Zack hadn’t meant for the gesture to be quiet so obvious, but if his hum hadn’t seemed to be sizing the other up, then his curious head tilt in the other male’s direction definitely had been. Something about the stranger seemed...familiar somehow? Like Zack should’ve been able to place a name with those eerily similar hair spikes and bright blue eyes with someone else he’d met once -- but that hadn’t been what’d caught Zack’s attention though!

“ You look like someone who’s been here before, haven’t you? ” Olympus Coliseum. The grounds around the arena were almost like Zack’s home away from home by now.

House of Sephiroth FAQ and Lore

What is House of Sephiroth?

House of Sephiroth is a romantic tragicomedy with hints of mystery. It focuses on an amnesiac darling (called the HoS Darling) and her deep connection to the six Yandere versions of Sephiroth: OG FF7/Jenova!Sephiroth, Dissidia Sephiroth, C.C. Sephiroth (Crisis Core: Nibelheim Incident), FF7R Sephiroth, Female Sephiroth and AC Sephiroth.

A divine force has transported the Darling and the Sephiroths to a peculiar house in a mysterious astral dimension. By the grace of the divine power, all Sephiroths must use the house as a base of operations to fulfill their aspirations and to interact with their darling.

As the darling plunges into a series of exhilarating, disturbing and (sometimes) heartwarming adventures, will she be able to uncover her true identity while surviving six crazed Sephiroths holding a deep, twisted love for her?

Please note: while HoS is a somewhat silly Yandere AU, it will contain Dead Dove: Do Not Eat content. Prominent kinks include, but are not limited to: Non-Con/Dubcon, Femdom, Breeding, Edge Play, Fear Play, Futanari, Size Difference, Mommy/Daddy Kink, Nursing/Lactation Kink, Impregnation, Pregnancy, Monster Pregnancy, Rough Sex, Mind Break, Teratophilia/Monster sex, etc... What’s the Story Behind the Sephiroths?

Five of the Sephiroths were pulled from alternate realities where they achieved their goals and were ready to start their takeover of the cosmos. C.C. Sephiroth is the only exception to this, as he was taken prematurely, during the Nibelheim Incident, and suddenly placed in this astral dimension. This is a big reason why his mommy issues intensified.

All Sephiroths claim the darling as their own, and she can feel the sincerity of their words, yet she cannot confirm them... As the Sephiroths clashed with each other, they knew they had to collaborate and coexist if they wanted to continue their goals and remain in this peculiar home that confined their darling. After many heated negotiations, they agreed to share the darling, alternating who had priority each week.

They may coexist for the moment, but each Sephiroth is covertly plotting to get rid of the others, take the darling for themselves and become the master of all realities...

Will Other Sephiroths Appear in the AU?

It’s possible, as recurring guests! It is essential for them to stand out in their own role through a distinguishable look and personality, rather than easily incorporated into the five main Sephiroths. e.g. Brave Exvius Sephiroth will be under 7R Sephiroth, Last Order Sephiroth will be under C.C.

Current recurring guests are KH Sephiroth, WoFF Sephiroth, Theatrhythm Sephiroth.

The six main Sephiroths and the Darling will always be the ensemble (main) cast.

Gangbang requests/prompts will always be welcomed and beloved!

Will Other FF Characters Appear in the AU?

For now? No. Perhaps in the future, as guest stars. Don’t be afraid to share some ideas though!

If you have a keen eye for detail, there are lots of references and important themes referencing other FF7 characters like Cloud, Aerith and etc... As they left an impression on the darling in her past life.

What is “The House”?

A House, haha. But to give a little more information: It’s an ethereal, mysterious house situated on a (not totally) desolate world, within a peculiar astral dimension. There are mysteries within the large house the Sephiroths and the Darling have yet to uncover.

The world itself is mostly empty, but there are occasional, hostile lifeforms and exotic nature that lie beyond the house...

Are The Sephiroths Confined to “The House”?

The Sephiroths can leave and return as they please, but the Darling is often stuck within its boundaries. The Sephiroth she’s with can allow her to join to him now and then, but eventually the mystical house will call for her to return.

