My Ren design is still brown ofc but since his skin tone on his red life skin turns completely pale, I really liked the idea of his fur in my design turning white (but not completely, maybe only going full white before death) to mirror that. Homelander with an s/o that’s a middle school or high school teacher that asks him to come teach a lesson on history. He’s happy getting to be needed, the center of attention, and getting to talk about history, the students are happy because someone that is super famous is teaching their class, and the s/o is happy seeing homelander and their students happy.

That would be so cute!!!! He’d probably be a little nervous at first and then really get into it and his s/o would tell him he did great😭😭

By the time your class ends, the children are on their feet, all of them excitedly clapping and clamoring for a moment of recognition from their impromptu history teacher.

Homelander is experiencing this moment with the children. For all his experience in a proper classroom, he may as well be one of them. It brings as much of an ache to your heart as it does warmth.

To your delight, every single student leaves the room with a shiny smiling sticker for their engagement. You only have a handful of them left on your sheet by the time the last student leaves, and as the door closes, you let out a contented little sigh.

"That was fantastic," you tell him, putting a hand on his chest as you kiss his cheek. "They loved you!"

He even managed not to say anything too inappropriate. You forget sometimes just how accustomed he is to public speaking, and more specifically, manufacturing a suitable identity to appeal to whomever he's addressing.

He's like a chameleon in that regard. There's a handful of different Homelander's you might find yourself speaking to, depending on the day.

"Bahh, that was nothing. Trivia Night stuff," he says dismissively, but his grin tells you otherwise. He's glowing with pride, his cheeks a light shade of pink.

"Well. I'd say you earned this," you say, peeling off one more sticker to slap on the downturned flap of his suit.

He looks down at the sparkling sticker and barks a laugh, cupping your face in his hands. "This make me teachers pet?" He asks, and though you're sure he's trying to be salacious to deflect the sincere feelings welling up in his eyes, you see through his facade.

You always do. He loves that as much as he sometimes loathes it.

"You can be anything you'd like to be," you say, kissing the tip of his nose.

Judging by the shift in his expression, no one's ever told him that before.

He kisses you properly and without reprieve for that one.

On top of that, he closes the flap of his suit to keep that silly, glittery little sticker secure and close to his heart.

Hot take: Dante! He has so much 'I pretend I have sexual and romantic attraction because society' energy to me.

I think it's funny if Trish in DMC 1 was instructed to use her body to get Dante to go to the island, but he literally only went for revenge. That's it. And after Dante is like 'I mean, I guess you're attractive? Maybe?' And Lady is completely unbothered by it all.

Alao the idea that Vergil thought Nero was Dante's kid would be the funniest shit to everyone except Vergil. Like you think that Dante had sex? That he was in a romantic relationship? Bruh, you really haven't been in his life.

A side effect at this is that Dante gives really good romantic advice because he's always objective. Nero will pine over what to wear to see Kyrie and Dante'll say 'Just wear what makes you comfortable, if she loves you, which she clearly does, she wouldn't want you to be uncomfortable.' And then he takes a bite of pizza, completely unfazed.

Patty also uses this trait of Dante's to full effect, often using him as a vibe checker. because his instincts are just that good.

Because I like giving Jaehaerys a headache: Baelon goes to avenge his brother Aemon against the Myrish pirates. He ends up dying as well. Who is now heir?

Well in canon, Baelon runs off to kill the pirates, then comes back and is suddenly named heir. So if he runs off, and just doesn't come back, that puts Jaehaerys is a trickier position because he had never actually named Baelon as heir, plus Viserys isn't yet married while Rhaenys is married with a powerful husband and a dragon (I don't think Viserys nor Daemon had even claimed their dragons just yet).

So...I do think he'd use this opportunity to say "well I have two grandchildren who could be my heirs and given the rapid deaths of both their parents, I think the lords should help me decide between them" as a way of sort of kicking away any responsibility for the aftermath. However...so fucking tricky. Viserys hasn't already become entrenched as heir yet which is a lot of why he has so many votes in the GC 101. He also doesn't have his Targaryen bride yet nor even a lone daughter to point to - his heir would still be Daemon and Daemon isn't all that old yet. Now, Rhaenys doesn't have a son either but she's at least had a single child, is married, and again, has a dragon.

I think he'd go for a GC earlier because just straight up bypassing Rhaenys for Viserys is very weird in this situation; you can almost see the sense in passing up a granddaughter for another son because Jaehaerys is still alive (ie it's not inherently in his eyes, a daughter before an uncle thing - he's just passing up one son for the other). But this is just very clearly passing up Aemon's line for Baelon's and I do think there'd be some pushback here. And I also think he'd have to play politic a lot more here as well - yeah, he can definitely still rely on misogyny (that's what the greens did after all lmao) to back his claim up, but without having named Baelon as heir, he looks like a little bit of an asshole here. And unfortunately for him, while he's politcking, Alysanne is not only politicking to get Rhaenys the throne, she's also probably really fucking pissed off that he's doing this after their two oldest sons have just died. This is absolutely going to be a crazy Second Quarrel where the King and Queen are a) not living together b) on completely opposite sides and c) getting ready to duke it out via their Rhaenys/Viserys proxies. So for sure, Jaehaerys is having Viserys claim and probably Daemon claim a dragon immediately, marrying Viserys to Aemma immediately, and um. Probably things go badly for poor Aemma here.

