Oh my god him!! Okay, so, tea in the morning, no matter what. I think he's not really a coffee person, so he'll always have tea. As much as he loves his people and his kingdom, this man will take any chance to grab you and take you somewhere where only the sea knows. Dances in the rain, at least 15 minutes together in the morning. No matter if he has somewhere to go, or if you need to do something. Not a day goes by without at least 15 minutes. He for sure tells you all the legends of the sea!

the luck and the stars

a/n: I don't want to comment <3

warnings: mentions of fear and sadness and such :(

Nikolai Lantsov never considered himself to be lucky. Since the day when he realised that royal family he was born in isn't as perfect as it was thought to be, the young prince was sure that stars didn't like him very much, since they put him into that specific family.

Soon, he forgot about stars and all that silly stuff. He became someone who didn't need luck, but created it for himself. Sturmhond was happier, more free than the prince could ever be. The sea became his world and the stars were no longer enemies.

Then the war happened. Sturmhond had to be left behind and Nikolai's stars were ruined once more. The constant feeling of anger and fear was all he could feel and no one could help him. No one but her.

Nikolai Lantsov never considered himself to be lucky. Except when he found her and when she was with him. And ever since then, he realized that the stars maybe didn't love him, but didn't hate him either.

Her poems were about him, even if he never realized that. Instead, he just loved to hear her voice. No matter what she was saying, hearing her speak made him calmer. It made all the feeling of fear, sadness and such dissapear.

She closed her notebook, and turned to him. Nikolai closed his eyes as soon as he sensed her moving, knowing all the jokes she'd make if she catched him staring at her.

He could almost hear her smile, and, he knew he'd smile too, so he burried himself even deeper in the sheets, opening them as an invite to join him.

And as he felt her laying next to him, her arms wraping around him and her lips on his cheeks, he finally gave in and smiled.

Nikolai Lantsov never considered himself to be lucky. But the stars have shifted and sent you to him, so he must have been at least a little bit lucky.

I know you're not asleep, you know that sobacka? she laughed, and he could only smile more for hearing her laugh.

the story of sea and death

a/n: I don't like this but it's my first ever so who cares. <3

warnings: mentions of alcohol, death, angst

Nikolai Lantsov was always a man of the sea. It was the wind that messed with his blonde hair, the sun that shone on his crew, nights sky filled with stars that made the water his home. He felt safe here, where his responsibilities, all that was expected of him couldn't find him. The sea was his safe space.

That was until the dark came. Before the night fell, she was still safe with him. He could keep an eye on her, and he knew she was okay. But now, as he layed on the bed in this huge, empty palace he couldn't help but wonder if she's alright now.

The sea has once been his home, partly because it was hers too. Once, many weeks ago.

Now only a shadow is by his side. There's no one to warn him about the storm coming, no one to wrap their arms around his body.

The scream that fell from her lips was the only thing his mind could allow him to hear, destroying him and destroying till he couldn't take it anymore.

A single tear fell down his face, another bottle already in prince's hand, sobs that broke her over and over.

I'm here. I'll never you leave you. she wanted to say. But it wouldn't make any difference even if she was right next to him, only the sound of his broken soul filling the room.

Come back. he cried. I can't do this without you.
