Ugggh it was free but I had to download an adobe program just so I could download the book I legally paid for from google (also ugh) play just so I could put it on the ancient ass e-reader that'll get here soon. There's got to be an easier way to download the shit you've legally paid for without having to deal with proprietary bullshit, right? On top of all that, amazon (uggggggh) changed their DCRM this very year to something Calibre hasn't been able to crack, so all the books I legally bought from kindle can't be put on the e-reader at all, keeping me reliant on the app on my phone.
Kobo was created by Indigo Books but is now owned by Rakuten, so the Indigo company doesn't get anything if I buy e-books from kobo, right? I wanna say kobo and Barnes and noble/nook don't have bullshit like this for the books themselves, just their proprietary e-readers only allowing books from their services onto the devices themselves, which is why I opted not to get a kobo or nook in the first place
Anyway I hate this crap lol. Someone once stated that when you purchase an e-book (or any media, really) these days you don't own the book, you just rented out the privilege to read it, and that privilege can be revoked at any time. It's so fucking dumb. I don't hate technology I just hate how it evolved into such bullshit. It didn't have to be like this

I kind of want to try making mead or ambrosia 👀
Obviously not right now because I have Shit To Do; but maybe during the summer after I’ve moved
#alcohol mention#Apparently you can make mead out of honey and I love honey so of course I have to try it#I want to make more food from scratch so I can reduce my plastic consumption#because my ten-year goal is to convert to a completely anticapitalist zero-waste lifestyle#Just for me… I don’t put pressure on anyone to do the same unless they’re well-off and being ridiculous about their consumption#Except for maybe encouraging people to switch to reusable water bottles if they’re in an area where the tap water is potable#(like where I live)#or flaunting my canvas shopping bag that I got for 5 dollars at a hardware store whenever possible#Okay I guess I do push people a little bit#But it’s all reasonable things directed at people I know are physically mentally and financially able to do those things#or I’ll just casually mention microplastics and pollution in conversation as a “fun fact”#But I’m not ridiculous about it with anyone but myself#I hold myself to some weird standards that I don’t hold others to and I’m fine with it#Obviously it’s the corporations’ faults that everything is the way it is and no single person can make a huge difference#But if everyone does one thing to help the planet; then it might buy us some time to change the system#There is also the issue of supply and demand; if more people reduce plastic intake then less plastic will be produced#But again: it’s very hard to be ethical in this society. EVERYTHING enjoyable is packaged in plastic and it sucks#(ok not literally everything but consider: most candy is wrapped in plastic and clothes have plastic tags and chips are in plastic#sushi is in plastic containers and meat is in shrink wrap or styrofoam and most modern chewing gum is a byproduct of vinyl#toys are packaged in plastic etc. etc.)

Slaughterhouse rules
some universal facts that i've learned through experience:
people are vainglorious & don't care about you
modern society is utterly bereft of compassion
transactionally speaking, money is your only value
friends made in passing are just acquaintances
simply put, you represent a means to their end
entitlement is endemic in modern culture
only the infirmed deserve special treatment
don't rely on anyone except yourself
live defensively or be manipulated - your choice
trust is earned & never deserved
always give respect to receive it
promises are made to be broken
never let your guard down for any reason
in summary, our corporate media (read: collective ego) has effectively conditioned most people (read: idiot majority) to be selfish assholes 100% of the time.
consider yourself warned...

Ok, so I live in one of the more liberal areas of the country. Our governor is a lesbian and I literally did not even know until after she got elected, because it was that much of a nonissue.
Lately, I'm seeing more and more local institutions doing things for Pride. Institutions that don't necessarily have to, or do so awkwardly, but they're trying to be good allies. And, even here, I see people foaming at the mouth. This thing is ruined. Unprofessional. Political. Sexual. Boycotting, disgusted, bye.
And a part of me is like, "Why would a random store, a museum, a restaurant, do this?" Part of my mind has been so corrupted by the idea of rainbow capitalism that the thought of someone just...trying to be an imperfect ally is a cash grab.
It's not. Every bit counts, and especially as we see pushback, and see some of those corporations beginning to rethink their rainbow capitalism, the places that continue to speak up are so, so important.
I'm reminded of a rant by Illustrious Old White Man Historian Gordon Wood a few years back where he lamented how fragmented modern history is. Why do we need ANOTHER book about women, about enslaved people, about the poor? Why are we focusing on these people instead of George Mount Rushmore Washington?
And it was an interesting framing, because he insinuated that these micro histories were bad not because they existed, but because they didn't give the whole story, which in Gordon's mind was a story in which they were the side characters instead of the mains. To that end a biography of G Wash that features the bare shadow of Billy Lee in the far distance is a complete history, all that needs to be said, because one of those figures is a God Amongst Men and the other does not deserve to be fully fleshed out as a full, autonomous human being with a family and a profession and a beating heart. And a biography of William Lee, war aid, professional valet, and person closest to the first president of the United States, with the shadow of George in the background, would consequently be Bad History, because no one is saying that this man didn't exist, but his story isn't the whole story. It's backwards; he should be a footnote, and if he's not, that's bias.
But for me, as a historian, I know that the reason these microhistories exist, and are so important, is that they didn't exist before. Before someone can be truly, purposefully, tactfully inserted into the historical narrative, you need to know who they are. Not just as a name, not just as an archetype. You have to get to the point where there are so many books flooding the market about women and children and immigrants that it's no longer controversial to be talking about them, where learning about them instead of someone else is normal.
THEN you can feel good about rewriting the more general narrative. THEN you can actually have the information you need in order to put things into their proper context, to rethink the most important figure in each story, to assess what the full milieu of the time is.
And that's where we're at with Pride. We are still very much living in a time where queer people are shadow characters in the background. They are people that many will admit exist, but for god's sake, don't make them important, don't make them real, don't make them normal. And until we can shove rainbows down everyone's throats to the point where being queer is no longer seen as a thing that is Other, until we convince people that we're not going away, we will never be able to fully assimilate queerness into society.
We can't just be normal about Pride, because normal isn't loud enough to not get drowned out.

Intellectual property is the currency of the modern age. If you’ve got a brand, a mascot, a cute little doodle you did one day while you were bored at work, it is completely essential that your rights as a creator must be protected. Unfortunately, the way that those rights are protected is that you have to sell it to a giant corporation, which jealously hoards it for centuries after your death. Are you gonna get paid, at least? If you’re lucky, I guess.
If you have a regular job, like zookeeper or assassin, it’s unlikely that the bourgeoisie will continue to exploit you after your death. A dead zookeeper is only good for at most one more tiger feeding, for instance. Corporate artists are going to be admired, emulated, and profiteered from until the sun burns out or future executives figure out that they were weirdly and specifically hyper-racist after all.
Ever since there has been a creative industry, there have been rich people milling around the artists, trying to turn the droppings of their diseased minds into trading cards that can be offered to the shadowy beast that is global commerce. Back in medieval times, this was almost a friendly relationship: a rich person would come by, and pay you to make some shit out of marble. Chances are, they’d stop paying you and then have you murdered as you approached completion of the project, which is why artists evolved the ability to procrastinate, but that’s a whole other story.
Nowadays, making copies of something is a lot easier than going out and hiring a bunch of teenagers who can carve a replica of a marble statue. And that’s got the rich-person class in a tizzy. What does it mean to own some cool shit, if the person who made it can just make a bunch of copies of it and give it away for free to whoever asks for it? How can they be expected to derive some genuine, authentic joy from what is basically a selfless act of creative expression, without getting to charge money for it in all perpetuity? These are the questions of our age, but only because the rich people also control the machine that makes all the questions.
What’s the moral of the story, if you are a creative person selling your efforts to an enormous corporation? You have a duty to be super weird. Whatever is wrong with your brain is not wrong with the profiteers’, according to society, which means you have to be a little more creative in your subversive acts. The ideal goal is to render the thing unusable, like a General Motors product, after at most one generation of humanity. Not only are you getting revenge, but you’re helping future generations: they won’t have to write a sequel to your hit franchise, and can instead make weird shit of their own.

