Drunk SOS Brigade headcanons

Haruhi: Emotional drunk.

This girl always gives the impression of having herself all put together, leading the SOS brigade with power while taking a lot of responsibility with ease. But despite her driven, spunky attitude, poor girly is bottling a lot, and it all comes pouring out once alcohol is involved. She will not hesitate to cry and vent, possibly clinging to you as she sobs uncontrollably. Despite the fact that she’d be hyperventilating and having an external breakdown all at once, her voice will be oddly quieter than usual.

Kyon: Funny drunk.

When this guy is under the influence, he REALLY lets go. No longer does he have his nonchalant, stern, and straight man appearance. Instead, he’s spouting random shit and giggling like a madman. He also starts to care less about masking and just says everything in his mind, which may or may not have severe repercussions (this is especially true for our outer-worldly trio). It is guaranteed, though, that he’ll insult you at least once followed by intense laughter. He also might walk into walls while doing so.

Itsuki: Flirty drunk.

Usually the respectable polite one, its hard to imagine what he’s like as a drunk. But oh boy, this man has a suave sultry way to him underneath, and it unravels itself dramatically. Of course, he’s not a creepy flirt, but rather a lot more bold and dashing. No one would be safe from his romantic gentlemanly acts (specifically Haruhi AND Kyon). He won’t try to kiss you, but he’ll do everything in his power to dance with you. Surprisingly, he has the most coordination out of everyone, even beating Yuki.

Mikuru: Sleepy drunk.

We’ve already seen this drunk girly in action (thanks a lot Haruhi/s), so I dont need to say much. But yea, after a couple of whiskey shots, homegirl is passed OUT. Her last few moments of consciousness would be slurring her words to you before collapsing to the floor. Even if she was neatly laid down on a couch, after turning your head for 5 seconds, she would somehow end up down there every time.

Yuki: Hallucinating drunk.*

It would seem like nothing much would change on the outside, but if you look in her eyes, then you KNOW she’s on a trip. But her version of a trip is not a typical one of course. Instead of seeing martians (which would be a Tuesday for her), she sees strings of code that just does not make sense. They’re all in a swirly mess, and for some reason, it gives her enough of a rush to not try and comprehend it but rather bask in it. Trying to cohesively communicate with her is even more futile than it was before.

*realistically, it’s possible she can’t get drunk even tho she can consume liquids. Like I think she’s immune to the effects or can at least stop them from happening. But for the sake of this, we’re gonna ignore that possibility lol

KawoShin is a hugely popular ship originating from the 1995 anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is between the two characters Shinji Ikari (The protagonist of the series) and Kaworu Nagisa (gay ass angel twink introduced and then killed in episode 24 of the series)

Kyon x Itsuki Koizumi originates from the light novel The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It would gain popularity after the novel was adapted into an anime. They would later get their own novel called The Misfortune of Kyon and Koizumi.