The Sephiroths go out to dominate and annihilate any other worlds they could find, in this dimension and others. Though they are often gone for these endeavors, they eventually return to the house, drawn by their darling, their alternative selves, the captivating mystery of this strange house, and the world its in...

As the AU progresses, the ethereal house will slowly reveal its secrets and the stories of its past.

Sexuality Headcanon:

Unlabelled, but if hard pressed will say "doesn't make a difference to me" -- I also think he's full on demiromantic

Before he 'dies' for the first time I think he was quite casual about sex and the like in Midgar which was mostly a hobby of sorts since there wasn't actually much else to do in Midgar after the initial coolness factor wore off

After he wakes up different though, he's repressed city. The drive is still there, or it would be if he looked for it and if someone in particular he was soft on prodded him--but he is almost always rocking some level of derealization or depersonalization, if not totally dissociative in general so you have to Ground him first.

Romantically... eeh he's less restrictive on that because he's making the rightly false assumption he couldn't possibly be human enough to feel something, you know, NICE instead of BAD AND SHAME AND GUILT ALL THE TIME!

Gender Headcanon:

This one was a shrug always, just a vague who cares thing! I think overall he's GNC and likely agender or something along the lines of nonbinary, but after coming back wrong he's mostly concerned about whether or not he's even still a human so the gender thing is just beyond him LOL -- If anything, the lack of gender in general he feels after coming back probably plays into his fear of not being human anymore

As for how he presented himself, as a Turk he would be sauntering around below plate in whatever he thought looked pretty enough OR if it looked cool enough--whether it be a camisole with a dark colored lipstick that had alluring packaging Or a blazer he found that had amazing fabric that seemed to change colours in light! He's drawn to the abstract qualities of stuff!

As red bandana man, if he isn't sauntering around in his cloak, he's sauntering around in the most nondescript clothes ever. In the process of his slow recovery, given that he recovers, I think he would be inclined to go for a full-on androgynous look which would be the most comfortable for him. For work, though, he really associates it with masculine presentation so he feels quite weird when he makes the gradual shift Lol

A ship I have with said character:

VINSENG! Valenstrifesodos is also great :D I can be drawn in by the idea of Vinseph but in practice, ehhh, it doesn't fully hit LOL --also past-vinveld/future-vinveld, or even vinreeve, those two also are nice ships if the other guys aren't available to kiss vincent themselves

Vinseng is seriously the ship I have for him, and it's all based off the one au I have rattling around in my baby brain. TLDR for the ship basis is, Vincent finds purpose in caring for others and has chronically and historically been the person who cared too much for the role he was in. Tseng is literally THE SAME GUY but he didn't get turned into a science experiment. Every compilation expansion featuring Tseng has further added the narrative of him being far too invested personally, having too much compassion, caring in the way turks aren't supposed to.

They're both internally in opposition to their roles, still view it as a necessary evil (Tseng in particular doing mental gymnastics that would make an olympic gold medalist blush), think they're bad guys, and are RIPE for atonement but neither of them have canonically moved towards helping themselves because it's their disposition to let themselves rot. They both tried, and failed spectacularly, in going against their roles, with Tseng in trying to save Zack and directly going against the company and trying his damndest to keep Shinra away from Aerith for as long as possible--and Vincent in trying to stop the experiments on Lucrecia, and therefore also on Sephiroth. If they had been successful they would have literally changed the course of the entire fucking story.

I think if you smashed them in a room together and forcibly socialized them like two cats, which is what happens in my au, they would do the thing they always do which is care too fucking much. In this way, they seriously have the capacity to slowly heal together! I just want their cycles of pain and violence and self loathing to break man.

A BROTP I have with said character:

Honestly, not any! I suppose Barret and Nanaki would fit this dyanmic though! I really like seeing it in fics so I'll go with this :D

A NOTP I have with said character:

Vincent and Hojo existing in a relationship together, namely with Lucrecia. I can't even entertain the thought of Vincent/Hojo in general--and I mean this in a romantic ship sense, fucked up stuff I'm so down for, but I take ship to mean literal relationship in which there is a semblance of happiness LOL

Honestly Vincent/Cid is the only true NOtp for me because I can see someone who was an abuse victim falling back in with another abusive person, but I can't imagine myself liking this ship in any circumstance LOL I don't even like it in the fucked up way. I just am not the biggest fan of Cid I've found.

