My friend and I were on call as I was wrighting and drawing . While we were talking she mentioned a quote book I have been working on and asked about some of them.

“I fell once from heaven from disgrace”

“I fell a second time for the love of you”

“ I refuse to fall for the third time”

The first thing she says is “GOOD OMENS CROWLEY!” I haven’t really thought of it as I written so much that I don’t always think of some places these quotes could apply. Funny now realizing she was correct.

Hey Ninjago fans! According to Niek van Slagmaat, Lloyd's Hydro mech is one of the few things that evolved out of being a crab, (Specifically a $40 Kai Crab Mech), which sounded way cooler than what we got, so much so that I made my own!

Open Studio Series Ultra Magnus? Nah. I'll do something I haven't done in 15 years: Build a semi-original Lego set USING BIONICLE PIECES! 😅

I named him Frank. He's essentially a modified Vorahk set. I used another Rahkshi's legs to give him elbow articulation and added fingers for good measure.

I pulled the Shadow Kraata that came with Makuta to give to Frank since I don't have any Kraata-Vo anymore (long story).

Since Frank's articulated fingers can't properly hold anything, I decided to make his Staff Of Hunger into claw-like weapons that can rotate on a Technic friction pin.

It's a 50/50 split if Frank is going to hug you or attack you. 😅

So yeah, Frank's design isn't anything special, but this is the first time I've done any creative Lego building in well over a decade. I really should try to get back into this.

Dear me,

It was a though year with ups and downs, with rainny and sunny days, with sadness and happiness, yet you made it thorugh all of it like you usually does. It was hard, and you heart had to learn, forcefully, how to heal while you keep learning how to forgive yourself. It was hard because your heart had to get used to living alone again.

In this big world, surrounded by people, you keep trying to find a place to belong with, and a soul match who could conect with you on a emotional level that can share with you the same beliefs and principles.

It was a hard path for your walk and your soles bleed constantly because of the rocks, yet you never stop walking further and further, despite your pain and suffering. You kept walking toward the unwokn destination with a hope in your heart and a positive mind. You tried your best to make yourself proud of you as you always does.

It's never been easy for you, nor did you have a wonderful life, yet you took from it all the lessons it had to give you. It shaped you, it made you stronger, it made you grow constantly, it made you understand where you stand and for whom you matter.

It was so overwhelming and exhausting that you could barely breathe at some point. And all you needed was a break; a break from bad people, a break from your thoughts, a break from everyone and everything. And yet you took a deep breath and decided to continue without a break to go out into the world. You did it, as always, despite your reluctance, because you loved being surrounded by people. Despite the ugly nature of people, you found them beautiful. Then you understood that this is you: you love and hate people equally!

It was a year full of surprises. It was a year where you discovered things about yourself that you didn't know you could do, that you didn't know you had the ability to do.

It was a year in which you learned a few new things, met new people.

It was a life full of sweetness and bitterness, it is a life full of sweetness and bitterness. But it's okay, because these are the pleasure of life, the beauty of it. And you love it!

Do not carry regrets and pain in your soul more than you can bear. Don't get caught up in the past, and don't be so afraid of the future. The future has always been uncertain and unclear. It wouldn't be called "Future" if it wouldn't be like that.

But I saw that you kept running and running and running. Why are you running? Aren't you tired?

I know it's not easy and it wasn't easy.

Stop allowing fears to control your mind and heart, fight them. Be a winner, not a loser. Love yourself more, respect yourself more, forgive yourself all the time. It's okay to make mistakes sometimes. It helps you to understand, to learn, to become a little wiser, so that you can avoid dangers and be more cautious.

But please never forget: at the end of the day, all you have is you!

That's why, be strong, always be yourself, and don't let pain and disappointments dominate you. Be your own sunshine! Be proud of yourself always!

You did well!

[SWB 200] Imagination

Pretty wild that it's already been 200 of these! As they say: Time flies when you're having fun.

I want to take the opportunity of this milestone to thank everyone who has been supportive and interested in my builds since I started with "Sokoda's weekly builds" all the way back in January 2019. The nice comments, suggestions and interactions are always a big part in what keeps me going, motivated and inspired. Some of you who have been with the project for a while might recognize that this build, is a bit of an homage or sequel to the 100th weekly build. I wanted to expand on the idea of the brick being the basis that bursts out into worlds of imagination and creativity. This time maybe less of an explosion like in [SWB 100] Creativity, but more like an egg out of which new creations hatch.

This build is once again fully buildable, and I made instructions in case anyone wants to recreate it:
