i would say deuace and yamace are my two favorites besides saboala, with deuace being just slightly above yamace (mostly bc i love deuce as a character/concept), and while i am a frobin enjoy i am also a staunch "brook, robin, franky and jinbei are a polycule and they're all holding hands and no one can tell me differently" supporter, but it is very hard to find polyam ship stuff ;-;

namivi will also always hold a special place in my heart, and i really hope that vivi gets to see the straw hats soon so that nami can hug her long distance gf <3

So, started a new Sith Assassin (because already having one who still has an act and a half to finish is never a barrier when a new character story grabs me.)

Zusmeesh. I have no idea why I accepted that random name when it came up, lol, but she now goes by Meesh which is unfortunately close to Misheen, my other Assassin I write about, lol. But Misheen’s nickname is Sheen.

Meesh is a Nautolan who was born into slavery, freed by rebels as a child, then later recaptured and condemned to death as a rebel. Sent to Korriban when they found she was Force sensitive, with the understanding that if she survived but didn’t become Sith, she’d still be executed.

She connected up with an old friend once she reached Dromund Kaas, a Cathar bounty hunter named Namivi who was trying to make it into the Great Hunt, and they began providing support to each other.

Draft scene/micro story when they meet up just outside the ship hangers on Tatooine to coordinate their missions. This has NOT gotten very far, but this was such an obvious one (nvm we know what he was really like - belief isn’t about fact.):

“A pirate, huh?” Namivi grinned at Mako who began to work furiously on her datapad.

Mako glanced up, frowning. “Hmm, no bounty on this Revel. So don’t get sidetracked from our target, the Devaronian, Tyresius.”

“Hey, I didn’t tell you about him so you could try to make money off him; Zash and I need him alive!” Meesh scowled fiercely. “Besides, I’ve always wanted to meet a real pirate.”

Namivi rolled her eyes. “Why are you so excited about pirates? Ships destroyed, people tortured and killed, not exactly model citizens, you know?”

Meesh was silent, then, barely audibly, she answered. “My first memory as a young child was a rumor. The Pirate, Nok Drayen, freed any slaves he found when he attacked. Always whispered where our owners or any overseers couldn’t hear us, of course. But we believed. I think it was the only thing I really believed in. Maybe, just maybe, we’d be lucky enough that The Pirate himself would attack our owners and free us.” Her eyes almost glowed. 

Then she shrugged, pulling her shoulders back from the hunched position they had crept into while she spoke, and her voice returned to normal. “No one’s heard of him in over a decade, but I’d bet you enough credits to pay for that new ship I’m flying that even in the Empire slaves still whisper his name. And believe. Everyone has to believe in something, you know. So, excuse me if I believe in pirates.”
