i headcanon that will graham bites people. just. bites them. not out of love, not out of fear, he just bites people. why? primal instinct. he must sink his teeth in somewhere. he does not know he is doing it until it has been done.
Tumblr media
i imagine him sitting next to hannibal. hannibal is reading. all the sudden, he feels teeth in his skin. will is staring up at him without ONE SINGULAR THOUGHT behind those big ol eyes. subconscious desire to cannibalize

re: this reddit post i found that discusses the idea that bedelia was too focused on being safe from hannibal, and that she neglected to consider the danger of actively provoking will (and his jealousy), who is just as dangerous. she did this by taunting him about how she was hannibal's wife, and with him "behind the veil" unlike will. OP says that bedelia seems like will's primary post-fall target because of this, and mentions the end credit scene of bedelia in TWOTL. (i really recommend reading their whole post! it was a very interesting observation and theory)
i am going to work with this idea that will is jealous of/angry at bedelia for her being in italy with hannibal instead of him (because will was supposed to be the one hannibal ran away with), and that the end credit scene of bedelia is reality.
i think there is significance to the fact that bedelia specifically had her leg (and most likely the rest of her limbs) cut off, cooked, and eaten by will and hannibal.
who is the only other person we have seen killed this way? gideon. why did hannibal want gideon dead in the first place? because gideon was effectively stealing hannibal's identity as the chesapeake ripper.
both gideon and bedelia were living lives that were not their lives to live. gideon falsely living as the chesapeake ripper, and bedelia falsely living as hannibal's companion, "behind the veil," in will's place.
i also thought it was interesting that in antipasto, the episode switches between the b&w flashback of hannibal cooking and eating gideon's limbs, and hannibal and bedelia's life in europe. i thought this could've been some subtle foreshadowing — as bedelia is living a life that wasnt hers to live, we see what happened to a man who was living a life that wasn't his to live.
as hannibal and gideon eat together, gideon learns about the real chesapeake ripper ("you were determined to know the chesapeake ripper, gideon. now is your opportunity"). i imagine that will and hannibal would do the same thing to bedelia. explaining their life together post-cliff, which what was supposed to happen post-mizumono, to bedelia who was in will's place, living a life that wasn't hers to live.
even further, i noticed that the painting changes in the room bedelia is in from the last time we see her in TWOTL (when will tells her his plan to fake hannibals escape) to the post-credit scene, which indicates that time has passed. so, they didnt instantly go to kill bedelia after the cliff. this time between the cliff and the post-credit scene could be the story of will and hannibal's life together that they explain to bedelia

so, bedelia gets the same treatment as gideon. they both get to see how it feels to (literally) have a part of them, their identity, their lives, taken from them. as they learn about the life they were stealing from the person whose life they were stealing. the divine punishment of a sinner mirrors the sin being punished.

Now i don't want to be a bitch and bring psychology into this but there is a tini tiny possibility that season 2 slut era Will Graham is a consequence of his severe encephalitis. Sometimes brain damage can lead to personality change. We unfortunately don't know more details about the encephalitis and which parts of his cortex it has affected but we know that by the end of season 1 it was pretty advanced. And sometimes changes like that happen. But again, this is just a theory. His change could totally be thanks to finally being healthy and having the energy and clarity to play the same game as Hannibal.

I get so embarrassed every time I watch that scene in season 1 where Will has the nightmare his bed is flooding with water. Like he’s supposed to be terrified why does he look like he’s having the best orgasm of his life I’m crying

When Hannibal took Abigail from the recovery home and fed her mushroom tea, Alana showed up and went ballistic. Her exact words were “shockingly rude, Hannibal”, which I find interesting because Hannibal literally kills rude people. It’s his whole thing. “Whenever feasible, one should always try to eat the rude.” But he was rude! He defied Alana and stole her patient and did what he wanted with her because he felt like it. I wonder, is that a slip up on his part, and he didn’t realize it would be rude, or does he not apply his own code to himself?

What boggles my mind is how when listening to TTPD as a Fannibal you kinda interpreted it as Hannigram having a conversation back and forth to eachother, each song relying a different narrative for different points of different times in the show, from the first episode, to will in Jail, to Hannibal in France.
Each song is just Hannigram giving there perspective of the things that happened, three songs that i believe back this up but the third one is not necessarily Hannigram in anyway.
The black dog (Will, talking/telling someone Or Hannibal about how he sees the relationship)
The albatross (Hannibal and his response/ view of it all)
How it ends ( is us the viewers watching and from beginning to end how Hannigram ends but in the characters perspective , all our theories and questions about, what happened after the Cliff scene, to What we believed happened and what he interpreted all the interaction between hannigram but through the characters eyes, the lyrics that back this up are “Come one, come all, it's happenin' again
The empathetic hunger descends
We'll tell no one except all of our friends
But I still don't know how did it end”)
This is the only song that i feel on the album that is from an outsider perspective but looking in through the characters point of view until the very end and still asking the question how did it truly end.

we don't brain rot enough about Hannibal fighting for his life in every situation except when it's Will. When it's his boy he is like "okay, take me, deity, if it's your wish to take my life, I shall allow it"

Yellow is the most volatile; you stain it? The tone rots. You pair it with light, and it hugs it; you pair it with anything else, and it bites.
A color theory schoolwork that I spent wayy too much time in, idk what came over me.

Theory time:
I'm wondering what kinda role that Alastor might have on Charlie's development like will he influence her? I think it's weird that Alastor and Lilith both have been gone for seven years, maybe Lilith asked Alastor to keep an eye on her daughter and help protect her, im not sure. But that's not the point. But the question is what does Alastor gain from this?
Well he claimed he was bored, so maybe he saw Charlie on the interview and saw those quick flashes of her demon form. Maybe he was interested in what extent her powers go. I think Alastor has the same mindset as Hannibal Lector does with Will Graham from the NBC show. Both are intelligent and manipulative characters, both serial killers and cannibals. Hannibal sees the potential of Will, wanting to encourage him to finally embrace his full potential, a type of potential that Will is extremely hesitant to unleash.
Alastor seems to have the same mindset, he wants to unlock Charlie's potential, a type of potential she also works hard to conceal. Not at all say that this is gonna be a romance like Hannibal and Will had. I'm just pointing out that they both have similar thought processes.
Honestly what sparked this was listening to the fan made song, Hell of A Team. The line that caught my attention was Charlie: "get it in your head, you're never gonna change me."
Alastor: "no, I only want to set you free."
But that's just a theory, something sparked from a song that isn't considered cannon. I could be totally wrong, I just wanted to put my theory down before I forget lol

So, I finaly finished Hannibal and I had some Thougts during the series who I Like to Share
First of all
In the End, Will knew He would not Survie
Maybe he knew since he decided to kill Hannibal in the First Place
But in the end he finaly knew and he decided Not to say good by to annyone
He just want to be with Hannibal at this Moment
Second
The symbolism is Crazy
I Think all here knew that
But in fakt
Without all the things around:
Two „Enemies“ a detective and a elegant villain how Play a catch ended with them both jumping/falling from a clif together
I know this Plot and Not from Hannibal
(I think Sir Arthur Conan Doyle have someting to say about that)
Third
The Possibility that Will accepted himself and run away with Hannibal (in the different Possibilities They have, ether there take Abigaile with them or not, I realy dont care)
Lives in my Head rent free an I bag you to recomend some FFs to me cause in the Show there where way to little Will Killing Sence
Yeah so
(BTW englisch is not my First Language so overlook a few mistakes)