A random headcanon(s):

His mother was absent and he never met her, and his father was negligent in that he was abroad for work and rarely spared time for Vincent, so his childhood was pretty lonely.

He's from one of the islands off the coast of Wutai, their region was under occupation and he was almost displaced. He grew up under the occupation and subsequently learned their language as a tool of survival. During the fullstart of the fight back against the Kisaragi led occupation, his father panicked and pulled strings to get Vincent out. He started going fulltime to university as a student after that and even graduated early but it still wasn't what he wanted, so he left for Midgar.

Names and stuff of the place and language of the Island he's from I'm sparse on as I haven't gotten around to settling on etymology, but generally the basis will be Korean and Thai oriented :D In a similar vein, the Midgar language I had considered Nordic but since they're directly next to the plains there's probably Celtic too, but since the President Shinra is THE white guy of all time in the story I gravitate towards calling the language in Midgar Seaxe (anglo-saxon)

General Opinion over said character:

I LOVE YOU BANDANA MAN! This guy deserves to heal so hard. FUCK! He's an amazing character and I want to put him in so many situations. I also want to put him in my mouth like a chew toy.

I got this new AU:

Basically, it's an Isekai AU for Final Fantasy VII. Zack Fair is the main character, and post FF7 Rebirth, he was just walking outside the Church in the Sector 5 Slums, when he's suddenly transported to a different world!

He was summoned there for a reason: Someone's prayers, which were heard at the Summoner's Platform, called for him, so they summoned him to this world. And if those prayers are anything to go by, then the world could be facing a great peril...

Zack had lost his Buster Sword in the process of being summoned here, but don't worry! He's got a NEW weapon! And a new outfit as well:

That's right! Zack will be wearing his "Shinra Full Dress Uniform" (AKA Prince Zack outfit) from Ever Crisis for this AU!

Ahem! Now, for this AU, the people in it aren't just people Zack might recognize (like Cloud, Aerith, Yuffie, Angeal, and yes, even Sephiroth), but there are also some new faces that he's never seen before. (Other Final Fantasy characters, might even try to include Seifer and his gang in this AU as Zack's rivals without them being the main antagonist of the AU)

Now, without going into spoilers, the main story is basically Zack's various adventures through this new world (or more specifically, the continent that this AU takes place on), while he occasionally has encounters with a mysterious man named "Sephiroth" who looks just like the Sephiroth from his world, but even though he seems to be slightly helpful whenever he shows up, he also says some weird, cryptic stuff that Zack doesn't understand. And it feels like there might be something that Sephiroth is hiding from him...

He's also been getting these dreams of someone who he doesn't recognize (an OC made just for this AU) trapped inside a crystal, and she's trying to communicate with him through his dreams.

Who is this mysterious woman? Is she the one who was praying for Zack to be summoned in this world? What is Sephiroth hiding? And what peril will this world face?

Find out in...I honestly don't know what to call this AU so if you got any ideas, that'd be appreciated! (If I ever get to writing this)

“What do you want, Zack?”, Sephiroth’s voice felt as if was trying to pierce a dagger into Zack’s chest, filled with poison and hate. Seph slowly stood up from his sitting place on the floor, his bones audibly creaking, he hadn’t left the spot or even moved an inch in several hours. He brushed some dust off of his shoulders, a single spider jumping off his coat.

“We need to get out of here! Now!”, Zack nearly yelled, Seph making a face in return. Seph didn’t believe himself to be human anymore, but the very human feeling of a dehydration induced headache was just as real.

I was inspired by this ask sent to @altocat a few days ago. It'll be a fanfic with a few parts, and yes, I intended to make it as heartbreaking, if not even more, than the ask submitted.

Warnings: angst, AU - Nibelheim goes wrong in a different way, ff7 content so apply the usual warnings of the games to this fic

“Cloud! You pack up your mom, the girl you told me about, her dad, everyone you know in here. Run! I’ll take responsibility for it back at HQ, but you go and get away from Nibelheim NOW!”

Zack’s own voice rang in his head as he carefully made his way down the staircase. The wood was covered in wetness, making every step more dangerous than the last one. As careful as he wanted to be, Zack needed to be fast. Fast, fast, fast. He needed to reach Sephiroth as fast as possible.