Whatever way it goes, I think it's a really close vote. These men are not just going to vote in a woman without a lot of promises made to them. The main people Corlys and Rhaenys need to win over are the Lannisters, Tyrells, and Tullys. We don't know how the Tyrells voted but we do know the Tyrells and Hightowers clash a bit so it's possible they can sway their votes. I think Grover Tully is a nonstarter but Elmo might be able to sway some votes, along with the Blackwoods who are already voting for them. Who knows what's happening with the Lannisters - they side with Viserys, then the Greens, but that doesn't mean Tymond can't be swayed. Plus, with Alysanne actively campaigning for Rhaenys (she had died before the GC 101 remember), that might sway things in their favor.

It's really tricky to say! I think what way it goes just kinda depends on your read of the characters and Westeros as a whole - I think canon shows us that they'd still rather a man above all else in several instances, especially when the person sitting on that seat would prefer a man. Jeyne, for example, had the backing of the Royces against her male cousins. And Rhaenys has to wait until 94 AC for Laenor, but Aemon/Baelon die in 92, so the GC is probably held in 93 while she's pregnant again, so she's arguing on behalf of a theoretical child, while Viserys and Daemon are here and alive, and a living breathing man is always worth more than a girl's theoretical baby (regardless of whether Viserys has his own heir or not smFh). On the other hand, god wouldn't it just be fun if Jaehaerys' plans were all completely ruined because Baelon runs off and gets himself and maybe Vhagar killed as well because he's upset and Alysanne manages to out politic him and get Rhaenys crowned while she hasn't even had a son yet? That's my dream, their marriage would be completely FINISHED but it would be so fucking funny.

Homelander's eyes are narrowed. "So... what would I win?" You can't help but laugh at his suspicion over such an innocuous little game. "You win the game," you say again, though it's not helping his comprehension any, so you elaborate. "It's just a game! You play it for the sake of playing it, and whoever wins, wins."

"Why would I want to win the game of not touching you?" He asks, clearly unimpressed by the thought. You sigh, though it's out of amusement more than exasperation. "You don't have to play. Go ahead," you say, holding your hand out to him. "I'm happy to win." Homelander recoils from you. "No."

You grin, dropping your hand. "Okay. Game on."

For the rest of the day, the two of you dance around one another like the other is radioactive, while also trying to trick contact. You try to ambush him a couple of times, try to fool him into bumping into you from around the corner, but between his super hearing and ability to literally see through walls, you're quickly humbled.

Similarly, Homelander does his best to beat you at your own game. He pads silently behind you, waits for you to back into him. He very nearly gets you when he utters a grave, "Oh, fuck." at his phone.

"What's wrong?" You ask, leaning over to look. You only just stop yourself from putting an assuring hand on his arm. You yank your hand back, and realize he has a video ready to play on his phone. "Rick Astley? Really?" You say, rolling your eyes with a smile as you turn away. "I regret teaching you internet culture."

"Almost had you."

"Keep dreaming!"

As the day progresses, however, you notice less and less humor in his attempts. In fact, on the last one, you see a tightness in his jaw that makes you realize he may actually be getting sincerely upset.

Time to end things. The next time he makes his move, you decide you'll fall for it. It'll have to be convincing, of course, but you're confident you can make enough of a show to-

You're mid thought when two powerful arms wrap around your middle, pulling you back with enough force to make you yelp. You feel him nuzzle in at the crook of your neck, inhaling deeply. If Daniel was at fault in the "break up" situation then why would both Blake and Corey blacklist Micheal and act as if he never existed? I'm pretty sure they are both grown up adults who can decide who to be friends with and wouldn't follow Daniel's orders blindly. I personally think that if it was Daniel's fault we would've seen at least a little glimpse of Blake and Michael interacting, like a head nod or something. The whole group sided with Daniel, not a single one of them still posts Michael or like any of his posts (according to what I've seen, I might be wrong though), it just seems weird

Objectively speaking, I don’t believe that situations like this are purely one-sided; however, that doesn’t mean both sides share equal blame. For example, one side could only be 1% to blame while the other is 99% at blame, or anything in-between.

Following the dissolution of partnerships/friendships, both parties often point the finger at each other (even the party at fault). That being said, I’m sure Michael points the finger at Daniel for something, but at the end of the day, it’s obvious that Michael is carrying the vast majority of the blame in this situation. IMO it’s very telling that Blake and Corey blacklisted him as well.
