Hakim

Birthday: May, 7th

Appearance: Hakim has all the looks from his father including his blank expression, although he's nothing but a sweet boy. Hakim has a lot of respect for his parents, and not surprisingly, he’s a very kind and noble kid. For some reason, he doesn't like to start talks but to observe people which it is, perhaps, another trait he took after his father. He loves drawing and reading books with pictures what makes you and Alhaitham buy him a lot of art materials and encyclopedias. Even when he becomes a bit old for his age, Hakim likes to listen his father or you reading for him before he goes to bed.

Nicknames: Kim, Love (you), Son (Alhaitham).

Trivia: He likes cats but he's allergic to them.

Aryan & Isaar

Birthday: November, 26th

Appearance: They’re very identical twins which till this day it causes a lot of trouble for people to identify them. The twins are a mix from both parents, though Cyno’s genes are favored a little bit more as they share the same skin tone, the red-orange eyes and not unironically the stoic face. Aryan is the quiet one while Isaar can be more social what makes the perfect balance between brothers. They’re respectful, kind and honest, but not so easily to trick. Aryan can be more judging than Isaar, if he doesn’t like someone he won’t hide it. They’re good friends with Hakim and Zahra. Both of them are very affectionate towards you, but they enjoy to spend their time with their dad as well.

Aryan’s nicknames: Ary (mostly you), Yan (only Isaar), Son, Kid (Cyno)

Isaar’s nicknames: Isa (mostly you), Izz (only Aryan), Son, Kid (Cyno)

Trivia: They hate sweets but love sour fruits. They created their own language which they use to communicate with each other when they are around strangers. Aryan is 7 minutes older than Isaar.

Kaedehara Kazumi

Birthday: March, 3rd

Appearance: Kazumi is nothing more than a perfect replica of his father, Kazuha. The boy received all the samurai's characteristics, barely leaving anything for your own genes. What differentiates them is the charming mole under your son's left eye, because even the calm and easygoing personality they share. Kazumi, however, tends to be mischievous and presumptuous which brings him troubles sometimes. Nonetheless, he's a loving and gentle kid; looking after his younger siblings, and listening and admiring you and Kazuha.

Nicknames: Zumi, Son, Kazu, Zuzu (mostly Kiyomi when she wants to annoy him)

Trivia: He’s ambidextrous.

Kaedehara Kiyomi

Birthday: October, 17th

Appearance: She definitely looks more like you, though Kazuha' characteristic features such as his crimson eyes and the red streak weren't left behind. However, your daughter is her own person as she is a very extroverted, charismatic and confident girl. She's pretty mischievous and she loves to play with Kazumi, but she can be very girly too as she adores quality times with you. She is a smart and strong type, not taking well to things she judges wrong. She deeply loves you and Kazuha, and cares for her brothers very well, mainly the youngest one.

Nicknames: Kiki, Sweetie girl (mostly Kazuha), Yomi, Kiyo

Kaedehara Haruki

Birthday: September, 21th

Appearance: Haruki is a beautiful mix of you and Kazuha. He has the same pale skin tone as his father, but his eyes shine like two jewels just like yours. As he was born sick, he is smaller than children of his age. Haruki is also very close to you and Kazuha as he rarely leaves the house, but he also likes to be included in his older siblings’ games. He’s a very shy and quiet boy, but he has a sweet and cute side that he shows to his family and some familiar faces. Haruki has a boxy smile that you and your family love very much, certainly his main charm.

Zahra

Birthday: August, 13th

Appearance: Zahra definitely looks more like her father, although her goldenish eyes remind her grandmother of her late husband. She’s a sweet, cheerful and a very friendly girl, being the extroverted one from all her friends. She’s curious and smart, preferring to play with puzzles and bricks over dolls. She absolutely loves her father and not surprisingly Kaveh is her favorite parent, although she loves you equally. Zahra has natural chubby and rosy cheeks and outsiders cannot help themselves but want to squeeze them — which it makes Kaveh go all overprotective. Overall, Zahra is a good girl and barely throw tantrums even being so pampered by her father or her rich aunt.

Corinne & Quentin

Birthday: December, 30th

Appearance: It's slightly noticeable their lilac-cat shaped eyes since they look so much like you. Even though Corinne and Quentin are identical twins, they've some physical differences if you take a close look, like Quentin being a inch taller than his sister or Corinne's cheeks being chubbier. Just like their father and aunt Lynette, the twins share the same personality’ difference as well. Although Quentin isn't as energetic as Lyney, he's the friendly and talkative twin while his sister is calm and reserved. They don't have a favorite parent, they love you and Lyney equally. The twins grew up surrounded by magic tricks and they absolutely adore when Lyney comes up with a new one.

Birthday: February, 4th

Appearance: She’s a very beautiful girl with the same white hair, draconian blue eyes and pointy ears as her father, but her facial features came from you. Éveline is a timid and soft-spoken girl and she tends to get easily nervous around unknown faces, hiding behind you or Neuvillette. She absolutely adores the Melusines and she gets along very well with Corinne. She's a little bit emotional but she knows she can run to you or her father if she gets overwhelmed by her own feelings. Éveline loves to cuddle with Neuvillette. As time pass by, she starts to be outdoors by herself a little bit more, whether enjoying nature or playing with animals.

