#multiverse roadtrip shenanigans

Note
Also I gotta ask, how would the RWBY Halo story end up potentially jackknifing into multiversal crossover shenanigans?
Alrighty! So this AU can best be described as one of those cases where you spend all this time and effort coming up with characters, developing their backstories and lore, figuring out how they all meet and come together... and then realize you really have nothing for them to actually... DO.
To whit; this AU imagines Team RWBY as a team of SPARTAN-IIIs who fought in the tale-end of the Human-Covenant War and are last surviving remnant of the ill-fated 'Project ARTEMIS', basically 'What if Beacon was a SPARTAN-III training facility?' There's actually a whole crazy backstory I came up with for their story that involves more or less the Fall of Beacon if it was the Covenant instead of grimm and a lot more people died and also Team RWBY fights a one-team guerilla war against the Covenant for the better part of a year before escaping in one of their ships.
However, that wound up just being part of the background for Team RWBY in this AU, because this story would be starting up two years Post-War, with Team RWBY having become innovators in SPARTAN armor modification and brought on to help design and test the next generation of MJOLNIR suits.
And now we come to everything else, because I also decided to come up with a whole host of other characters for this AU. In this case an entire ship and crew that Team RWBY is just one part of that I put a LOT of thought into that can basically be summarized as 'A ragtag bunch of misfits MADE UP OF ragtag bunches of misfits' (which includes Team RWBY). Just the ship alone I thought up as this refitted frigate that was used as a test-bed for all sorts of experimental technologies but wound up so over-designed that nobody was sure what to do with it, so it go assigned to a crew that nobody was sure what to do with.
(also, the frigate is named the Molon Labe, mostly because I am utterly baffled as to why seemingly no Halo ship has been named that yet.)
I had a ship, I had a crew, and I had no idea what they'd actually be DOING. So because at the time I was really into crossover fics, I came up with the idea that after the ship got some upgrades from a friendly Forerunner Construct by the name of 1883 Pensive Delineation (literally Penny as a Forerunner AI), the ship suffers a freaky slipspace/FTL accident that sends her and her crew rocketing across the multiverse for numerous misadventures.
A few of the places/series I was thinking they'd end up:
Mass Effect - Where the crew has to first get their bearings and figure out they are in a whole other universe and also avoid getting dragged into any galactic conflicts because due to cross-universe tech-levels, they're kind of freakishly overpowered compared to the locals.
Fate/Zero - Where the crew gets embroiled in a lot of magic chicanery and also has to try REALLY hard not to get spotted by 1990s humanity. Also they accidentally take Artoria and Irisviel with them when they leave.
Zero no Tsukaima - More magic chicanery and also the crew isn't able to lie-low in orbit/under the ocean again, so now they just have to try REALLY hard not to get embroiled in pre-industrial political powerplays and backstabbing with a bunch of mages who REALLY don't know how to take 'No' for an answer.
(also at some point I was going to have Artoria start wearing a spare suit of MJOLNIR armor. So that would have been fun :D)
Honestly, if more people are interested in this idea, I'll probably just post some of the more interesting parts of the notes I've been jotting for it over the years XD

wip inspiration tag 🌟
got tagged by @encrucijada
there are A LOT of places of inspiration for my personal writing project roadtrip! and if i had to list them all i’d have pages and pages of bits of inspiration from so many different places but i think i can gather the core wells of inspiration...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
list: the Northern Lights trilogy, the Oh Hellos, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky and Sprited Away
ROADTRIP! : sam, a transmasc youth, and his furry ever-companion soulmate kaid live in sunshine arizona with their new rambunctious friend who moved into the neighboring town a year ago, chelsie who has two furry companions of her own named cosmos and chrysanthemum. high school hell, summer shenanigans, friendships, chaos and fun ensue until a girl named aubry shows up in the middle of the desert following a series of strange occurrences. a week later, the three of them take a short walk and don’t return home. they find themselves in a new world, and, well, quite a few new worlds after that. they need to find a way home and they’re determined that nothing stops them, so they journey into a ever shifting, strange, curious and beautiful multiverse that unfolds before them.
