Donald Trump took the stage in Greensboro, N.C. last Saturday calling for rounding up millions of Latinos across America and putting them in mass detention camps as part of “the largest domestic deportation operation in American history.” Unfortunately, this kind of rhetoric has become so common among the MAGA Republican playlist that it’s tempting to see it as a joke. But that wasn’t just somebody’s racist grandfather running off at the mouth or a standup comedian with bad taste playing to the crowd. My parents and grandparents would have called it a dog whistle, but my generation should know it’s a bullhorn. But whatever you call it, it was calculated, drafted, tested and approved as part of the far-right Project 2025 plan to turn back the clock on civil rights, women’s rights, workers’ rights and democracy itself. It was the white Christian nationalist agenda on full public display in all its un-American glory and we can’t afford to take it lightly.
Now, if you haven’t heard about Project 2025, don’t feel bad. Most people haven’t. Founded in 2022 by the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation, it’s an organization led by Trump insiders preparing for one nation under Trump if the twice impeached and four times indicted former president wins the November election and to call them dangerous is an understatement.
What do you think about overhauling federal law enforcement so that the Department of Justice and the FBI, designed to be independent and insulated from political influence, were controlled directly by a newly elected and emboldened President Trump so he could protect his minions from investigation, arrest and prosecution no matter how many laws they broke? Project 2025 loves the idea.
Want to bypass the Senate confirmation process and stop notifying Congress when we sell weapons to foreign governments? Project 2025 does. What about terminating every diversity, equity and inclusion program in the federal government? Project 2025 says right on. What do you think about invoking martial law, using the military as local law enforcement and locking up Trump opponents? Project 2025 calls that progress.
But how do they plan on doing all this? After all, the federal government is more than just one person in the Oval Office. Trump already learned that lesson when federal employees and even some of his own appointees refused to break the law just because he said so.
But Project 2025 has a solution to that roadblock. They call it Schedule F and it’s a plan to fire as many as 50,000 federal employees and replace them with dyed-in-the-wool MAGA fanatics who swear their loyalty not to America or the Constitution but to Donald J. Trump. They’re not even trying to keep it a secret. But why would they?
You see, Project 2025 isn’t confused about who they are. They’re the MAGA Manifesto committed to the unapologetic vision of right-wing nationalism and they don’t care who knows it. Let’s be honest, these guys are attacking President Biden for pushing “racial equity in every area of our national life, including in employment.” Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Are we supposed to think our president should not be fighting for equality and justice?
That’s what Project 2025 says. But that shouldn’t surprise us. After all, they don’t think folks who look like me are real Americans. Neither does Trump.
But they’re not clowns. They’re highly trained, well-funded political operatives dedicated to winning in November and remaking America in their white nationalist image. They’ve spent the past two years putting together a plan to do just that setting the highest stakes imaginable for this election.

The real problem for me with MAGA/Nazi/Right Wing etc fetishes is that the fascist is always the Dom. I want to watch someone get flogged for misgendering or forced to quote the communist manifesto while jacking off on camera for humiliation. Make a finance bro finsub go on gofundme and buy strangers insulin until his bank account is drained.

Far right ideologues, like DeSantis buddy Chris Rufo, like to refer to themselves as the "dissident right". That is a euphemism to hide their true anti-constitutional pro-dictatorship nature.
Chris Rufo, a rightwing culture-war celebrity and close Ron DeSantis ally, has maintained a close relationship with IM-1776, a “dissident right” magazine that regularly showers praise on dictators and authoritarians, puffs racist ideologues, and attacks liberal democracy. The outlet’s editors and writers – many of them so-called “anons” working under pseudonyms – have variously advocated for the repeal of the Civil Rights Act; celebrated figures such as the “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski and the proto-fascist Italian nationalist Gabriele D’Annunzio; and advanced conspiracy theories about the Covid pandemic, and what they term the “regime”, a leftist power structure that they imagine unites the state, large corporations, universities and the media.
Rufo and his cohorts are working to muddy the difference between themselves and the less extreme right.
