Make it to the fullest

The story of my life doesn't exist in just four corners of the room. Exploring another dimension is one of my favorite destination. Existing in this world full of judgements. Life isn't easy, as you think as it is. Two decades is not enough to measure the capabilities of individual. That's why I'm living to the fullest. Cooking is one of the reasons why I'm still happy, despite of the struggles I'm encountering.

Well, I start cooking when I was thirteen years old. I'd never thought that after seven years I'm so obsessed in cooking for the reason of, it really boosts my self-esteem. I'm cooking for everyday dishes and especially for occasions. I always challenge myself to innovate the normal process and ingredients of a specific dish. The everyday dishes that I cooked is for my family. Since my parents already quit from cooking for us, because they already thought us on how be a responsible also we are old enough to cook for ourselves that is why I substituted as a chef in the family. I planned for everyday meal from breakfast to dinner. Early in the morning the simple scrambled egg will turn into a different one. Like I'll put milk, cheese and any spices available in the fridge. If you just put a salt in it obviously the taste will be very plain. I’ll make sure that the scrambled egg will lighten up and remarkable to their tongue. The simple ingredients you have in your home make it different for your love ones. Start the day with a smile in the face of every single bite of the egg, it will really remind every member of the family how grateful they are to taste that kind of egg.Well, this is the wrap up of the breakfast meal in a day. Serving a first meal in the table is fulfilling though the food is not elegant and expensive but the essence of the effort and love is priceless. Basically, after breakfast, another meal is approaching and this is the lunch.

The kind of meal for lunch is not expensive as you think, our family owned a unique recipe kind of roasted but a different one. I don’t know how to classify this because it was originally made by my mother. We call it “Chaka Dada” the ingredients are chicken, sprite (soda), garlic and oyster sauce, pepper and salt to taste. The needed ingredients are simple and only few that is why it is easy to pull off this kind of dish that would probably love by your family or even friends or anyone. It is like a roasted chicken in the casserole. The taste is kind of sweet, a little bit of salty and oily kind of thing. There is no hustle in preparing, you’ll just put all the ingredients in the casserole and leave it for 30 minutes with the average amount of fire. You’ll wait for the moment when the chicken is already color brown and when the oil comes out naturally from its fat of the chicken. Don’t remove the oil because this will add to the flavoring. The time when you already meet the exact color and texture of the chicken, and there you go the “Chaka Dada”. The meal for lunch is another story to tell because it is originally made by my mother and we named it after her nickname “Dada” while the “Chaka” is for just funny thing which means ugly. Every time we cook this, we are just so happy because of the name and the taste. I guaranteed you to try this one. First, no hustle in cooking and everything is fine for at least 30 minutes your dish is already done. Second, the ingredients are so simple. Lastly, it can be served not just in ordinary days even in special occasions this will probably love by the guests.

Doubts

Doubts are always winding on my mind. I don’t know whether it’s a sign that I should push what my heart says or just give up because odds aren’t in my favor. Written in scriptures, you have to believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. And so you cling on to this scriptures believing truly that everything happening to you is just God’s way of testing whether you are resilient or worthy to have what you’re dreaming of. Yet, when you keep on stumbling down, when rocks are always thrown at you, you just can’t help yourself to doubt whether it’s a sign that you should just stop holding on to something you know you can’t take. But still, a part of you is whispering to hold on, take a deep breath and let God rule it out. Everything happens for a reason, you may be facing a lot of adversities now, but after every storm, there’s always a rainbow waiting out there.

How the Barangay do Budgeting and Approval

15th week, the end is near the venture soon will come to a close. we haven’t had a class on techno for about 3 weeks, but we still must continue to do the things needed to validate the product. it was really hard to go try and make things work, because there are times that things are really against you. but the key here is always be persistent and have a courage to stand up whenever you fall. because that’s how people learn from mistakes and experience.

On this week we are still working on things with the barangay we do educate and interview with barangay officials. these are to clarify on how the barangays can make up for the budgeting on projects and how they decide on what projects are to be done. we are targeting these types of questions since our product is being implemented on barangays then we need to know how these barangays can accommodate our product. so far on what we interviewed, they are saying that the allocation of budget will came depending on what project is being made. and if there’s a project that exceeds 50K then there will be a bidding, we still don’t know this bidding they are talking about but we think that they bid on how much the project will cost.

Then second is we interviewed regarding how projects for barangay are being approved. so they are saying that once there are projects proposed the barangay council will held a meeting regarding the project then in order to bed approved the project must get the majority of the council’s votes. then the budgeting will come if approved. these information gathered from barangays are very important since that’s where we get our sales.

There are things that this venture taught me, one of it is to never hesitate on doing things that you’re afraid. only because of this venture I learned not to be hesitant on talking with other people. I now have more confidence talking to strangers. and these may not be big learnings but these things are very important in the future. because we all communicate.