this story is about changes and grappling with them, queerness (trans, lesbian/gay mostly), self discovery and becoming, love, family born into, made and found, faiths, destiny is fake, essentialism is bogus, war is hell, different kinds of trauma, the pace of healing, growing pains, be gay do crime, love for humanity, displacement and belonging, oppression and fighting it, the power in being kind gentle and merciful, and how hugs, hand holding and forehead kisses go a long way. theres a lot more but the hugs are extremely important!
The Oh Hellos
entire arcs in this story have started as seeds planted by me listening to the oh hello’s but especially the albums eurus and the other four winds albums, dear wormwood, and into the deep dark valley. ive got a deep emotional connection to their music and since i found them back in 2019/2020 which happened to be the time i started writing this wip. there are whole albums in my character playlists. they are this music on a certain level. the grip maggie and tyler heath have on me is criminal
HDM
daemons, angels and the multiverse concept not only totally ripped completely off from this series but also extremely yassified and hit with a transgenderification beam. transdimensional travel as a metaphor for being trans. a angel fabricating a physical body as a metaphor for being trans. rainbow colored openings to other worlds hint hint nudge gay. answering the age old question “trans people daemons gender what?!” with “lol whatever i have a 4D understanding of gender you wouldn’t get it”. using daemons as a way to talk about queerness, gender etc etc. also us american evengalicalism fuckin sucks, lets talk about that and religious trauma without demonizing “religion” as a whole!! this inspired me to think about the beauty of faiths instead of its ugliest sides but also honor the horrific trauma a certain brand of christianity causes. also what if this multiverse concept was executed better and the story was actually satisfying??
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the sSky (and some other ghibli movies)
okay nausicaä actually inspired a big latter part of roadtrip, mostly its solarpunk elements and focus on ecology, post apocalyptic world and humanity. and insects! castle in the sky is where i got the floating island idea from. some honorable mentions are spirited away, its one of my earliest memories of other world concepts in fiction i remember from when i was a kid, ponyo which is the favorite movie of my character chelsie + some ocean imagery sprinkled here and there and sam loves princess mononoke (this movie helped radicalize me)
Ari and Dante
the slice of life vibes, desert setting but arizona instead of el paso texas, a mexican main character, just taking it easy and being emotionally honest when writing and telling a story is something i learned from benjamin alire sáenz because its one of the first places in literature it really stuck out to me. that you choose your own methods for writing, whatever works for you even if it strays from ‘traditional’ literature structure. realizing a chapter could be 1 paragraph freed me, but now i wish i’d actually let myself apply the guy’s advice. this book had a profound effect on me when i read it at 17, it got me through a lot and its lived inside my head and my soul ever since. rent fuckin free. changed me on a molecular and spiritual level and im so glad it did
honorable mentions: a bunch of different science fiction media, fantasy media, real life locations like arizona, my own state, cartagena columbia, costa rica, peru and about a thousand other places, ecology and the concept of interconnectedness herself, class struggle, queer history, catholic imagery, ‘80s aesthetics, many romance languages, my friends and their many backgrounds, many different cultures, angelology, world history, revenge and spite but also self indulgence and falling in love with writing
gonna tag: @shapeshiftersandfire!

You said you know where multiversal mayhem would be in the timeline now... Can you tell us or is it a spoiler?
The Multiversal Mayhem Series is it's own order of events.
It goes
[ FIREWORKS IN REVERSE] -> [ PVRAI ] -> [ THE CURRENT ONESHOTS] -> [ SCPMESA ] -> [ MULTIVERSAL MAYHEM ], and I plan for more stories to continue being added.
Multiversal Mayhem does reference hlvrv with Capital M's appearance. Which has of course lead to the question, "when would it happen in the vrv timeline?"
Originally, my answer would've been "oh, a while after vrv2."