you had always been close to your big brother, ayato. he was always protective over you, carefully selecting the friends that he introduced you to. it was the same for your sister, ayaka, though he was stricter when it came to you as you were the youngest.
you didn’t exactly have the widest friend group, a result of your own shyness. it took you a while to warm up to someone, so only those who truly cared to get to know you were lucky enough to see past your timid exterior.
as embarrassing as it sounded, you considered your brother your best friend, that way it hurt less when everyone else seemed to drift away from you. ayato would do anything for you, wishing for you to share the side of you that he saw daily with everyone else. he understood that you were simply more introverted than him, however, a fact of which he greatly respected nonetheless.
once he had moved out of your family home, you missed him one hell of a lot. when your own time to flee the nest came, you selected a place of study nearby the base of your brother’s company. you didn’t really know what he did for work - finding corporations rather overwhelming yourself. the regular coffee shop meetings that the two of you scheduled acted as a break both from your own classes and ayato’s busy work life.
after a particularly bad falling out with your college roommates, he was ready to welcome you with open arms into the guest bedroom of his penthouse apartment.
ayato’s friends had always enquired about his sisters, the questions only increasing after finding out that you were living with him. at first he would be sure to only invite them over while he knew you were out at class or a society meeting, his protective instincts kicking in. he trusted his friends, of course, but he wasn’t sure that you were ready to meet them. they could be rather loud and rowdy, a heavy contrast to your sheepish self.
it had happened accidently, much to your brother’s chagrin. your class had ended early and you had come straight home, a cup of hot beverage from your regular shop in each hand. you knocked on the door after struggling to pull your keys out from the bottom of your bag.
"ah, you’re back early,” the regular sweetness he had with you seemed missing, and you instantly worried that you had returned at a bad time. your brother was perceptive enough to notice the typical glint in your eyes fade slightly, taking it upon himself to instantly reassure you. he mentally rationalized that there was perhaps never going to be a right time to introduce you to his best friends.
as he took the larger drink from you hand, checking the markings on the lid to check that it was his usual order rather than your own, ayato said his thanks and wrapped you in a brotherly hug. you followed him back into the living room of the apartment, intending to throw down your bag and catch up on some crappy t.v. show as you decompressed from a day of classes.
you had to be careful not to bump into ayato as he stopped in the doorway. “i want you to meet my friends, are you okay with that?” you weren’t exactly sure why he was asking you this now — or, rather, you weren’t until you heard the sounds of two boisterous voices echoing around the living room.
there wasn’t really an option to disagree, as the corridor to go straight to your own space was on the other side of the room. you nodded apprehensively, the idea of new people worrying you slightly. your brother reassuringly squeezed your smaller form, before muttering softly that “they don’t bite, i promise.”
you stayed close to ayato as you approached the two men already sitting on your couch. a ginger man was laughing loudly, engrossed in his conversation with the other man you could not see from behind your brother. he cleared his throat, grabbing their attention. “thoma, childe, this is my youngest sister,” the same man whose cackle had been bouncing off the walls almost choked on his beer, having thought he would never be blessed with the privilege of meeting one of the sisters that his friend spoke so highly of. the two men stood up in front of ayato, of whom you were using as a human meat shield.
“this is childe,” he pointed to the ginger haired man, who had a wide smile across his cheeks, “and this is thoma.” ayato gestured to the other man, a blonde who was just as tall as the other two men.
you barely mumbled a hello, hiding your face in your brother’s back. your hand gripped the strap of your bag tighter as you cowered. everyone in the room wanted nothing more than to comfort you, tell you it was okay, and to coax you out. ayato instead continued his conversation from before you had arrived home, the other men following his lead. your nerves began to calm, silently thanking your brother for relieving the pressure off of you.
unbeknownst to you, childe and thoma couldn’t help their eyes from glancing to you; the mystery that you were shrouded in was getting the better of them. luckily for them, you eventually received a rush of courage that allowed you to peek around the blockade you hid behind. your body stayed pressed to your brother’s, though the others seemed enamored with the wide eyes you were displaying.
as childe and ayato remained engrossed in their conversation, a kind faced thoma stretched out his hand to you. “i’m thoma,” he reintroduced himself. the small smile you gave him as you shook is hand made his heart swell.
“hey, what about me ?” childe interjected. thoma noticed how you retreated slightly, using his elbow to jab his friend in the ribs. you snickered as the ginger yelped, beginning to feel more comfortable around your brother’s friends.
over time, you only got closer to childe and thoma. you learnt more about them, that thoma had the cutest little shiba inu, taroumaru, and that childe was just a nickname from some inside joke (every time he heard you call him by his true name, ajax, he wanted nothing more than to wrap you in his arms and protect you from the world).
they would come over when ayato was in and the four of you would hang out, watch movies, play video games. you each took turns picking a movie to watch together: childe typically enjoyed selecting horror movies (much to ayato’s own distaste) then would sit next to you, relishing in how you hid yourself in his shoulder at the scary parts; thoma was a nice contrast. if you ever mentioned a movie you loved to him, that would be his pick for the night. it didn’t matter how mushy it was, he would gladly take the playful teasing from his best friends for being such a darn sap when he saw the bright smile spread across your cheeks.
thoma was always the kinder one to you. when ayato had suggested some fighting game and handed each of you a controller, he took on childe’s competitive self while thoma allowed you to beat up his little avatar on the other side of the map. it was nice to have three men caring so much about you, practically doting on your every move.
thoma and childe had made a pact together, as soon as they had both realized that the love they had for you was more than platonic, more than brotherly. ayato could never know about it and they would be sure not to scare you away, though it didn’t stop their feelings shining through now and again.
childe was more handsy, sometimes not-so-accidentally brushing his knuckles against your own in order to see your flustered reaction. he was the one to whisper harmless flirts into your ear. if you ever tripped in front of him, he’d be the first to wrap his arms around you and tell you that you looked beautiful falling for him. the man enjoyed teasing you, though would ensure that he never made you uncomfortable around him. thoma, on the other hand, was more chivalrous when showing his affections. he’d be the first to offer you a jacket if you got cold, holding your umbrella for you at the first sight of rain.
you couldn’t deny that the more you got to know your brother’s best friends, the more you found yourself developing a childish crush on them. it was silly at first, though the butterflies in your stomach every time they showed up at the door or when you heard their voices through your brother’s speakerphone became more prevalent with time.
still, each time you interacted with them, ayato was present. he just thought the actions of his best friends were a feat of platonic compassion, never hearing the flustering comments or harmless teases that went on behind his back. this weekend you had plans to hang out at thoma’s apartment. it would be a great way to relax after a few tough days of work for them and classes for you. ayato felt awful as he told you that something had come up, and he had to head out of town for a few days to tend to some business.
“you can go without me. i trust them to take good care of you, if you’re okay with it.”
you considered your brother’s offer for a moment. sure, you were comfortable around childe and thoma, but it felt as though without ayato you would lose your shield. your trust in the two men still reigned supreme, agreeing to the proposition.
when saturday finally came, you were nervous. ayato did his best to comfort you, reminding you that it was okay to change your mind at any moment. it was rather hot outside, so you wore a pretty sundress that complimented your curves perfectly, coming down to just above your knees. your brother was already out of town, so childe had offered to come and pick you up so that you wouldn’t have to catch public transport or walk.
as soon as you answered the door, he wolf whistled at your appearance. your face heated up, instinctively pulling down the hem of the fabric.
“i’ll go change, then we can go,” your voice was barely above a whisper, refusing to look childe in the eyes.
“no need, girlie. you look cute,” a small smile broke out on your face at his kind words. “come on, let’s get going. wouldn’t wanna keep taromaru waiting for ya now, would we?”
it was no joke that you loved thoma’s dog. the comment made you laugh as you picked up your jacket, following childe to his car. it didn’t take too long for you to arrive, the excited dog pouncing on you as soon as you entered the apartment. you barely had time to throw down your bag, instead letting thoma grab it from your arm as you knelt to greet the animal.
“never thought i would be jealous of a mutt,” childe mumbled under his breath, quiet enough for only thoma to hear.
the two men did their best to make you feel at home, passing you some of your favorite snacks as taromaru fell asleep on your lap. any time your nerves would begin to get the better of you, they were instantly calmed by thoma’s soft words or childe’s calming touch.
during some random movie, you found your head resting on thoma’s shoulder, ready to doze off in his warmth. his heart grew at your sleepy affection, childe’s jealous gaze unbeknownst to you.
“hey,” thoma’s large hand brushed stray hair from your face, bringing your attention to him. “you can take a nap in the guest room, if you’d like.”
not fully aware of your surroundings, you only wrapped an arm around the blonde, pulling yourself deeper into his warmth. “you’re comfy,” your voice barely above a whisper. the way you nuzzled into him made thoma want to wrap you in his protective embrace, though the blood rushing to his crotch at your closeness was growing difficult to ignore.
“princess, if you don’t get off of me i don’t think i can hold back much longer,”
thoma regretted the words as soon as they fell from his lips. you looked to him quizzically, wondering what he’d meant. the poor man looked rather flustered, pretty blush spreading across his cheeks.
“hold back what, thoma?” childe looked at his friend knowingly, not being above teasing his friend. he was jealous of how close you were to the other man, and what better way to communicate this by playing with him. “something you’d like to share with us?”
“n-no!” thoma had practically yelled. it hurt you a little bit, the daydream of one of these two men reciprocating your silly little crush seeming lessened. your sleepiness dissipated, being replaced by curiosity.
