I’m in the middle of watching Love Alarm 2 (still in ep 3) and I literally don’t get why everyone is still so hung up on Sun Oh, because watching this season made me remember on how freaking toxic he is. First of all their first kiss? It was done without Jojo’s consent right? Like he literally just immediately went forward and kissed her (correct me if I’m wrong)? And he is soo possessive. When Sun Oh met Jojo in that event and saw her talking to Brian Chon about the shield, and he immediately went “YOU STILL LIKE ME” like BOI,,, STOP GETTING HUNG UP ON YOUR FIRST LOVE

Hyeyeong, meanwhile, is a literal CUTIE, HOW DO PEOPLE NOT SHIP THEM?? Even without knowing that Jojo will end up with Hyeyeong in the end anyways I would still ship them. They’re literally soooo cute. Without the existence of this app, they are the perfect couple. Speaking of which, I would absolutely HATE IT if love alarm was an actual app irl. If that exists I’d simply just not download it, like the mess it causes? That app is wild, like why would people want to show that they like this person in front of EVERYONE?? If I installed that app on my phone (which I probably won’t), I would just keep my phone on silent the whole time.

7)-Chame Atenção: Alguma vez na vida você leu um livro, viu um filme ou uma série e achou o plot bem ruinzinho, ou sem graça? Faça uma capa baseada nesse plot e tente torná-lo interessante. A missão aqui é fazer algo que com certeza chamaria a sua atenção.

Notas: Bem, sendo sincero, a capa toda já entrega o que eu achei ruim. A segunda temporada de Love Alarm não foi tão legal como eu imaginei que fosse, até porque, tudo foi bem diferente e tá na cara o óbvio, eu queria que a Jojo ficasse com o Sunoh, mas acontece nea, por isso, lhes trago a minha capa, onde eu imagino que não tenha chamado tanto a atenção do público, mas pelo menos eu tentei. Essa capa era para ser uma capa Clean, mas ela acabou de tornando metade metade, sendo assim, mais Dark do que Clean. Na minha versão que eu trouxe para vocês, eu tenho "O Palácio da Lua" onde Sunoh e Hye-Yeong são os Príncipes deste imenso palácio, onde ambos acabam se apaixonando pela Jojo, uma mera Plebeia que foi acusada como ladra, mandada ao calabouço do Palácio. Hye-Yeong, odiava ver a sua amada, mas para ele, a lei era justa e tinha que fazer o certo, enquanto por outro lado, Sunoh soltava a sua amada daquela prisão suja e juntos, caminhavam pelo belo jardim do Palácio, observando as estrelas da bela noite que estrelada. O menino estava perdidamente apaixonado pela mulher, não se importando com mais nada, quebrando as regras do palácio e deixando a Coroa para o seu irmão mais novo, podendo fugir para bem longe com Jojo, para que pudessem se casar e formar uma linda família.

Why Hye-yeong

TLDR; Me discovering Love Alarm and being pleasantly surprised by the endgame(!) and I know many of you are disappointed, but I love Jo-jo and she deserves buckets and buckets of pure love and happiness, and IMO, she’s better off with Hye-yeong.

Here’s why, the shorter version. (Yes, really.)

One. Hye-yeong loves Jo-jo just because. He doesn’t expect and doesn’t ask anything in return. He’s happy just because he can show her that he loves her.

Zero possessiveness. He’s never demanding, he just offers his love freely. Look how happy he is back on season 1, just being able to ring Jo-jo’s alarm repeatedly with his bike, while she obviously doesn’t and says that she probably will never ring his alarm back.

Hye-yeong: “You don't have to like me back just because I like you.”

Jo-jo: “How’s that fair to you?"

Hye-yeong: “I just wanted you to know how I feel."

On S02E04, even after Jo-jo disappears from his "will love you" list, Hye-yeong sees that it's raining and he sends her a text: "It's raining all of a sudden. Did you bring an umbrella? Should I pick you up when you're done?" And even later on, he still smiles the same smile as he notices her there with the yellow umbrella. He continues to ring her alarm again and again that evening, fulfilling his 10x/day quota, even though he's actually really distressed himself.

There are really too many to list here, but you’ve got the point, right?

Two. Hye-yeong’s the epitome of being patient. He freaking waits four(!) years after Jo-jo and Sun-oh’s break-up before making his move.

On one hand, he’s such a frustrating guy. (Get moving already!) But on the other hand, the way his love is still so strong and unwavering for years is 💕💕💕

Three. Even from season 1, Hye-yeong makes Jo-jo hopes again.

