Venus in 11th/Aquarius people, can see the start and the end of a relationship and can see how the relationship will play out in the minds before it even happens.
Tumblr media
If they feel like there is something in the relationship that they desire to experience, then they will be open to a bond. If not, they would rather love from a distance.
They know that sometimes things are better left alone.
They have many imaginary relationships in their minds but the other person will never know.
If they see that their partner needs to grow in a different direction, they will end the relationship. They are the type that may meet up with their lover again after years apart and continue the relationship like nothing ever happened.
Tumblr media
They like to challenge those in authority every now and again.
In love they enjoy being stimulated mentally. They only accept partner who allows them to be 100% themselves. They are turned off by those who inhibit them. They understand that they are different but they don't see this as weird, they see it as genius.
Sex with these people can go anywhere and they can be turned on by anything. They have unique fetishes.
Tumblr media
They are very straightforward in their responses and approaches to things.
Private about certain parts of their lives.
Don't want big displays of affection.
In a relationship they dislike too many expectations and require plenty of space in and outside relationships.
People can never guess what they will do next.
They always keep progressing and learning new things about themselves.

I think what really gets me the most about Reynie is how his consideration for others and great regard for fairness and justice is so central to his character. Like, obviously this shows itself in ways like him helping Rhonda even though she would be his competition for the test, refusing to cheat on said test because it wouldn't be fair to the other kids, etc., but specifically what kills me is that he figures out the solution to the maze because, when he's considering whether the color of the arrows is important, he thinks, "But that wouldn't be fair, because a colorblind kid wouldn't be able to tell," and that's what leads him to remember Rhonda saying they could do it with their eyes closed. He solves the puzzle because he thinks of one solution, then instantly thinks, "Well, if that were the solution, it'd be a bad puzzle because it wouldn't give everyone an honest shot." Anyway I love Reynie so much it's unreal

if gavi isn’t given the captain armband for next season, i might have to throw hands. we alrdy know what an amazing leader he is, but i think this really seals the deal. he’s been slandered by the media ever since he was 17, not once did he ever come out and defend himself, but the second he sees cubarsí getting called “disappointing”, he is so quick to defend him. truly captain material 💙❤️

Once again mad about how the The Mysterious Benedict Society tv show said the four main children’s pre-show traumas revolve around them feeling unwanted, abandoned, and alone and that this is the exact situation that led our villain to where he is today. And all of the kids have the potential to end up like him, only guess what? The don’t. Because they aren’t alone, unwanted, and abandoned anymore. They have each other, and they have a family. They might fight, they might make mistakes sometimes, they might hurt each other, but they will always be there to pick each other up and remind each other who they are. And then after setting up such good redemption and family-focused themes and plot lines that emphasize forgiveness, healing, and the best in humanity, the show was cancelled after two seasons and left plot lines hanging for no reason. 💔

the first season of MBS on Disney+ really was THAT show huh. like. a show with a distinct and creative style. engaging characters, most of which felt developed and compelling. an interesting storyline that had been cleverly adapted from its source material to better suit a modern tv audience. i cannot stop talking about the art direction of this show like it wore its references on its sleeve but not in a way that felt derivative. and the wes anderson-esque feel of the show also felt appropriate given the absurdity of its characters and plot. but it WORKED. it was a UNIQUE, CREATIVE, HEARTFELT show.
i do honestly think it fell off in its second season (WHY would you want to shorten down the episodes), but im still SO upset that this show was cancelled and is now gone forever.

i get that the shows from watcher are super high quality and impressive and stuff, but taking something that has always been free and locking it behind a paywall when the majority of your audience are college students who don't have 6 bucks a *month* to spare is ???? kinda very weird ??? esp when those people are the ones that helped the company grow into what it is .and hyping it up as this 'big thing that's coming in a week! it's gonna be so great for everyone!' is also super weird when the announcement is just that you're gonna kick out a shit ton of fans and make the rest pay for another subscription service. they should have at least made a poll or something on their tumblr/instagram/youtube community page about whether or not they should even consider the idea, or at the VERY least thought five minutes longer about who exactly their audience is before just making a subscription service with way less content then the rest. don't get me wrong, watcher is great and deserves support for their projects, but that's literally what patreon is for ?????? supporting creators and getting exclusive content from them in turn ?????
anyways tldr im not happy about the watcher situation and i think they should have thought about it for longer

Venus in 8th/Scorpio people, can be highly sexually confident yet always feel judged by others for expressing their sexual energy.
Others seem to want to shame them and bring them down.
They must learn to praise themselves and give themselves their own value.
🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They can completely change people when they're in relationship. They hold an unseen power over others that people either run from it or succumb to.
They are drawn to the darker sides of people since they too can relate to their darkness.. (Not specifically toxic).
Their sex appeal very alluring. They are the ultimate Femme Fatales. Flirting, tempting and coquetry are how they magnetize their lovers.
They take pleasure in indulging in their desires and enjoy being in altered states of consciousness.
Their own power can isolate them because it causes intense reactions.
Can gain global recognition easily.
Tumblr media
These people have a daredevil spirit within'.
They live exploring danger and the forbidden.
When it comes to any relationship they desire 'All or Nothing'
They don't trust easily and have strong defenses.
They could dabble in witchcraft and can be cunning and patient until they get what they want.
These people are impossible to control and refuse to become victims under someone else's control.
Make amazing detectives *stalkers* and help people uncover secrets.

