Season 2 Lovesquare was really on another level. I mean, each side of the square each got their moment to shine and some of the best lovesquare moments are from that season.

Ladrien mid-air catch? A Season 2 Gem. Marichat's first canon balcony scene? A feature from season 2. Ladynoir cheek kiss and the first time Ladybug blushes over Chat Noir? Why, that's from season 2 of course. Adrinette sneaking around Paris together while everyone thinks they're dating? A wonderful gift from season 2...

And that's but a small fraction of the lovesquare interaction we got that season

Season 2 was really onto something there...

What potential did you think canon Adrien had that was squandered when you quit watching in early season 3? What could canon have done better to make you care about him? Is there any overlap with your original salt au?

They could've done so much but did nothing. There was the conflict with Lila, with Marinette and Adrien teaming up together to do something. It would've made the love square stronger, with them becoming friends and trusting each other. There could've been so many Adrinette moments!

Also, Gabriel, his dad, is Hawkmoth AKA THE MAIN VILLAIN. And there's nothing for basically the entire series.

They could've had Adrien bond with Master Fu, it's kinda unfair that Marinette knew so much more and Adrien basically didn't know about his existence (I think he already knew about him in season 3 but there was no content of them, I think?). This would've been a good way to put in some lore, something about Emilie, Adrien noticing the weirdness about her death, or something about past holders and the miraculous in general. This also could've helped Ladynoir, with them bonding over their miraculous and their kwamis.

Just making Lila a bigger threat (and smarter, because she is so so dumb) would've made the show better or at least interesting.

I'm honestly not sure? I think he was always uninteresting to me,,, I used to read a lot of LS fanfictions because it was clearly endgame and the main ship and I think that's just where my interest in him ended. I cared about him because he was associated with Marinette.. I remember being kinda confused as to why everyone was obsessed with him xd So I honestly don't know, but I guess just having a bigger role in the story would've helped.

No, in basically everything. And I'm really happy about that.

Oh, I remember like it was yesterday! Season 2 of the Ladybug show was starting to be released and our little fan community had come up with the idea of Chat Noir becoming akumatized—“Chat Blanc” we called him! Such a delightful idea! I wonder if the creators of the show ever learned about him…

finally watched the season 5 finale....ermmm what was that

#LITERALLY ADRIEN DID NOTHING??? 😭#i was expecting for the reveal with adrien and gabriel but we got NOTHING. Oh Boy...

The hiatus was rough, nearly 4 months since the latest episode, but we’re going to get a big wave of episodes!

The newest episode, Destruction, will come out TODAY in Brazil in a couple of more hours!

The next dates are as follows:

Jubilation

It’s scheduled for October 26th on Disney+ Italy, but it’s possible Brazil can release it on October 24th. Just need to wait for the episode airing today to see if I’m right.

France will also start releasing episodes starting on October 26th, if you prefer the French dub, and will be releasing new ones on these dates:

Determination - October 28th Airing at 10:20 AM French time

These following episodes will air at 10:10 AM French time. Fellow (North and South) Americans, although it’s 10 minutes earlier from Determination, be mindful since France will have Daylight Savings Ending on October 30th!

* Passion - October 31st * Reunion - November 1st * Illusion- November 2nd

If you prefer the English dub: US Disney Channel is scheduled to release all of these episodes, every Saturday starting THIS Saturday, October 22nd at 10 AM EST. Although you might already know that if you watched The Owl House live a couple of days ago *still crying*

I’ve seen a lot of people say that this

Is indicative of the fact that Adrien started to have feelings for Marinette around the time of “Puppeteer 2”, and while I agree that there’s truth to that, I also think that there’s another layer to it.

The scene in question marks one of the few times that Marinette is emotionally vulnerable to Adrien (although she didn’t initially know it), but what’s even more interesting is that this is the first time that Marinette has opened herself up as a romantic prospect for Adrien.

Adrien has never actually had the opportunity to consider Marinette romantically, as she has always asserted that she has no feelings for him. I think that it could be argued that it can be seen from this line that Adrien has always had feelings for Marinette he just couldn’t acknowledge them before “Puppeteer 2”.

What I think really drove this point home for me, is when he says to Marinette

The fact that his feelings changed when she made her feelings for him known, indicates that he actually already had feelings for her, they just never came to light.

All in all, I think most people agree that Adrien has always been in love with Marinette (especially after what he said in Chat Blanc), but I think that the message behind this scene really emphasizes and confirms that.
