“Mephistopheles, The Arch Devil of Baator”

You may have seen this handsome devil floating around the reddit/twitter sphere last year, and he has finally made his way here.

Re-Introductions might be in order. Hi my name is Allie! I am a fantasy artist that loves painting dragons and women with claws, horns, and thorns. Plus, the occassional devious devil.

I joined Tumblr in 2011 to bear witness to my college years and the works I created in school. (You can view the times of old for now... until I feel like making all those posts private.) Now, with everything happening on Twitter, it only felt right to get this page up and running again. I worry about the changes that will come. I had so many opportunities come from Twitter. So many things I don’t think could have happened without the ttrpg community there and the random happenstance of discoverability.

I wish only good things for every artist on Twitter. No matter what happens.

Hints of Mephisto exist in our campaign, which is what originally drew me into creating my own design. Mephisto had a completely different description in AD&D than in the newer editions or even Pathfinder. Something about the ice of Cania and the encompassing detail of blue was a big part of the imagery that I latched onto. No repeat of the red alien beast from the Star Trek movie that was last minute placed into a frosty terrain.

AD&D Monster Manual II description."Mephistopheles is a nine foot tall, blue-black humanoid with handsome, yet diabolical features. He has huge muscles that befit his great strength, and his speech is whispering wind. His wings, horns, and talons are deep blue and his scales are sooty black. His eyes are pale blue with red irises and pupils."

Other lore describes him as a paranoid individual. Always questioning the loyalty of his cohorts, for he himself is constantly trying to reach Asmodeus' throne, which means others could be aiming to covet his place in the Nine Hells. The tendency to show charm and control has been described as a façade, well maintained when present at court but otherwise short fused and quick to lash out when alone or dealing independently with others. Daddy... sorry.

Of course... here he is taking on the visage of something much more charming and devilish than his true form.

Flake's podcast - Gay and lesbian

The biggest force in life and the only one Flake respects (apart from his wife) is Nature. And the biggest drive in Nature is Sex, big parts of life are about sex, thinking about sex, sex to reproduce, and to prevent to many people being born, Nature also created same-sex so it's completely natural for a man to love a man and woman to love a woman. That is the intro to this podcast, and Flake plays songs about, or by, gay or lesbian artists, some of whom are well known to be gay, some who had to hide it for a long time (and some, to be honest, i think Flake is 'outing' without really knowing 🍀 but as he sees homosexuality as something completely normal, he doesn't have a problem with that).

As a sidenote he also mentions some of his favorite things:

Completely fitting in the theme at 1h40 Flake plays the Rammstein song 'Mann gegen Mann' which to the band is called 'Schwuler' (but their Swedish producer Mann gegen Mann (Man against man) sounded better, Flake thinks it should at least have been Mann mit Mann (Man with man)), the songtitle comes from the Family Values Tour in the US which Rammstein did with a.o. Korn, Korn had a song 'Faget', and Rammstein told them it meant 'Schwuler' in German. They heard it so often at the tour that they made a song about it.

But the funnest anecdote (especially for the fanfic-inclined among us) is at 1h02, where Flake talks about when Rammstein records an album, they retreat to a studio and for three weeks they do everything together: make music, eat together, sit down after work, watch tv, and they all get really familiar. When hanging out together they regularly drop a theme and talk about each one's experience with it, often it turns out that a theme that one thought they had only experienced themselves, others know about as well. Well, one night the topic 'Homo erotic experience' was brought to the table, and as it turned out, the entire band had their experience with that...either going home with someone after a party , or when they were at school with a friend... ��️ Most people have both sides in them, sometimes inclined a bit more to one side, sometimes to the other, and Flake also occassionally is attracted, to a guy, for instance in a movie.

He knows what it's like to get a warm feeling in his heart ❤️

PS. because of that anecdote, I'm not going to complain that he completely fails to acknowledge Adam Lambert is singing in Queen 😄 and that he isn't playing Freddie Mercury's boyfriend in the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' movie (or maybe i am in the wrong there 😊)

TSIME: Meet Bobby's Crew (part 1)

One of my favorite parts of writing is actually just character creation. I love knowing exactly what they look like and all kinds of fun details about them, even if those details never end up in the actual story. So I figure, since I wasted tons of time making long character profiles for them, I figured I might as well write them up, make them pretty, and share them. Why am I doing this? Because sharing is caring. Duh. Defnitely not because I'm avoiding editing. How dare you?

