3. Did they have an experience they consider their "sexual awakening?"

Arsenic: No, but also yes. He's been sexually active since he was about sixteen; typical, horny teenager shit. However, he had his upbringing that "sex=attraction" which greatly differed from how he actually treated it (opportunity to feel good, no strings attached). Crow was his sexual awakening in the fact that he was actually attracted to them and he actually wanted to make a sexual relationship work with them when it finally delved down into it.

Crow: Yes, and it was Arsenic. Beforehand meeting him, if a relationship seemed like it was steering sexual or was pointed out that it needed to be for it to continue, they'd just peace out. They didn't experience sexual attraction. Though, how easily they were able to dip out of the relationships too, it didn't seem like they really had a romantic attraction either. Arsenic was that change. Knowing the type of person he was, the way their relationship progressed, they actually did start getting curious. Sure, it took them two-hundred years, but they did finally get to that point and... well... they liked it!

Ripper: Not really, not unless you count him realizing he hates one night stands as an awakening. Yeah, he had girlfriends before Amelia, but Amelia had been his one and only until they had to split up to keep the kids safe. When he did attempt to date again, some dates did turn into something sexual and he absolutely hated it. It felt good in the moment, but after the fact? He felt horrible. He swore off even going on casual dates because he couldn't handle the mental torture it was not being able to be committed to someone.

4. Do they tends towards people with a vagina or one with a dick when seeking sexual partners?

Arsenic: He definitely leans more towards people with vaginas. He's not opposed to having sex with someone who has a dick, but he's the one giving, never receiving, unless it's receiving a blowjob.

Crow: They'd be OK with both. Since their only experience is with dick, they're really not too sure just how much they'd like to give/receive from someone with a vagina, but it wouldn't necessarily bother them.

Ripper: He's only ever been with partners who have vaginas. That's not to say he wouldn't try a partner with a dick, but he's not too keen on receiving. He's tried pegging before and he didn't like it. However, he's never given head, nor a handjob to another dick-haver before, so it's a possibility!

17. Weirdest place they've had sex?

Arsenic: His weirdest place was a hotel kitchen. He's no stranger to having sex in kitchen after hours, but this had just been some random kitchen in a hotel that had no overnight food ordering. Fan saw him, fawned over him. He'd been bored and wanted a little bit of action. He cleaned up afterwards because it's still a kitchen and needs to be clean. He's really not too keen on being in places were people could potentially see him and, now in a stable relationship with someone who's strictly 'personal house only' for sex (currently), he hasn't done anything really out of the ordinary.

Crow: Not applicable. They've only ever had sex in the privacy of their own bedroom and/or house. They're not at a level of comfort where they'd be willing to try anywhere else and not sure if they'd ever be in that state of comfort.

Ripper: Church confessional cabinet; this style. It'd been the first one night stand he'd ever had after Amelia had moved across the country with the kids. The church was open to the public, the confessionals were right there. A little bit of a role play happened (if asked about it now, he'd be incredibly embarrassed about that part, it was weird even for him, but he thought the relationship was gonna turn into something); she got into the booth and the rest was history. The whole thing made him feel very uneasy after the fact (the whole Catholic upbringing thing), but he felt worse when she ghosted him.

50. What do they consider foreplay?

Arsenic: For him, it normally starts off with dirty talk and touching. Things he can get away with. Delayed gratification. 'I can touch you but you can't touch me.' He likes being the one to initiate and this is normally how he'd start. Though, if a partner tries to initiate, it's easiest to just get him with verbal teasing. He's not as big of a fan of touching unless already laying in bed.

Crow: (Thankfully for Arsenic) Is the same way. Verbal teasing is the best way to initiate and how they'd be more likely to initiate. Touching they really only want to receive. Kissing of non-genital area erogenous zones, especially when caught off guard is something they also like doing (when they can reach that is, considering Arsenic is nearly a foot taller than them and they know one of his sweet spots is the nape of his neck).

