A (Hopefully) Helpful Guide to What in "Hell" is Bad?

Part 6 - Secret Club (Adore), Secret Club (Unholy Board), Hell-Oh! Talk

I have a mild love of documentation (okay, it’s a problem) and I find it fun— so here we go! I’ve hopefully written out most of the options you’ll encounter while playing, as I know it’s been a confusing start with the game coming out in the state that it did.

And let’s be real here, most gacha-style games can feel overwhelming at first, especially if you’re new to them overall. It happens, and with all the questions I’ve seen floating about, I wanted to maybe help someone out, as well as have some fun. Or this’ll flop, either way, still fun.

There will absolutely be things I’ve missed, or glossed over— or even gotten wrong— so feel free to ask about anything, tell me things, or correct me.

For full transparency— I have spent money on this game, but I have not “whaled” whatsoever. I wanted to test certain things, and I have a strong sense of curiousity.

What is the Secret Club?

The secret club is where you can give some extra attention to your L-Grade devils! They are the only ones you’ll find here, and there’s a couple things that we can do.

From here you can access or view:

Unholy Board - Extra benefits for your devils, we’ll touch on this in a bit

Ero Lv. - This goes up the more you adore your devils

Icons of Actions - Below the exp bar there’s four circular icons, showing how often you’ve used actions in those categories during Adore

Chibi - A little chibi of the L-Grade Devil (there’s a reason it’s here, I’ll show you soon)

Devil Select - Scroll through your L-Grade Devils— you have to have them to adore them!

Adore - Costs 15AP, but is quite an interesting interaction…

Let’s look at “Adore”

It’s a bit more than adoration, and I don’t recommend having your volume on while playing this if you’re in earshot of anyone who may think you’re listening to something a bit less… tame. These boys are vocal!

The game is going to ask you to do this at least once daily within your achievements— and you’ll also find the Unholy Board sometimes asks for it as well.

While adoring your chosen devil, you’ll be brought to an interaction screen.

What can you do here?

This is where you can touch your chosen devil in various ways.

On the left side you’ll have a close up of your devil’s face (in this case Mammon), his expressions are going to change as you ‘adore’ him.

On the right there’s a bit more to do— let’s take a look.

Two bars (empty and black above) towards the middle of the screen — these are what you want to fill, however you only want the right one to fill completely. It shows as blue as it fills in most reactions, and the left shows red

White Circles — These circles come off of certain areas of your devil, depending on what action you have selected. These are the interactive areas, tap on one to see what reaction he gives!

Circular Action Icons — These will show you your options for interacting, click on the circles for more options within them— some are locked, though! We’ll get to how to unlock more options when we cover the Unholy Board

Reactions? Bars?

Reactions

Indeed! Depending on where you touch, there’s two different things you’ll see.

Regular - The bars will fill with red and blue respectively

Rainbow (shown above) - The bars will both fill with a ‘rainbow’ reaction— this is the good spot, apparently! Finding this reaction will reward you with items as you fill the bars (not letting the bars fill entirely will allow you to continue getting items, if you want). It’s not a ton of rewards, but it’s something!

Wait— what about the bars? What?

Right, right, that’s important, actually!

You do not want to fill the bar on the left, ever. This bar fills faster than the right one (which is why it’s more filled in the screenshot), but filling it will not satisfy your devil. You want to tap intermittently to steadily fill the RIGHT bar, which fills significantly slower.

Completely fill the bar on the right and your devil will be satisfied.

Once again, I sincerely do not recommend having your volume on when using this function if you’re around people you’re not comfortable with hearing some risqué voices.

Basically— look for the rainbow reaction, and enjoy adoring your devil.

Hang on!! I can’t use this with people around??! Look at him!!

PrettyBusy thought of that, too! If you’re not in an area you want to be looking at a devil in all his glory then click the three-lined icon in the top-right corner and select the icon that has a “12” on it.

You’ll get his little chibi I mentioned, instead!

The screen is much more simple, but hey at least you can do it around people, right?

