In honor of my love for ATLA and Zutara resurfacing again after the new show came out :') I know Zuko isn't that much taller than Katara in the main series but let's pretend this is a time skip. I just wanted to see Katara in that dress!

Also, this is my first time ever drawing them!!!! CRYINGGG They are both so pretty to draw! I had so much fun with Zuko's scar, and Katara's color palette is simply gorgeous

After drawing Zutara yesterday, I immediately missed Rivamika LOL. Saw another fun panel today from the web toon Selena and thought it'd be fun to do another roto-drawing (I'm just gonna call it that from here on)

Made it a lil steamier with the smaller details. Also played around w thinner lines this time around compared to the usual thicker lines I love.

Been awhile since drawing somethin' steamy for Levi and Mikasa HEHE

I'm in my absolute post-war Rivamika brain rot right now. Saw a random clip of Insomniacs After School of two characters having their awkward first kiss and it was adorable. I wanted to turn them into RM immediately, and so I did!

(Another trace/draw/edit hybrid... Still can't draw without reference or tracing and I wanna make that clear LOL. But gosh do I love coloring/shading)

I imagined Levi and Mikasa exchanged letters after the war for many years, then Levi finally visits her on Paradis. Neither of them realize they had feelings for each other... Until they finally see each other under the tree. They kiss in front of Eren's grave. :) Lol

It's been awhile but I'm here to give y'all a new piece! :') Referenced art from a manga, Re-employment Life With An Unsociable Untalkative Magician. I saw the panel and immediately wanted to see Rivamika in their place so I coughed up the 8 hours to do it!

Full transparency, I traced the hell out of this as I usually do with these transformation hybrid pieces: trace, but draw Levi and Mikasa in, and do all the coloring and rendering from scratch.

I can't believe I took on that many details LOL but worth it! Here's the version without the filter on -- but I did love the vintage and golden-hour feel with the filter.

Might write up a quick one-shot for this soon :)

I present to you...

Attack on Titan x Final Fantasy VII crossover!!

I've ALWAYS wanted to do this kind of piece and I finally had time and motivation to do it over the course of two nights, especially after officially beating Crisis Core (and actually crying over the ending)! Mikasa as Tifa Lockhart, and Levi as Cloud Strife (but also kind of Zack Fair; I threw on Zack's face scars just because it looks cool).

I'm am over the moon about this and loooove how it came out! I did a few more techniques this time around and phew, was it worth it.

Don't they both look FOINE omg

My love for FFVII has really taken off recently with playing Crisis Core so it felt like the perfect timing to bring these two series together. Hope y'all love it!!

Okay!!! Hey!! This shows my actual gradual progression!!! Line work, shading/highlighting and detailing, even head/hair proportions, have gotten sooo much better. And I’d say the latest piece even took me LESS time than any of those first three. I’m really really really stoked about this progress, it almost makes me wanna cry lol. I used to dream about making cool digital fanart!! I saw a post from loooong ago of me trying to manifest someone making AOT x Final Fantasy art, for example 😭😂

To be fair, Final Fantasy is 3D-style so I had great reference lighting and shadow, but I definitely have more control over the program and I’m getting a clear idea of how I like the skin to look like. Fabrics/clothing are still hard for me; thankfully Tifa/Cloud only had sturdier leather pieces on them, but I do want to study/practice 1) fabric and 2) anatomy. I feel like I can move on from what I’ve been practicing, and it’s time to step into improving another part of drawing!

Just a reminder to keep creating!!! Every practice session makes you better!!!

I found my sketchpad today and felt like trying to draw with pencil/paper again for the first time in probably over a year and a half! Ever since I got my drawing tablet I haven't really done this... But I also wanted to see how I can eye out proportions now after 1.5 years of practicing on digital! I can def see big improvement. :') Obviously still super rough but no doubt I can see that improvement. Was just drawing a Levi and Mikasa head but it turned itself into this lol!

At first it was just gonna be Levi blushing/pretending to not be phased by Mikasa standing so closely to his face but after I put his face scars and thought of him post-war, I thought of them on their first public date post-war and how unsure Mikasa would be about revealing to others that they're dating... And then Levi's like whatever, I don't give a shit anymore LOL

Sweet girl deserves all the celebration!! May she continue to be our favorite muse in all forms of our fandom art :') This one was based off of a photo Sara Takatsuki posted, the actress who played Mikasa in the AOT Musical <3

This one I tried out a different highlight method on the edge. It feels like a nice finishing touch!

Made some quick art for my latest one-shot, The Perfect Brew :) Will prob use it as cover art too!

Still experimenting with this sketchier style but I really have consistently been enjoying it! I also realized this week marks one year of drawing digitally! It is yet another passion that sprung up last year and I'm proud of my progress :')

Rivamika Week 1: CINEMA

I worked on this earlier this week when I had more time -- I had a more general interpretation with the 'cinema' theme thinking about them going to watch a movie together in a cinema theater and Mikasa falling asleep on his shoulder hehehe (I guess this falls under #freetheme kinda)