“what’s wrong?” you asked him. thoma made the mistake of looking into your doe eyes, expression softening. “did i do something?”
“no!” his voice was calmer than last time, “it’s not your fault, princess. it’s mine,”
“i don’t get it, thoma. you’ve not done anything wrong,”
he tried to mutter an apology, an explanation, literally anything, but all that came out were stutters.
“seems like someone’s got a little crush,” childe interjected, utterly amused at the situation. “care to dispute, thoma?”
thoma’s face was bright red from embarrassment. the pair of them had a pact to never reveal their true feelings, yet now childe was playing the cards? he worried you would rush to another room, call ayato, and relay the events that took place without him present. your brother had trusted the pair with you, yet they were behaving like immature teenagers.
“i-i-i mean, umm, who wouldn’t like a girl like you, huh?” his hand scratched the back of his neck, eyes looking anywhere but at you. childe stayed silent, waiting for thoma to crack. meanwhile your own heart was moments away from fleeing your chest and landing on the wooden coffee table. you wanted to confess your adoration for both men, though you still felt as though thoma didn’t actually reciprocate your feelings.
“okay fine! i can’t take it anymore!” thoma was near yelling, enough to startle taromaru from his nap. “yes, i like you, princess. more than i should. i understand if you want to go home, never see me again. ayato would kill me if-”
your hand on his thigh hushed him. a small smile appeared on your face, looking up at him with wide eyes. “i like you too, thoma. more than i should.”
a moment passed of the two of you just staring at one another, both assessing the weight of your words. you wondered what would come next, fear of which prevented you from breaking the silence. childe, however, decided to clear his throat from the armchair nearby.
“as sweet as this whole dynamic is, i know you look at me the same way, girlie.” there was a touch of venom directed at thoma in childe’s words, making you gulp in unease. you just looked to him as he stalked towards you. “if you like us and we like you, well, there’s only one way around it. right, comrade?” he was addressing thoma. the two of them had discussed how they felt about you before, childe even implying that he would be happy to engage in some kind of… arrangement where they both got what they desired. thoma believed the ginger was merely joking, perhaps trapped in some sort of lewd thought experiment.
“i’m okay with it,” thoma replied, gaze returning to meet your own. “if you are, that is.”
childe’s hungry glare told you what he was implying, though you wanted him to confirm it. your silence conveyed your confusion to the pair.
“we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, alright?” thoma spoke up, a slight shake present in his tone. “if you’d like to leave, one of us can take you home. or we can call you an u-.”
“no,” you replied quietly. “want to be here with you, both of you.”
childe cleared some of the knick knacks from thoma’s coffee table, perching on the edge of it in front of you. “been with many guys, girlie? how many immature college boys have gotten under that pretty dress of yours?”
“childe, you can’t just-”
“three,” you cut thoma off, drawing their attention just to you. “never two at once, though.”
“would you like to? take both of us at once?”
childe’s words made the breath catch in your throat. you felt flustered, reassured only by thoma’s hand gently wrapping around your own. “please,” you consented.
thoma wasted no time pulling you into his lap, letting you straddle his muscular thighs. the dress you wore pooled at your hips and you felt exposed already, embarrassed and hot face finding its way into thoma’s shoulder.
“’s okay, sweetheart. tell us if you’re uncomfortable, okay?”
childe’s hands moved onto your hips, rubbing shapes into your clothed skin to comfort you. you felt safe, you wanted this, and that’s what you told them. thoma suggested that it would be better to head to his bedroom, so the three of you did. you clung to him as he lifted you up, supporting your lower body with one arm and caging you to his chest with another. he rested you on the mattress, situating himself between your thighs. he looked at you for consent before capturing your lips in his own, movements soft and gentle. butterflies flapped their wings in your stomach, euphoria already pulsing through your veins.
“don’t forget about me, girlie.” childe’s calloused fingers shifted your face towards his. his kiss was rougher, more possessive than thoma’s. you were on cloud nine, worried that if one of them were to pinch you, you would wake up back in your bed at home.
thoma’s mouth connected to your neck, pressing light pecks along the exposed skin. once he reached your collarbone, he pushed the material of your dress down your arm, tugging at the zip on your back. the fabric fell, exposing your lacy pink bra to the men before you. the blonde stared in awe for a moment, leaving childe’s playful voice to fill the void.
“so fucking cute, girlie,” his comment was breathy, blood rushing to his dick rather than to his brain. “better than i imagined.”
your face burnt with embarrassment, flustered by both the situation and childe’s forwardness. thoma’s lips were still painting your soft flesh with a barrage of butterfly kisses, slowly coming closer to your breasts. your eyes were screwed shut, caught in the daze of the blonde’s ministrations. he kept his hands on your hips, keeping you anchored to reality.
when thoma reached the fabric encasing your chest, he looked to you for reassurance. you opened your eyes when he stopped kissing you, instead meeting the emerald orbs that one could compare to a golden retriever puppy. it filled you with warmth, a giggly smile spreading across your cheeks as your felt like a lovesick schoolgirl. childe took that as a sign to undo the clasp of your bra. shrugging the lace from your body, the cool air nipping at your exposed skin made you gasp.
the ginger pulled you into a kiss once again, teeth clashing against one another. your lips parted in shock as thoma encased your nipple in his mouth, swirling his tongue around the hardening bud. childe took it as an ample opportunity to slide his own tongue in to your wet cavern, his hand resting on the back of your neck to deepen the kiss.
you were in a state of bliss as thoma slipped one of his hands between your thighs, tracing tiny shapes over the sensitive skin near your heat. you wanted out of the last few shreds of clothing keeping you from your brother’s best friends, and for them to be rid of theirs. your hips subconsciously bucked against thoma’s hand, desperate for more friction.
“princess,” the pet name made your stomach do a flip, “lay back for us, okay?”
childe released your lips, leaving them slightly swollen and bruised. he helped you rest back against thoma’s pillows before beginning an assault on your neck, this time sucking deep purple marks into your pretty skin.
thoma raised your hips, pulling your dress off of you entirely. you were left in only those pretty pink panties, slick sticking them to your untouched cunt. he traced a long finger over the fabric, adding some pressure around your clothed clit. the way you squirmed told him how sensitive your body was, how excited the anticipation had you. he once again asked for permission before dipping his fingers past your waistband, digits gently rubbing at your folds.
“hey, who said you get first dibs, comrade?” childe laughed playfully. you whined at the loss of contact from him as he moved to position himself closer to thoma. “can we take it off?”
a tender “please,” fell from your lips. thoma removed his fingers, placing them in his mouth and groaning at how heavenly you tasted. meanwhile childe peeled your panties away, eager to see you fully exposed and vulnerable underneath him. barely a moment after discarding the fabric, the ginger’s mouth was attached to your cunny. his movements were greedy and rough, making the knot in your stomach tighten at the sensation.
“slow down,” thoma warned, bringing himself to stroke your hair.
“what, are you jealous she’s already about to cum on my tongue?” your thighs wrapped around childe’s head as he dove back into your pussy, his pace remaining just as unrelenting. his wet muscle lapped up the juices pooling at your entrance, his ginger locks tickling the skin of your inner thigh. thoma, not wanting to be left out, offered lithe fingers to massage your clit, pushing you closer to the edge.
you could barely string together a sentence telling them that you were about to cum before you were falling apart for the first time tonight. struggling to hold back your moans, you shook as your orgasm washed over you. the two men continued to touch you until you had fully come down from your high, wishing to elongate the ecstasy coursing through your veins. it was a challenge to catch your breath for a moment, body instinctively seeking out the warmth of the man closest to you. thoma was still at your side, thus was the recipient of you curling towards him. he took you in his arms, engulfing you in his comforting embrace. he hushed you as you nuzzled into him, childe licking your juices from his own lips before joining your entanglement of limbs.
“you did so well, princess.” thoma cooed. “do you want to stop?”
you shook your head. “wan' you to feel good too,” you muttered into the man’s skin.
“it’s okay, sweetheart. we’re here for you, don’t worry about us.” childe added.
“want more,” you pleaded. neither of them were about to deny you of your wishes. childe pulled away from you to remove his shirt, pulling you towards him to let thoma do the same. you pressed sloppy kisses along childe’s collarbone, making the bulge in his pants tighter with each peck.
“so pretty for us,” he babbled. “can we fuck you, girlie? think that sweet little cunt can take us?”
you felt flustered at his choice of words, yet couldn’t ignore the heat that rushed to your pussy. “please, please,” you chanted.
childe turned your body around so that your back was pressed against his chest, maintaining the warmth that radiated from his bare skin. thoma caught onto what the other man was planning with great speed, helping him to spread your legs open. he doused you in reassuring forehead kisses before pressing one of his palms flat on your open thigh, the other bringing two fingers to the dampness between your legs.
