Look, I've tried but just can't get on board with this design, like I get they wanted it to be more sleek and modern but I just think it's ugly and lost almost everything that made The Omnitrix visually interesting. It stopped looking like a cool, mysterious, alien device and became...an apple watch

My Ben 10 OG Alien designs! These are my designs for Ben's original Aliens as he grows into a young adult, and how those forms would evolve with age.

In most cases this just means adapting the clothing, in some cases making changes to line up with how we see these forms in the episode "Ben 10,000" and hint at that progression, or otherwise 'age up' aliens, some of whom already look like full adults at 10 so idfk.

All clothing is reimagined, desaturating the Omniverse Green significantly to make the colour blend in more with the aliens whos natural colours aren't as compatible with bright green.

Otherwise the most important design feature for me was making the aliens less humanoid. Four Arms looses his neck again and gets a prominent second pair of pecs, XLR8 becomes more raptor-esque, and Stinkfly more insectoid.

I've got sketches for Cannonbolt, Wildvine, Blitzwolfer, and Snare-Oh so maybe I'll go back and finish those someday!

So here are the rules of this omnitrix

Firstly it's kind of a recalibrated version of the OV omnitrix hence the similar touch dial.

When Ben added in the Matrix Core it completely changed appearance to encompass all it's new features.

With this it includes every single alien transformation that he has unlocked up until this point albiet the matrix core mutated versions.

The mistransformation glitch is gone..any mistransformation ben has comes from him just not paying attention to the alien he selected and a psuedo master control which allows him to switch from alien to alien with ease and a quick cooldown time.

The drawbacks are since The mutated transformations use wayyy more power than the regular omnitrix forms he runs the risk of draining the "battery". And since the core was never perfected staying transformed for too long as well as switching through aliens too frequently puts a huge physical strain on ben himself.

Now as for how the mutated forms themselves work..think of the ultimate aliens crossed with the anti trix aliens from the reboot.

So the Matrix core basically super evolves whatever species Bens selected to their natural evolutionary peak...so for example if Ben had a saiyan transformation it would evolve to a super saiyan 4 since as far as we know that is the peak of NATURAL saiyan evolution.(yes ik the god forms are stronger and i actually like them wayy more than 4 but those technically can't be achieved naturally by any saiyan)

If it was a human form it would either make them a meta human or activate the x gene.

So yeah the forms have to make some sense from an evolutionary standpoint to Ult Humungousaurs hand missles,Ult big chills Fire ice and Ult Wildmutts speaking don't count.

So after the alien is evolved they remain that way as long as the matrix core is part of the omnitrix..no turning it off and on like the ultimates. So like how the anti trix aliens are constantly mutated.

Also Ben gives his mutated forms new names just to differentiate them.

My take on a Heatblast design from Ben 10. I generally work with a few rules when doing these which is part of the reason why I designed a uniform for Heatblast, since he wouldn't be able to incorporate the Omnitrix directly into his body.

this version of teen ben, in the reboot continuity, has become FAR more adept at using the watch, learning how to customize the ui of the watch and turning it into a touch screen band that gives him a playing-card style readout for each alien as he selects them. this ben has gotten used to regularly being called on by azimuth as, inspired by bens heroics, azimuth has begun trying to attone for the damage he and vilgax caused by recovering dangerous galvan tech thats fallen into the hands of villains on different worlds. with him are generally either young ace pilot rook blonko, or fellow earth hero rex salazar, both of whom he’s become good friends with.

Bio: Beyta was born at Planet Vegeta and then raised on Earth by Mando as a kid. Beyta began to learn how to use his energy, Chaos Energy, by training at night, which caused him to found the Omnitrix. After a couple of years, Beyta became a Time Patroller & Hero of the Saiyans

New upgrade, same old Omnitrix. I ask Bulma to make an upgrade to my Omnitrix and after that, BOOM! My Omnitrix style design have been looking awesome and it makes it easier for me to go alien... A little bit I guess.
