There's just something so incredibly endearing about Nick's reaction when he finds out that the fact that he speaks French is attractive to Charlie.
Because at first he is actually surprised, which is surprising in and of itself. After all, most people know speaking French is considered attractive, right?
But Nick's been speaking French for years, he didn't exactly learn it to be more appealing to anyone, it's just part of who he is... someone like Ben, say, would probably be aware by now of the "seductive power" of something like that, and he would definitely take advantage of it. Nick just... never thought of it in that way, and he actually has to connect the dots when his boyfriend looks at him all blushing and flustered after hearing him talk to his dad? I mean, Look at him!!!
He's not smug or fake-humble about it, if anything he's confused? But also a little amazed, that something so normal about himself could fluster Charlie like that... and he doesn't quite get it, but he's just so giddy about it, about the fact that him doing something so normal in his life could be attractive to Charlie!! His favorite person and the only one whose opinion about that kind of stuff matters!!! And so he just takes it in stride and starts teasing Charlie about it, and... idk man, it's just so cute.

Dazai the kind of person to find Chuuya beautiful even when he's covered entirely in blood and scars, or when wrinkly and old, but still say he's as ugly as ever with a big fat lovesick lopsided smile.
Chuuya the kind of person to hear his bullshit, understand the hidden meaning, smile exasperatedly because this bastard can't be honest for the life of him, then say that Dazai doesn't look bad himself.
Then Dazai grows redder than a tomato, and continues spouting insults at Chuuya, who just enjoys his wine.

Lisa Frankenstein is awesome because it's one of the few movies I've experienced in real time knowing I was part of the target demographic. Being an awkward stoic darkly dressed odd teenager. Being a kid who grew up adoring all things goth and 80's because of my mom. Being a kid who grew up learning how to sew of my own accord and loving the morbid idea of transferable skills of sewing flesh instead of fabric. Someone who loved writing and never really hung out with people unless I was forced because I just didn't know how or didn't want to. Loved films like Heathers and Corpse Bride and all adjacent but despising how they all ended, always taking the Creation's side in a Frankenstein retelling. Walking around cemeteries with my mom and visiting graves that looked abandoned because she never liked anyone being forgotten. Romanticizing dirt and bugs and death and the silly "victorian boy" ideas. Wanting your one soulmate (platonic or romantic) to just somehow fall into your life. Adoring the idea of willingly and without hesitation killing for one another in a life that needed it, and to be so gentle and tender with one another despite it.
Seeing the Creature sit down on the floor dejected, Lisa following him and timidly talking, and being taken back to watching Peter Pan (2003) one to many times, knowing eventually she'll stitch new life and love into him like I've always yearned to do for that someone.

“But you couldn’t have seen it coming. I was an idiot, the signs were all there. Defect once and how will you resist defecting again? Kristian was on my side only while it was convenient.”
“Vincent ran back with his tail between his legs when the tides began to turn against Adriel. The only side they have is their own.”
Jillian sighed and nodded. She opened her mouth to say something but didn’t.
“What?”
“Another complaint, but I don’t want to talk about boys anymore. It’s a waste of our time together.”
“Agreed. What do you propose?”
Jillian kissed her.

I went to see Indiana Jones earlier and wanted to laugh so badly at Klaber (Boyd’s character) throwing someone out of a helicopter…