“gonna make sure you’re ready, okay, princess?”
childe’s large hands supported you, fingertips drawing small shapes into your exposed flesh. thoma started gentle, easing a finger into your hole. he noted how your walls clamped around him and began whispering a barrage of praises, hoping to repel any tension or discomfort you felt. when combined with childe’s soft kisses, your pussy loosened around the blonde’s digit.
“taking my finger so well, such a good girl,” thoma curled his finger to discover the spongy patch that made your toes curl. he added another, massaging the sweet spot inside of you. your cute moans and pretty whines made both men more aroused, stoking the fire in their pants. thoma was sure not to make you cum just yet, selfishly wanting to be buried inside of you before you were spent.
“thomaaa,” you cried softly, grabbing the attention of both men. “please, need more,”
they took this as a sign that you had grown more comfortable, allowing them to lean into their carnal urges a little more. thoma removed his fingers from you, once again licking your wetness from his digits. you squirmed as he kissed you afterwards, the taste of your own juices feeling dirty.
“don’t like the taste, sweetheart?” childe teased, keeping your wandering mind occupied as thoma slid out of his sweatpants. your mouth watered at the sight of his cock springing to hit his stomach. he was bigger than other boys that you’d been with: a long, curved shaft topped with a blushing red tip. your walls fluttered at the mere sight of it.
childe laid you back onto the bed, making sure you were ready for thoma. he made no move to spit a jealous comment, simply focusing on your comfort. his calloused fingers danced over your plush tits, rolling and tugging at your nipples. you struggled to stay still, wriggling as childe played with you. your thighs pressed together, growing more and more desperate for some friction.
the mattress dipped as thoma propped himself down, opening your legs for him. as he rolled a condom onto his cock, his thumb ran over your folds ensuring you were definitely ready for him. he pumped his length a few times before aligning it with your entrance. your hips bucked up to meet his, to which he held your body down, hushing you.
“princess,” his soft voice filled your ears, “stay still. i’ll fill you up, i promise.”
childe came to his aid, palms keeping your body pressed flat against the bed. this allowed for thoma to grasp the undersides of your knees, pulling you closer to him. the man was slow as he slid inside of you, relishing in every squeeze and bump of your sweet cunt wrapped around him. you could feel each inch of him, bulging vein brushing over your sweet spot and length reaching your deepest parts.
“shit, princess. taking me so well,”
thoma paused when he bottomed out, allowing your drooling pussy to fully adjust to him. childe moved to rest your head on his lap, giving him the perfect view of your face contorting in pleasure.
“move, please, please, please,” you whined. thoma’s grip on your legs tightened, using it as leverage to begin fucking into your soppy hole. you looked close to being fucked out already, practically drunk on the man’s cock. he couldn’t help the guilt pang in his chest for violating his best friend’s sister in suck manner, though the feeling of your walls sucking him in soothed him.
your head lolled from side to side, making childe regret his positioning. your cheeks rubbed his own cock, prompting him to slip it out of its confinement of his pants. he opted for fucking his own fist, leaving you to be properly treated by thoma. even in your dazed state you took note of this, attempting to press sloppy kisses to the base of his length. no matter how many times he stroked your hair and tried to get you to refocus on yourself, your desire to take him in your mouth prevailed.
“wanna taste my cock that bad, girlie?” he chuckled. you nodded violently, voice useless as thoma’s thrusts had you moaning like a broken record. childe was surprised at your reaction, having anticipated being met with your regular flustered expression.
both men were on the same page, helping you flip over onto your stomach. the blonde continued pistoning his hips to meet your own, childe sitting back against the pillows. you leaned on your elbows, raising your head towards his cock. he was kind despite his incessant teasing, guiding your lips towards him. the pace was entirely yours to set, letting his shaft bounce in front of you until you were ready.
you placed kitten licks to his tip, collecting the salty precum on your tongue. he refused to hold back his own groans, encouraging you to continue. you flattened your tongue as you took his cock in your mouth, fist pumping the parts you couldn’t fit in.
“fuck, fuck, shit,” a string of curses fell from his mouth, “such a good girl,”
thoma noticed how your walls tightened at the praise once again. he should have known someone as sweet as your would be receptive to something so very innocent. once you had found your rhythm with childe, he raised your hips higher so that he could pound into you more effectively.
“you’re doing so well, princess,” his cock sank deeper inside of you, tip kissing your cervix ever so gently. your moans came out as gurgles around childe’s cock, vibrations pushing him closer to the edge. “so good at sucking him off, aren’t ya?”
“fuck, sweetheart, i’m close,” childe confessed. “want me to cum in your mouth, darlin’?”
instead of answering, you only attempted to take him further down your throat. thoma helped by rubbing a couple of tight circles around your swollen clit, the noises falling from your lips aiding in childe’s release. thick spurts of cum hit the back of your throat, with you swallowing each drop he gave you. you made no move to pull off of him until he had stopped, giving him a moment to come down from his high.
“do you trust me, princess?” thoma asked breathily, telling you that he too was growing close. you lifted your head from the mattress to tell him that of course you did. a wanton mewl filled the space as he pulled his cock out of you, repositioning your body once again. before you knew it you were on your back, knees pressed against your chest and dripping pussy fully on display.
“so good, so good, so good,” thoma repeated as he once again plunged into your cunt. his arms wrapped around you as he kept you folded below him, the closeness making your stomach stir. childe sat himself next to you, somehow finding his way though the entanglement of limbs to toy with your clit. if it wasn’t for the tight hold thoma had on you, you were certain you’d be thrashing on his mattress. cute little squeals left your lips, barely able to utter that you were about to cum.
“we’ve got you, sweetheart” childe comforted, free hand caressing your cheek.
it felt like a firework had been lit inside of your gut and was nearing the end of its fuse. thoma’s whisper of “cum on my cock, pretty girl,” sent you over the edge. your body shook as your dripping cunt gushed, contracting around the man sheathed inside of you. you moaned both of their names as your juices leaked out of you, dirtying anything you came into contact with.
thoma did his best to hold back his cum, not wanting for it to be wasted on the latex. he pulled out of you as he couldn’t resist the clenching of your walls any longer. “can i cum on your tits, princess?” the words still sounded so nasty, though you obliged willingly. your knees fell from your prior position, exhausted body slumped over thoma’s duvet. your chest was fully on display for him, it only taking a couple of strokes of his length for him to spill his seed all over you.
childe kept his attention on you as thoma flopped down on your other side. he hushed you as you trembled, sensitive with the aftershocks of your second orgasm. you curled into his touch, the ginger recalling your clinginess from the first time you came that night.
“so cute,” he cooed, “you did so well for us,”
thoma, now somewhat recuperated, hopped into his bathroom to retrieve a damp washcloth. when he returned to you, he wiped away the mess he’d made on your chest and any remnants that childe had left around your face. the gentleness of his touches brought back those butterflies in your stomach, body craving the warmth radiating from both men. your eyes fluttered, lids feeling heavy.
“tired, princess?” thoma noticed. “let’s get you cleaned up first. think you can make it to the bathroom?”
though you nodded, the pained groans you emitted as you tried to sit up told you otherwise. two pairs of hands were immediately at your aid, ready to catch your frail body should you fall. thoma was the one to take initiative, scooping you into his arms. one slid under your knees, the other around your torso. “now you really are a princess, aren’t ya?” he laughed. you felt weak, only able to shoot him a lovey dovey smile in response. he sat you down on the bathroom counter, filling his tub with water for you. childe had followed in behind the pair of you, providing you with his undivided attention as thoma drew you a bath.
“anywhere hurt, sweetheart?” he inquired. you thought for a moment, though your body had yet to fully return to the state of reality. the ginger picked up on this, wrapping you in a tight hug in attempt to ground you somewhat. his hand traced over a spot on your hip that made you wince, giving him the answer that he desired. his nimble fingers rubbed at the skin, wishing to relieve some of your pain. however, all it did was overwhelm your fragile state, light tears rolling down your cheeks. childe held you closer to him as you cried, the trademark teasing nature of the man long forgotten. “shhh, it’s okay, you’re okay,” as his words failed to calm you, he opted for softly humming a tune that he used to comfort his younger siblings. the only three sounds in the room were childe’s sweet harmony, the running water, and your quiet sobs.
“oh, baby,” thoma’s voice seemed even more gentle, were that even possible. the gravity of your situation began to dawn upon you, fear of facing your brother fueling your cries. “everything is alright, i promise you, princess.” the authenticity of the words felt like a blood pact, a pledge to protect you from anything that the world could throw at you. as your eyes met his and crossed to childe’s you felt yourself begin to relax.
“’m sorry,” you muttered, looking to the floor.
“you have nothing to be sorry for, sweetheart.” childe pressed a kiss to the crown of your head.