But due to recent discoveries [ vrv3 takes place 5 and a half hours after vrv2 ], I would say that it takes place either DURING [ in an alternate timeline and/or via time-based shenanigans ] or AFTER.
To put things simply, I lied about knowing EXACTLY where it goes. I just know at least that it is NOT BEFORE.
I won't lie. I DO like the idea of it somehow, someway, being During the 5 hours because of what it implies for the ending and a certain line of dialogue in Roadtrip Blues. But. Well. That's the best I got atm.

What if the reason people have a hard time finding Nox and Noctis on the road trip is because most of it was spent in other dimensions? Like, Nox only meant for this to be a weekend trip, alright? They were intending to leave in the morning, but then they took a step and were Elsewhere. So everyone freaking out about lack of note? Nox didn’t get a chance to leave one. (Allows for all sorts of multiverse shenanigans.)
Tumblr media
This. THIS.
THIS IDEA IS GOLDEN.
I mean, there’s still road trip stuff I want them to do in Eos because bby Coeurls of death and shenanigans but like-
this would explain so much?
and Noctis CANONICALLY stumbles face-first into other dimensions stupid easy so like- the first one either keeps them from leaving a note or Nox just forgets the note and they’re on the road when the first one happens, but he SHOULD have been callable except there’s no signal in the other dimension so whoops there’s three days of no contact or chargers so their phones are now dead and need to be recharged somewhere. And then it just- Keeps. Happening.
Incidents that never last more than a few days to a week at most but time DOES pass in Eos in the meantime and their phones are in a perpetual state of either dead or unreachable and Nox has the world’s SUCKIEST sense of time (next to Ardyn’s) and Noctis is like- so swept up in the adventure that he doesn’t realize that time isn’t getting magically reset to when they left like in the stories. So they go hang out and train in Eos for a few days and pick up bby Coeurls of death from my earlier tag forever ago and then get yoinked into another dimension and it’s fine. Really. It’s interesting at least and Noctis has come a long way from that first trip to Dissidia when he was 16.
But of course for EVERYONE ELSE. THINGS ARE NOT FINE. Even the Astrals are having trouble keeping track of their location at this point and its driving poor Umbra and Pryna and Gentiana NUTS.
*le gasp* THIS MEANS I CAN DO BOTH FFXIV CROSSOVERS DURING THE BRO ROADTRIP. FIRST THE ONE WHERE THEY MEAN THE CAT LADY, THEN THE ONE WHERE THEY MEET WOL.
Wait that means I need to make up an WOL character I don’t even play the game-
WHO CARES I LIKE MAKING OCS ANYWAY.
Nox is just- mostly chill with this. Sure this usually doesn’t happen one right after the other but he DOES happen to him kinda a lot and Noctis is him his little brother so he probably figures whatever luck drags him into this stuff is squared with Noctis around. Noctis learns to roll with EVERYTHING. Nothing can surprise him anymore. Tiny talking aliens that only say “hiso hiso” and some kind of copycat monster? Okay. Their entire car going into another dimension with them in it and breaking down and them meeting a fabled Warrior of Light that isn't the WoL they met in Dissidia? Hi. Nice to meet you. Know anywhere that might fix his car? Whatever other wacky Crossover I can come up with for the lols? Noctis is just: this is fine.jpg while Nox is waayyy too much like Ardyn in that he’s having the Time Of His Life.
So they spend maybe a grand total of a week, maybe two in Eos and the rest in it various crossovers, still managed to get into oodles of trouble and find bby coeurls, and when they’re FINALLY tracked down by their frothing-at-the-mouth-with-worry fam and friends they’re like “we haven’t been gone that long.”
“YOU WERE GONE FOR A MONTH. A  M O N T H. WITH NO CONTACT.”
“...really? Oh. Well our phones kept dying because there’s no signal or chargers in Eorzea so-”
“WHAT AND WHERE IS AN EORZEA NOX I SWEAR TO IFRIT-”

who the heck is my muse anyway?
