Just finished watching the first episode of moon knight again and here are some details I noticed:

• In addition to Taweret toys, there are also toys of that mummy guy who chases Steven and Layla in the tomb

• when Steven goes looking for the lost dog in the dark, TWO reflections linger and look at him in the glass. The second one is behind the first and much smaller

• when harrow is talking to Steven in the museum, he only starts talking about khonshu AFTER the lights flickered, signaling his presence

• a warped version of the end credit music plays when Marc is warning Steven to stop looking after he calls layla

• neither Marc nor Steven thought to lift up the table that reaches Marcs hiding space instead of dragging it (bc they’re stupid). Yes, it had a couple things on it but it didn’t look hard to move. Like literally if Marc just picked it up instead of buying that tiny mat, nothing in the show would’ve happened

• Steven woke up from blackouts in his bed with all of his traps redone and on the bus to work. This means Marc knows Stevens routines well enough to replicate them perfectly and on time (*cough* stevens always late to his own job but somehow Marc can make it on time *cough*)

• Stevens apartment is covered in sand, not just by the bed

A detail in ep 1 of Moon Knight I just understood on a rewatch -- Marc (possibly Jake, though much more probably Marc according to Khonshu) jumped out of that 20-30m high tower in the Alps, landing in the grass and probably breaking every bone in his body, where he laid for hours/ the entire night. When Steven wakes up he turns around and sees there’s nothing around except the tower behind him. He wakes up with a broken jaw that immediately mends itself.

I think -- I think the implication is that Marc, fleeing with the scarab after a night of Moonknighting-- jumped out of that high ass tower as a last resort. He naturally blacked out. As he blacked out, he couldn’t ‘summon’ the suit, or the suit retracted. But that window was so high I don’t it’s possible to have landed and only broken the jaw! I bet Marc broke every goddamned bone in that body in that fall!

Then Khonshu used that blackout time to heal him. It’s only when Steven wakes up in pain does Khonshu realise the jaw is still broken, so heals that too. (It’s definitely Khonshu doing the healing, because this was before the suit was introduced and Steven heals without wearing it).

Ive finished moon knight and I’ve thought about rewatching it cause it’s such a GREAT series, but I don’t think I can watch the first episode again.

Idk if it’s just me, but it hit me pretty hard for some reason, especially the ending. Cause it’s like he wants to make connections, meaningful connections and he isn’t able to. He wants to live and he isn’t able to cause he doesn’t even know what’s going on.

And that’s a big fear of mine: not being able to make those human connections. Don’t get me wrong, I like being alone, but there’s a difference when you’re alone and you have friends and being alone when you have nobody.

I think that’s why I like Steven so much. I see myself in him, like, in an emotional way.

This might be a stretch but I was rewatching moon knight and I saw this. So, steven has a book on area 51 on his desk.

And steven mentions area 51 to JB here. I've always wondered by he said area 51 and MI6 here, like isn't it more supernatural? (to me area 51 is more alien vibes).

Now my headcanon is that he has an interest in area 51 too. Steven is a conspiracy theorist confirmed. I don't know thoughts are turning or something.

I have no idea how they're gonna get everything done in the last episode of Moon Knight but I just had a thought of the Marc vs Harrow fight and Marc is losing so Khonshu just starts telling him to "let the other one out" and Marc is like "??? First off Steven can't fight and second he's gone??" And Khonshu goes "not the worm, the *other* one, the one who gets things done" and that's how we meet Jake bc he shows up and kicks Harrow/Amit's ass