“it’s okay to be overwhelmed — god knows i’ve had moments like that too. we’re here for you, princess. how about we leave you to clean up? i’ll leave the door unlocked - just call if you need one of us, okay?”
you seemed to have regained some strength as you nodded, thoma understanding that you may need a moment alone. he picked out a pair of his sweats and a hoodie for you to change into once you were clean. the pair left you to bathe and stew with your own thoughts for now, ensuring that the couch was set up with blankets and pillows galore, a movie ready to play as soon as you were ready. childe had even ordered your favorite takeout, noting that you would likely be rather hungry after tonight’s events. both men would absolutely dote on you once you returned to them, pushing worries of your brother’s reaction to the back of your mind.
little did the three of you know, ayato would much rather you date one of his best friends as he already trusted the duo extensively - the only shock to him would be your feelings for both of them.

How radicalized and desensitized must you be to shoot someone over a seat in a cinema?
If the public had better jobs, with better wages, and a higher standard of living we wouldn’t have an entire class of angry and armed radicals ready to blast away. Republikkkan billionaire oligarchs keep much of the nation poor, angry and armed and it’s a recipe for disaster. Our society has become completely destabilized and is fast becoming unlivable.
To correct the situation we are in now would require smashing the fascist RepubliKKKan party, abolishing the NRA, severely restraining the corporate fascist oligarch class, creating a modern world class economy, abolishing fascist propaganda networks, and eliminating shithole for profit charter schools run by billionaires.
Healthcare reform, prison reform, strengthened civil rights, and diversity sensitivity training would have to also follow. At this point it will take generations to eliminate the hateful fascism that has swept the red states.

Most commonly, critical scholars focus on one major reason for the current expansion in the numbers and categories of mental illness in western society—namely, the influence of pharmaceutical corporations (colloquially referred to as "big pharma") on the construction of new categories of disorder and the promotion of drug solutions for those disorders. The institution of psychiatry is the ultimate authority responsible for defining and treating mental pathologies, yet commentators argue that the profession has been steadily compromised by forming close relationships with big pharma, who are now effectively setting the mental health agenda. For example, critics point to the 69 per cent of psychiatrists responsible for the development of the latest edition of the DSM who have financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry. Research has also demonstrated the close involvement of big pharma in the development of current mental illness categories including social anxiety disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. The more behaviour and experience that can be successfully medicalised—that is, reconceptualised as in need of medical intervention—through this medico-industrial partnership, the more drugs can be potentially sold to the public. Thus it is argued that the expansion of the mental illness discourse is the result of a market takeover of health care; corporations rather than medical practitioners are now designating what mental pathology is and, as a result, dictating treatment. The obvious solution to this situation involves the de-coupling of mental health services from the influence of big business. Tighter government regulation and oversight of pharmaceutical corporations is required, as is transparency within the relevant professional organisations.
While this critique of big pharma's intervention in the production and promotion of the contemporary psychiatric discourse is relevant, it is perhaps the least surprising aspect of the operation of the mental health system within capitalist society. Scholars of medical history such as Andrew Scull, for example, have profiled a continuing "trade in lunacy" which can be traced back to the beginnings of industrial society and witnessed throughout the development of modern mental health work. That the market is part of the workings of psychiatry and related professions should be self-evident to any scholar aware of the history of the mental health system in western society. Such critics would also acknowledge that while psychiatry legitimates the products of big pharma, pushing psychopharmaceuticals in turn helps legitimate the psychiatric profession. The prescribing of drugs is a key symbol of modern doctoring which serves to align psychiatric practice with other branches of medicine through a shared biomedical understanding of health and illness.

Tumblr media
The interaction is so short she barely has time to process it. She does feel her face heat in embarrassment. She liked the compliment and the sound of his voice as he said her name. She covers her face and shakes her head, feeling giddy like a girl with a school crush. She’s inside her apartment now, music playing in the back while she finishes the final touch ups on the painting. She’s distracted, though; she wonders what he does when he’s in his apartment. Judging from his suit and briefcase, she assumes he works in some hot-shot corporate position. Suddenly, the music sounds too loud. She scrambles for her phone and turns the volume down just a little. She pauses, holds her breath, and listens. Of course, he doesn’t knock. She’s just hoping he comes over and knocks on her door, knowing damn well he probably went about the rest of the evening without a thought of her. She sighs and turns the music back up before tossing her phone to the side and swiveling in the stool to finish the last details on the canvas.
She knows her neighbor, well, she’s known she’s had a neighbor, but it’s not like they interacted daily. He was barely home. That much she knew. Staying in the city, she thought things would be different, and she’d have this fabulous life. Back home, she lived a routine life of working just to contribute to society. Funnily enough, she was well off from parents she never got to meet and raised by distant relatives who only provided for her because she was blood related. It sounds sad, even to her, as she thinks about her life, but they were the facts, and it’s not like she could change them. She shakes the thoughts away, returning to mixing white into the green so the pastel could match. She sighs, her mixing coming slowly. She dips the paintbrush into the paint, and right when she’s close to the canvas, she pauses, dropping her hand. She couldn’t help thinking that something spontaneous should have happened to her by now. Sure, there were things like graduating college, but working was voided with the newly acquired trust fund. She took art classes and even got to present her work in an art showcase. Okay, she thinks, that sounds like bragging.  But, still, as satisfying as it was to have people admire her art, it just didn’t feel like her moment. Shouldn’t she have had some big love story unfold for her? She looks at the door, thinking of her neighbor. Surely, there was more to that one interaction on the elevator, right?  She rolls her eyes. Now, she’s just being dramatic. She slams the palette down, dumping the brush in the water container beside her. She stands and grabs her phone and keys. She thinks that a walk would take her mind off her depressing life story.
Luck must also be on her side because she sees him on the phone in a heated discussion as she turns the corner to enter the elevator. He sees her as well. He could have easily let the doors close, but he doesn’t. He nods his head to her as she steps in. She returns the gesture, about to press the button for the parking garage, but she sees he’s already pushed it. She feels that bubbly feeling in her stomach. She’s going to the convenience store in the parking garage; he could easily get in his car, and she’d have another missed opportunity to speak to him. She chews on the corner of her lip, thinking of something to say, but nothing comes to mind. She realizes it’s now silent, and she looks up. He’s already staring at her. She wonders when he got off the phone and looks away quickly, but he smiles, making her pause.
“Y/n? Right?” he asks, and she nods, clearing her throat. Something stirred in her. The urge to say something poked at her.
“Going for an evening drive?” She asks in a surprisingly calm voice. He shakes his head no.
“Popping down for a drink, it’s the weekend, My first free weekend in,” he trails off to count, “a month. Huh?” he sounds impressed.
She looks at him with a frown, and he chuckles.
“Yeah, that’s the reaction I normally get,”
“It’s just crazy, sorry. You should probably get some rest,” She says. She can’t help the hint of concern edging into her tone.
“What about you? A walk to clear your mind?” He assesses her outfit, leggings and a hoodie, her go-to cozy outfit. She can feel heat warming in her face. When he first saw her this evening, she was struggling to get her new haul of art supplies in the elevator. She dropped a box and sent pencils flying everywhere. Without hesitation, Nanami had helped her gather them before exchanging formalities, and then they went their separate ways. It was such a simple interaction, and suddenly, he consumed her mind.
“I’m just going downstairs to get some snacks. I uh c-can’t seem to finish this last piece. I paint,” She says, flashing her hand, there’s specks of paint covering her hand from her attempt at finishing earlier.
He nods in silence, and then the elevator dings. Nanami steps to the side to let her step out first. She smiles graciously. She wishes there was more to say, but he scoops up a basket and waves, once again, going in the opposite direction.
*****
The rest of the night is uneventful. She goes back to her apartment. All thoughts regarding the painting were thrown out of the window. She grabbed her remote and decided to watch a show instead. It was Friday, so she had all weekend to finish.
Later, she gets ready for bed, but sleep doesn’t find her. An ache sets into her skull. She sighed and tossed over for the fourth time. Sleep was always like this for her. She remembers the first time she experienced restlessness.
It’s one of the reasons she pulls frequent all-nighters when she works on projects. But she was damn near finished, so why was sleep so hard to come by tonight? She sighed and turned to lie on her back. The bedding was cool, her ceiling fan blew cool air across her skin, and the control chains scraped lightly against the light, creating small white noises that usually lulled her into sleep.
Tonight, it was irritating. She grits her teeth and rolls over, now facing the window. When she was younger, she remembers being able to reach others’ dreams. It sounds bizarre even to herself, but she remembers so vividly going from one dream to another; She hasn’t tried that trick in so long. It started when she was in grade school. She always hated sleepovers because of the strange power. When she was a teen, she tried to do more research on it but only came across a couple of stories that always ended in tragedy. She stopped traveling to dreams when she graduated college and moved to the city. She assumed it was because no one ever slept. There was always a club or an after party to the after party.  Nights like this make her wonder who her parents were and if they had this strange curse. Her heart suddenly aches, longing for comfort that will never come.