Secret Club - Unholy Board

Each L-Grade devil comes with his own Unholy Board, which gives him some benefits as well as unlocks some nice story or additional actions for you! It’s essentially a skill tree, with different requirements per node. It’s really simple, thankfully! When you’ve accomplished something, you’ll get a little notification (but it won’t tell you which devils board it was on…).

What does it want from me?

It will ask for things like:

Win a battle with this character participating x times

Enter x amount of Pure Gold

Achieve Ultimate/Skill level x

Satisfy this character in Secret Club (Adore) x times

Enter x amount of [Promotion Material] (Varies)

Reach x level

Promote character

Use the shop x times

Defeat a boss monster in Dark Sanctuary x times

There may be more, however this encompasses most of what you’ll find, especially early on (I have not completed my devils skill trees at the time of writing this).

Okay… what does it give me?

Oh! This is easy, mostly it gives your devil benefits, but I’ll some things out for you. (Once again, this list may not be every single reward you may find.)

Increasing a stat

Decrease DMG taken from a certain attribute

Acquire Story— a special story for your L-Grade Devil, you’ll unlock it over the course of his Unholy Board

Adore Actions— unlock new actions to use during adore such as Slap, Holding Horn & Shake, etc

Increase skill duration — at least of passive skills

It’s honestly worth it to pick away at it as you can— L-Grade devils are worth the effort, given how strong they are. Increasing their stats or resistances is always worth it— plus, getting a unique story for them, and more actions for adore is worth it, too.

Hell-Oh! Talk

This is just a simple chat functionality where devils will send you messages from time to time. You’ll usually receive three over the course of a day from one devil.

Like most text messages, you get a little notification saying who it’s from, and the start of the message itself. You can either click “Go” to follow it immediately, or access it later by selecting Hell-Oh! Talk on the Home Screen.

Once you do, you’ll see a list of all the messages you’ve received— find the one that says “You have a new message” and you’ll begin the conversation. These are always short and sweet— so they won’t take you long at all. Typically you’re also able to send a response to the first part of the message.

Once you reply they’ll finish what they want to say, influenced by your response. Once complete, you’ll get a single Guilty Gem— but hey, some of their messages are honestly very cute, like Leraye just being so happy to have the ability to message you.

(Ignore Leviathan and his angry emoji, he’s fine.)

I honestly really love seeing who’ll be texting each day.

Oh! You can also see their profiles.

By selecting horned devil icon on the left hand side, above the chat one, you can see their very simple profiles. Just their icon, status message and number of exchanged messages with you!

If they’re your devil of the day, there will also be a bar along the bottom telling you a rough estimate of when to expect their messages.

And that’s that! Wow, finally reached the end of Part 6! Originally I was going to include an item list in a Part 7… but I wasn’t sure if that was really needed. Is there anything else I should touch on? Devils, individual artifacts, items, I thought of them, but wasn’t sure if they’d be overall useful.

My Love Story With Yamada-kun At Lv 999 Is A Romance You Should Definitely Watch (Anime Review)

If there’s a studio that can capture romance well, it’d be Madhouse. The way they animate romantic scenes in anime is immaculate. I absolutely loved My Love Story!! And how romance was animated in Cardcaptor Sakura and Bibliophile Princess (which I still need to finish). My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv. 999 is a prime example of well-animated romantic scenes and fluffy, colorful animation.

My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv. 999 is a shoujo romance story between gamers. 20-year-old college student Akane Kinoshita gets dumped by her boyfriend one day as he fell for another girl over the internet. In an attempt to get him back, she attends a game event, trips and meets a handsome guy named Akito Yamada who picks up her shoe. Akane learns three things about him: 1. He’s Afro Yamada from FOS, the game she plays and the focus of the event she is attending; 2. He’s a well-known gamer that her ex-boyfriend ignores her when he sees them together; 3. Yamada is an 18-year-old high school student. Does that stop Akane from falling for him? Nope. She falls for him because that is the point of the story!

