i just saw a badge somebody was selling that says “all lives matter” and i just wanna say now if you believe in that bullshit or the whole “blue lives matter” thing please unfollow me ty
ur really putting your own ignorance and selfishness over the lives of black people ?? even after the deaths of george floyd, breonna taylor, atatiana jefferson, aura rosser, stephon clark, botham jean, philando castille, alton sterling, michelle cusseaux, freddie gray, emmett till, janisha fonville, eric garner (this is my source and i got nowhere near to listing all of them) ?? i don’t even mean to get political man it’s common decency to get people arrested and held accountable for their deaths ? babe you can take off ur uniform at the end of the day❤️
Tumblr media
this woman was shot and died for saying that all lives matter and i’ve heard about her more than any of the people i listed above :/ and that really says something imo (x)
i don’t believe she deserved to die but the fact that THIS is being investigated by the police and is being used as an excuse to call the black lives matter movement a terrorist movement is absolutely insane
Tumblr media
but actually risking public health is fine, right? (x)
i have not seen ONE blm protest or blm awareness march not end in police violence but when i see these videos of white americans protesting “freedom” i don’t see any police brutality whatsoever. and that might be the media ˢʰᶦᵉˡᵈᶦⁿᵍ ʷʰᵃᵗ ᶦ ˢᵉᵉ and ᵐᶦⁿᵈ ᶜᵒⁿᵗʳᵒˡˡᶦⁿᵍ ᵐᵉ but like , this is wrong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also the peaceful violin vigil dedicated to honouring elijah mcclain was targeted with armed police guards shooting rubber bullets and tear gas (x) (y)
Tumblr media
(ok i can’t link more than one video but please go watch this, i’ll link the source)
also haha heehee hurting children is okay, right guys?? they were all arrested and held down because the police thought their CAR was a motorcycle that was stolen in a different state ???? i’m not sure how your prison system works @ my usa followers but here you can’t just arrest somebody without any kind of proof they did something wrong, and even then you can only hold somebody for 48 hours max, and children are taken and put in care, not handcuffed (x)
also i’m pretty sure you only hold somebody to the ground if they’re perceived as a threat but idk man i didn’t see the kids holding any guns
ok i’m really sorry for ranting this was gonna b a funny little quip @ racists but it’s genuinely an issue and i haven’t really spoken out about it much n it’s kinda pent up a bit

As a White Male, I Apologize.
To the African American, who suffered and still suffer for centuries, nearly millennia at my hands. Who was whipped, enslaved, raped, murdered, criminalized, and brutalized by countless white men of any and all ages.
Tamir Rice, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Daniel Prude, Breonna Taylor, Atatiana Jefferson, Aura Rosser, Stephon Clark, Botham Jean, Philando Castille, Alton Sterling, Michelle Cusseaux, Freddie Gray, Janisha Fonville, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Gabriella Nevarez, Michael Brown, Tanisha Anderson, and over 6,000 other Black men, women, and children killed at the hands of white, racist police officers.
As well as the 388,000 African Americans captured, seperated, and sold as slaves that were cursed to survive the Middle Passage and take part in the first of America's many injustices towards non white people.
To the Native American, who has suffered unacceptable ignorance, assimilation, and mockery of their culture at the hands of white people. Rape, murder, and missing persons cases left unsolved for decades, the unrightful taking of over 12,000,000 Native lives in what has become known as "The Indigenous Holocaust" or the "500 Year War", where some tribes were even driven to extinction.
For Forcing any if not all existing children under any surviving indigenous tribe to strip themselves of their names, languages, traditions, culture, and knowledge to appear like the white man. For putting you in confines of land that defy any native tradition that you may hold dear and destroying the novelty of the Nomadic Lifestyle for the rest of modern history called "Reservations", when really it is to contain and control that which cannot be controlled.
To the Hispanic American, for painting you as savages who are only out for white blood, when you are only trying to give a better life to your children and yourselves by running to a different country.
For raping your wives, murdering your daughters, and seperating your families in ICE facilities. For Losing track of over 5,000 of your children, almost all under the age of 13. For denying your right to have a decent life style away from drug lords and rampant gang violence.
To the Asian American, for painting you as the "Model Minority", when really we did that to cover up our own racism. For Painting you all as spies and communists for China and Japan during the World Wars.
For using you as pawns in our little game of CapCom with Russia, forcing you to kill your own brothers and sisters in the Korean War and the Vietanam War, and causing political and religious divides that still stand today, fracturing nations and families.
And to the thousands of other cultures that I did not put here that have been brutalized by the agenda of white supremacy, neo-nazis, captialism, and ignorance...
As a White Male, I am sorry.
I know that there is no way to make it up to all of you. We are millenia past that point. No amount of words can express my guilt, nor can it heal the wounds of thousands of years worth of torture and suffering.
But I hope this is a step towards better times. For all of our sake.