Last month a “manifesto” written by Rufo – The New Right Activism – ran in the online and print versions of IM-1776, and Rufo has publicly urged his audience to buy and subscribe to the outlet. He has also co-hosted a series of Twitter spaces with the magazine’s editors, beginning in July last year. In one of them, recorded in October, he indicated an interest in incorporating the “dissident right” more fully in mainstream political discourse, saying: “I think there is a room for engaging the dissident right and the establishment right. I think we need to have a bridge between the two and and engage in thoughtful dialogue.” More recently, he has expressed a personal interest in expanding the range of acceptable political discourse. On the Pirate Wires podcast earlier this month, he told host Mike Solana of his own activism: “I try to play that game, I try to lay traps, I try to provoke certain reactions, I try to launder certain words and phrases into the discourse.”
Rufo's rag IM-1776 glorifies domestic terrorists.
Last June, IM-1776 published an obituary of Ted Kaczynski by another pseudonymous author calling themselves “The Prudentialist”. Kaczynski died in a federal prison last year at the conclusion of a life sentence he received for a 17-year mailbombing campaign that killed three of his targets and injured 23 others. Describing Kaczynski as “allegedly a lone wolf terrorist, but also a mathematical genius”, the IM-1776 author relativized his crimes and explained that Kaczynski’s “iconic status on the contemporary right can be partly attributed to the devastating critique of the left included in his famous manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future”.
The Republican Party is now the Trump MAGA Party. It refuses to call out extremists and is cozy with foreign dictators like Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán. Permitting Republicans to gain power puts the country under the control of the anti-constitutional "dissident right" who advocate Red Caesarism.
The ONLY way to defeat Republicans/MAGA/the "dissident right"/Red Caesarism is to vote Democratic. Any talk from the third party curious about impotent minor party candidates should get an instant reality check; the last presidential election won by a non-Democrat or non-Republican was in 1848.

If you consider yourself a progressive in any capacity, it is your moral obligation to counter fascism in any way you can.
It’s absolutely disgraceful that we live in a time where voting for milquetoast liberals is legitimate anti-fascist action. But it is.
MAGA not the fringe. That is the Republican Party. White supremacy and anti-queer bigotry is the norm now. It IS the mainstream. The anti-trans rhetoric they engage in is deliberate. They call queer people pedophiles and groomers because they want you to die. They want you to be affectively dehumanized so they can strip everything from you. They call abortion murder because they want women to be helpless. They called George Floyd a thug and a druggie, because needless suffering by POC cannot be sympathized with.
The buffalo shooter was not a lone wolf and he was not an isolated incident. The shit in his manifesto is shit spewed on Fox News.
Fascism should be in your every day vocabulary. That is what binds the GOP platform. Do not delude yourself into believing that it can’t happen here. It can, it IS, and now is the time to ACT.
IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE, REGISTER. REGISTER RIGHT NOW. REGISTER AS A DEMOCRAT SO YOU CAN VOTE IN PRIMARIES.
VOTE FOR CANDIDATES THAT ARE PRO CHOICE, PRO UNION, PRO EQUALITY.
Don’t be lazy if you live in a blue state, and don’t be discouraged if you live in the red. California used to be a Republican stronghold, and every election cycle, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama get a little bluer. Never get complacent, never be hopeless. Inaction is pro-fascist, always.

NGL Lol I'm with Macuil on this one . Like from his perspective it makes sense to not get involved.
He wants nothing to do with the corrupt violent humans and their endless bloody wars. He probably sees Edelgards war as just another war (and without knowing the details it would seem like she's just another human trying to kill and conquer. What he doesn't know is shes allied with Agarthans)
He probably thinks humans are incapable of ever achieving true peace. You'll always have someone trying to murder someone else. Say he does help Seiros win this war, he knows it's only a matter of time before humanity wages yet another war.
Macuil makes his stance known. he sets his boundaries and expects people to respect it. and when they don't respect it he will enforce it. If people approach his territory and attack him he gives them a warning and gives them a chance to leave with their lives. (Macuil will tell Claude he's his enemy but he still gives him a chance to leave). Ofc if they refuse or still go on to attack him he's like ok then, you die.
And in Hopes, the last time warring humans decided to bring their bloody BS to his territory he kicked their asses. Like damnnn, Message RECEIVED. The humans learn immediately that they should NOT approach this area or they may very well die. Y'all wanna kill eachother? Well do it somewhere else!
Anyways , Knowing what we know about Edelgards war it does seem odd that Indech and Macuil wouldn't help Seiros, but they don't know the details.
do they know Edelgard kidnapped flayn for her blood to turn people into demonic beasts? Do they know Edelgard had a custom relic made ? (A relic that didn't exist in the war of heroes !) Do they know Rhea was captured and imprisoned and can be used to make more demonic beasts and can potentially be turned into a relic herself?