She goes to sit up but feels like she’s being restrained. She gasps, and her eyes snap open. She looks around the room, and it is dark, but she’s not alone. She feels the weight of muscles thrown across her abdomen and looks down for confirmation that someone is definitely holding her. The owner of the arm pulls her closer and nuzzles into the back of her neck.
“You’re up early,” He comments. She doesn’t say anything. Her hand tugs at the arm around her, alarm ringing through her.
“Angel?” He asks, pressing a wet kiss to her exposed neck. The feeling makes her shiver. She should be scared. Instead, she feels relaxed. He chuckles, humming a sweet tune, repeating the same action of kissing her neck. She hesitates before turning over and facing her lover. Though it’s dark, there’s no mistaking it. Nanami looks down at her with a lazy grin that warms her heart.
She’s silent as he watches her, with curiosity brimming in his eyes. She can feel herself smiling back at him, but she has so many questions. For starters, why, of all times, did the dream travel work? And why did it have to be his dream? It’s an intimate setting that she would have backed out of had she sensed it, but even now, wrapped in him she felt like she couldn’t do anything but accept his affections.
“You caught me,” She speaks. Her voice sounds different, she thinks to herself. Sultry and velvety, unlike the croaky mess it usually is in the morning. He smiles again, and her stomach feels like it’s doing flips from the way he looks at her. She leans into him, testing the waters, wondering if he’d remember this dream at all.  He inhales sharply when their lips meet. She pulls back but is surprised when he grabs her chin, directing her lips back to him. He kisses her as if his life depends on it, like she will slip through his fingers at any moment. It makes her heart flip. She kisses back just as passionately, nipping at his lip. He gasps, and she wastes no time sliding her tongue against his; he moans in surprise, and his hand leaves her chin. He trails his fingers up her back, warmth blossoms in the caresses he makes, and she whines.
A part of her feels guilty; this is her neighbor, his dream, and she was being invasive in participating in it. But how could she back out when he touched her like that? She gasps when his hands knead the fat of her ass, bringing her closer to him.
“Fuck” He huffs out. He pulls back to look at her. She shivers again, and her leg hikes up on his hip, pulling him closer.
“How’d I get so lucky, Angel?” He whispers as he traces the outline of his features with his fingertip, and she can only sit and inhale slowly as it happens.
“I’m the lucky one,” She replies, kissing the tip of his pointer finger when he touches her lips.
He groans when she wraps her lips around the tip of his finger. Her mouth is hot and wet, making him close his eyes and steady his breathing.
“You’re trouble,” He mumbles, pulling her closer to kiss her again. This time, it’s soft. He’s taking his time exploring her mouth while his hand roams her body. He grabs her throat lightly, holding her in place as he ruins her. His hands were so large and warm, groping her breast, he settled on pinching and rolling her nipples. He loves how she responds to his touch, her body jerking in every way as he continues teasing her.
“Want you,” She whispers. She strokes her fingers through his hair, letting her nails rake his scalp. Now it’s his turn to pant and grunt, rutting into her. She chuckles at his reaction, repeating the motion of gripping and releasing his hair. He curses under his breath, hand going to her hip and grinds into her. She whines now. The teasing makes her pussy grow wet with slick. She can feel it making a mess on her cunt with every slide of his cock.
“You have me, angel. I’m yours,” he moans, and it’s such a magnificent sound. She bucks her lower half into him, unable to control herself now, gasping when she feels him hard and throbbing near her entrance. She tentatively reaches between them, her touch featherlight as she slowly jerks his dick in an upward motion.
“Fuck, angel,” He whispers, throwing the blanket that covered them to the side. Without the safety of the blanket, she realizes she’s stark naked. She looks up at him shyly through her lashes. Nanami cups her face. He kisses her slowly, barely able to do that with how she’s still jerking his cock.
“Do you like it?” She asks breathlessly when he breaks the kiss, and he nods, wrapping his arms around her middle. He rolls to lie on his back and has her on top. She stays close, her hair trickling in his face as she leans in to steal a kiss. His hands massage the globes of her ass, rolling them in circles while he grinds against her wet slit. She whines again when the head of his dick presses slowly into her.
“Please,” she whispers against his lips. It’s all the confirmation he needs before he lifts his hips. She’s so wet he practically slips in, and they both gasp when he’s bottomed out. He trails a hand up her curves, and she sighs. Sitting up, she swivels her hips in a circular motion, gasping when she feels his hands on her ass. He flips them over suddenly so that she’s resting against the pillows again. She gasps, and he chuckles huskily at her reaction. He slips out of her in the process and unconsciously begins rutting into the space between her thighs with an urgency that excites her.
“Wait,” he mumbles when she eagerly reaches for his cock. He pushes her hands out of the way and strokes his cock once before tapping the head of it against her clit. The motion sends a wave of pleasure rippling through her, and she has to bite her lip to hold back a moan. He does it again, this time rubbing the head of his cock up and down her slit.
“Wanted to see the pretty faces you make while I fuck you,” he says before pushing into her velvet walls. Her back arches off the bed, pressing her exposed tits to his chest as if begging to be touched again. Nanami leans his head down to roll a nipple into his mouth. He pushes the flat of his tongue across the pert bud and then sucks it in and bites down hard. The shock of pain makes her yelp, followed quickly by a moan as his other hand squeezes her other nipple, quelling the pain. He thrust forward, hard and slow, and she felt like she would explode.
“It feels so good,” She pants when he pulls out. He smirks at her when her eyes flutter close, her mouth opens in a soft gasp, and she throws her head to the side. Namani takes advantage and leaves open mouthed kisses against her neck. She grabs hold of his bicep, mewling when he thrusts in again. She relishes the way he lifts her hips now to meet his thrust; it feels impossibly good she’s not sure what to focus on.
“Oh fuck, you’re squeezing me,” He mumbles, looking down at where they’re joined. He grabs her legs and lifts them on his shoulder. She moans aloud at the new angle, trying to meet his thrust the best she could.
“ ‘m close,” She pants out, and her hand trails down her body to rub circles on her clit. Watching her bring herself to pleasure, he slows down, loves how her pussy sucks him back in so easily. He can feel how she flutters around him and knows she’s close.
“Fuck look at you; you’re soaking me,” He groans, her fingers moving clumsily on her clit, “Poor thing, you want it so bad. Here, let me help you,” He pushes her hand out of the way and brings it to his mouth, licking messily at the liquid on her fingers. She curses at the action. The way his tongue flicks over her fingers is sinful, and the image alone is enough to make her come undone. Her breath hitches as he fucks into her slowly, he uses her fingers to rub precise circles on her clit, and she feels herself getting wetter.
“ ‘m gonna cum,” She can barely get her words out now; she’s writhing, hips bucking upward as he picks up his pace. He fucks into her with reckless abandon, his abs flexing, and she feels the jump of his cock and knows he’s closer.  She pulls him down for a quick brush of her lips, and then he’s pounding into that sweet spot that makes her gush, and she knows she’s cumming
“Oh! Right there!” She shouts, holding him by the neck, holding him in place so that their foreheads touch. It’s so intimate, she thinks, the way that he whispers sweet nothings to her as the world shatters around her. She has to squeeze her eyes shut and focus on her breathing to calm herself down. He cums shortly afterward, pulling out of her; He jerks once and then twice, letting his cum splatter across her belly in hot spurts. He thrusts in again, letting her warmth engulf his sensitive cock. When he’s done, he removes her legs from his shoulders. He leans forward and kisses her slowly, and his cock twitches inside her.
“Let’s get some rest,” He huffs, slowly pulling out of her. He inhales sharply, and she whimpers at the loss, but she doesn’t protest; she just lets him continue running his nose against the crook of her neck and whispering how perfect she is. She wefts her fingers through his hair, holding him close until her eyes feel heavy and she feels like she’s drifting.
She rolls over in bed. Her vision is blurry as she tries to read the time from the bedside table. The sunlight is blinding, but it’s only a little past 9 in the morning. She half expects to be in bed with someone, but when she looks around her room, it’s the same cluttered space with clothes littering the floor. She sighs and rubs her eyes, trying to recall the dream. She turns over, away from the sunlight, and touches her lips. Had it all truly been a dream? Does that mean her method still works? She wasn’t tired, so it must have right?  She thought to herself. She wants to ponder more about the dream, but there’s a knock at her door, and she groans, throwing the cover off her body as she stands. She stretched, popping her bones as she crossed the apartment. Her mind feels like it’s rebooting as she stumbles into the wall leading into her living room. She curses when she stubs her toe and hops the rest of the way. The knocking starts again, this time more rapidly.