Jo-jo: “Thanks to a single person who’s ringing my Love Alarm right now, I now have hope that I can be happy. One is bigger than any other number in the world.”

Love and relationship is not only about passion, but also commitment. Conscious effort that one continues to choose the other again and again despite everything. So, the fact that Jo-jo herself says this is 🤩

Jo-jo: “Hye-yeongie is a warm and kind guy. I want to try my best.”

Four. And on season 2, Jo-jo learns how to love because Hye-yeong shows her how.

Jo-jo notices that he’s struggling even though he says that he’s fine. She ties his necktie for him and says this: “I’m good at it now, right? I can do it now because you taught me.”

And she’s not only talking about the necktie, but also recalling to the moment when Hye-yeong does the same thing to her back on season 1.

This is such a contrast with Sun-oh, who’s starved for love himself. Sun-oh’s also still learning how to love someone properly: how to put their feelings and needs above his own, know when to let go of his pride, how to trust and be gentle.

Five. Hye-yeong also shows her how to heal (though unconsciously).

Jo-jo: “People act two different ways when they’re hurt. People who cover up and hide the wound and let it fester. People who show their wounds and grow like trees.”

But I want to stress this. Jo-jo grows and makes peace with many things from her past on her own. She has her own power, always does. But it is also Hye-yeong’s presence and his support throughout their relationship, that I believe gives her the boost. She has such stable and strong support system in the form of Hye-yeong now.

Six. Last but not least, they’re so secure with their feelings, that they don’t need the confirmation from the app anymore, at the end. Jo-jo’s log data is such a sweet throwback to all of their moments, yes, but character-wise, they both just shrug if off when their attempt to view the data is apparently unsuccessful.

mmh i'd rather have hyeyeong with jojo! both of them are mature but sunho, even after the 4years jump, isn't. i mean the way he talks to hyeyeong when he finds out hyeyeong still loves her and is planning on seducing her/flirting with her is just unacceptable. the way he said that hyeyeong used him all these years while he never did like? where did hyeyeong used sunho? hyeyeong was always there for him, even after sunho kissed jojo whereas sunho knew hyeyeong loves her. and when did we see sunho be that kind of friend to hyeyeong? as said, the relationship between hyeyeong and jojo has been built differently, they're taking their time to know each other (when they're in the little café and are asking about their name, for example), which is something that never really occurred with sunho, they started their relationship with a kinda weird kissed in an alley where sunho tried so hard to make her change her mind about one kiss, he was talking about her lips and she was not really at ease (that's how it felt). sunho is kinda selfish imo, him asking jojo to make hyeyeong's alarm ring (when they're in sunho's car) when he doesn't have a word to say about it, and it shows on jojo's expression that she's kinda annoyed. him asking hyeyeong to make jojo's alarm ring when they were still in high schooll, just because he wanted to know if hyeyeong loved jojo. him again, asking to follow jojo while both hyeyeong and sunho are in the car. i mean, he was so pushy and never considered hyeyeong's feelings. tbh, i think that if sunho never knew that his bestfriend had a crush on her, he would never have saw her and would never have fallen in love with her. he never thought twice about dating her and about hyeyeong's feelings. i mean, he's supposed to be hyeyeong's bestfriend, and he knows that he loves her even if hyeyeongs says he doesn't. help him out instead of breaking his heart, talk to jojo about hyeyeong, introduce him to her, let them talk and have a relationship (a friendly one), and after that if she doesn't love him and develops feelings towards sunho, then that's okay. but it didn't happen, they didn't really know each other. and that's when we saw hyeyeong was and is still is the mature one. and the considerate one. 'cause he's taking into account his best friend's feelings and jojo's feelings and decides to back off. for those saying that "yeah but jojo loved sunho when they were younger and never loved hyeyeong", RIGHT, but her and hyeyeong didn't really know each other back then, they were just coworkers and never really spoke to one another. they could have if sunho tried to help his best friend but instead, he decided to pursue the girl while knowing hyeyeong was in love with her. and now that he's trying to do something about it and confessed to her, sunho is like "bRO, you know what she did to mE hOW dARE You" whereas hyeyeong never said a thing to what sunho did 4 years before because yeah, sunho loved her too and hyeyeong knew he didn't have the right to say something about his feelings, as he said to one guy "you love who you love" (well, he didn't say it that way but you know what i'm talking about). and now that he has the opportunity to say his feelings to jojo because sunho has a gf, sunho still thinks he has a word to say to hyeyeong and that, that's something i don't find cool not mature especially with the way he says it and how he is full of bitterness and reproaches towards hyeyeong. anyway all these lines just to say that hyeyeong would be better for jojo and jojo would be better for hyeyeong

PERSONALIDADE:

Provavelmente Muk Hyeyeong será uma das pessoas mais fáceis de ler e compreender que você conhecerá em sua vida. É que, para o garoto, o mundo já é tão complicado, não custa nada ser um pouco mais acessível quando se trata de seu comportamento e/ou personalidade, certo? Ou talvez seja apenas uma ligeira desculpa para a sua lerdeza tão natural, quanto é recorrente.

