when they go out to eat nene always orders off the kids menu because she doesn't like the adult options. actually the only person who doesn't order off the kids menu is tsukasa because he thinks it's embarrassing.

emu will sometimes just make cards for them, and slip it into their lunches. yes she breaks into the school to do this. no she has not gotten caught.

they play mario kart. tsukasa is the worst because he comes from a strictly wii sports and super smash bros house. nene and rui are the best bc they used to play together when they were little.

emu WOULD be a fucking beast at mk but she never focuses. ever.

rui is nb with he/they pronouns and nene is nb with she/they pronouns.

sometimes, after shows they'll go out and get ice cream

they perform an entire play to tell emu's older siblings that all of them are dating.

when they have sleepovers they all sleep on the floor. they seem like the type of people to do that idk

emu the mf to steal everyone's clothes

like at this point half the time she's just wearing their clothes.

they all take turns planning date nights

when it's rui's turn he usually chooses a night when the stage is closed, and make some sort of puzzle thing out of it. sometimes it's a murder mystery esque case, other times it's more like an escape room, ect ect ect.

emu's date nights usually include taking everyone around the theme park, or sometimes to other places like a park or something. it always ends with either ice cream or italian ice.

nene sometimes takes everyone out to an arcade, but she'll also organize a sleepover with them. whenever anyone talks about movies or musicals she adds it to a watch list, and rents them out to watch with them.

tsukasa probably takes them out to eat at a nice restaurant, but he'll also sometimes just do something small, like a walk or watching a local play.

"Len?"

Ward sat up on his bed slightly, biting his lip as he waited to see if his friend had heard him. He'd gone down for a rest- not a nap- and had been just laying down watching some cartoons. Honestly, if he wasn't feeling as sick as he was, he wouldn't have even agreed to the lay down.

Ward hesitated, debating if he should maybe call out for his friend again. He glanced down at his lap, at the darkened spot on both his pjs and bedsheets, and his face burned. He took a deep breath and tried to settle the fluttering in his stomach. He reached over and lifted Gale up, double checking to make sure she was dry and he hadn't messed her up too. Ward gave a sigh of relief to find that she was all well and good- even if he wasn't.

"Okay, um.. first things first. Gotta change." Ward mumbled to himself, deciding against calling out again. He was a big kid, he could do this. The feeling of wet pajamas was very uncomfortable as he moved, and he resisted the sniffle that he could feel bubbling up. Grabbing Gale, he shuffled over to the dresser and pulled out some new clothes- a pair of gray lounge pants and a well-worn hoodie.

He paused, biting his lip again as he stared at the boxers in the drawer. He'd need new underwear, of course but maybe boxers would be a bad choice again. But the closet his.. other underwear was in was across from the bathroom, and the wall storage was too creaky to be subtle. But maybe he could lie, and just say that he was putting something away?

"We're gonna have to go to the bathroom and wipe down a bit, Gale. You be look out," Ward said softly, pushing open the bedroom door and stepping out into the small hall of his quarters. Gently, he put Gale down in the middle of the hall and faced her towards the kitchen area where Bones was. Just like he'd expected, he heard Bones call out as soon as he creaked open the wall storage.

"Ward? That you?" His friend called, sounding as if he was about to get up and come over. Ward tried to think quickly and shouted back.

"Yeah but I'm just putting something away and then I'm going back to lay down! Also I'm usin' the potty!" He responded, snatching the first diaper he saw and diving into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. He took a deep breath, and set to his next task.

Ward tried not to think about the cold, wet feeling of his clothes as he peeled them off. He also tried to not think about how on earth he was going to manage changing the bed without Bones finding out, let alone getting rid of the messed up sheets. Ward's cheeks turned red again as he wet a washcloth in the sink, and he shut his eyes as he cleaned himself up.

"I'm a big kid. I'm a big kid." He repeated to himself, ignoring the slight sniffle that came with it. Finally, he was clean enough to dry off and then change, and-

And the diaper he'd grabbed was too small.