Hot flames roared up into the sky, engulfing the houses close to the main square. The water tower had exploded, the water vaporized, not a chance to take out the fire. Sephiroth was standing inside of the flames, shaking like a leaf in the wind. His eyes were robbed of any humanity, what was once a comforting look for fans and friends alike was replaced with emptiness, screaming for something nobody could hear.

“Sephiroth! Why did you do this?!”, Zack yelled at his friend, his mentor, his buddy. “What’s wrong with you?!”

“Nothing with wrong is me, Zack. Everything is right. This is a new dawn for the world. Get out of my way.”

Zack had awoken soaked in sweat. It was barely 2am, the first sleep in several days after the appearance of Genesis and the reveal of Sephiroth’s identity. Only a hefty dose of sleep materia had managed to knock Zack out, but the nightmare…it had felt too real for him.

“Come on…I am not giving up on you, Seph.”, Zack muttered to himself as he ran along the corridor towards the laboratory in the Shinra Mansion. The silence made him deaf, hearing his heartbeat inside of his ears as the door came closer and closer. His legs were carrying him forward, his whole body on autopilot as the only thought inside of Zack’s brain became louder and louder.

He needs to save Sephiroth.

Torn pages out of old books, records and scientific papers covered every possible surface of the lab, and Sephiroth was right in the middle. His hair was a mess, his eyes bloodshot from a clear lack of sleep. No sunlight came down there and no clocks were mounted anywhere, Seph probably had no idea how long he had been down there.

“Sephiroth!”, Zack called out once he had stormed into the room, making Seph snap his head around, looking at his fellow SOLDIER with big eyes. Once upon a time, Zack had visited a friend of his back in Gongaga. The poor guy had come in contact with Touch Mes, and the various poisons had caused him to suffer from insomnia. His eyes had been just as bloodshot as Sephiroth’s, and he had begged for someone to hit him with a chair so he’d finally get the sweet release of sleep, concussions be damned. It had taken him nearly a week to recover.

“No. I am not leaving until I know everything!”, Seph spat back and turned his back to Zack, clearly done with the conversation.

“I am not leaving until you do.”, Zack replied, the chuckle coming from Sephiroth was something straight out of a horror movie.

“Good luck with that.”

There was no sense. Sephiroth wouldn’t leave, he wouldn’t budge, it was useless. Thankfully, Zack was a clever one, even though his actions might sometimes made his peers believe him to be stupid. Wrong. The sleep materia Cloud had used to help his pal go to bed earlier was nestled inside of Zack’s pocket, and with a simple swipe, the materia was cast upon Sephiroth, making him fall to the floor like a bag of potatoes.

And now, how to get him out?

Genesis took a bite out of his apple, his eyes gazing down on Nibelheim. While he hadn’t spotted Sephiroth in a few days, he had noticed Zack and Cloud being out in town together, making sure everyone was safe. But something that hadn’t failed to catch Genesis’ attention was the increased security by Shinra, just outside of the borders of the town. Including artillery and enough bombs to level a city. Hu. He took another bite out of his dumbapple, its taste just how he knew it from back home. His beautifully, bombed home. What was going on down there?

It took Zack several hours to drag Sephiroth out of the laboratory, up the stairs and through the mansion. By now, the sun had risen, but the town was empty. Cloud had listened to his friend’s advice and managed to get everyone to leave. By now, Zack knew Cloud’s childhood home like the back of his hand, and the few more meters dragging Sephiroth along weren’t too bad. The door was unlocked and once inside, Zack dropped Sephiroth into the nearest bed.

“We cannot do this, Tseng!”, Cissnei crossed her arms, standing in front of the prepared gun arsenal. “We cannot let this happen, after everything Zack has done for us!”, Reno butted in, placing his hand on Cissnei’s shoulder in support.

“They are right and you know it!”, came one last resort from Rude’s side, backing his mates up.