ANYWAY. In this post we're meeting Bobby's best friend, his husband, and their daughter.

Meet Louis:

Interesting facts:

🗸 Louis is a loving, generous soul and does not charge Bobby rent. But he does occassionally ask for baked goods and Bobby always obliges.

🗸 Before they even got engaged, he insisted on paying for all of Dean's sick mum's housing and care, to take the stress off of his beloved.

🗸 He's a homebody who hates traveling. He finds it stressful and doesn't like feeling unmoored. He decided against going to a prestigious culinary school because he didn't want to leave Glasgow.

🗸 He and Lili get along because they're both type-A snugglers.

🗸 Comes from a wealthy family. His mother is a very successful estate agent and his father was a popular rugger (now retired). He's an only child.

🗸 His father, who grew up working class, decided that Louis should go to public school so he'd experience the real world outside of their wealthy bubble.

🗸 In school Louis was routinely, sometimes viciously bullied for being posh. Something he never told his family. But he didn't come out until he was twenty years old because he feared even more bullying for being gay. His parents had already guessed and gave him nothing but love and support.

🗸 Louis was not happy when Bobby added Jonno to their friend group in P6 and even less happy when Fenella was added when they were adults. He puts up with them because he loves Bobby and just accepts that his best friend is the type who brings mangy strays home, thinking they're beautiful. And who is Louis to tell him they're not? That said, they're not all mingin'. He adores Maitland and Nivaan.

Meet Dean:

Interesting facts: (there's a lot for Dean)

🗸 Despite being so tall and muscular, Dean is a fluffy bunny of a man. Very sentimental and kind. He will not kill bugs. If Louis wants a spider squashed, he's on his own.

🗸 He has four siblings, one sister and three brothers. He was the youngest. His home life was not great. His family was incredibly poor and his dad was abusive, sexist, and homophobic (among other award-winning personality traits). His mother was loving, but very passive and preferred not to rock the boat.

🗸 When he was fourteen he was trying to make sense of his bisexuality, so he confided in his mum. One of his older brothers overheard and told their dad. To say it was handled poorly would be an understatment. Hurt, scared, and unwelcome in his home, he moved in with his sister, an artist who lives in Rochdale. He says she is the person who actually raised him to be a decent person.

🗸 His mum and dad divorced when she had two strokes and his fuckface father wasn't interested in caring for her. Dean routinely comes down to Norfolk to take care of her affairs as she didn't want to move. His brothers do care about their mum, but theyre mostly skivers who don't know how to be helpful. His sister keeps in contact with Dean, but she has no interest in being near the the rest of the family so he's the only one taking care of his mum.

🗸 His dad and brothers actually have the nerve to try demanding money and help from him, because they know Louis is wealthy. Never mind that they have not supported their marriage and have never said a kind word to either of them. Dean has never given them a dime.

🗸 He has never and will never ever admit this to anyone, but the night he met Bobby at the pub, he assumed the Scot was grafting and he was 100% ready to take him back to his hotel room. So he was confused when Bobby told him he'd called his friend Louis and he was coming to the pub to meet Dean. Then Louis showed up and Dean could hardly speak because he was so instantly and completely smitten. It was weeks later that he realized Bobby was just obliviously flirtatious with everyone.

q. drawing tablet? i dont use one, i draw with a mouse. (i do occassionally draw with a gaomon, though.)

q. pen codes? 1893068 (lineart/sketch) 1895396 (coloring) please note that the lineart pen looks different using a mouse verses using a tablet.

q. canvas size? varies, however i tend to draw on a 1600x1200 canvas and screenshot smaller drawings. (if not 1600x1200 then its usually around 200x200)

q. can i reference/take inspiration? yes, as long as it isnt traced or heavily referenced. (colorpicking is fine with me too, i don't mind.)

q. will you post timelapses? due to the uptake in ai learning off timelapses, no.

q. can i make fanart/fiction? absolutely 100%. i love seeing fanart of my characters, and would love it if you @'d me for it as well. (just as long as it isnt nsfw or kink stuff ofc.)

q. will you make a tutorial on (x) technique? as of right now, no. i'm not the best teacher and i'm not sure how i would explain my techniques in a way that would be genuinely helpful to learn.

So I had a few ideas for a hypothetical OP for @phantomrose96 's Candy Hair Saga, so I figured I'd share what I have. Unfortunately, I am not a good enough artist yet, so I can really only describe the shots. Fair warning, this is all a bit disconnected and fragmented.