Seteth doesn't get to explain anything. He just asks and they say no and he's like okiedokie ! The end.
I suspect if they knew that the Agarthans were behind it all they'd be more amenable to giving a hand (or claw) in destroying them. Like that would've been awesome! But tbh I think the devs were just lazy and didn't want to deal with the Nabateans.
Hm,
I mean, on the one hand, for sure, you make a choice, as a third party, to get involved in Supreme Leader's war or not...
Unless you're directly targeted by her!
Nopes hammers how the "Central Church" is the reason why the war started, but are we really swallowing the victim blaming to the point where we put the blame on Rhea for, uh, refusing to die/permanently leave her home and go in exile somewhere, when asked to, for starting the war?
For sure Macuil might think humans will never live in peace and will always war for a reason or another... but does it mean not helping his relatives - non-humans - who are being hunted because their ears are pointy or because they are "an obstacle" to MAGA?
Putting Rhea aside, Macuil seems to appreciate Flayn - who is part of the people hunted by Supreme Leader's war (or her allies), would Macuil, faced with her relic, come to blame "well it was unavoidable humans are humans" or would maybe feel the tiny pang of regret, "if I had joined the war effort maybe I could have saved her"?
Yeah, in a way, the Nabateans not being involved in the war feel completely bonkers, and their ignorance about the events that transpired in WC is just plot contrivance not to, imo, give to much light on Nabateans, Hresvelg Grey and well, the story isn't supposed to be about them (even if in Nopes (GW), Barney mentions stuff Supreme Leader told them about the true nature of both Rhea'n'Seteh? Is it the so called "manifesto" where she denounces them as giant lizards?)
Like, you're telling me Seteth, couldn't tell them "btw the people who caught Rhea are most likely the ones who killed our kin back then and captured Flayn to exsanguinate her, maybe she's turned in a relic right now, are you really sure you don't want to help her?" with an added "and there are weird shapeshifting humans using dark magic like the ones we met back then who are in cahoots with the one starting the war!" ?
Hell, even when Nemesis returns in VW, they don't join - when they joined back then?
-
In a way I found the Macuil tidbit about Lambert and Oleg kind of interesting, because he blasted the two of them who were warring, when Rhea - it happened once ! - tried to mediate between two warring nations (Faerghus and Adrestia).
While they both don't like wars and conflict, Macuil only cares about himself, while Rhea cares about humans and Fodlan...
Which hilariously bites her in the end - the humans she cares about and want to protect... are ultimately the ones seeking her end (we can make a point about Supreme Leader being under Slither influence, but for Claude??).
In a cruel way, Macuil was "right" to stop caring about humans, since it means he is the one who sruvives at the end of (both) games. He is the one who is the most "isolated" from humanity (you can only see him in one route!).
His self-imposed isolation justifies his non involvment, at least in FE16 (since he is in the fridge with Ionius in Nopes...).
We know he fights when war is brought to his hometurf - so I suppose, just like his sister, he would also fight if someone agitates her homemade relic asking for his head.
Would he regret not getting involved when asked when he'll see the "homemade relic" being actually the remains of said sister, while asses next wear his brother and niece as weapons?
We don't know, but given how Macuil isn't completely removed from the world - as he still cares for Flayn - I suppose he would be pissed, but that's only headcanon land because the games don't give a fuck about Nabateans, so we can only surmise and suppose and ultimately headcanon stuff about Macuil.

writing the gofundme blurb for my uncle's brain surgery outpatient care and trying so hard not to make it sound like a socialist manifesto because I know most of the people in my family's circles who have any money to donate are maga morons who are way too ready to let the sick ones die off or be homeless (because that's how they always treated me). Gotta appeal to their overblown patriotic egos if I'm actually gonna ...
hmm.
hey chatGPT, rewrite the blurb as if tr*mp wrote it.
"Dear fantastic supporters and America-loving patriots, We've got a very important cause that needs your incredible help right now! __________, a true fighter, is facing a tough battle with a fast-growing brain tumor that's left him paralyzed on his right side. This tremendous truck driver can't work anymore, and it's devastating."
you know what? perfect.