Cameron

Birthday: June, 26th

Appearance: Cameron is a carbon copy of his father, not only in his looks but their likes and mannerisms are exactly the same. He’s more collected and quiet than Wriothesley. However, his personality easily changes under your caring and affection being more blushy and shy. He’s incredibly well-educated and respectful for his age, and he treats everyone the same regardless of their background or crimes. He’s very intelligent and he loves to play puzzles or create things. For a long time Cameron was the only child but neither you nor Wriothesley had doubts about how he’d react with a new family addition as he had shown to be a loving big brother already.

Nicknames: Sweetheart, Love, Baby boy, Cam, Buddy, Son (Wriothesley), Cammy (Marie)

Trivia: He loves tea but not without sugar.

Marie

Birthday: October, 9th

Appearance: She’s 14 years younger than Cameron and she’s the cutest girl in the world, according to her father and big brother. She looks more like you, but her icy blue eyes are a gift from her father. Marie is very innocent, sweet and empathetic. For some reason she's very small for her age, though she's a healthy and energetic girl. Marie is too precious and friendly for her own good so Wriothesley and Cameron feel like they cannot take their eyes off of her. You and your husband weren't trying to have a second kid, she came as a blessing that your family embraced with much joy.

Nicknames: Angel, Love (you), Mae (mostly Cameron), Princess (mostly Wriothesley), Sunshine, Baby girl

Trivia: Her first word was “Cam” and her favorite drink is almond milk.

author fun facts: marie is entirely based off maria from anime film "Koe no Katachi", and zahra' insects fear are sort of personal since i'm truly terrified of them. mainly butterflies.

I've been pretty positive about Yuu so far, but watching her magical girl story... hmm.

Basically I like everything about Yuu, but man that serial killer bit is the only thing that really sticks out as an overt bad choice. Having Nagisa stand around and watch Yuu kill people is such a weird choice, it feels more like fanfic than actual canon. Like this doesn't feel like something that could happen in Magia Record-- or hell, even in Madoka Magica either.

For example, Sayaka has a scene on a train where some dudes are being sexist assholes and it's left up to the viewer to decide if she kills them or not. It doesn't go: Sayaka killed them and also they were calling out for help the entire time while Madoka watched you know?

That said, this is something I can see in a bunch of the spinoffs (Kazumi, Oriko, Suzune), but I think everyone agrees that the spinoffs are of dubious quality. I love me the spinoffs but they're a hot mess.

I dunno. It's one thing to know that Yuu is a serial killer, it's another thing to have a character watch her go around and kill people and not intervene in any way. Especially in a story that goes out of its way to not do that. Walpy hitting Kamihama is noted to have no causalities at all (which goes a little too far in the other direction imo but it is what it is), Suzune isn't able to kill anyone in Kamihama and is dealt with by kicking her out (and not killing her), the deaths in arc 2 are mostly accidental and have massive consequences, everyone is forgiven in the end-- this isn't a story that really has "watch someone kill people and do nothing" in it's cards, you know?

I actually liked Nagisa's Wish for a lot of things. For example, I like that Nagisa didn't think she could be a magical girl until she saw Yuu, because she assumed that magical girls had to be good people-- aka, Nagisa did not think she was good. But that's not because Nagisa is a bad person. Nagisa is just unloved, and since she's a young kid, she's internalized that to mean that something is wrong with her, not that something is wrong with her mom. It's heartbreaking to see her go from "I can't be a magical girl," to seeing Yuu the murderer, to then going "oh okay if she can be a magical girl then so can I." Like sweet pea, your mother not loving you is not the same as being a killer. You've done nothing wrong. You are not a bad person for having Feelings and Emotions about the neglect you are experiencing.

However the serial killer/organ seller bit just goes too far for me and it kind of overshadows a lot of the better ideas present in Nagisa's Wish. Like how can you focus on the interesting ideas about justice or self worth when there is a serial killer/organ stealer walking around.

I think that the best qualities of Yuu are her design and how creepy she is-- having her actually go all the way and be a serial killer/organ seller actually makes her less creepy in my opinion. Yada yada, less is more, leave it up to the viewer's imagination. If she was just off, if we just knew that something was wrong with her and that people are disappearing but it's not outright stated what she's doing... I dunno. That would make her a lot more scary to me. A lot of fear can be found in apprehension and outright telling all the details will fill in too many gaps.

Like, the things that we all like about Yuu would be her voice direction, her memory issues, the way her Live2D is designed to be slightly off kilter from everyone else, the gap between her attitude and the darkness she engages in, the weird weaponry she uses and how it changes the way she walks/moves-- all of this is effective because it is offputting and different, not because the narrative is telling us "hey she kills people and sells their organs."

Basically I really love Yuu, but I do have some criticisms for her character and I understand why some folks don't like her.

