is it way off base to think the butt crushers are/were trying to help lucy but, because they didn’t have the breadth of experience as say the bad kids have through the sheer variety of encounters, just couldn’t face whatever god or monster came for her (or came for all of them)? and now they’re seeking a resolution with better skill and intention following a huge motivating loss
like maybe their heel turn is more about revenge on lucy’s behalf and the bad kids just happen to be in their way because the bad kids are always at the center of some deep shit lmao

Hiii just popping out to say thank you for feeding my sagau reader x furina brainroot by small interactions in "Even the Gods bleed." (Sorry if I wrote it incorrectly, I didn't get proper sleep.)
They way reader tugged at Furina's cheek— hell yeah your Grace I understand you.
i am always down to feed other furina enjoyers. at some point i need to give furi her own solo fic with reader but i know im gonna make it like triple the length of everything else..favoritism at its finest!! and proud of it. furina gets priority in everything.

Panel one has a view into Kakashi's bedroom from just outside the open window. We look over the bed where Tenzō's Anbu mask is resting and past the flapping curtain, and see the spot where Kakashi and Tenzō are sitting. Tenzō, still crouched by the side of Kakashi's bed, is mostly hidden aside from the top of his head.
Kakashi is sitting with a loose, tired posture, looking wryly out the open window.
"And then you came to my apartment, " Kakashi says. "Maybe it felt safe and secluded enough to have your breakdown in. Which is flattering, but to be fair, my wards are usually immaculate."
The second panel, they are sitting, knees touching knees, facing each other. Kakashi's eyes are closed, like he's trying to force a smile, but not succeeding very well. He has one arm wrapped around himself.
Tenzō is leaning forward towards Kakashi, eyebrows low over his eyes.
"But I didn't plan—I didn't choose to do this, to feel this," Tenzō argues.
"Who would?" Kakashi asks.
He continues, "The only drawback of having trust, of having a place to be vulnerable, is that sometimes you'll have to be vulnerable in it, I guess. Hurts, huh?"

drabbles pt. ?????
adding on to my spot headcanons heres an interaction between olivia o. and spot pre incident i thought about (the headcanon specifically that he cuffs his jeans specifically to show off his obnoxiously patterned long socks)
olivia has stopped in the middle of her tracks, seeing her co worker in the most atrocious socks in the history of clothing in the entire multiverse. this commences.
"nice socks"
"oh, do you like them? thank you! i got them 60% off,"
"they're... interesting,"
"is that... bad??? what does interesting mean..."
"whatever makes you happy, dr. ohnn. they're okay."
"but.... interesting's not exactly like.. the best? what does that mean?"
"i'm so sorry, but... they're orange... with avocados on them??? its a little out there."
"avocado grenades, actually."
"that further proves my point."
"but- dang, alright. are they really bad?"
"no, they're fine, im messing with you."
"they're grenades, octavius, they're a little cool."
"yeah, maybe they are. my mistake."

Pros to ffxvi:
-gay party member
-pretty game
-combat is brilliant
-apparently the thesis of the game is about different kinds of love, which is an idea I really like bc I love love
Cons to ffxvi:
-my friend said he skipped over half the cutscenes in the demo bc it felt like the kind of fantasy novel that feels vaguely racist but you can't quite pin down why, and he didn't even know about the shit yoship said about not having black people in the game for "historical accuracy"
-same friend (who is straight) said it's excruciatingly heterosexual & very vanilla with its approach to writing both the romance & the plot
-i personally think the character designs are a HUGE step back from the often costume & musical performance-inspired characters of literally every other ff game except maybe 12, 11, and 14. (Yes im including 1-5. Look at the art for them. They're super glam rock (not quite as glam rock as 6 but still) and even the designs that aren't have a certain flair and grace to them!!!) And those games still have like, queer vibes & at the very least dont feel basic as fuck
-my mother (who loves hallmark) says the characters look and feel like a bunch of hallmark actors (this was an insult, she was clear about that)
-the shit that yoship said about "historical accuracy" and the pervasive whiteness of everything I've seen in the game
-no turn based elements at all ;_; but that's a super personal criticism
-no lesbians :( (though this was expected and also an extremely personal criticism)
-potentially no chocobos?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