Transiting Neptune in 2023
Timeline
January 1, 2023 - 22°54’ Pisces
June 30, 2023, 21:07 UT - transiting Neptune stations retrograde, 27°41’ Pisces
December 6, 2023, 13:20 UT - transiting Neptune stations direct, 24°53’ Pisces
January 1, 2024 - 25°05’ Pisces
Who would have thought that Neptune would be the “star” planet of 2022?!? Thanks to the James Webb telescope we got this mesmerizing shot:
Tumblr media
Neptune has been transiting through its own sign since 2011/2, and remains there until 2025/6. That gives us a little more time to get this transit right….
Looking back over the years since 2011/2 - as a US citizen, all I can think about that time (and the time before) is how we had a black guy as President, and far too many of my fellow citizens completely lost their shit as a result of that. In The Book of Water, Steven Forrest warns that if the transit of Neptune through Pisces is “lost and wasted:”
I get frightened of what is happening to me, and I do my best to turn away…. I deny it; I find ways to ground myself and numb myself.
We’ve had quite a blossoming of a conspiracy-theory industry in the US, since President Obama, with the most idiotic, unhinged bullshit too eagerly embraced by people who were frightened of what was happening to them. It eventually morphed beyond “just” the inability to cope with an articulate, intelligent black man, into becoming the willing dupes of the MAGA brigade. How many of them died in the C19 pandemic, because of their refusal to listen to the scientists, because the scientists aren’t racist enough for them?
And look at the opioid crisis - Neptune rules drugs - in the US, opioid overdose deaths began to spike upward shortly after Neptune entered Pisces in 2011.
Arrgh. Anyway. What we all “should” be doing with this transit, is focusing on our spirituality.
Neptune is strong in Pisces, the sign it rules. The last time it was here (1847-1862), we saw the publication of both The Communist Manifesto and Darwin’s Origin of Species; photography began to really take off (after getting invented with Neptune in Aquarius); modern anesthesia was first used; there was a spike in alcoholism and in opium and morphine addiction; spiritualism, with mediums and seances, began to spread (along with charlatans) - and so forth.
These outer planet transits work on global levels - their work is brought “closer to home” when they contact our natal placements, especially the Lights and Angles. A good personal example: transiting Neptune/Pisces was square my natal Sun, from the 4th House, during the C19 pandemic. Basically, I stayed home and explored YouTube.
And again, with Neptune, it can take years before we recognize some definite demarcation or change.
So what can we do? It’s Neptune in Pisces; what we do is, let things happen. Make room for at least meditation, if you can’t bring yourself to try a spiritual path. Find some art form (including music and film and dance) to lose yourself in. We have the time, and we can still get this transit right.

The Religious Right and Fox News are Brainwashing People I Love
AUGUST 16, 2019 / JOHN PAVLOVITZ
A year ago I walked into an older relative’s house unannounced. They’d been expecting us that day for lunch, but we’d arrived thirty minutes earlier than we’d planned—so we knocked and walked in.
The small TV on the kitchen counter was playing FoxNews.
When she came down the stairs, almost in the middle of greeting us, my relative walked hurriedly over to the sink, grabbed the remote and turned off the TV—looking like a teenager caught by her parents watching porn.
Suddenly everything made sense. All the dots connected.
During the last couple of years, I noticed this couple changing, but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. They’d become more and more outspoken on things like immigration and women’s reproductive rights and police shootings—surprising me with the intolerance and cruelty of off-the-cuff comments that seemed out of character for them. I questioned whether or not I was just being overly sensitive or projecting my fears unto them.
But after the surprise peek into their viewing habits it was was clear: they were just following the script.
I could rewind over the previous months and see all the alarmist Fox News talking points in their words at family gatherings and on Facebook: open borders letting in floods of rapists, baby-killing Democrats coming to take their guns, terrorist Muslims lurking everywhere, violent black men threatening police at traffic stops.
And looking back I could see that as they found Fox News, they began to lose their religion.
They no longer had much to say about Jesus; about his Matthew Chapter 25 promise that he would be found in “the least of these”—and that we would be defined by the way we treat the poor and the vulnerable and the imprisoned.
They weren’t interested in talking about the way he fed a hillside multitude of thousands, not because they earned or deserved it—but because he was compassionate and because they were hungry. They now just expressed disdain for lazy people wanting handouts.
They never referenced the fact that Jesus’ family fled to Egypt in desperation while he was a newborn, to escape politically-ordered genocide. Instead they preached about law breaking families not “doing it the right way.”