Yozora is the main protagonist of the fictional video game ‘Verum Rex’, as seen in the Toy Box world of Kingdom Hearts 3. He then made his debut in the Kingdom Hearts 3 secret ending, named after Yozora himself, as a canon character in the KH universe. We have seen all but two minutes of Yozora, and he currently does not have any speaking lines: thus this blog is solely built on my own headcanons and meta, including the universe in which he resides, Replica Earth. You can read more about Yozora’s world here.
Born into poverty, Yozora had a bleak upbringing. In a bid to earn more coin, Yozora was sold off by his mother to a medical research group: who strived to ‘improve humanity’. This medical research group, was in fact, the robotics consortium known as Gigas Corporation: the company known for producing the Gigas robots that helped to construct Replica Earth. Under the covert trial ‘Project Night Sky’, the young Yozora was subject to gruesome experimentation... An operation that replaced his human heart, with the heart of a Gigas unit: an astral core, that harnessed the power of the stars. He was one of many children to undergo the procedure... and the only one to survive.
A success to the scheme, Yozora was hailed the ‘Verum Rex’ (True King) of humanity: and was prophesied by Gigas Corporation to lead humanity to a new age. After discovering that Gigas Corp were murdering ‘lesser humans’-- those who could not sustain the power of the stars-- Yozora severed his ties. He fled the corporation, along with his two best friends, and the ‘Verum Regina’ whom was intended to rule beside him. His victory, however, was short lived: his queen was recaptured, and Gigas Corp were swiftly moving towards their next goal. Project Night Sky Phase 2. Declaring war against Gigas Corporation, Yozora vows to put an end to their tyranny, and to free the victims of their reign.
Whether it be a side effect of the experimentation all those years ago, Yozora had recently begun to see the ‘Watchmen of Fate’-- ghostly spectres haunt his form-- along with the true identity of his home realm. Replica Earth was in fact a netherrealm: the graveyard of worlds, where lost souls would find solace... until their reincarnation. It would appear that Gigas Corp had discovered the truth of their world, and had ‘created’ Yozora in an effort to achieve immortality and divine rule over the multiverse. Yozora was more than just a king... he was the god of death. Whilst he had abandoned his regal title, it was only after discovering the volatility of the multiverse, that Yozora decides to save it.  To maintain the order of the universe, Yozora must uphold the cycle of reincarnation. Reaping souls... and leading them towards the light.
things you should know:
Yozora is NOT the Master of Masters, Sora, Riku, Noctis or a fusion of any of these characters. A popular fan theory claims that Yozora is a future version of Sora/Riku/MoM, or is the Nobody of Noctis, but that is not the case here. He is his own entity.
My portrayal of Yozora is not exclusive to the Kingdom Hearts universe. Many make the assumption that Yozora is heavily tied to the Kingdom Hearts universe, but that’s not the case! Yozora’s kingdom is the ‘underworld’ of all worlds and universes: where all souls find purgatory before moving onto their next life. Yozora is extremely crossover friendly.
what he’s been up to:
Main verse: From human, to cyborg, to king... Yozora had only recently acknowledged his wider role in the universe as the god of death. He is still learning about his divine purpose, and how Gigas Corporation are contributing to the destruction of the multiverse. Amid the ongoing war with Gigas Corporation, Yozora works in the shadows to uncover the truth of the universe before Gigas Corp.
where to find him:
Tokyo, Replica Earth:  One of the thirteen Arks of the Replica Earth space colony, this is Yozora’s home. Replica Tokyo also functions as the ‘Realm of Lost Souls’: where the deceased from other universes are brought to rest. A fugitive of Gigas Corporation, Yozora has multiple bases: one being the city’s ‘Underground’: a network of black markets nestled within Replica Earth’s subway system.