“I’m coming, jeez,” She yells out, unlocking the door and snatching it open. Her eyes grow wide in shock at the blonde standing before her. He looks disheveled and is dressed in sweats and a white shirt. The dream comes rushing back to her. The way his lips felt against her skin, the way he caressed her body, and the way he made her see stars all come crashing into her. She licks her lips, but it doesn’t help; they still feel dry, and her throat feels drier.
“Sorry, the delivery guy got it wrong,” He says when she doesn’t speak, he stretches his arms out to her, a medium sized box in his hands, and she accepts the package, nearly dropping it.
“Thank you. Sorry, I just woke up,” She says apologetically. He doesn’t say anything. He simply nods and turns to enter his apartment.
She closes the door wordlessly and puts the box on the counter. She runs straight to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water, uncaps it, and downs it. She stares at the door, mind running a mile a minute. Did he know? She stares at the door. Was it really his dream, or was she that touch-deprived that she dreamed her neighbor fucked her silly? She tiptoes to the door, peering through the peephole. She knows he won’t come out, but she can’t help looking through, making sure he didn’t come back.
She sucks in a deep breath before turning around to slide down the door. Okay, so she wasn’t figured out. Relief washed through her. She makes a mental note to sleep early tonight to avoid an accidental visit. Her eyes land on the painting, and she groans. She was so caught up in her head that she had forgotten about finishing the painting. With that on her mind, she stalks over to the bathroom to rush through her morning routine. She returns to the kitchen phone in hand, selecting today’s playlist. With the music flowing, she makes a quick breakfast of toast and a banana and then throws herself into work.
 *****
Kento Nanami woke up this morning feeling well rested. That wasn’t a problem. He needed the sleep, lord knows when the last time he had actually gotten a decent night of sleep. He yawns and looks at his bed as he exits the bathroom. He was far from lazy, but he occasionally loved to sleep in past noon, especially if work was hell during the week. He scratches his shoulder absentmindedly, his mind going back to his dream last night. The way her nails dug into his biceps when he entered her. He rubbed his arm; it wasn’t real, but he swore he felt it. Kento sighs, dropping his arm. He looks down at his bottoms, his dick rising from the memory. He could just take care of his morning wood and forget about it all, but something in his mind bugged him. He seems to remember everything except for his dream lover’s face. He frowns. He knows it’s wrong to feel sad because it was just a dream, but he remembers staring into her eyes and kissing her so sweetly. It shouldn’t matter. It shouldn’t matter. He thinks. He inspects his room, nothing out of place. He wants to shrug the whole thing off and forget it ever happened because, quite frankly, admitting that he had a wet dream at his big age was sort of embarrassing. He chalks it up to just that and leaves the bedroom to make breakfast.
* a week later *
She’s slept like shit all week. She yawns as she scrolls through her email. It’s the middle of the day. Of course, she’d get sleepy now, She thinks to herself, suppressing a yawn. With her project out of the way, y/n had a free week, which she would normally spend sleeping, but she couldn't sleep, so she posted her commissions link online, and already her email was filled with requests from all over. She favorites several emails from galleries asking for her to send some pieces for display. She wants to participate in another showcase soon but needs a new project to keep her mind off of Nanami. She yawns and shakes her head, trying to fight the sleep. She checks the time and groans. It's 4 in the afternoon. If she can stay up a couple of more hours, she’s sure she can finally go to bed and sleep through the night.
She hadn’t stopped thinking of Nanami. She saw him on her way to drop off the painting to her client, and he saw, even complimenting the work. Outside of that, she didn’t interact with him, nor has she traveled to his dreams. It’s not like she tried. Well, okay, she tried immediately the next day and failed. She failed to visit Nanami’s dream but successfully wandered into her downstairs neighbor’s dream. It wasn’t anything fancy, quite sad, really. The poor guy dreamt of hitting the lottery, but when it was time to present the ticket, he couldn’t find it. She chuckles and cuts herself off, yawning.
It proves futile to stay up; her head rocks forward, and then she jumps. It was now a quarter past four. She sighed in defeat.  She shuts the laptop with a yawn; she lies on her couch, falling asleep quickly.
She dreams she’s walking in darkness, and then she stumbles and falls. She doesn’t hit the ground like she thought. Instead, she finds herself sitting in a dimly lit room. The sun is low but still bright enough to light up the area. She recognizes the black and gold decorations almost immediately. Her heartbeat quickens; She knows he’s here. She can feel his eyes on her.
“You’re awake,” Nanami speaks softly. She whirls around; he’s got a book in his lap. He tosses it to the side and ushers her forward when she meets his eyes. She goes to him wordlessly, seating herself on his lap. He grabs the back of her neck and pulls her closer. She wants to kiss him badly, but his grip on her keeps her in place. She whines at this, and he swats her ass in warning.
“Patience, Angel,” he murmurs. He studies her face, and for a minute, she feels like she’s not dreaming and he’s staring at her. Then he leans in, capturing her lips in the sweetest way, making her sigh into the kiss. He doesn’t take it further; he just stares at her curiously.
“What’s the matter?” she asks, worrying her lips between her teeth. He thumbs her bottom lip and rubs his thumb across it.
“Nothing, I just feel like I’ve seen you somewhere. Like Deja vu,” he says. She stills in his lap, and he pulls her close, rubbing soothing circles into her back so she can relax.
“I’m sure I’m just making you up anyway. I know I’m dreaming, but you, I know you’re real,” He says matter of factly. Her eyes widen in surprise.
“I”m n-not sure I know what you mean,” She says. She sits up far too quickly for someone who’s trying to be casual. Nanami doesn’t stop her as she slides away from him. He does watch as she walks to the window, her arms wrapping around herself.
“What’s wrong?” He asks.
She sighs, “I feel like I should apologize,”
He frowns, “What for?”
“The other day, when we uh…yanno?” She doesn’t turn around, but she hears him move. He’s behind her instantly, his arms sliding around her waist and pulling her to his chest.
“You have nothing to apologize for. If anything, I should apologize to you. I don’t know if it’s offensive just to do what we did and not follow up?” He says it like a question, and she giggles.
“What are you talking about? How could you call me up?” She questions. He shrugs.
“I don’t know, but I did it today. I must’ve fallen asleep at my desk or something. You’ve been on my mind all week. I was thinking of you as I was finishing up paperwork and must have, I don't know, dream rang you?” He says it jokingly, but it scares her.
She freezes in his arms. Her brain felt foggy most of the day, and she blamed that on not sleeping the night before, but now she wonders if he had anything to do with him.
“Sorry, that probably sounded weird,” He says apologetically.
“No, it’s okay, I just, I don’t know what to say,” She mumbles. He nods in agreement,
“Well, what do I call you? You got a name?” He asks. It could be so easy for her just to let her name slip and let him know who she really is, but she doesn’t do it. She opens her mouth before closing it, averting her eyes when he raises a brow at her.
“Angel? Should I just call you Angel?” He asks. And she’s quick to nod her head. Relief washed over her.
“What’s your name?” She blurts out. He chuckles and holds her close.
“You can call me Ken,” He whispers in her ear. Her legs buckle, and he catches her, laughing at her reaction. He begins swaying with her, humming under his breath. His hands slide to her lower back, resting just above her ass.
“So Angel, what will I do with you tonight?”

So. Werewolf 5th Edition.
Werewolf 5th edition sucks. A lot.
Edit- I made some errors in my initial edit of this post that were fuelled entirely by being underinformed and almost insensible with anger, disappointment, and anxiety.
Some very informative responses have been made that I intend to incorporate into a much better and less rambling post with those updates and corrections. I'll probably delete this one soon as I type that one together, so folks only see the updated version.
Sorry for any mistakes I made on this old version, again, I was in an extremely poor place mentally and thoroughly dispirited by the total butchering of what was supposed to be a less shitty and mean-spirited version of a setting I care deeply for despite its foundational flaws and 30+ year history of exactly this thing happening.
I'm still very, very angry. But it's important to be angry and correct. This post was not made by someone informed of all the facts, and I intend to correct that.
Paradox Interactive has made the brave decision to reboot the controversial Werewolf the Apocalypse setting entirely rather than try and fix it, and have somehow done a worse job than the games studio that released an RPG book titled an ethnic slur.
It's taken me almost a month since this came out to be anywhere near mentally prepared enough to even collect my thoughts on it.
Man, it is rare to see an edition of ANYTHING that pisses off old players, new players, players who want to keep the lore the same, players who want to change the lore, conservative players, radical players, and even powergamers.
How do you set out with the intention of making an infamously dated and poorly researched/outreached setting LESS uncomfortable and racist from a modern perspective.... and end up with something EVEN MORE racist and uncomfortable, but also suffocatingly tonedeaf, insincere, and deeply sinister and corporate in its erasure of existing issues rather than addressing them whatsoever.