They abandoned any reference to Jesus’ words about kindness or generosity or welcoming strangers or sharing what you had with those who had not—instead, they slowly but quite clearly adopted a bastardized, angry, America First, gun-loving, immigrant-hating, racist white religion that has become the Republican God.
So whether it’s anti-Muslim legislation or LGBTQ hate crimes or migrant kids taken from their parents or children orphaned by mass shooting or President’s fat-shaming protestors—there is always an excuse, always a justification, always a Fox News alternative reality or Franklin Graham tweet to bunker down in.
The same thing has happened in the white people I’ve served in churches here in the South over the last decade. Their social media feeds are increasingly littered with Brietbart fictional pieces about Hillary eating children and wild conspiracy theories about LGBTQ people converting their children.
The change in them has been as stunning in its velocity and stomach-turning in its depths—and the worst part is that I can’t reach them anymore. Before FoxNews, Franklin Graham, and MAGA propaganda, I could meet them in the common ground of our shared faith in Jesus and in the clarity of objective truth. They no longer have use nor tolerance for such things.
The Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ counter-cultural, counterintuitive manifesto of humility and gentleness and love—has been replaced by venomous, incendiary Sean Hannity propaganda.
The barrier-breaking, table-expanding hospitality of Christ has morphed into sneering Trump rally rant rhetoric about violent illegals and foreign predators and “build that wall” refrains.
These people used to know better. They were good-hearted, generous people who wanted to emulate Jesus. They used to flatly reject bigotry and defended vulnerable communities—and they were people I could count on for rational, level-headed decency.
They once instantly recognized men like Donald Trump as the antithesis of Jesus.
But this is what happens when decent, intelligent people become radicalized: they get polluted by the things they watch and the sermons they sit through and the nonsense they read, and they surround themselves with an echo chamber made of equally-deluded, equally frightened people—until one day they are the religious extremists that they always used to warn you about.
I love my relatives, my former church members, my high school friends and my neighbors—but I grieve what has happened to them. I lament the poisoning of their once soft hearts, the way Jesus has been all but squeezed out of their religion, and I fear that they’ll never fully recover from the alternative narrative that these past three years have written into their brains about the world and about disparate people and about the expansive, lavish, audacious love Jesus calls us to extend.
I only hope these moms and ministers and nurses and schoolteachers and football coaches and favorite relatives get a truer story or meet someone who wakes them up or rediscover Jesus enough that they change the channel, turn off the TV—and find the truth that sets them free:
God is love.
We are our brother’s keeper.
Kindness is the better path.
May it be so.

so lemme get this straight.
An 18 year old man with a history of killing and partially skinning his pets, with a bedroom that looked like the most stereotypical of bedrooms of what people think an alt-righter’s room must look like- complete with My Little Pony merchandise everywhere, a Confederate Battleflag over the bed and a MAGA hat, went on a shooting rampage over ‘white replacement’ theory in a majority-minority supermarket.
The theory itself posits that it’s somehow caused by the Jews, and he hated the FBI, but the man refused to jog down the street from the supermarket and target either the synoagogue or the FBI building. Instead, while claiming to have a problem with non-whites out reproducing whites, he went to the supermarket and attacked middle aged/old people. Because y’know, gray haired folks be makin’ all the babies. I guess. Makes perfect sense. Sure.
MLP:Friendship is Magic has been.. y’know.. done for two years. Three, this fall. The fandom is just sorta lingering. The hayday was the 2011-2015ish era, and everything after is kind of just.. living off its own fumes and stagnating. The sensation is long, long since moved on. If we assume this kid has been a long-timer, and not just a recent adopter, that is.
Meaning this guy was born in 2004 and was 6 years old when FiM came out. So, he would’ve been in the demographic.. I guess. His merchandise in the picture looked too new to’ve been owned for upwards of ten years, though.
And most of his shooter manifesto was lifted from the Christchurch shooter’s manifesto. Lazily copypasted, even.
And I’m told when asked about his plans after graduation he allegedly said, ‘murder suicide’.
The Christchurch shooter guy, that big alt-right.. thing.. throwing out shoutouts to cadance owens and fucking Pewdiepie, because don’t you know, alt-righters love pewdiepie and conservative black people, I guess. Because so the accusations go, Pewdiepie is apparently a Nazi for having said the word nigger once, apologized for it, and throughout his entire youtube career made Nazi jokes a grand total of three times. Two of which were fake-outs wherein he used military uniforms from Britain and somewhere else, and no actual Nazi paraphanelia to speak of.