I’ll address the elephant in the room first. I’ve seen people on social media berate the age difference between the two leads because one is a college student and the other is a high school student. 18 and 20 isn’t a big gap, contrary to Twitter’s belief. A two year age difference is nothing special. There are a lot of pairs with a two year age difference. There’s no difference in maturity levels as both characters are mature in their own ways. There is nothing problematic with this story or the characters. If you think a two-year age gap is weird, then maybe you’re the weird one…

In all honesty, I really like the premise of having gamers fall in love. In today’s society, gaming is the trend, so it was clever of the author to ride on that and to make a romance out of it. I think the way this story was written is actually crafted well from a writer’s perspective. Akane isn’t shown to be a nerdy gamer; she plays games casually and is fashionable and pretty. It shows that anyone can play games and it shows in Episode 3 where Akane meets up with her guild members that aren’t Yamada in real life. They range from a handsome bespectacled 19-year-old college student Eita who catfishes as the guild master Rurihime, his gremlin younger sister Runa who’s in middle school and strawberry farmer Takezo Kamota who’s much older than all of them. It shows that anyone of all ages can enjoy games and that there’s no shame in doing so.

Sure, there are conflicts every now and then like Akane not being over her boyfriend, Runa getting jealous and protective over her circle of friends that she had to trick Akane, and Yamada’s classmate Tsubaki having a crush on him, but they all get resolved efficiently and without the need to drag out time. I actually like that! Sometimes, shoujo and romance animes can be hard because some conflict drag out and ruins the flow (I’m looking at you, Kimi ni Todoke with your Kento/miscommunication plot point).

The characters are all nicely written for a romance anime. Akane is a twenty-year-old girl and a college student. While she is the older one in her relationship with Yamada, that doesn’t mean she’s mature. She has problems and issues that most young girls face like not getting over rejection, being overly trusting and overthinking. People would think, “Oh, you’re an adult, you have to start acting like one”. Adulthood isn’t all sunshine and rainbows as people might expect and Akane proves that. College students are dumb and a mess; I would know because I was dumb and a mess at that age. I also like the fact that she does have dating experience. Akane, in general, is a fun character and a good shoujo lead; I think wasted/drunk Akane is the most hilarious thing ever. I love that she has different outfits! They’re all so cute and a few look like something I’d wear casually!

Yamada is rather mature for a high school boy. However, as a gamer, he’s rather unrealistic because most gamers I’ve seen are loud, constantly online, and probably lacks a love interest. How often do you see a tall, handsome gamer who treats women well? How often do you meet such a gamer guy outside of gaming? Despite his rather unrealistic qualities, I do think that he and Akane match well because of their personality differences and just how kind and respectful they are to each other. Yamada is only awkward with romance and girls because he had hurt someone in the past and doesn’t want to step out of his boundaries to hurt anyone again. I guess my only gripe with Yamada would be that he’s voiced by Kouki Uchiyama who’s voiced dozens of characters similar to him so it’s to be expected that he’d voice this guy too (this is the fourth anime I’ve seen that has him in the cast; three of them are the same character with black hair and one is a marmot); it’s not a bad thing to be typecasted since it is a job for voice actors. I do like Uchiyama a lot! I just feel like it’s to be expected in a way?

I do like how Eita has the qualities to be the second lead, but he’s not. He’s mainly in the story to be supportive and help our main duo get together. He’s a long time friend of Akito’s. Eita’s probably my favorite character in this anime because of how entertaining he is. When his identity as Rurihime is revealed, he goes on and on about his relationship with Rurihime (he just likes playing as a female character in general) and doesn’t think him being a catfisher is weird. Yeah, you do you, Eita! I do like how he’s a good big brother to Runa; he scolds her when she does something bad, but he is generally caring and supportive of her. He’s also somewhat of a big brother to Akito since he’s a year older than him. Eita is a vital character in this story because he’s the reason why Akane is in the guild and why Akane and Yamada eventually got together.