É que assim, permita-me explicar: o que Hyeyeong tem de inteligente (e vá por mim, o garoto se tornou um estudante tão esforçado e dedicado, que se destaca facilmente com o cérebro que tem – para tanto que, até hoje, ninguém entendeu como ele reprovou um ano, muito menos ele, boatos que por influência das amizades), ele tem de lerdo. Pensa em um cérebro que demora a registar e processar informações? Esse é o de Yeong, com toda certeza – deve ser por isso que os amigos lhe vivem passando a perna.

E por falar em amigos... Ninguém sabe muito bem o que o garoto faz no meio daquela “gangue de delinquentes juvenis” (apelido carinhoso que ganharam graças a umas coisas... Bom, não vamos falar disso agora), é que entre todos, ele é o que aparenta ser mais calmo, quieto e consciente, mas só aparenta mesmo, diga-se de passagem. O Muk pode até ser o grande amor da vida das ahjummas e se comportar na escola, entregando suas atividades e tarefas em dia, devido ao senso de responsabilidade que possui, mas pensa em um rapaz falante e arteiro na ausência de adultos responsáveis, principalmente na ausência do irmão mais velho. Fora o fato de ser extremamente expressivo: o que ele não falar com a boca, provavelmente será dito com seu corpo e expressões faciais, talvez até sons, já que ele não consegue se controlar. De jeito nenhum.

Porém, apesar de tudo, o estudante é um tanto desconfiado e reservado, então, dificilmente sairá contando sobre sua vida pessoal ou seus segredos para alguém que não faça parte do seu círculo social (principalmente se essa pessoa for tipo... 20+), chegando a ser um tanto superficial quando fala sobre si mesmo, preferindo manter tudo em panos quentes. Além do mais, fez um pacto de segredo com sua gangue: o que foi feito em Wangshu, morre em Wangshu e só eles podem saber o que está rolando.

Outro ponto que vale ressaltar é o quanto o rapaz leva em consideração todos os valores que aprendeu com sua família, desde a questão da boa educação, gentileza e agir com formalidades com os mais velhos, até a questão de ter sua autonomia e independência. O que não significa que não possa vir a ser malcriado quando achar que deve. Sem contar o quanto é encrenqueiro e ligeiramente agressivo, podendo embarcar em uma discussão com certa facilidade, principalmente se for para ajudar um amigo. Também é um pouco bruto com suas amizades, agredindo-os sempre que lhe fazem perder a paciência ou lhe provocam (mas tudo com muito amor e carinho envolvido, até porque, faz isso sorrindo), aliás, adora uma brincadeira de lutinha. E aí? Vai encarar?

JUSTIFICATIVA:

A família de Hyeyeong com toda certeza deve ser uma das famílias mais antigas de Wangshu, contribuindo desde sempre na economia local com o negócio familiar: a Pensão Muk, lar para todo o tipo de gente, mas principalmente para universitários que não têm onde ficar e precisam economizar uma boa quantidade de dinheiro.

Filho de Muk Nanhee e Lee Seunghyun, o estudante não chegou a ter o privilégio – se é que podemos chamar dessa forma – de se afeiçoar ao seu progenitor, visto que, aos dois anos de idade, o viu saindo pela porta de casa para nunca mais voltar. Não que se lembre de muita coisa, claro, apenas sabe o suficiente para não ter desenvolvido qualquer tipo de apego emocional ou curiosidade em relação ao homem até os dias atuais. Acabou que cresceu como Lee Hyeyeong e cercado apenas (e isso, mais do que suficiente) pela mãe, avó e o irmão mais velho, com os três sempre lhe protegendo e ensinando tudo o que fosse necessário fazer. Via sempre uma quantidade absurda de carinho e amor sendo depositados nos esforços das duas mulheres, que pareciam lutar para garantir que nada faltasse aos dois mais novos. Já com Hyesung, não demorou muito para reconhecer neste uma figura de super-herói, desejando ser como ele quando fosse maior, depois disso, foi impossível não reconhecer no irmão mais velho o pai que nunca teve e é fato: Yeong o respeita por completo, obedecendo às suas ordens com prontidão. Menos quando se trata de seus melhores amigos, mas isso são detalhes, certo?