The music starts quiet as we see MC-Kun (his hair in this scene is pink for most of the season, but it is white for the final episode) running to the left against a black background. He reaches out, and we follow his gaze to see a scratched-out figure. (On the final episode whe get to see a blue eye through the scratches.) The camera zooms in to the figure before showing MC-kun falling into a black abyss, with an EKG tracing (the line shown on heartrate monitors) being shown right as he falls out of sight. The tracing splits open into a shower of pastel color, specifically a stylized yellow sky with clouds of multiple colors, as the music picks up and the main title appears: Candy Hair Saga.

The camera then pans down to show a crowd of people milling about, including MC-Kun, MG-Chan, GG-Chan, and RBR-Kun, as well as some secondary candy hairs and Villain-Chan. However, our main 4 are without their disguises, and Villain-Chan is wearing hers.

The camera shifts to show MC-Kun on the left side of the shot, walking torwards the camera, allowing us a good glimpse his bag which has a variety of pins showing off his various interests, with the most prominent one being a train pin. Occasionally the camera glitches to show him with his gelled- pink-haired appearance, and for a few frames it shows him with white hair. Behind him is Villain-chan in her disguise, walking away from him. The camera is focused such that it is easy to not notice Villain-Chan.

The camera rotates 180 degrees, giving us quick glimpses of RBR-Kun and GG-Chan before stopping to show MG-Chan on the right side of the shot, again, walking towards the camera. She too is without her disguise, and the camera occassionally glitches to show her with her blue-haired look. Next to and slightly in front of her are Tome Ito and Whale-Kun, walking in the same direction as MG-chan and talking to each other.

We then cut to shots of MG-Chan and MC-Kun looking behind them before cutting to still-shots. First is of the tournament venue, second of the school they go to. The third shot is much more hazy, and shows a grassy, mystical forest. However, at a sudden swell in the music, the grass cracks and becomes discolored, as if it's hair that has been bleached, while the rest of the shot becomes pitch black. We zoom out to show Tome Ito, with the previous shot being his hair (the grass being his green tuft and the black being what was once his red hair). We watch as his bleached-green hair also becomes black and the hairdo as a whole flatten out, which seems to cause distress to Ito, before the camera zooms out, causing his image to blur.

We see a bottle of pink hair dye, a comb, a pair of bottle-cap glasses, and some cuff links fall against a black background, before they are all grabbed by a hand from the darkness and crushed. However, doing so ruptures the dye bottle and stains the shot pink for the next scene.

In a later scene, we are shown a quick close up of GG-Chan typing, before she looks up, looking somewhat confused. The shot then switches to show her standing neutrally and rotating around, as the background shows a room full of art pieces and supplies. We then see RBR-Kun flaunting his (empty) wallet with a smirk before showing a similar rotating shor for him, with his background showing a humble, meagre dining room. Then we see MG-Chan, looking up from some clothes she's sewing and smiling at the camera, before switching to the rotating shot. Her background shows the backstage of a school play. Lastly, we see MC-Kun give a thumbs up. However, while his shot seems like it will be similar to the others at first, he does not rotate. For most of the season, the background here is a blank white void; for the last episode, it instead shows a hospital bed.

An action scene. It begins by showing MG-Chan in her chef outfit, vigorously sautéing some ingredients before pouring in some sauce. We zoom in through the falling sauce to see RBR-Kun riding on a pure-white horse, wearing an incredibly prissy jockey's outfit. He raises a bow and fires to the left. The camera follows the arrow until it flies by GG-Chan's head. The camera zooms out to show that she is wearing mostly the same outfit, save for an earpiece and a regal robe. She points forwards commandingly, and the camera shifts to show an army of black chess pieces under her command raise their hands in loyalty. We zoom in among them to see MC-Kun, who raises a blade and starts charging forwards, before swinging it. As he does, light reflects off the blade and into the camera, causing the screen to fade to white.

The scene fades back in to show the four characters standing on a rooftop, hair whipping in the wind. MG-Chan's wig is blown off by the wind and she turns behind her. What she sees depends on the episode. At first she just sees a sunset. Then, after she officially joins MC-Kun, she sees Villain-Chan's silhouette. After the first confrontation with Villain-Chan, she sees Villain-Chan in her disguise, with a determined look. After their second confrontation with Villain-Chan begins, Villain-Chan instead has her natural pink hair color, and is still wearing her determined expression. Finally, at the final episode, she sees Villain-Chan with the same expression, save for a tear running down her cheek. The camera pans up to show the title once again: Candy Hair Saga.

