Really niche observation about TBB S3E13 (this Wednesday’s episode):

The title is “Into the Breach.” “Into the Breach” is a reference to the opening line of one of King Henry’s speeches in the Shakespeare plays, Henry V. King Henry gave this speech to his English troops outside the gates of Harfleur, France, before the English were about to wage war against the French. (I know Shakespearean verse is hella difficult to understand, but here it is anyway 😅 “unto” and “into” mean the same thing in this context)

I’m inclined to think that, if the Batch and other members of the clone rebellion (Rex, Echo, Howzer, etc.) don’t storm Tantiss this episode, this episode will serve as a foundation for that. The “Into the Breach” speech in Henry V was meant to rouse courage and strength in the English troops before a bloody battle, so long story short, it’s the beginning of the end 😭 (or the end of the end tbh)

Getting out of here

I am trenches deep into my fake candide backstory. Shes not leaving everything behind without these two. The green one is a jumper however, he doesn’t get window privileges very often.

This drawing works with two of my ideas. My overly thought out headcanons, and my satirical AU where she goes on the run from shadow gov and ends up at gator land.

I think it’s time to admit that my CH hyperfixation is actually back and that I am not enjoying this casually. I like drawing my pre shadow gov candide more than canon candide and idk why. Probably bc I’ve just worked myself up about this imaginary backstory for her. Let’s be honest, her real backstory is just going to be another case of Lord and Miller’s strange thing for characters making out with the opposite gender version of themselves.