We made the Get of Fenris irredeemably evil because some of them in the past were nazis and also nazis like Germanic mythology, so the viking werewolves are all nazis now.
Okay, I understand why you did that from a modern political perspective even if its kind of heavy hand-
The Native American werewolf tribes have been removed entirely and replaced with American Murican werewolf tribes. Renaming and rewriting them to be more respectful was just too much work! Now they're more inclusive. :)
The Irish werewolf tribe is now the Nature Werewolves tribe, like every other tribe of Werewolves also is, but also stripped completely of celtic origins.
The Red Talons are openly genocidal ecofascist malthusians and somehow NOT IRREDEEMABLY EVIL like the Get of Fenris are.
Also the feminist all women werewolves are no longer all women or even feminist. AND ALSO SOME OF THEM ARE SOCIAL DARWINISTS AND THATS SUPPOSED TO BE A GOOD THING!?!
Also we entirely dropped the themes about how forcing children to be a part of a war they barely understand while also lying to them about the crimes their ancestors committed that led to the current crisis is fucked up and evil.
Now its actually awesome to be a child soldier born into a repressive apocalyptic death cult with a siege mentality and everything is cool about that actually, you're the Good Guys, and no amount of covered-up historic genocides or internal/external bigotry will ever change that! :)
Also we solved the way people were uncomfortable with the idea that werewolf society is transitioning messily from being horrible ableist assholes that discriminated for centuries against those they view as deformed, disabled, or sexual deviants to new generations that don't care about that stuff, by removing disabled werewolves entirely! Problem solved! No more discomfort or moral conundrums! We are the liberal-est!
There's just something so unbelievably fucked up and suspicious about erasing entire minorities from a fictional universe because they were handled poorly in the first edition, rather than talking to writers and outreach specialists FROM the real world equivalents to those minorities to try and rewrite them.
Don't worry, we removed the group the setting was bigoted against! Problem solved! Just remove the minority!
I've written my own post on why the Metis/Crinos-born should be renamed and probably rewritten, but as a severely disabled individual with multiple hereditary disabilities that severely impact my QoL, outright removing disabled characters in a work of fiction because the prejudice other characters showed them in-universe made people uncomfortable makes me want to tear out someone's throat with my teeth.
Sure, completely remove my ability to play disabled a character fighting back against prejudice and bigotry, rather than rewrite the most uncomfortable aspects of YOUR FUCKING PORTRAYAL OF THOSE CHARACTERS to make it more clear who the sympathetic one is supposed to be.
It's just so unbelievably cowardly and whinging and wretched.
So fuck it, I guess!
Fuck the deeply applicable themes of being born into a well-intentioned but deeply flawed and bigoted society, and trying to create the better world your parents always told you your ancestors fought for, while dealing with the fact that your world is built on mass graves those ancestors helped fill.
Fuck a game that deals with intergenerational trauma and the ethical hellscape that is a highly religious society devoted to the very same ideals it often violates just to win fights against the enemies it created through its own arrogance and prejudice.
Fuck a game that lets you play someone born different, born strange and sickly, bouncing constantly between people who pity you and people who view you as subhuman, before finally finding the people, the family who love and accept and fight alongside you for a world that has never accepted you, but WILL FUCKING KNOW YOUR NAME.
That's not relevant to the real world at all!
There are no kids born in deeply flawed and hypocritical societies, who grew up on stories of the glorious future their society would create, forced then to reconcile the hopeful dreams of a better world with the comprehensive list of horrific things done in the name of that future.
There are no children born confused and alone in their navigation of the maze that is past atrocities, ethnic conflicts, religious prejudice and dogma, or modern propaganda attempting to erase the histories of all of those things.
There are no disabled teens who spent their lives believing they didn't belong in the world, kept going only by the connections they forged with other outsiders and people who fought back against the kind of wretched bigotry that suffocates children to death, who found homes and families they could trust outside the pissant communities they were born into.
Apparently those people don't need a game! They don't need to explore those feelings!
Just throw some more nazis in, so we can pretend we care about social issues or understand the redeeming threads of a deeply flawed gameline, ostensibly so we market it to leftist youngsters, but while we also erase the entire point of a game WHICH IS ALL ABOUT BEING PUNKASS YOUNGSTERS DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND THE REDEEMING THREADS OF A DEEPLY FLAWED AND PREJUDICED SOCIETY THAT CONSTRAINS THEM, FINDING A WAY TO REBEL AGAINST BOTH THE EVILS OF THE RACIST BASTARDS WHO RAISED THEM AND THE POMPOUS SHITHEADS WHO WANT TO DESTROY THE WORLD OUT OF GREED.
No! We want a squeaky clean, sterile white game that AmericanTM parents can be proud of their kids for playing! A marketable game, that advertisers will gladly pay Revenue to put their products in! Play the good guys, everyone! You're the good guys! Be a big werewolf UwU!
Don't worry about historical atrocities or the flaws of the society that raised you! That's Pentex propaganda!
Fighting bad guys means you can't do anything bad yourself! The Emperor told me so! Deus Gaia Vult!
A hollow, performative, offensive jizzstain that should've been scrapped in its crib. I have no idea how this edition got past a quality assurance team.
Hell I have no idea how it got past a legal team, given the number of real peoples' likenesses they used without permission.
Devoid of artistic integrity or merit.

Avatar Rant: Two Avatar takes that bother me
(Pssst! This was originally posted on reddit, but I liked it so much I decided to post it onto my this account! Here's a link to the original if you'd rather read it there!)
So, I saw a semi-viral tweet a while back that bothered me because it not only felt like a complete misunderstanding of the point of Avatar as a film franchise, but also just a very childish view of how societies and different communities function. I can't find it though (I didn't interact with it and it has since been buried) so I apologize for not being able to give the best context.
It was your typical RDA sympathizing humanity first take (makes sense, the account that tweeted it was a walking red flag) that claimed that the na'vi were stupid for not accepting human advancement and technology, that humanity should always put its preservation first, and that the RDA were simply prioritizing the well being of their people whilst the na'vi wanted them gone. I want to start by addressing the latter take(s).
The first and second movies make it very clear that the RDA are NOT prioritizing the survival of Earth or humanity. They are a money hungry organization that want to monetize pandoran resources to their dying people in hopes to squeeze out whatever little money they have left. The people of Earth are said to be protesting them for that very reason, every solution to their planet's problems that they have discovered is insanely expensive and inaccessible to anyone below the upper class one percent. The RDA don't care about humanity, they care about profit, which is the exact reason why their actions are so callous in the films.
There are certainly humans that want to preserve humanity, but I truly cannot wrap my head around how you can watch either film and come to the conclusion that it is the RDA that wants the best for humanity. Avatar is not a "human bad" movie, it is a "corporate greed bad" movie, which is reflective of real life environmental issues. The individual is green, the individual recycles and doesn't litter, the individual cleans their local rivers and sea shores. However, the powerplants continue to polute our air, the corporations continue to flood our oceans with plastic, the rich continue to cut corners and burn the air with private jets.
I truly believe the reading of Avatar as an anti-humanity movie is what has lead to people thinking the RDA are the "good guys". It is because they actually believe the RDA are supposed to represent humanity and their will to keep surviving (and that James Cameron is portraying them as wrong for that), when it is clear they are a representation of the corporate greed that leads to environmental damage and the destruction of humanity.
As for the belief that the na'vi are hostile and somehow wrong for not caring to "advance" in the way humanity did, that is just flat out wrong. When it came to the respectful, peaceful humans such as Grace and her team, the na'vi were incredibly welcoming. I mean, Grace built an entire school for them and taught them human language and other human academics, so clearly they aren't against learning from humans. Again, Avatar is clear about the fact that humans as a collective aren't bad, corporate greed is.
However, why should the na'vi "advance" when there is no need to? Innovation is built on the back of necessity, and in a world where there is no need for certain technological advancements, why should the na'vi chase it? Why do they need phones and tablets and video games and McDonalds? They are living just fine without it. This idea that every society needs to be "modernized", even when they function just fine without said modernization has always driven me up a wall.
This entitlement from the western world is what leads colonial brained weirdos to try and go to indigenous islands and force religion or their world view upon them, because they believe that if a society doesn't function like the "modern" world, it is wrong. The na'vi don't need currency, or modern tech, or modern trends or fast food. They aren't perfect, but they also aren't in a desperate situation that would call for innovation or some sort of technological evolution. They are fine, they don't need nor even want it, and it is strange to believe humanity is in their right to force it upon them.
I'll stop this here because it's getting too long, I would love to hear your thoughts. Last time I made a post in this vein I got some really interesting responses, I couldn't reply to all but I'll try and reblog if that means anything!