Tratando-se de sua infância não tão distante assim, não havia outra palavra para descrevê-la se não: caótica. A questão era que seu desenvolvimento tinha tudo para ser o mais tranquilo e perfeito possível, mas acabou se tornando um tal de “Vou contar até três pra você sumir da minha frente, Lee Hyeyeong!” daqui ou um “LEE HYEYEONG, EU VOU ACABAR COM A SUA RAÇA!” dali e ainda um “O que eu faço com esse menino?” acolá. E você pensa que eram frases apenas ditas por sua mãe? Engana-se totalmente.

Ao menos tinham um consolo em relação ao menino: ele se demonstrava um tanto quieto e comportado, chegando a ser comparado com um príncipe, porém, isso só ocorria quando estava na presença de adultos e na ausência de suas amizades. Não que ele fosse atentado, ao contrário, era muito difícil o encontrar realmente fazendo alguma coisa errada, mas acontece que por andar com o que julgam como “má companhia”, acabava levando bronca e culpa pelas coisas que aconteciam meio que... De graça. Isso quando não era o único culpado por algo que nem fez, apenas por ser um tanto lerdo, bobão e demorar para processar o que estava realmente acontecendo – sabe aquela criança que você grita “corre”, mas ela continua parada tentando entender por que tem que correr? Então, essa criança é o Yeong.

Outro consolo que possuíam era o fato do wangshuer ser um tanto dedicado em seus estudos, o esforço era visível em suas notas e suas colocações tanto na sala de aula, quanto na escola como um todo, sempre sendo destaque e recebendo elogios por sua inteligência. Não chegava a ser um prodígio, muito menos um gênio, longe disso, só tem até hoje um senso de responsabilidade enorme em relação ao seu aprendizado. Para si, é uma forma de recompensar os esforços de sua família em relação à sua pessoa.

É por isso que até hoje não entende como foi que repetiu um dos anos escolares, aliás, nem preciso dizer que isso foi um rebuliço na Pensão Muk, não é? Uma loucura, mas papo para outra hora. De qualquer forma, acabou pegando um castigo de meses para sua conta e passou a ficar marcado entre professores e alunos como o “sonso” e “delinquente”. Sim. Delinquente. E ele continua achando isso uma tremenda ofensa.

PRESENTE:

Faz pouco tempo que o rapaz, ao lado do irmão, mudou o nome de batismo deixando de assinar suas coisas como Lee Hyeyeong, passando a assumir o sobrenome da mãe e se tornando um Muk. Não que ele tenha entendido muito bem o que aconteceu, mas aparentemente foi um lance meio “por que devemos carregar esse sobrenome?”, de qualquer forma, ele pelo menos sabe que tem sentido. Continua sendo um estudante de ensino médio, porém e infelizmente, ainda em seu penúltimo ano – e toda vez que pensa nisso, sente um gosto amargo na boca e uma frustração enorme. Trabalha na pensão sempre que pode, apenas para ajudar a avó e a mãe, mas mantém empregos de meio período sortidos e temporários como atendente de caixa e garçom em estabelecimentos pequenos ou babá de animais e crianças, afinal, dinheiro nunca é demais.

É possível encontrá-lo vira e mexe na Cold Recipe ou no Costa Coffee, pois são lugares que ele e sua gangue vivem fazendo de ponto de encontro ou que Hyesung simplesmente manda ele ir. O motivo é segredo. Também adora ir para a praia, apesar de não ser o maior fã de areia, e visitar o campus da WUN, apenas para se sentir O estudante universitário que ele ainda não é.

DESEJOS:

Ultimamente tem tido umas ideias de se tornar YouTuber ou TikToker, apenas para ver se consegue uma graninha extra e quem sabe ficar famoso, se outros conseguiram, ele também pode, certo? Mas a ideia não passa de um pequeno projeto, pois tem medo de seu irmão acabar com sua graça que mal se iniciou – porque sim, já sofreu ameaças e está quase levantando uma plaquinha de SOS na janela do quarto que dividem. Em resumo: não sabe muito o que quer para o futuro, na realidade, ainda divaga bastante sobre isso. A única coisa que sabe é que: blogueirinho ou não, vai acabar encarando um curso universitário, não importa qual, desde que seja um que ele goste. O objetivo maior é trazer orgulho para sua família. Também e totalmente diferente de muitos jovens da sua idade, não sente a menor vontade de abandonar a ilha para morar em outro país, porque ama Wangshu e não se vê morando em outro lugar – no fim das contas, quem sabe não acabe abrindo seu próprio negócio? Nunca se sabe.
