OM UTSTÄLLNINGEN Jag sitter vid samma bord och ser ut på samma vägg. Timmar, dagar, år. Skuggorna och ljusen flyttar sig fortare än jag hinner teckna och jag blir aldrig färdig. Små glada rosa, långa skarpa kilar i lila. Solgult och cerise jagar varandra. Är det okej att bara sitta och titta på en vägg? Jag vet inte, jag bara gör det.

OM KONSTNÄREN Ylva Trapp - bor och verkar i Stockholm men längtar ofta bort. Utbildad på Konstfack och Konsthögskolan i Umeå. Driver sen 2010 tillsammans med Frida Krohn Konsthall323 - en konstinstitution i en bil.

OM UTSTÄLLNINGEN Många generationers feminister har lyft blicken mot horisonten och den globala frigörelsen från allt förtryck. Kopplingen mellan kapitalism, rasism, sexism och miljöförstöring har varit given. Vi har lärt oss att det personliga blev politiskt (och det politiska blev till konst). Kanske är det den framtida generationen feminister som lyckas med det planetära perspektivet på frigörelse. Det planetära perspektivet har inte människans blick som utgångläge. Det planetära perspektivet är allt annat än människotillvänt. Den nya generationens miljöaktivism handlar inte om människans överlevnad utan om människans frigörelse från människan själv och vår egofixering. Världen och tiden kommer överleva oss. Frågan är hur mycket eller lite skada vi lämnat bakom oss när evolutionen gjort oss till historia. Verket är ett samarbete med konstnärens 11-åriga barn Rio Gäredal vars handstil utgör formuleringen av samtidens brådskande tillstånd.

OM KONSTNÄREN Zafira Vrba Woodski, född 1980, är en svensk-tjeckisk konstnär, curator och författare baserad i Stockholm. Genom sin konst utforskar Zafira uppfattningar om tid och släktskap, queerhistoria, samtidsarkeologi och transperspektiv. Zafira har ställt ut på Världskulturmuseet, Historiska museet, Malmö konstmuseum, NotQuite, Konstepidemin, Jönköpings läns museum och på filmfestivaler världen över. Vid sidan av sitt konstnärskap är Zafira praktiserande dödsdoula och religiöst obunden pastor. 2023 öppnade hen High Heel Funerals & Ceremonies, en byrå som erbjuder andligt stöd och ceremonier till personer inom lgbtqia-spektret.

OM UTSTÄLLNINGEN Att titta på och läsa en målning är en upplevelse som ständigt förändras och blir mer och mer märklig i samband med vår allt kortare uppmärksamhet. Jag är intresserad av hur denna gamla visuella form fortfarande rymmer våra tankar, hur den kan fånga och uttrycka något i vår hjärna som är summan av alla våra erfarenheter, och fortsätta att fungera på sin egen envisa "målningstid". Mina målningar kommer från tankar kring klimatförändringar, ekologi, medvetande, tid, sammankoppling, gamla andliga praktiker, välformade frukter, månen, längtan efter förfäder, skuggor, ritualer, moln, saker som man inte kan mäta och saker som man inte kan definiera.  Det är en form av att ta in den naturliga världen och knyta an till dess försvinnande varelser och växter, till förhistoriska och nutida idéer och ritualer och omvandla dessa kopplingar till en visuell upplevelse. Jag är intresserad av visuellt intellekt och av att på ett lekfullt sätt komponera idéer som kommer från en inre smält massa.  Härifrån tar ambivalenta och anarkistiska former och utrymmen form som bara kan existera inom måleriets språk.  Målningarna är skiktade och livfulla, humoristiska och ibland absurda, och befinner sig någonstans mellan det man vet och det man inte vet, och firar denna plats.

OM KONSTNÄREN Den polsk-svenska konstnären Agnieszka Katz Barlow bor och arbetar i Brixton, London. Hon har en BA i Fine Art från Central St Martins och en MFA från Slade School of Art, London 2015. Agnieszka har ställt ut i Storbritannien och USA, där hennes verk finns i privata samlingar.
