But this screencap is also genuinely so funny to me like look at Mila. LOOK.

Every single person in the Russian skating fam is a disaster when it comes to people they're into. They just don't know how to behave (which, I am sure, is fodder for commentary on how much of their lives they've given to skating and how isolated they've become) and as a result are just always fumbling around in the dark like headless chickens.

Yuri on Ice headcanon #2 (Russian Family)

Georgi Popovich is known for his intense performances, and along with that, his intense performance makeup. Everyone knows Georgi loves his eyeshadow. He definitely has over twenty five palettes.

And because of this, Georgi starts a makeup instagram/YouTube account called MakeupByGeorgi. He most often demonstrates his tutorials on his own face, or Mila’s occasionally, but starting immediately after the WTTM purple smokey eye that made all of Yuri’s Angels swoon, Yuri Plisetsky became his most reoccurring canvas.

All of Yuri’s Angels immediately followed MakeupByGeorgi, not daring to miss Yuri sporting bright eye shadows, poppin highlight, and winged eyeliner that could cut a bitch. (That’s just how Yuri liked his eyeliner; sharp enough to kill a man.)

Once Yuuri moved to Russia and began training with the Russian fam did Yuuri start appearing more than Yurio. Viktor died when he scrolled through his Instagram feed and found the videos Georgi uploaded of Yuuri with all gold, glittering makeup, hair slicked back Eros-style, and his lips covered in shimmering golden glitter. The highlight accentuated his cheekbones and inner corner of his deep brown eyes, and it was dusted above his plump lips to make them look even more irresistible to Viktor. Viktor silently noted to text Georgi and thank him a million times over.

On Thursday night every week, Yuri, Yuuri, and Mila would come over to Georgi’s place where he would do their makeup after practice.

Sara’s face turned bright red watching the videos of Mila getting her makeup done, but was slightly disappointed because she wished to be the one applying color onto Mila’s perfect lips (but in a much more erotic way).

Meanwhile Otabek didn’t show it, but he secretly screenshotted every video that Yuri appeared in.

Viktor loved seeing Yuuri so confident and gorgeous (don’t get me wrong, Yuuri is gorgeous all the time).

The only time Viktor didn’t enjoy Yuuri in full blown makeup was when Georgi decked him out in full silver. His eyelids were covered in silver glitter that accentuated his brown irises perfectly, his eyeliner was on point, and his highlight gleamed as the light reflected off of his flawless skin. The best of all, to Viktor, was Yuuri’s beautiful lips converted in glimmering, metallic silver gloss.

Viktor had carefully leaned in to kiss Yuuri and was only a fraction of an inch away from sealing the space, but Yuuri put a finger to Viktor’s lips to halt him from coming any closer, and whispered in his ear,

“You said you wouldn’t kiss it unless it was gold. Sorry.”
