak by Idlewild Written for me for the 2015 x-mas exchange. Matt goes through a depressive spell, and because Foggy is an awesome friend, he’s there to help Matt through it. So much great h/c, and Matt and Foggy are awesome best friends.