Ripper: He's an incredibly hands on person when it comes to foreplay. Yeah, there's gonna be some verbal stuff, but he wants nothing more than to touch. If he's not allowed to for whatever reason (they don't want to be touched yet, not letting him touch yet gets him going too), then he'll lay on visual and verbal thick. Dancing provocatively, if he's got his hands on anything he can use as bondage to tease (rope is the easiest choice for him), stripping, he'll go for it. He wants his partner to be excited for what he'll bring and he'll be sure to almost spell it out for them.

64. How much PDA are they comfortable with?

Arsenic: He's not a fan of PDA, even when it's around people he's known for a long time. Yes, he'll still let his partner love on him and do what they're comfortable with; but unless he's actively trying to piss someone off? He's most likely not going to reciprocate.

Crow: They're fine with more cutesy stuff. Hugging, holding hands, kissing, cuddling. Making out? Ehh... it depends on the situation. Before many prying eyes can see, they're OK with, but they're still on alert. Touching genital area erogenous zones are off limits, as well as the chest. Sex is a very heavy no; the idea of getting caught in the act makes them extremely uncomfortable.

Ripper: Ripper is comfortable with anything short of straight up public sex. Once it delves down into that, he's a bit more on the side of caution. He's not against exhibitionism, the thrill of potentially getting caught is a wonderful feeling, but if caught, he will end the act, regardless of closeness to finishing or not.

this is under a read-more because it got fucking LONG. you signed up for my rambly tangents though

okay so in those mysterious 5 years cowboy enigma (which we'll shorten to EC bc im not writing cowboy enigma this entire time sorry folks) traveled to this like small town and it was like. 2010 i think? anyway EC was strolling about in his cowboy getup and there was this small, like 13 year old girl crying so he goes over and introduces himself and comforts her. this 13 yrold girl was called herself "arsenic" bc she was on a huge toxin/poison kick. arsenic had no good father figure so as soon as EC showed up she was like "DAD? IS THAT YOU?" and he had to be like "youve known me for five minutes. PLEASE tell me somebody taught you stranger danger. it doesnt even have to be true just please tell me somebody- no, no, actually, i have to be a good example, dont i? you should, uh, tell the truth and not lie. ever. i mean unless ur in danger, i guess like thats a pretty good reason. but not other reasons. or. well. i mean. maybe other reasons. well. hm. well."

anyway they bonded and he became her begrudging father figure and she was fiercely protective of him bc he was kinda pathetic and funny. he then away for a few months bc he was traveling and never came back which seriously fucked with her bc like, did he just leave and decide to never come back without even letting her KNOW? a few years later she was telling her friends about him and one of them suggested that he was a time traveler and that he had come from the year 3077 to warn the present of impending danger but the evil shadow corporation killed him before he could get the word out. they all laughed. later on she was like "fuck. maybe he WAS a time traveler. god and that wouldn't even be the weirdest thing about him"

(in reality he was framed for murder in a different country. i mean, he did commit murders, but not those ones. then life was too messy to even consider contacting her, and like, i think he underestimated how much she cared about him and how much she needed him. self worth issues AYYYYY. he didnt want to put her in any more danger then he already did just by being there)

later on when shes an adult she finds woe.begone and uh. Well. you can probably guess what happens next. thinking of making her codename thing V0LUNTEER. she feels SO vindicated when time travel is proven to be real, like punching the air "I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!" not happy she had to cut her own left arm off at the shoulder though. the phantom pain was interesting to experience tho. when she got to the second part of the third challenge she laughed hysterically and started crying, for many reasons but none that she could name

arsenic can absolutely appreciate the bug mandalas, they mainly collect vertebrates but they probably have some dead bug displays too (including plague beetles, somehow)

Hell yeah! I expect that Jinana also has a few vertebrate specimens (specially in the modern AU) - s/he does have a fascination with Very Small Animals and how they actually have a whole skeleton in there, with bones and everything!

I've been working exclusively on Motley and no other personal project for like 2 years now, and I think I've finally hit a wall. Which I don't love, because I sure am ready to see it as a pilot!!! But I've had so many ideas for it at this point that I've ended up with a bunch of crossed wires that I can't seem to untangle.

I'm gonna let it rest for a little bit and try to work on a smaller project. Maybe that's the sort of palette cleanser I need to get the gears turning again.