Ah :'). Actually this is a good question because I can't even remember‼️‼️ My mental health is improving im glad to say 🥳

3) Do you have kids?

Im a minor 😬... I do have four pets though, my beautiful favorite boy loki, Cocoa, Shimi and Bobbi!

I don't sport 🙏

EXTREMELY PALE BLUE!!! I have green tho 😞

8) Horror movie good or bad ending?

Depends! I love a bittersweet ending, especially for a villain. They did all of this just to save someone dying in their arms. They did all this "good" just for everyone to turn on them. They survived but at what cost? Ugh its EVERYTHING to me.

9) Any talents?

No 👍 (just because I know my moots will attack me for that I like to draw and write and I am pretty proud of my writing sometimes)

10) Where were you born?

georgia....... not there anymore tho, so now I have to deal with SNOW 😾

11) What are your hobbies?

I like to draw, write and vibeo game! Specifically Overwatch, Bg3, Minecraft, and (occassionally) dbd. I also like spamming my friends:)

Yes! I have my beloved pug, Loki bo Boki. He is very lazy and cute. I also have a chug eskimo mix, Cocoa, who's crazy and anxious. Then there's Shimi, my ragdoll, who is very cuddly and fluffy, and finally Bobbi, the wretched little bobtail (with love).

7'8 (cannot reach the top of my fridge, is 2 apples tall)

So, who exactly am I?

I'm Rayna (but you can call me Ray), I'm 23, a complete British + Bisexual Stereotype, and my pronouns are She/They. Oh, I'm a Borrower too so I'm around 4" tall! ^w^

Why did I make this blog?

I created this blog in 2017 shortly after discovering the G/T* community! I've always loved the idea of being tiny (I remember having quite a few dreams/daydreams when I was a kid about my favourite characters being giants) so I was very happy to discover that there's actually a whole community dedicated to this pretty niche/weird love of mine! :D

*G/T stands for Giant/Tiny and it’s essentially about extreme size-differences! It can range from Giants interacting with Humans to Humans interacting with Borrowers/Fairies/etc. (also referred to as Tinies) and there are so many creative ways to explore these dynamics.

People also tend to identify as giants, tinies or size-shifters- I personally prefer being the tiny (around 3-4" tall) in any scenario but that’s just my preference. ^^

What do I post?

Obviously this blog is predominantly dedicated to G/T, but here’s a quick overview of what I post/draw/write the most:

G/T Fluff! This blog is mainly about cute moments between Giants and Tinies because I absolutely adore stuff like that. Handheld fluff is my absolute favourite, as one of the most comforting things I can imagine is being held by a giant and feeling really protected and loved. (That’s one of the main reasons behind why I love it so much, I tend to get really stressed/anxious a lot of the time and I find a lot of comfort in how calm and happy G/T makes me feel)

You can also expect to see a LOT of G/T memes and puns!

I also draw a lot of G/T Art (and occassionally write short stories too), I've drawn it for various fandoms but I do like creating original work too. A lot of my more recent work is G/T Art involving my partner too because they're an adorable Giant and I love them >w<

I also post random thoughts/ideas/ramblings occassionally...

Any other interests/hobbies?

I’m really interested in Animation and I hope to pursue it as a career one day! I also love reading comics (especially independent ones/ones based on shows/films that I like) and I enjoy making them sometimes.

Another one of my favourite hobbies is baking! I love making brownies the most, but cakes and cookies are a lot of fun too.

Gemini mars + Gemini venus in 1st house is probably why he can seem intimidating at first (Mars) but charming later (Venus). Zuho does look fierce and he's aware of it, which is why he's always telling people he's not as scary as he seems (if anything he's the opposite of scary lol...this man is the scaredy cat).

I'm still learning a bit about degree theory, so I may not be too correct on this...Zuho is a Taurus rising at 20° - a Scorpio degree - so maybe that's also why he has a strong appearance. I honestly thought he was a Scorpio rising before I found his birth time

Moon square ascendant might make him seem moody. He's probably moody in general, especially since he's a Cancer sun, but he has other aspects that make him appear confident and determined

Venus in 1st + Taurus rising likely enhances his Venus energy more, making him charismatic (also with the help of venus-mars conjunction). The very wide shoulders, pointed chin and angular jaw, calm and quiet composure, slender fingers...Traits I've noticed in a lot of Taurus risings. Even my 2 Taurus rising sisters both have slender fingers too. My younger sis especially has strong Venus influence, which gives her the broad shoulders with the similar face shape