Surely this miserable bastard wasn’t a mentally disturbed goon the likes the government grooms for shit like this. Just gibbering nonsense that reinforces every nonsensical connection and accusation to be had by ‘proving’ those dangerous, evil white people are “being radicalized” by... fucking videogame playing non-nazis on youtube, milquetoast basic assed conservative minorities and some nebulous, vaguely defined culture of hate where you can fill in the blanks and use your imagination to assume the absolute worst in both the numbers of these people and the extent of their organization.
sorry. This smells. Smells kind of like the Vegas shooter guy somehow getting dozens of firearms and hundreds of pounds of ammunition passed security over and over again, the video of it happening disappearing, somehow the removal of the bulletproof windows being removed in preparation for it (again, by one old man) and then being carried out. Whose manifesto and motivations and how they carried off this random Houdini trick we still don’t know, because for some reason the supposed motivations of a mass shooter to unload on a concert only MAGA-type lovers would attend being some white supremacist schlock wouldn’t make any sense.
Best case scenario, this kid was clearly disturbed and neglected and psychotic. No sane person gets loose on the internet for objectively less than one year before deciding to join a white supremacist hate cause, or whatever. But once again, someone like this asshole shows up, they once again want to talk about “society” enabling and abedding these psychopaths or signing off on their ridiculous beliefs, by not actively seeking out white people and scrutinizing them for ‘possible radical activity or thoughts.’
And again, he spoke about being “radicalized” by 4chan. /pol/, in particular. You mean the /pol/ that it is a matter of public fact that the government itself has been monitoring and participating in the discourse of for years and years? That has been honeypotting, instigating and flame fanning? Posting racist, anti-semitic shit on? Really? Hm.
I dunno, lads and ladies and etc. Kinda seems to me like this dude was crazy and at risk to begin with. You don’t blame every church or religious people when some schizo goes on a rampage because they’re hearing voices.

lily james // have you seen anne hayes around the crash site? we’re trying to make sure they’re still alive after the crash! according to the manifesto she is a thirty year old cis woman. i hear they’re known being an heiress. anne is also known to be fearless yet also callous at times. we have a couple questions for anne when we find her, we heard something about a secret they might have? such as she’s going to australia to get off grid for a while after being involved in a scandal! (elle, 19, gmt-3, she/her)
THE PAST:
born in london, anne is the daughter of a big corporate attorney and law firm owner. she was born into a very privileged home but never really cared about any of that, especially since she has had a pretty rocky relationship with her parents. after graduating from high school, she moved to california to get away from that environment. now, she realizes how much she misses her family, even though she will never admit it to anyone.
THE PRESENT & SURVIVIAL SKILLS:
anne and her boyfriend have been together for a few years, and given the fact that they both have a very similar background, they have a good relationship - a little too good, actually. a few months ago, after a night of partying, things got a bit too wild, which resulted in a sex tape being handed to the press. in an attempt to keep things quiet, they decided to get away from everything until things cooled down. what better place to do it than a deserted island?
she's pretty athletic, and the only survival skill she has is that she can fight. she took krav maga lessons for years and can handle herself pretty well around guns and knives, but other than that, she can't really do much.
SOCIAL:
anne mostly keeps it to herself, because she knows that if she opens her mouth, she'll end up pissing somebody off. and she doesn't want to do that while everyone on that island is fighting for their lives. she has a hard time treating people nicely because she sees them as tools that will help them get to another stage in life.

what your thoughts on jackson hinkle?
goodness I hate the man.
for one, he’s MAGA (what the hell is his MAGA communist manifesto). he’s pro-Putin. he spreads misinformation. and he’s a conspiracy theorist for all the wrong things. even though he’s anti-Israel, I think he’s one of those genuinely antisemitic people that want to see Jews destroyed if I’m not mistaken.
that’s so many wrong things crammed into one person. how does one even get on so many levels of morally incorrect?

Left wing fracture: Anti-capitalist vs woke
COMMENTARY:
The Democrat's generally, who  proceed with the Post Modern Historic Deconstruction, which is a legacy of the insurgency political strategy of the Students for a Democratic Society, The critical historic method that you embrace, David, is largely an exercise in the libertarian logic of Ayn Rand's Objectivism and her core value,, the Virtue of Selfishness,. Both woke Democrats and the so-called anti-capitalist Democrats are playing with the same dialectical Marxism as the Jesus Seminar and  the core paradigm of William F. Buckley's manifesto for the Nazification of America.
