Narancia was falsely accused of a crime, went to juvenile because of it, his father never showed any love, disowned, and he got a horrible eye disease. Well Bucci found him in the streets, took him to a proper doctor, and got his eye cured. Abbacchio was a cop that wanted to be completely pure and guided himself by justice. But the city he worked in was very corrupt, so one day he decided to take a bribe. Well the criminal who gave him the bribe was later found guilty of killing 2 people and told about how Abbacchio took a bribe from him. Abbacchio was seen as a dirty cop and was unemployed. He turned to alcohol and usually wandered the streets. Well Bucci found him, and helped him become better. Abbacchio joined his gang too. Fugo was a perfect son. He was extremely gifted and was born into a rich family. Now this may seem like the dream but his parents never showed him love. He was only treasured because of his intelligence. He was so smart, he was able to go to college at 13. Well while he was there, his professor repeatedly SA him. One day, his professor came to him, and Fugo beat the man with a encyclopedia in an act of self defense. He was disowned by his parents and lived in streets for 2 years. Bucci found him, and let him join his gang. Trish is the daughter of the most powerful mafia boss in Italy. Because of this, she was hunted down by her father and La Squada( they’re a group of gangsters that want to take down such boss). Her father hunted her down because he wanted to killed her to keep his identity a secret. Well Bucci gang protected her and is a part of it. Mista was a regular dude. Always had an optimistic look on life. So one day, he saw a woman almost getting r@ped in a car and decided to shoot the r@pists. Well in court, he was ruled a murderer and not an act of self defense. Bucci got him out and he joined his gang. Lastly, Giorno was a gangster that wanted to eradicate drugs being sold to minors. So he joined the Bucci gang. Giorno was neglected by his mother as a child and was beaten by his step dad. Bucci himself was never really loved by his father. Now the Bucci gang is essentially just Bucci trying to take care of some confused teenagers and a gothic depressed man.

I could go on for a long time, but they were all somehow rejected by society for mental health issues, classism, abuse, and saw each other's worth.

La Squadra as BTS members

A/N: inspired by @timetowritefic 's LS as idols post since I've been an army for a while now and wanted to see my two fav things together so I thought of this lolol. Even if anyone is unfamiliar with BTS I hope the roles/tropes of each members match up well.

Risotto: This a no-brainer, he's obviously and undeniably Namjoon. I mean big tit leader? Philosophical and articulate but also awkward and gigantic. It fits almost too perfectly. And Namjoon has recently been working out making him buff like Ris. I can also see Ris being the one behind the profound messages that LS gives with their music, given he's the leader. Also... Risotto as a rapper is a concept. His deep voice sounds gorgeous when he’s rapping or singing. Not the best dancer of the groups but he’s got moves he worked very hard on. He's definitely the one that does all the live streaming explaining LS music in depth to fans and making sure their message and intent behind every song is understood. Posts outfits under #RisottoDaily or some other hashtag with all the goth outfits he can come up with and writes long ass letters to fans in social media to thank them for support. There’s probably edits of LS pictures with his poetic quotes. Probably into cute hobbies like bonsai trees and woodworking like Namjoon and is shy when acting cute for fans. Has a gothic black and white themed studio like Namjoon’s from 2015/16, recommends some of the most interesting books where he got some song writing insp (btw his lyrical wordplay? otherworldly)

Prosciutto: I think the general consensus is that he would be Jin, since Jin is the oldest and thus everyone's "older brother." However, Seokjin acts much younger around the other members and has much more energy than Pros. But you know whose a big brother AND an absolute grandpa like ham here? Yoongi. Whenever they go to vacation it's always Yoongi doing the cooking, cleaning, finances etc. Prosci not only does all that but definitely acts as their dad. Does immaculate production for LS music and definitely was an underground rapper/producer before LS. Reviews LS albums and shares anecdotes from the studio or how the songs were produced. Fans give him 937123 different nicknames (pros, prosci,old man, old ham, ham gramps etc) and compare him to cats all the time, he doesn’t understand. Absolute savage when he needs to be and doesn't hesitate to call a single member out on anything. Especially if it’s in a game show or variety show, he’s competitive. Usually reserved but when it comes to lyrics he's calling ppl out left and right. People that bias him are just as a mean and if they have beef with other band’s fans they’ll be roasting other groups with no remorse. SUGA 93′ but make it PROSCIUTTO ‘76 if you know, you know...

Pesci: JUNGKOOK. I do not make the rules, the youngest most talented and precious member the maknae! We know Pesci has potential and he sure does demonstrate his talents as an idol. They're both shy and may be prone to underestimate themselves but when they're actually given the chance to show what they can do they'll never disappoint! Plus they're both definitely sport / gym buffs lol. Pesci getting into random sports every few months like bowling and boxing. He's also relentlessly hard working and always improving his talents in singing, dancing, rapping literally anything. Also posts a lot of covers of songs on LS website. Doted on by all the older LS members he's honestly got them all wrapped around his lil finger. When he says "bro" all 6 members turn to him thinking he's addressing them personally. Randomly changing his hair color as he sees fit like one day you wake up and BAM blonde!Pesci. Tries his hand at producing with the help of Prosciutto and Risotto, those two are pretty much his music inspiration. Whenever in interviews they ask which musician he looks up to he always says Prosciutto LOL. Just like everything else, his self produced music is also really impressive and it only gets better with each song he writes. Probably joined the company at a very young age like during his early teen years.