I find it so interesting how Venus is one of his dominant planets and he calls himself the male version of Venus, even having the lyric tattooed on his thigh

Mercury in 2nd makes him preoccupied with his finances and business, e.g clothing line Celui Huru

His Aquarius moon and Sun in 3rd makes him really communicative and social. It's very easy for him to get acquainted with others and get their phone numbers. Plus he does just...talk and talk on Vlives lol. His chart has air dominance, so I think his life theme is revolved around communication and interactions

Also a bit of a detached feeling...? It could be from the air dominance and Aqua moon. Maybe his Pluto in 7th as well (likely plays a major part in his chart since he has pluto sag at 0°). As social as he is, it likely takes a lot for Zuho to genuinely trust someone and let them in his heart. He definitely loves deeply and seems to be really loyal (maybe a bit possessive too due to pluto), but he doesn't want to waste his time with just anyone. Saturn in 12th seems to find it difficult to share his deeper feelings though (either he's really private or he doesn't understand how to process them). He's probably been alone a lot in his life and tries to avoid feeling lonely. He has admitted to occassionally regretting moving out from the dorm bc he's alone after schedules are done and his home feels empty without the members. Especially as a Cancer, family and a comfortable home are really important to him

Seems to be really self critical and sensitive to other's criticism as well but tries not to show it. Although I think that's a given, being an artist and all. But he enjoys what he does, it gives him emotional fulfillment (moon in 10th). He's even got tattoos of his member's bdays and Fantasy's bday as well, so his career is definitely something he loves genuinely. Aquarius MC is probably why he's so odd. Air + aquarius dominance in his chart, he's definitely really strange and wants to express himself in a unique way. His need for self expression is prioritized more by Jupiter in 9th; individuality and just overall being himself is important. Neptune in 9th may make him idealistic and open minded. He seems to work best alone since he can get things done faster and do things how he wants without much restriction. He wants to make a mark on the world with his work, wants to live a meaningful life

My friend and i spent much of today running around ALL over the san gabriel valley hunting down christmas decorations. And its fun because this is my very first christmas with my very own home (kinda) and very own real life actual tree, so i've been trying to decorate with what my idea of a 'california' christmas' would look like. And like for sure thats been an aspiration ever since this:

But its also bittesweet because here i am finally with a place to put up decorations and go all out, and i dont have anything with memories.

My mom 'separated' from us when i was eleven/twelve, and christmas kind of limped along - it was the only time of year my family was under the same roof. So it was this strangeness of mom and dad pretending to get along for like one morning out of the year. And then the divorce was finalized and suddenly teenage-idiot me was tasked with being the entire holiday spirit. And i tried - i had ONE christmas CD: bing crosby's white christmas. So i played that non stop and dad obliged me by at least putting up the tree every year since i physically could not. But other than that it was all left up to me. And dad was dealing with clinical depression, spending most of his time in the old master bedroom whenever the two of us weren't exercising - hiking/gym.

I would put up all the ornaments and string the lights and bake the cookies and sing along to bing. My baby brother occassionally would help a little but he was only eight - mostly he just would play with the toy train i set up under the tree (and the toy 'castle' i would set up)(mom wasnt there to tell me it wasn't properly 'christmas' LOL).

Like dont get me wrong - it was WONDERFUL having mom gone - the yelling, screaming, and abuse went down to nearly zero. But it also felt as if the life went out of my dad with it. And i just had to keep smiling.

THEN i go off to college, dad marries the bitchiest rich blonde bitch to ever bitch in secret without even telling his parents. Suddenly 'christmas' is back, suddenly dad wants to reinstate our old traditions. And to give him credit he does try to get jord and i to play along, but neither my brother nor i are having this shit. I stop coming home for christmas, staying in pittsburgh and working instead (and my roomates would usually go home to families), and i discover that i actually am bitter for all the years i felt like i was alone in holding our fucked up family together with a piece of string. Dad sells our old house and moves into the rich bitch's millionaire mansion, who disapproves of my baby brother so as soon as jord turns 18 dad kicks him out WITHOUT Telling me. Dad also doesn't tell me that he sells all our old ornaments, christmas decorations, and lights. The new house is covered in photos of the rich bitch and the two step kids. I arrive and discover my dad has left my brother with nohere to go except my abusive mother's place, i yell at my dad a LOT, rich bitch hates me, dad and i stop talking. My poor italian grandparents who have been the backbone through all of this and also dislike rich bitch are very long suffering (my grandma now in ohio after grandpa died likes to joke that rich bitch would not 'survive' life on the farm and thats why she doesnt visit when my dad comes)(grandma is right lol)