Runa looked to be a romantic rival at first, but she’s just a lonely girl with no friends. She’s protective of Yamada and such because she doesn’t want change in her life and just wants things to be the same. Although the prank she played on Akane was bad and dangerous, she does get Akane’s forgiveness by becoming her friend, which Runa enjoys and appreciates. She’s a definitive younger sister character with her snark and sassiness. She’s also a very timid character as she gets nervous easily. I’m glad that she is someone that I got to warm up to in the anime and that she doesn’t continuously play pranks on Akane to kick her out of the guild. My only gripe with Runa is that her game avatar doesn’t appear once in the anime. What does it look like? I want to know!

Kamota is the last of the major Chocorabbit guild members (before Tsubaki’s arrival) and is the oldest. He’s such an adorable character. I think the fact that he’s an older character, thus has so many connection makes realistic sense. If you don’t know, being an older Asian person means you know practically everyone in your community; my parents are like this as they practically know a lot of people in the Korean community where I live. He was yelling at the creepy suit guy in Episode 5 (voiced by OnoD) and telling him that he has a lawyer friend was peak. He’s also hilarious in the FOS world where his character is a tiny fuzzball, but when in battle, he grows ten times bigger and becomes the OP-est member. It’s a waste to not see what his avatar’s powered up self looks like.

Of the side characters, I think Momo is my favorite because she’s so supportive of Akane. While she does envy Akane at times, it’s more of a friendly kind. She’s always supportive of her and is her biggest emotional support when things look bad for her. I do hope she gets the boyfriend of her dreams.

Okamoto and Tsubaki are Yamada’s friends from school. Tsubaki’s role is that she has a crush on him, but is also a gamer. She joins Chocorabbit a bit later in the anime and does get along with Akane. Okamoto is comic relief. I do want to see more of his friends, honestly. They do seem like good people for Yamada to hang out with them constantly.

The voice acting is pretty good since they get a good mix of well-known voice actors in the cast. Inori Minase and Kouki Uchiyama play the leads while Natsuki Hanae, Ai Kakuma and Nobuo Tobita are the supporting cast. That’s pretty solid all around. I think the two most standout voice actors are Ai Kakuma and Nobuto Tobita. Kakuma has two roles in the anime: Rurihime and Runa. The fact that she voices both characters differently shows off her talent. Rurihime has a cute tone befitting an avatar while Runa is soft-spoken with a lot of snark and grouch. Tobita’s voice as Takezo is really good. He voices him adorably but when things get dire, he changes his tone to a deeper one. I really liked the way he voiced his avatar character the most.

The music in the anime’s good. The music used in the romantic scenes is so soothing and brings out the vibe so well. The opening and ending songs are good too! You can’t go wrong with Kana-boon!

There’s nothing I particularly disliked about this anime, which is good! I totally recommend this anime to anyone wanting to watch romance animes. Heck, this has become one of my favorite romances now. I’m glad I was able to watch it and enjoy it! I think there should be more college-themed romances or even gimmicky ones like gamers falling in love. This is the last of the Spring 2023 animes I’ve watched, so I’m glad to finally be able to review this. What are your thoughts on this anime if you have seen it?

Not real evidence, but another thing that I think strengthens the narrator theory for me anyway is this.

The first two are from the boss fight against Asriel when he's transformed into the Angel of Death, his goat head with long horns atop a floating, legless, triangular body with long clawed hands in gloves and giant, rainbow-colored wings spread out that are shifting colors. Face scrunched up, he's wailing and shouting, "So, please… Stop doing this… And just let me win!!!"

The next two screenshots are from much earlier in the game: the first is in the tutorial fight against the Dummy in the Ruins, which the player has spared. The narration reads, "You won! You earned 0 XP and 0 gold." The final screenshot is from killing an enemy. The player is LV 4 and the narration reads, "You won! You earned 100 XP and 140 gold. Your LOVE has increased."

End description.

The whole game, the narrator has cheered us on most any time we win an encounter with a monster, whether we fought or spared. The only exception is when we beat the boss at the end of the area, again whether that is sparing or killing (eg Toriel, Papyrus) - there is no narration when a boss encounter has been won. The only exception ironically is if you spare the injured Flowey after the Photoshop Flowey fight: the narration simply says, "Flowey ran away." (If you kill him however, the narrator says nothing, as with the result of every other boss fight.)