Literally any realm: With the ability to cross dimensions, thanks to his astral crossbow, Yozora occasionally traverses up the celestial ladder in search of answers. However, the distance he can travel away from his home realm is limited, for he is tethered to the starlight harnessed directly from Replica Earth (and more specifically, the Verum Regina that remains in Gigas Corporation’s captivity). Should Yozora find a sustainable substitute-- a mortal with a strong hold of their fate (and thus, an affinity to the stars)-- Yozora will be able to forego returning to his home realm.
current plans:
Take down Gigas Corporation: Yozora aims to put an end to Gigas Corporation’s tyranny. Through taking down Gigas Corp, Yozora will save all the new victims of Project Night Sky Phase 2, as well as rescue his significant other.
Find the truth of the universe / his existence: Serving as the King of Death, Yozora traverses the multiverse reaping souls and sustaining the natural order of the cosmos. All in all, he is still trying to understand his purpose, and the intentions of the ‘Watchmen of Fate’ that haunt him.
desired interactions:
Verum Rex muses / muses with Verum Rex verses!  As much as I loved building Yozora’s world, it’s twice as fun to build it with other roleplayers! Whether it be ‘canon’ Verum Rex muses, or existing muses with Verum Rex verses, I would love to involve you all in the little universe I’ve created for Yozora~ ;v;
Partners in crime: the Reapers of the galaxy!  Yozora has largely been working alone in guiding lost souls to his home realm... it would be amazing if he could recruit a whole team of reapers to help him sustain universal order. This is by no means a sinister role (though if your muses prefer violent death, Yozora won’t judge!) It would be similar in function to a roadtrip au, where the Reapers travel with Yozora and engage in all sorts of shenanigans. With Yozora being the king, the Reapers would also become his ‘knights’... and I hoping to build a ‘Knights of the Round Table’ with those that agree to help him ;v;
+ many more interactions! this section will be updated over time, the more interactions I think of !
things that bother me:
Yozora being perceived as looking like Sora. I can accept Yozora being mistaken for Riku and Noctis... but not Sora. They are different heights, ages, and have completely different hairstyles/hair colours. That’s one piece of canon that I strongly reject. If it happens in a thread, Yozora will ignore it.
Yozora being assumed to be Sora/Riku or their son. Thankfully it hasn’t happened yet, but please do not approach Yozora as if he’s Sora, Riku, their fusion, or their son. I can accept that he looks like Riku, but Yozora is his own entity.

The Very Comprehensive Deadpool Masterpost
The aim of this post is to introduce new fans to Deadpool's comics and help you identify which collections, trade paperbacks and omnibus books Deadpool's individual stories, issues and runs can be found in as well as which order to read them.
I will not be providing links to any pirated copies and would rather not recommend websites as prices will vary across the dozens of sites comics can be purchased from.
I have read every single issue on this list so if you have any questions or need any help please do feel free to ask me.
Created: 5th March 2017 Updated: 31st July 2017
Main Deadpool Continuity & Reading Order
This is the bulk of the masterlist. Each of Deadpool's main books and stories are listed below in the order which they should be read from the very beginning all the way up to, and including, his current shenanigans. I have marked a few recommended starting points so if you do not wish to tackle the entire list there should be a starting point which suits you.