Not to put too fine a point on it, David, but Democratic Leadership Council and antifa have been complicit in creating the conditions that created Trump. The Liberal "Political Correctness" on-campus cancel culture that merged after the SDS occupation of Columbia University in 1968 has been coopted by the neo-Nazi's since at least Carter's cancellation of the 1980 to achieve their agenda '
Youm\ David Pakman, are, personally, peddling intellectual hog slop.  The primary difference between your brand of Fascism and the Fascism of MAGA Conservatives is  your embrace of altruism, which is the opposite side of the same coin and Ayn Rand's selfishness You just like to believe you occupy a superior moral ethic.  To be sure, designing government policy around altruism instead of selfishness  produces a healthier society, but the employment of the critical historic method of Post Modern Historic Deconstruction as a   existentially grounded epistemology is purely an illusion,
If you understood Hege the same way William F Buckley and the deep state insurgents behind the January 6 rebellion understood Hegel, Biden's age would never be a serious talking point It is just more antifa 60s bullshit.
The short ver is, you wouldn't have a program without Donald Trump and Trump is entirely a creature of free mdia and the beneficiary of  the dialectical Marxism of Post Modern Historic Deconstruction,  Being anit-capitalist, and to the degree that is Marxist in aspect, is  a form of smug, self-righteous mental masturbation,
By 1970, because of the success of America's strategy in Vietnam, both Mao and Brezhnev concluded that Marxism is untenable and had endorsed Nixon-Moynihan's program based on America-Briticsh Constitutional Capitalism.
For all intents and purposes, liberal Democrats like you, whether woke of antifa, hav been out of the loop since 1970 and, basically, pro-Reaganomics
As an Eisenhower Republican, Biden is leading America out of the Boomer wilderness of Post Modern Historic Deconstruction and ito th future of the Green New Deal, Focus on that. and not your continuing source of free media for Trump and Fascist sophistry, Whether you understand it or not, a vote for Trump or none of th above is a vote for the anti-DEI business model of Elon Muck and Dilbert-epistemology,
we are a cunt hair away from the Green New Deal, Think like William F. Buckley and vote Biden-Harris, They are ripping the Fascist cunt hair to shreds, according to Hegel and American-British constitutional capitalism.

Book Review
The Feminists by Parley J. Cooper
Lots of readers will reject this novel without ever bothering to learn what it’s all about. I’ll start by saying what Parley J. Cooper’s The Feminists is not. It is not incel manosphere drivel written so some scared alt-right creep will have something to stroke himself to while fantasizing about dominance and power. It isn’t a red pill book. It really isn’t even misogynistic. It certainly isn’t some garbage extremist manifesto like The Turner Diaries. If you’re a loony Republican MAGA-type, it will probably disappoint you. If you’re a knee-jerk, overly-sensitive radical feminist prone to fits of rage at the patriarchy over the tiniest provocations, you probably won’t like it much either. But if you are level-headed and prefer to see things through to their proper conclusion before passing judgment, you will actually see this novel as an argument for sexual equality, power-sharing between the genders, and the saner elements of Second Wave Feminism.
The story takes place in Manhattan, 1992. America has just gone through a period of transformation where women and men have equal representation in government. But a small group of high-handed radical feminists are dissatisfied with this arrangement and seize control of the state apparatus, turning the country into a dictatorship with gender segregation, men forcibly placed into the most menial positions of the labor force, and sexual relationships between men and women are illegal without prior written consent from the inefficient matriarchal bureaucracy. This is where Keith Montalvo gets into trouble. After a dangerous liaison with a willing, nubile young lady, the radical feminist storm troopers chase him through the streets of New York after curfew. He escapes underground in the now-defunct subway system and meets up with a gang of urban guerrillas preparing to overthrow the female government with acts of terrorism, sabotage, assassination, and armed insurgency. And this group is not made up entirely of men. They have plenty of women who are just as dedicated to the cause. One of them is a sweet and saucy young woman named Angela who falls in love with Keith.