(Tangent: The Doylist explanation for this is probably that these are the main characters and their words to us when defeated is supposed to be what sticks, so having the narration say "Yay, good job! You got this from that!" might break up the mood in a way Toby didn't want. The narration for "Flowey ran away" is used instead to drive home how pitiful he's become with his tearful reaction to the Mercy spam.)

It just feels like something Toby would do, ya know? Asriel, the antagonist, pleading with Chara, the narrator who's been letting us win the whole game, to let him win. And then, even though they were jabbering excitedly earlier in the fight, they stay silent and say nothing back to his pleas, perhaps because they know he's talking to the wrong person and won't be able to hear them anyway (Frisk is the one he's fighting, not them), or perhaps because they can't bring themself to say anything else after the flashbacks (the narrator does fall silent suddenly after the flashbacks; the reality of it all hitting home for Chara and choking them up?). And of course, with the narrator saying nothing back, Asriel then ends up "losing" as he cries and has his change of heart.

Thematically, it's just too cool that, along with everything else, it makes it really hard for me to believe that Toby didn't intend NarraChara.

It would also make sense as a game the two used to play and perhaps the reason Chara is so quick to start narrating everything for us. Asriel has his Absolute God of Hyperdeath character the narrator is quick to recognize and describe, after all, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was a game they played: Chara the DM describing the world and enemies around Asriel as he, the hero of the story, ventures forth and battles enemies. Drawing their stories, recording their games with the camera. Flowey, the one-time hero of the story, turned villain, wants to keep playing but can never hear their voice again. And Chara, now reduced to just their voice, never able to speak to their friend again and now fated to narrate the real-life, life-or-death adventures of strangers in different worlds (with the silver lining that they at least seem to enjoy Frisk's and Kris' company).

It's also interesting to consider in light of this from Chara themself.

The only time Chara, our otherwise plucky faithful narrator, won't let you win. They deny you winning in a much more brutal way than the sad silence they give Asriel on Pacifist, and should you do Pacifist again after this, they make sure to snatch that victory from you too.

Boyfriends Webtoons Discourse

The more I read this ‘controversial’ webtoons, the more I’m convinced that the people that are so offended by it have NEVER even read a single chapter in full.

I understand not liking it, that’s fine, the issues people have with the creator are personal and if you can’t forgive X thing that he did, then that’s with you and I won’t bother arguing, since it has the potential to be personal/hit close to home for some.

But, like, when it comes to the ACTUAL webtoons??? Like, have any of you read the basic introductory chapter?

“It’s not serious!” “It’s cringe!”

Literally the FIRST BF profile card says “Epic Gamer Skillz” “Tweetch Subs” and “D’ARKNESS LV.” Could it be any more obvious??? Of course it’s not serious, of course it has cringey dialogue, the majority of these chapters have memes in them. The point is that it’s NOT serious, and it NEVER pretended to be in the first place. The damn characters speak like personified Discord Servers. “WTF” “EZ”. In a close follow-up chapter one of the characters literally says “OWO Choco?” Like???

So of course it’s not serious, of course it’s over the top and cheesy, to be over the top and cheesy IS THE POINT. But it seems like no one has actually read the comic, they’ve simply seem a few reactions and out of context clips from the comic and decided they know how everything works... Disregarding the fact that they’ve never read it...

Next is people claiming that the comic “fetishizes gay people”.

First of all. The Author is gay. Second of all, literally who cares? If someone is dumb enough to gather all their opinions of gay people based on a webtoons comic that’s basically a longstanding meme, their opinions never mattered to begin with.

Lastly, I get an icky feeling in my stomach whenever I hear this talking point. I remember feeling it back when I was in the hell that was the MHA fandom.

It was during shipping wars when an eerily similar point was made concerning gay couples. “They’re fetishizing gay people!” “All this shipping is because of the Fujoshis!”

You know who was saying all this? STRAIGHT PEOPLE.