Deadpool: The Circle Chase (1993) #1 - #4 This is Deadpool's first ever solo miniseries. It introduces Weasel, Vanessa and themes which crop up throughout the rest of Deadpool's runs. -Collected in; Deadpool Classic Vol. 1 or Deadpool: Beginnings Omnibus or Deadpool The Adamantium Collection or Deadpool & X-Force Omnibus
Deadpool: Sins of the Past (1994) #1 - #4 Deadpool's second miniseries explores Deadpool's relationship with his past and teases his origins. -Collected in; Deadpool Classic Vol. 1 or Deadpool: Beginnings Omnibus or Deadpool & X-Force Omnibus
Deadpool (1997) #-1 - #69 [A Recommended Starting Point] This was Deadpool's first ongoing and it ran from 1997 to 2002. Plot elements from his first and second miniseries are picked up and expanded upon here. Several writers contributed to this series, most notably Joe Kelly, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Gail Simone. -Collected in; Deadpool Classic Vol. 1 - Vol. 9 or Deadpool by Joe Kelly Omnibus & Deadpool Classic Omnibus Vol. 1
Agent X (2002) #1 - #15 After Deadpool (1997) ended his book was replaced by a new, similar character who shares Deadpool's supporting cast from his last 5 issues. Deadpool returns in the final 3 issues of this series. -Collected in; Deadpool Classic Vol. 9 & Vol. 10 or Deadpool Classic Omnibus Vol. 1
Cable & Deadpool (2004) #1 - #50 [A Recommended Starting Point] Characters from Agent X (2002) make an appearance throughout this series which is written by Deadpool's co-creator Fabian Nicieza. Deadpool's relationship with Cable is one of the most loved in comics and Cable is scheduled to appear in Deadpool 2. This is a big, thematic book exploring heroism and the bigger picture. -Collected in; Cable & Deadpool: If Looks Could Kill, The Burnt Offering, The Human Race, Bosom Buddies, Living Legends, Paved With Good Intentions, Separation Anxiety & Deadpool vs. The Marvel Universe  or 3 Deadpool & Cable Ultimate Collection books  or the Deadpool & Cable Omnibus
Deadpool Annual (2013) #1 Although this was released in 2013 the first half of the story explains the origin of the white caption box which makes its appearance throughout Deadpool (2008). The second half of the story leads into Deadpool (2012) so it may be worth revisiting this issue before you start that series. -Collected in; Deadpool: The Wedding of Deadpool or Deadpool: The Ones With Deadpool or Deadpool Classic Vol. 18: Deadpool vs. Marvel
Deadpool (2008) #1 - #63 This is the book which was being published when Deadpool exploded into the phenomenon he is today. All 63 issues were written by Daniel Way and you can see the zany fingerprints he left on the character present in the fandom, the video game and all the ongoing books and miniseries from 2009 to 2012. -Collected in; Deadpool: Secret Invasion, Dark Reign, X Marks The Spot, Monkey Business, What Happens In Vegas, I Rule You Suck, Space Oddity, Operation Annihilation, Institutionalized, Evil Deadpool & Dead  or 4 Deadpool: The Complete Collection by Daniel Way books or Deadpool by Daniel Way Omnibus Vol. 1
Uncanny X-Force (2010) #1 - #35 Running alongside Daniel Way's Deadpool from 2010 onwards, this book was written by Rick Remender and features a more grounded Deadpool working in a team setting. -Collected in; Uncanny X-Force: The Apocalypse Solution, Deathlok Nation, The Dark Angel Saga Book 1, The Dark Angel Saga Book 2, Otherworld & Final Execution or two Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender: The Complete Collection books or the Uncanny X-Force Omnibus by Rick Remender also see: Uncanny X-Force: Fear Itself #1 - #3 collected in; Fear Itself: Uncanny X-Force / The Deep
Deadpool vs. Thanos (2015) #1 - #4 Although this was released in 2015 its events occur before Deadpool (2012). This is a cosmic roadtrip taken by two people who hate one another. -Collected in; Deadpool vs Thanos or Deadpool Classic Vol. 18: Deadpool vs. Marvel