Formaggio: I think Formaggio is the actual Seokjin of LS. He's older so also a big brother but the "fun" big brother that gets along with everyone and isn't afraid to do something goofy in front of others to bring up the mood and make it less awkward if they're doing a show. He also surprisingly gives really good advice to the other members when they need to hear it. Also developed his voice over the years and wasn't someone with a lot of experience in the actual industry but grew skilled over time with both dancing and singing. Fans absolutely love both his self written amd cover songs. The group's video game player like Seokjin and probably has a zillion Mario figurines like Jin too lol. He jokes around on live stream or does mukbang and they're always super funny but also heartfelt. Somehow always drinking on live stream, especially with Melone. He's always joking around with the younger members the most (especially Pesci!) and has really good relationships with them. Does what he wants and may get into trouble with the managers like shaving his head out of nowhere. His self produced songs are surprisingly soft and full of emotion talking about very personal struggles that he has a hard time opening up about but they’re also upbeat.

Illuso: Maybe it’s the Michael Jackson stand, maybe it’s that he’s go dancer energy but he’d be Hoseok. Now Hobi is usually like the literal sunshine mood maker and while that doesn’t sound like Illuso, I think he’d actually be a very warm and charming presence in the group. He started out as an underground dancer who looked up to several rappers. LS was a gateway for him to become the dancer he wished to be. He choreographs almost every LS song by himself with the help of the in-house choreographers from their company. Fans are enraptured by his stage presence and performances! He’s truly a dance king and can show a lot of emotion with his body. Additionally, LS helped him become comfortable with finding his own style of rap. With Risotto and Prosciutto both being familiar with underground rap, they work together with Illuso to create a foundation for LS music and gives it a distinct style and sound that fans can recognize from the first beat. Most definitely has his own mixtape that he worked super hard on taking insp from his fav artists (Michael Jackson ofc) and it was an iconic commercial success. He even did a bunch of solo music videos and the rest of La Squadra were there to support him on set.

Melone: Known for his sensual moves and flexible dancing, he's definitely the Jimin of the group. He's sentimental plus charming and is always telling fans how much he loves them or sharing stories about the rest of the group and their activities when they’re too busy to update. Always posts on everyone’s birthday to wish them and if the fans start a hashtag to support a member’s birthday he joins in. Later they find out he got them all super special gifts. He’s also lowkey a prankster if they’re doing a game show he might want to annoy Ghiaccio and sabotage his chances of winning just for fun. Their banter makes the shows that much more enjoyable. He has a special dynamic with almost all of the members so the fans love all the interactions he has with every one of them. He’s actually pretty inspirational when it comes to talking about LS music and his passion for dancing and the arts. Looks absolutely flawless in every photoshoot, he’s the ‘it boy’ of the group. When people think of LS as a band they think “Melone and his band” LOL. Probably has his name trending on twitter allll the time. he can make any LS song sound super light and airy with his voice so he works on the songs which are the mostt lighthearted and sensual. However, he’s also been working on much darker themed songs to show fans a different side of himself.

Ghiaccio: Ghiaccio gets assigned Taehyung by process of elimination but we can work with this. Ghiaccio is a vocal powerhouse with a unique voice that attracts a lot of the fans. His friendship with Melone definitely attracts fans too because they're always doing something goofy together. His original intent with joining was to sing and act but eventually grew his talents in dancing tremendously. Has immaculate style and airport fashion so fans are always trying to find what he’s wearing and more often than not it’s some expensive brand, especially his shoes which he changes up a lot. He can hit really clean high notes and makes up a lot of the backing vocals and ad libs for their songs. He’s also very creative with the camera and a lot of the times works closely with Pesci to take photos (another one of Pesci’s hobbies). They’ve spoken about directing music videos in the future. Also makes solo music and wants to release a mixtape sometime in the future, wants to act as well, he has lots of ambitions that are possible because he’s a members in LS. He’s worked hard and patiently wants to take care of one goal at a time. Also gets embarrassed about doing cute acts in front of fans and they love to see him blush or get red from doing fanservice lol. Has a LOT of energy in concerts along with Formaggio, and Melone.

Special Case of Sorbet and Gelato: since there are only 7 members in the actual group it's hard to fit these two in. However, they can totally be the two famous BTS producers PDOGG and Slow Rabbit lolol. They're part of the geniuses behind La Squadra's best hits. Cried when LS got their first big award, posts demos and sneak peeks to songs on IG and is on like every single artist credit list for their songs pretty much. Releases remixed versions of LS songs and fans are always like “WHY WASN’T THIS IN THE ALBUM?” Known for their incredible beats that fans always try to deconstruct to find new meanings for LS music.

Illuso was the first new recruit after La Squada was initially created.

His reason for joining was calculated and business like - He wasn’t as emotionally driven as some of the others. Working in the mafia was a profitable endeavor. Illuso knew that and wanted in. He already had a loose moral compass (though he wasn’t one to act on it constantly like Formaggio), so the thought of committing crimes didn’t faze him much.

There was a very clear divide between the initial 4 (explained here) and Illuso. He was new to their group, and they had a lot of trouble relating to him. The issue arose mostly from the fact that Illuso didn’t really care enough to try being pals. He didn't come into Passione for Friday nights at the bar or shared dinners. He was there to work. That mind set created a barrier between himself and the other’s.

The issue of distance between him and the rest of La Squadra persisted until Formaggio was recruited (more on that). The redhead was just excited to be part of a gang - and not great at reading atmospheres to begin with. He just wanted to be buddy-buddy with everyone. Eventually he broke through and really started to bond with Illuso, even if it was though sheer, blunt, force of will.

Formaggio became a bridge between Illuso and the rest of the group. After that, welcoming others in became less difficult.