Yes, for whatever reason which is beyond my understanding, when the topic of gay couples is brought up, it’s always Heterosexual people who think they know what’s best for the LGBTQ+ community. They often talk over gay people, and what happens when gay people don’t agree with them? “I bet you’re just a Fujoshi!” They say, unaware that this stranger they’ve never even seen the face of, is, in fact, gay and male.

So even now, I have to wonder if the people that are declaring this as sexualizing gay people are even gay themselves, if they’re not, do they realize that THE CREATOR is gay himself? Not only that, but as a personal account, I can recall many open and proud LGBTQ+ people (primarily gay) that act like stereotypes. There’s NOTHING wrong with how these characters act, nor those very real people. It’s an insult to these people’s real expressions.

Tell me, would you go up to a gay person and tell them that their form of personal expressions are “wrong”? Who on earth would any of us be to talk down to others like that?

That is also to say that LGBTQ+ people are under NO obligation to act “normal”. We should not be expected to suppress our real forms of expression for the sake of “not letting everyone else down”. If we all had to act normal, if no other depictions of being different were allowed, life would be worthless and meaningless.

This partially off topic tangent is to Segway into the talking point (or implied talking point) that this webtoons is publicizing unflattering stereotypes and is therefore bad.

Firstly. If you think this story is some sort of blow to LGBTQ+ Pride, the problem is with you. There’s nothing wrong with how you express yourself so long as it hurts no one. If you think this makes everyone under the rainbow banner look bad, you should look inward and wonder why you need to gatekeep how others express themselves (and to be clear, yes, I know I am referencing fictional characters with no will or mind of their own, but I believe the general point still stand firm when transferred over to real life).

Two, as I covered, these aren’t mythical stereotypes, there are actual people who live like this, and they’re valid and entitled to living how they see fit.

But you know what? I hear you, in spite of the numerous arguments I’ve made, You still have your objections, but here’s where my secret Uno Reverse Card kicks in.

My final argument.

It’s Refrainbow’s webcomic.

It’s as simple as that. Any content creator is not beholden to their audience and their whims. You can not like the comic, that’s fine, but you’re NOT entitled to changes made at your say-so. People frame their points like they deserve changes made so it can personally appeal to them, but that’s just not the case. If you don’t like the webtoons comic, rewrite it. Make it into something you like, but posting about how all the BFs are going to hell and how you want to run them over with a truck isn’t helping anyone or anything, you’re just being incredibly childish and whiny.

Once again: This is a FREE Webcomic made by a small set of people (I think just two? According to the Webtoons chapter outros at least). This webtoons is not going to revolutionize gay relationships, nor is it reasonable to expect it to. It’s a personal passion project, and it has every right to stay that way and not branch out like so many seem to want it to.

A final few disclaimers.

1. If you’re a straight cis person, just don’t argue. I’m gay, and I’m not about to have a straight person try to talk down to me and tell me I’m wrong, or worse, claim I’m a Fujoshi/Yaoi Loving Fangirl, there’s a reason I stepped away from the MHA fandom ya know.

2. I’m not a dedicated fan of this fic (although I do admit to having a bias, as I enjoy it and find humor in it) or of the author. I personally don’t care about the past controversies, and as I’m not affected by any of them, It’s not my place, duty/obligaton to forgive them on behalf of the people they harmed, that’s not the goal of this conversation. I simply am tired of seeing all this hate, both from arrogant straight people, and this senseless infighting from a section of the LGBTQ+ Community. To me it all seems like trumped up claims that don’t align with the reality of the situation.

- The lower level environment further worsened as its intake of new passengers lost control along with the immoderate issuance of "Blessing Boxes." To strive for space and resources, a revolution was emerging to overthrow the dominance from the upper level. Faced with the train of fated history, how would Noan manage to survive this rain of blood? What had he experienced to eventually become the Construct he is now?

- Inner World game mode emphasizes overall strategies' impact on your tactical execution. The mode features 5 chapters, each containing two phases: Downstream and Upstream.

- Starting with Downstream Phase, you need to clear a series of stages, in which you need to choose one of the two groups of enemies as your opponent. The defeated enemy group will grant Mirage Features, namely powerful buffs, to the other group of enemies.