The villain of the story is the Thatcher-like Mayor Fredericks who runs New York City from her private mansion. As far as being a mayor goes, Ms. Fredericks is doing a terrible job. Food has to be rationed, curfews are in place, transportation is limited to public buses due to fuel shortages, the buses are segregated by sex, and the streets are patrolled by bully feminist soldiers who don’t like men. New York City has become a dystopia because the feminists in power are more concerned with their power trip than they are with managing the services needed to keep a society functioning. The American feminist president is not any better at leadership and the entire country is in shambles. The radical feminists prove to be incapable of effective leadership.
So far you might be wondering why I say this novel is not misogynistic. For one, the characters who are written with the most depth are two women, Angela and Mayor Fredericks. Angela is the daughter of a prominent radical feminist and, while her feelings about her mother are confusing and contradictory, she loves her all the same as can be seen near the end during the assassination attempt in the theater. Angela opposes the matriarchal government, but she doesn’t oppose sexual equality throughout all of society. Compared to her lover Keith, she is portrayed with far more depth and leadership responsibility in the rebel group than he is. Keith is little more than an ordinary action hero with a couple small twists, one being the revelation of his identity at the end of the story. The other twist being that when the police catch him, he becomes the damsel-in-distress of the story, the maiden waiting to be saved by the noble knight in a gender-role reversal whose freedom depends on the heroics of Angela and her gang.
Mayor Fredericks is also well-drawn with a fair amount of depth even though she is a character who lacks empathy and a sense of fairness, having the sociopathic traits that probably propelled her into political power in the first place. She becomes morally conflicted when she learns who the captive Keith really is. Without giving away the ending, I will say that her actions at the end redeem her and humanize her after all the evil things she did up until that point.
Speaking of redemption, the other character who redeems herself in the end is the feminist president of the United States. Although her role is minor in the story, a statement is made when she resigns, handing her power over to someone who is better qualified to run the country. What makes her sympathetic is that she puts the needs of her country before herself and sacrifices her powerful position for the greater good of society. She admits that she wasn’t a good leader. Unlike a certain bloviating idiot who just so happened to be the 45th president of our country, she is smart enough to know when to quit. So while this novel attacks a fictitious matriarchy, it doesn’t indulge in misogyny, it isn’t full of male chauvinism, and it largely refrains from even making ad hominem attacks on the adversarial characters.
Another reason this novel is more feminist-friendly than you might at first imagine is that the absolute worst character in the story is a man. Rinehart is a male who takes Keith on a mission to blow up the armory where feminist troops are sleeping. During the attempt, Rinehart tries to kill Keith. Fortunately he fails but he later abducts Claire, a spy for the guerillas who works in Mayor Fredericks’ office. What he plans to do with Claire can only be guessed at, but his speech to her proves him to be an incel type, a man who hates women because he feels he can’t get the sex he feels entitled to. Rinehart is violent and cruel and rhe author includes him the story to show us what a man is not supposed to be. Claire survives and goes on to be active in the planning and execution of the gang’s plots of terrorism and sabotage, another of the story’s strong female characters.
Most of the book is action-driven. It is written in the style of Hollywood movie from 1970s with wild and unpredictable plot twists, overblown combat sequences, gunfights, and a few good explosions all spiced up with a little family drama, a romantic subplot involving the two main characters, and a happy ending. It is essentially a gritty, action-packed thriller framed as a political statement about the need for sexual equality. If you are a fan of classic psychotronic cult films like The Warriors or Escape from New York, then this one is right up your alley.
I don’t think Leftist politically minded people have anything to fear from The Feminists. Certain radicals and extremists will be offended by anything that critiques the idea of a matriarchy, but more rational people will at least be sensible enough to detach themselves from the worst elements of the book like its being slightly dated in its method and meaning. And if you are still deeply offended by this book’s portrayal of feminism as you clutch your matriarchal pearls tightly enough to crush them, I say this to you: I have heard a lot of people say that the world would be more perfect if we had a matriarchy in charge. It is a dogmatic assertion and I don’t know if it is true or false. What I do know is that I have never heard any activists or theorists produce a realistic plan for establishing a matriarchy, running it, and defending it from the inevitable opponents who will try to tear it down. I have never heard a detailed description of what a matriarchy would look like. If you are not capable of providing these types of utopian details, then the opponents of your dreams will step in and take control; their version of your matriarchy will be one of dystopian nightmare. When that happens then you have already lost before you’ve begun. If your naivete and shortsightedness prevent you from reaching your goals, don’t blame it one anyone but yourselves. Sorry for my mansplaining, but sometimes outsiders can see groups of people more clearly than they see themselves. If that offends you, then so be it.