Ward stared at it, beyond dismayed. They'd accidentally gotten that one ages ago, but Ward had wanted to keep it because he liked the pattern. Now, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, because if Bones heard the storage opening again, he'd know something was up.

"Ward? Everything okay?" Ward's head snapped up at the soft sound of his friend's voice. He tried to think of an excuse quickly, but he'd been thrown off his game. Instead, he just sniffled.

"Can I come up, buddy?" Bones' voice was soft, and Ward could imagine the slightly worried expression on his face. Ward nodded, and then spoke up when he realized Bones needed a audible answer.

"Y-yeah."

Ward studied the tile floor of the bathroom as the door opened and Bones came in. It didn't take long at all for him to put together what happened, and he heard Bones let out a sympathetic sound.

"Poor darlin'. Why didn't you call for me?" Bones murmured softly, kneeling so he could look up at the regressor. Ward sniffled, and wiped at his eyes.

"I did, but b-but only once. I was a big kid, s-so I thought I could do it by myself," Ward's voice wobbled, and he sniffled again. Bones nodded, turning his attention to the wet towel.

"Did you need help getting cleaned up?"

"Mm-mmh. A'ready did. But um, but I grabbed a you-know-what, 'n it's the too small one." Ward pointed at the diaper he'd grabbed, and Bones nodded in understanding. He turned his attention back to the kid, his tone soft and comforting.

"Well, how about I go grab you another one, alright? And even if you're feelin' like a big kid, you can always raise a ruckus until I come if you need me." Bones reassured, pressing a quick kiss to Ward's forehead before he got up.

Ward nodded and watched as Bones crossed the hall to open the wall storage, grabbing a few choices and bringing them back. His cheeks flushed again as he pointed at the one he wanted- one with little clouds that turned into thunderclouds if he had another accident.

"You want help getting changed?"

"Mh-hmm." Ward nodded and leaned into Bones as the caregiver helped him into the diaper first, and then the lounge pants next. When Bones helped him into his hoodie, he couldn't help the giggle when Bones pretended to forget where he was before his head popped up.

"Len?" Ward whispered, sitting on the cover of the toilet as his caregiver took care of the messy clothes and the towel. He glanced over, raising an eyebrow. Ward shifted slightly, and put the tip of this thumb in his mouth, chewing the nail slightly.

"Yeah, buddy?"

"I messed th' bed too." Ward mumbled around the tip of his thumb, looking down at the floor again. There was a pause before he felt Bones lift his chin a bit so they were looking at each other.

"I'm very proud of you for tellin' me, Ward. I'll take care of it later, okay? Why don't you come and lay on the couch with me, hmm?"

Ward nodded, holding out a hand for Bones to take. The caregiver smiled fondly and took the hand, leading him out of the bathroom, stopping to let Ward grab Gale as they passed. In the living room, he settled down on the couch and let out an exaggerated "Oof!" as Ward laid on top of him. Ward giggled again at that, and rubbed his eyes with the sleeve of his hoodie.

"Alright, I'm putting on one of your cartoons, alright? Let's just lay down and relax until dinner," Bones hummed as he turned on the holo program from the bedroom. Ward nodded, resting his head on his caregivers chest. He still felt embarrassed, but it was comforting the way Bones never made a big deal out of it. He sighed, and settled in for another episode of the animal cartoon.

#NOW WERE GETTIN SOMEWHERE #now: to find out if the issues focusing are all bipolar or also adhd #and how the heck to get adhd meds thst dont ruin the help of the bipolar meds im trying #if these meds are even the ones but i have high hopes cause they work for mom! #THIS COULD BE IT #rambles #disabilities #i always suspected bipolar a little bit cause genetics but thought most likely not #suspected a lot MORE 2020 on as all the stress exacerbated symptoms #but i really didnt want it to be true #and now even looking back to being a kid #so many things clicking i feel so STUPID #its like realizin all my cryin & procrastinatin & feelin stuck doin things i hate wasnt me just bein lazy but mental health issues as a kid #realizing i might not be evil after all! im starting to think the switch might just be the worst nintendo console.

#like. sure it's gimmick is pretty unique. but i can count on like.