Tseng rubbed over his temples, trying to think of an option that’d make everyone happy. They had gotten hold of the information. They knew Zack and Sephiroth would be used as monkeys for Hojo’s experiments. They knew the pain it’d cause them both. Despite the rare overlaps between the Turks and SOLDIER, Tseng had heard first hand of the experiments on Sephiroth. He had seen the pictures of ‘progress’ presented by Hojo with a sick pleasure which even made Tseng’s stomach turn around. He knew how badly Sephiroth was punished back when he came back from a mission with some candies in his pockets, a lollipop hanging from his lips. A thankful little girl had given her hero her last bit of candy supply, a grand gesture for saving her father’s life. Hojo denied Sephiroth any kind of food for a week, feeding him with a tube only. At this point, Sephiroth was 10 years old.

“Fine. Cissnei, do you remember the throwaway PHP I gave you ages ago? Use it. Warn Zack and Sephiroth.”

Sephiroth awoke minutes after getting tucked in involuntarily. His body felt warm for the first time in days, the water bottle Zack had placed under the cover with him comforted him like a hug. “Where am I?”

“We are in Cloud’s home. They, uhm, have left for the day and Claudia told me to make ourselves a home! Here, I made you some tea!”, Zack grinned as he watched Sephiroth sit up, stretching his hurting limbs and rubbing his eyes. The sleep he hadn’t consented too wasn’t too pleasant, but it wasn’t unwelcome. Sephiroth took a sip from the tea, the warmth going down his throat and settling in his empty stomach. Only now, Sephiroth realized how hungry he was.

“Zack…do monsters feel hunger? Do they feel cravings?”

“I don’t think so, Seph. I don’t think a Bandersnatch wakes up one morning and goes ‘Oh, today I wanna eat a Hedgehog Pie today! Quite tasty, its meat is so tasty and lean, and its spikes serve as toothpicks!”

“Hm.”

“Are you craving something?”

“I would actually like some noodle soup.”

Before Zack could give Sephiroth a witty reply, he heard the noise of his phone receiving a message. With a smile he took it out and started to read, his smile growing smaller with every word he read.

“Sephiroth. We have to get out of here.”, Zack stumbled over his words, eyes wide as he showed Sephiroth the message.

Still confused and a bit groggy, it took Sephiroth a solid few seconds to read the message and to understand it. The second it hit him, he threw the blanket off of his body, nearly falling over his own feet as they ran towards the door. But before they could make it out, the first bomb exploded onto the house vis-a-vis to the one they were in, knocking the two out cold.

Get out of Nibelheim. Bombing incoming. Get to Kalm asap. Meet u there. -c

it’s finally done! this is my entry for the @turksfanexchange for @thedarling - i went with the second request:

"Seventh Heaven AU": This is a faux-coffeeshop AU where the Turks meet up at Seventh Heaven for drinks to chat/hang out. What's discussed or what transpires can be as silly or as serious as you want, and the event can happen at any time (during or after the main events of FF7 OG or FF7 Remake; Advent Children and so on).

I would LOVE to see Tifa if possible (obvi) or any other Avalanche members for that matter, but I will completely leave it up to the author/artist to do so.

so here we have four of the main Turks at Seventh Heaven, hanging out and having a few drinks! I went with the 'main' Turks that appear in the main FF7 game (so unfortunately that excluded Cissnei) just taking a breather. Tseng's having a glass of wine as well as a glass of water (via my boyfriend's suggestion that Tseng looks like he'd be on top of things well enough to drink water as well as wine) and looking completely done with Reno, Elena's having a cocktail delivered to her courtesy of Tifa, Reno's on his third bottle of beer, and Rude's having a nice glass of whiskey and looking at Reno judgmentally because he's gotta deal with a very very drunk partner after all this, and the three Avalanche members [I wasn't sure if I wanted to include Barret and/or Cloud so I included the other three, I hope that's okay!] at the bar counter itself talking and doing normal bartender stuff because they wanna help Tifa out.

I really had a lot of fun doing this fanart, it's technically my first piece of Final Fantasy art ever! Did a lot of experimenting, especially in shading the hair and skin (which turned out to be a huge improvement to how I usually do it) and backgrounds and lighting are still something I need to work on, but I'm really happy with how this turned out!!

I also wanna give a few thanks to some people!

Huge thanks to Leo, my boyfriend, for constantly encouraging me and giving me some feedback - it really added some nice finishing touches for this piece!