Thunderbolts (2012) #1 - #32 Daniel Way initially writes this series before Charles Soule and then Ben Acker & Ben Blacker take over. It's Deadpool in a team setting which is less bloody than Uncanny X-Force but not as clean cut as the Avengers. -Collected in; Thunderbolts: No Quarter, Red Scare, Infinity, No Mercy, Punisher vs. The Thunderbolts notes: Can be read alongside Deadpool (2012) although there is very little crossover. The series ends before Deadpool (2012) Original Sin. Hawkeye vs Deadpool (2014) should be read after this series as it references its cancellation. Deadpool (2012) #1 - #45 & Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet #1 - #13  [A Recommended Starting Point] This is the beginning of the Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn era of Deadpool which is currently ongoing, the two comedians have left an impression on Deadpool and introduced a strong supporting cast which will be felt for years to come. -Collected in; Deadpool: Dead Presidents, Soul Hunter, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Deadpool vs. S.H.I.E.L.D, Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet, The Wedding of Deadpool, Original Sin, Axis & All Good Things  or 4 Deadpool by Duggan & Posehn hardcovers or the Deadpool by Duggan & Posehn Omnibus notes: Deadpool: The Gauntlet was initially released digitally on ComiXology and was built for digital reading Annuals & one-shots are collected in; Deadpool: The Ones With Deadpool Flashback issues are collected in chronological order in; Deadpool: Flashbacks
Mrs Deadpool and the Howling Commandos (2015) #1 - #4 A book set during Marvel's world-ending 'Secret Wars' series where the Marvel multiverses smashed together and created a patchwork planet called 'Battleworld', this book follows our Deadpool on a journey through an altered reality which he can't interact with. -Collected in; Mrs Deadpool and the Howling Commandos or Deadpool Classic Vol. 19: Make War, Not Love
Deadpool & Cable: Split Second (2016) #1 - #6 Written by Cable & Deadpool writer and Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza, this book lays the groundwork for some Deadpool (2015) and Uncanny Avengers (2015) stories while also standing perfectly on its own. -Collected in; Deadpool & Cable: Split Second
Uncanny Avengers (2015) #1 - ongoing [A Recommended Starting Point] Deadpool? In an Avengers book? That's not a mistake. Gerry Duggan pens this series and again spotlights Deadpool in a blockbuster-level team setting. -Currently collected in; Uncanny Avengers Unity: Vol. 1 Lost Future, Vol. 2 The Man Who Fell to Earth, Vol. 3 Civil War II,  Vol. 4 Red Skull notes: Issues #7 & #8 crossover with All-New All-Different Avengers #7 & #8 and the full story is collected in Avengers: Standoff. Random Story Concept/Idea Ask Game
Alright, so because I’d like an excuse to ramble about story/fic ideas I’ve probably spent way too much time brainstorming in my head, here’s an Ask Game I just came up with.
Rules: Post any number of fic story ideas/concepts that have been bouncing around your brain for anywhere between the last ten hours-to-ten years, but you’ve just never been able to write anything on them beyond a bunch of notes and WIPs. Post either a title, a brief blurb, an incomprehensible bit of rambling, or some combination of the above.
My Story Ideas/Concepts:
Fate Series-
Fate Foundation: Grand Order by way of the SCP Foundation with a smattering of Metal Gear Solid.
FGO: Spirit of Blades – In which I come up with a far too convoluted explanation for why Gudako looks like Shirou Emiya’s long lost younger sister.
Helluva Boss-
The Loonie/Via Roadtrip Show; featuring shenanigans, bounty hunting, dark sorcery, trauma and feels.
Highway Blossoms-
The Dungeons and Dragons AU where things are not nearly as different as you might think.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha-
Lyrical Ghosts: The cyberpunk-esque AU where less characters are dead but there’s way more trauma and war-crimes and I crib a LOT from Ghost in the Shell.
Nier Automata-
Nier-2B Route Extended; the hypothetical route where 2B gets to stay the main character, A2B is real and 9S gets to be the final boss.
Nier Alternative/Nineless; the AU where 9S does not exist, 6O gets to be a character and I have put WAY too much thought into lore and worldbuilding
RWBY-
The Halo AU Idea nobody asked for that ended up jackknifing into multiversal crossover shenanigans.
Yu-Gi-Oh!-
Post-DSOD set Tea/DMG story; ‘The Successor of Dark Magic’
YGO/SRWOG crossover; Serenity of the Steel Dragons; AKA ‘Joey’s sister becomes a badass mech pilot’
(Feel free to ask about more than one, though please do so with multiple Asks so I can give each of these their own post.)