Warning: Real world disturbing subject matter.
I posted about Fighter from Goblin Slayer on Reddit, a few days ago, and some fellow popped up to ask, who is this ponytailed martial artist called Fighter? It took 3-4 replies from me, before the penny dropped!
This is exactly what I mean by victim silencing. Fighter is a hero and a rape victim, denied a voice or story or name. A man with a big sword, a harem, and career built on exploiting rape victims, is on the title page of her story; the survivor is silenced and shelved by injustice. Exploited, for the sake of male wish fulfilment light novel.
And in the real world, the same poisonous story of violence against silenced women is alive, and there are names to say. Stories reflect the vile or noble values of our reality, and it's been easier for me to save Susan Lei than do significant good for any real person; still, sometimes something must be done.

Anti-Fascist Struggle in Europe and State Repression in Russia
This week, we feature two segments on the show: an interview with a Russian anarchist about the recent ramping up of torture and repression by the FSB in Russia against anarchists and anti-fascists; and a chat with Patrick Strickland, author of "Alerta! Alerta!: Snapshots of Europe's Anti-Fascist Struggle".
FSB Torture of Radicals
First up, Bursts spoke with Tania, a Russian anarchist, a member of the crew who runs the RUpression website documenting Russian state agencies like the FSB's use of torture to extract stories to build conspiracies to legitimize their tightening of restrictions on public gatherings, chill the political and media landscape, and sustain a state of sense of fear among the populace. We discuss the death of Mikhail Zhlobitsky in a bombing of an FSB office in October, the current state of anarchist organizing in Russia, and the past political repression since 2012 and the cases in Pensa (which we've spoken of in this show in the past) and the 2017 "The Network" conspiracy case. In February 2019, a situation unfolded where Azat Miftakhov disappeared, came back tortured, and accused of taking part in an anarchist terrorist plot. Azat was released by court order only to be re-arrested by another police agency (well documented in this crimethInc article, alongside some downloadable posters for pasting around your town). You can learn more about the case by reading and following rupression.com
Patrick Strickland on European Anti-Fascism
Secondly, William had the chance to interview Patrick Strickland, who is a journalist and author, about his recently released book "Alerta! Alerta! Snapshots of Europe's Anti-Fascist Struggle". This book follows the stories and lives of 5 European people who do broadly defined antifascist work or struggle. For this interview we talk about Strickland's journalism, the experiences of compiling this book, and about understanding elements on the far right that might enhance antifascism, in the so called US, Europe, and elsewhere. Follow him on Twitter @P_Strickland_ for news and upcoming projects!

Show Up For Rayquan Borum!
If you are in Charlotte NC tomorrow, Monday the 11th, consider showing up to support Rayquan Borum, who is a Black activist arrested during the Charlotte Uprising, a days long protest to mourn and rage against the police murder of Keith Lamont Scott in 2016. From charlotteuprising.com/statement : "The uprising in Charlotte is a direct response to sustained police and vigilante violence against Black people in this city and across the country: Keith Lamont Scott, Jonathan Ferrell, Aiyana Stanley, Jones, Tyre King, Korryn Gaines, Janisha Fonville, Terence Crutcher and so many more. These are names of victims we know and deeply mourn, understanding there are so many other people who have been unnecessarily taken from us."
The arrest of Rayquan Borum was a direct attempt by police to frame Mr. Borum, and he is finally going to trial after 2 years being held in and out of solitary confinement. The trial will be held starts February 11th, and will start at 9:30am in room 5370 at the address 832 East Fourth Street Charlotte, NC, which is the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. You can follow the Charlotte Uprising on twitter, facebook, and tumblr for more ways to get involved and support the folks facing ongoing repression from the Uprising. And here is a link to a useful court support quicksheet made specifically for this trial!
Court solidarity needs for Rayquan are ongoing, so plug in when you can.
Federal Prison Postal Changes Survey
Lawyers & activists doing prisoner support have been concerned with new Federal Bureau of Prisons' rules limiting the type of mail people in prison can receive -- for example, rules that people in federal prison can only get white paper / envelopes, and no cards or drawings.   There is work being done to look into what is going on across the country on this issue. If you have heard anything, they'd love to hear about it.
They are also trying to collect evidence of what is happening at all the different federal facilities.  If you have any of the following (or if you feel comfortable asking for any of these types of things from people in prison you are in contact with), that would be super helpful, including:
Any memos from federal prisons detailing new mail restrictions
Any program statements from BoP detailing new mail restrictions
Any Institutional Supplements from BoP detailing new mail restrictions
Scans of federal mail rejections based on new restrictions (color of letter, color of envelope, use of mailing label, greeting card etc)
Scans of envelopes with rejected stickers detailing reason for rejection
Scans of grievances from prisoners regarding the mail restrictions
If you are interested in potentially working with us around this issue, let the folks at Certain Days Calendar know, and they can reach out with info about their next meeting. Get in touch at: [email protected]