That said, it did lead to this fantastic line from Kyubey so like,

You take some, you lose some.

Law's love for his son Forest and his desire to be rich to help him from his accident

it's about conflict, love, family, betrayal, desire, fighting spirit...Tekken is so much more.

Hot take regarding Heihachi Mishima and Reina.

I still find incredible the amount of mental gymnastics that male players do with justifying Heihachi Mishima and hating on Reina for no reason at all. Let me explain.

I think a lot of y´all either don´t have media literacy, critical thinking and love to justify straight up abusers.

The whole concept and take of " Heihachi been secretly the good guy because he was betrayed by Kazumi" makes me vomit. Since when a man been abusive towards his son, adopted son and grandson is justification for been "betrayed" by his wife in the past???? Like, are you insane.??

He was NEVER the good guy, like, EVER. He tortured and imprisoned his father Jinpachi Mishima, stole his conglomerate and rebuilt it as a mafia. He left his father to die and rot under Honmaru BEFORE Kazumi ever tried to kill him. Jinpachi was long gone before that. I bet you, Heihachi doing that is what triggered the gene in Kazumi. As far as we know the Hachijou´s do not kill for nothing. They get rid of threats to humanity. Kazumi was doing her job, trying to save the rest of the world before Heihachi got more powerful.

He killed her, tried to kill his son Kazuya, and when he survived he made his life a living hell. Got rid of both his grandad and mom, adopted Lee Chaolan for the sole purpose of making him a rival to Kazuya. Not letting them develop a normal healthy sibling relationship, but just making them hate each other.

Wang Jinrei (Xiao´s grandpa) knew him since he was a kid and told us in Tekken 5 that he has ALWAYS been an asshole.

He kidnapped Michelle Chang and stole her necklace relic to resurrect and control Ogre to gain power to himself.

He manipulated Jin, trained him and brought him to fight ogre like a pig before the slaughter house. And you justify this guy????? He killed his grandson too.

Just say that you love abusers, that´s it. Is infuriating.

Heihachi probably also lying to the journalist is the cherry on top.

He had zero feelings to Kazuya even as a baby "his mother was specially doted on him", no shit Sherlock, Kazumi WAS HIS MOTHER. Of course she is going to love him.

He hooked up with Lars mom (and with multiple ones) only to prove if he had or could have a devil gene too. Abandoning countles of kids that we don´t know yet, all over the world.

And the Reina situation just makes me remember Tekken 3 all over again.

I´m 100% sure he also manipulated her, she is probably a test tube baby, raised and brainwashed by him, spoiling her (she seems to know everyone on Tekken and has a lot of money) , she doesn´t have anything against him because she is a girl and we know Heihachi has a soft spot for girls. She doesn´t know the whole story, she is probably only 21 or 22, in her mind he was the perfect father and Jin and Kaz were just overreacting or were evil. He treated her right, gave everything to her, covering up his multiple crimes and abuse towards his family. So please, do not hate on her, we don´t know her side of the story but is probably going to be sad as well.

Heihachi neglected all his male sons, adopted ones and grandkid. He is not a "heartbroken man", he was an abuser. Period.

Its so bizarre to me how they portray Heihachi as nothing but a petty, vindictive, cruel, power-hungry asshole who delights in his assholish behavior for like 8 games (and two animated movies) straight, having him do some incredibly evil things like:

CHUCKING HIS 5 YEAR OLD SON OFF A CLIFF (AND NO HARADA THERE IS NO WAY IN ANY UNIVERSE YOU CAN JUSTIFY IT)

Adopting an orphan boy just to mess with his son while treating him just as badly.

Having Michelle Chang's father murdered.

Imprisoning his father under Hon-Maru to take over the company and restart its war profiteering and arms dealing.

Using Jin as bait to lure out Ogre and then mercilessly shooting his own grandson in the head after Ogre's defeat.

Tried to kill and take both Kazuya and Jin's devil powers for himself.

Fathered a bunch bastard kids and then abandoning them.

Not to mention the horrible shit he gleefully does in the non-canon endings.

And then in Tekken 7 they do a 180 and paint HIM, of all people, as the sympathetic one of the whole conflict. Trying to justify his actions, having him shed a tear at the mention of Kazumi's death (instead of Kazuya being the one to do so) and Harada's infamous tweet where he states that Heihachi "just looks evil but he's true to himself".

Like, what the fuck. I know Heihachi is Harada's favourite character, but for fuck's sake, at least own the fact that Heihachi is an evil piece of shit. Part of what made Heihachi a fun character was because of how much he enjoyed being a POS. Trying to paint him as this hurting warrior who tried to protect the world from the devils is such a bullshit retcon move that doesn't work.

(don't get me started on Tekken 8's story where everybody is cool with Jin and how his Devil Form was actually "just trying to protect him this whole time uWu")

GENERAL RECS: - nraas MasterController is needed to put multiple accessories in the same location and to add more face/body sliders to your game but it has a shitton of other useful features too. - OneEuroMutt various facial and body sliders, i have the alien/ body/ amputee sliders but the rest might also be of interest.