- Upon finishing the Downstream Phase, you will start the Upstream Phase, which requires you to take down the remaining groups of enemies left from the Downstream Phase. Certain combinations of enemy types and Mirage Features may result in extremely dire battle conditions, so make sure to think twice before choosing the first group of enemies.

- Finish event missions to obtain various rewards including basic training and enhancing materials, Event Construct R&D Tickets, Trade Vouchers, 6★ Memory Shards, and a limited chat stamp [Drinking Tea].

HSR FAQ 𖡻 HP%/ATK%/DEF% or Outgoing Healing Boost (OHB) for chest relic?

Answer

Type of body relic piece that gives most healing amount to least:

HP-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* HP% body

ATK-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* ATK% body

DEF-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* DEF% body

Explanation

I know the feeling of grinding the Passerby domain and not getting the OHB body for healers. The build guides are saying to use OHB body for them, but RNG says no.

In this post, I'll make a comparison calculation between the two in order find out how much difference would the healing amount each type would give.

Assumptions:

I'll be using rainbow-set with the healers. This means that there would be no additional set effect that could add to healing amount. This is to ensure that each different-scaling healers would be equal when it comes to constants.

I'll also use 3* Multiplication lightcone stats without considering the passive in the calculation. (cause we are broke f2ps)

Constants would be the relic main stats for head, hand, boots, and rope. Variable would be main stat for body and orb and the max stats of 3* LC.

The comparison would be between using 5* HP%/ATK%/DEF% body, 5* OHB body, and 4* OHB body.

At the time of this writing, there are only HP and ATK scaling healers available. However, in this post, I'll include a hypothetical computation for a DEF-scaling healer, in case HYV decides to release one in future. I made this assumption due to the fact that in Genshin Impact, there are DEF-scaling healers released in game.

Max Lv 80, Trace Lv 6/10/10/10

There are no ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, and DEF% substats (because healer set likes to roll into crits, break effect, EHR, and effect res)

Constants:

Behind the Scenes for WIP

The Secret Portal Backstory

So I previously explained the connection my WIP The Secret Portal has to the Rainbow Magic series, and how that evolved into a creative writing class for school.

Let's talk about that draft.

I already read it aloud and you can also read it for yourself on my website, but here's the summary:

Ten-year-old best friends Alexia and Aurora stumble across a portal, in the form of a metal rock, in the lawn at their school. They travel to a world in the clouds where they meet an older couple, Lizzy and Ted, and their grandchildren, Carly and George.

The girls are threatened by an evil sorcerer to hand over their metal detector, an item Alexia has on hand, with the intent to find the portal and destroy it. Lizzy tells the girls they have powers (as does she and the rest of their families), and Alexia devises a plan to defeat the sorcerer, called Warlock LV. The girls use their metal detector to find the portal and go home.

Not my best work, but it's a creative enough concept to take up over half my life.

I was super proud of this story, and even role played the events with my sister and best friend at the time. For the next yearish, I planned out this massive series, each in a new perspective. I made new characters based directly on my friends and gave them all a different power.

But I didn't start on a new draft until I got my laptop.... More on that next time

As apprentices here, you must prove your commitment to loveliness by creating all three pieces of the Apprentice Romantic Set. Each piece takes 50 Fabric Jellies on the Apprentice Stage to create, and I will supervise your work to ensure you don’t create a duplicate by mistake. Complete the set to open the next stage.

To get the Fabric Jellies needed for the Apprentice Romantic set, you’ll need to run with me for them on the Apprentice Map. Since you are still my apprentices, we’ll limit your options to make things easier to choose from.

🧶 Surpass every score rank and complete the Apprentice Romantic set to unlock the Production Stage, otherwise known as Hard Mode. Reaching new ranks adds a bonus percentage to your Fabric Jellies post-run and grants small bonus rewards which will not be listed here because your dear clerk- er- Lemon-Lime Meringue Cookie already surpassed them all prior to filming. My apologies, I must have forgotten that both of our names included the word Meringue.