Can. Can I ask about "evil" Milligan?
Tumblr media
SO.
We all know Milligan's story: he was brainswept by Curtain, then escaped, found his way to Mr. Benedict, and ended up fighting to end the Emergency. BUT. what if he had FAILED to escape? what if he'd been recaptured, brainswept again, and this time successfully made docile, like the Helpers we see in the books/show? (Mostly the show, because, for reasons that will become clear in a minute, this AU is explicitly show!verse, not books!verse)
If Curtain hadn't known before, he would certainly know after that spectacular escape (attempt) that Milligan is too useful to just keep as janitorial staff, so when I was thinking about this scenario, I imagined Milligan as one of the Recruiters, or one of the Ten Men -- buuuut I don't think that makes much sense, because A) even if he were brainswept and indoctrinated, I don't think Milligan could ever be persuaded to hurt children (Curtain can't directly control people's thoughts, at least not at this point in the timeline), and B) the Recruiters and Ten Men are all "in" on Curtain's plan in a way he wouldn't trust Milligan to be. After all, he already knows that Milligan is a do-gooder who can't be swayed to commit horrible acts by just a large paycheck.
So Curtain can't send Milligan to kidnap or attack children, and he would probably hesitate to send him to abduct Mr. Benedict, either, because that would require telling him about his Plans, which he definitely would not want to do.
But.
What if, instead of telling him the truth, Curtain tells Milligan a sob story.
Curtain tells Milligan about his dear twin brother, from whom he was cruelly separated by the unjust adoption system. Tells him that his brother is a genius (like him), but was always... troubled. Jealous. Even... paranoid. And now, after all these years, all he wants to do is reconnect with his brother, but... his brother is more paranoid than ever, and he's somehow convinced himself that Curtain is some disgraceful machinator who is behind the Emergency.
Of course, he would never do anything to risk hurting his brother, so he doesn't want to alert the authorities. But he can't just leave him to his delusions, either, because what if his plans hurt the children at the Institute? What if he gets himself hurt?
So he tells Milligan this whole sob story, and then lays out the plan:
Milligan, playing the part of an amnesiac, will pretend to wash up in Stonetown Harbor and bait out his brother. Milligan will parrot a ridiculous story about being held captive and having his memories forcibly erased -- a story which is purposefully built to play on his brother's paranoia so that he'll come out of hiding, thinking Milligan is a victim of Curtain's. Milligan can act as a spy for Curtain, observing his brother to see how far he's spread his ridiculous fantasies about Curtain being behind the Emergency, and subtly sabotaging his attempts to harm the Institute and its reputation. And then, once they can be sure that there are no more co-conspirators out there that they aren't aware of, Milligan will be free to gather up Mr. Benedict -- without bringing any harm to him, of course -- and bring him to the Institute, where Curtain can make sure he gets the psychiatric help he so desperately needs.
......So basically, to Mr. Benedict, Rhonda, and Number Two, everything plays out exactly the same -- but, unbeknownst to them, Milligan's a secret agent, sending information back to Curtain and biding his time for the right moment to take Mr. Benedict back to his brother.
(Milligan, meanwhile, has to grapple with the contradictions between the story he was told by Curtain and what seems to be reality. Like how Mr. Benedict isn't a vindictive, hysterical conspiracy theorist, but a remarkably kind and intelligent man who makes very cogent points about the correlation between Curtain's activities and the Emergency. And how the other mercenaries whom Curtain seems to have hired to pursue Mr. Benedict aren't exactly as gentle in their attempts to take him into custody as Curtain seemed to imply. And how Milligan starts to wish, more and more, that his story wasn't just a lie; that he wasn't merely a fox in the henhouse; that he really was one of Benedict's comrades, rather than a snake working for Curtain.
And how, now that he thinks about it... he thought he was lying when he told Mr. Benedict that he'd had his memories forcibly removed, but...
...why couldn't he remember anything prior to waking up in Dr. Curtain's employ?
And why hadn't that bothered him until now...?)
so yeah. basically, Curtain is diabolical, Milligan is "evil" (but he's starting to realize that himself and he's very distressed by this realization), Mr. Benedict trusts Milligan just as much as he does in the original timeline (which is going to cause Problems for Everyone), and this all has to come to a head eventually.