TLDR

This christmas, finally, i get to figure out what celebrating means to me on my own without any roommates, or work, or family as a distraction. And honestly? I expected it to feel lonelier. But i think the truth is that the christmases of my childhood when i felt like i was smiling and miming like a clown to a passive depressed audience were far far lonelier than this ever could. Like i have friends here who will help me carry the tree to/from the lot. I have friends who will search for the perfect lights and succulent pots just because they find it fun. My bestest friend over at the artist's house - currently in covid quarantine - has invited me to help decorate there every year since i arrived in LA and i am sure they will do the same for me.

And like my favorite 90s rom com would say: there may not be the someone, but there is the hope of a someone. Which is a heck of a lot better than being a pawn in the middle of a failed loveless marriage, and the years i felt like a stranger renting a little room in someone else's home (no matter how close my friends and i were). Maybe the shine will wear off quickly and i will start feeling how very alone i am? But for now i get to enjoy going completely silly excited over something as simple as choo-choo train ribbon in the craft store.

I know you're short, this has been established. I picture longer legs and shorter torso. Jeans and band shirts. Boots, obviously. No tattoos, maybe pierced ears but that's all for body mods. Pale skin with short blond hair. Light eyes. Will occassionally dress up irl, but will do it more willingly as part of a power play situation. (This is solely based on the boots with fishnets pic).

Never before now have I put in any thought in whether my legs were longer than my torso, so I had to look XD I guess they are a bit? Like a 3/5 legs 2/5 torso maybe? I have no clue hahaha

Jeans and band t-shirts are a yes. Boots when going out is accurate too, tho I preserve my leather boots, especially in winter. So I have several pairs depending on the weather I'm heading out into and how much I care about said boots. My real nice dom(me) boots are almost exclusively an indoors wear.

Wrong on tattoos, I have several! And something like 50+ ideas I want in my tattoo list XD I fucking love getting tattooed. If my artist lived closer, I would be COVERED already. Pale skin is right, I am TRANSPARENT XD As in, legit see-through white, my veins are super visible and blue, I love it. I turn into a boiled lobster within minutes in the sun, #IrishHeritage As for the hair, yes to short, blond-adjacent? It's more of an ashen blonde / chestnut leaning with a red tone in the sun, that's also the #IrishHeritage along with the Nordic, Canadian European mutt-blood XD When I don't dye it of course, which right now I'm not doing to give the hair a health recovery break. My eyes aren't super light but they're not dark either, they're kinda right in the middle. They do that amber with the green circle around thing.

Literally the only reason I'd ever dress up would be, indeed, for a BDSM party or for a high protocole date or something like that. And even then, I am very much a "play in your pjs if you wanna, you're still dominant" kind of person, because dominance is a mindset and actions taken, not a way to dress. it seems to me that the official japanese site posts higher resolution versions of the cards than the english site, so i may post the same card twice, one version per site, depending on if i feel like posting it too

i also recommend looking for sources outside tumblr. there's PokeGuardian for tcg cards and El_Aleph87 for various obscure artwork

Stuff I Use

For digital art I use Procreate on an iPad. For traditional art I use an assortment of stolen mechanical pencils and grading pencils for sketching, Ohuhu markers or crusty watercolors for coloring, and assorted black fineliners for inking.

Recent updates about my life

I was so tired recently, for the job being more busy and a lot of changes happened in the past month. One of my very skilled manager left the company for his family, and somehow it is short staffed almost all the time. To fill the gap, I was told to help some parts, but it is a lot of responsibility to teach newbees and take care of myself as well.

I want to try to be at the assistant position, but I am still in a position to need someone to teach me things. I know my managers trust me that I am capable, but I am feeling like always on edge.

I wish I could focus on just this job, but because I am a freelance musician, and a teacher as well, I need to look after my own business to thrive so that one day if I ever need to relocate outside of Japan, I still have income. It's just the way I chose to live so I cannot give up on it. Plus, it gives me hope and purpose. I feel happy working on it, and seeing my craft being played on my computer, or seeing my students grow and pass exams.

As for my love life, I am taking some break from it all. It is a great change I made this year, because I don't waste money on things I know will not work. But I made friends from overseas through online language exchange app. I play chess with them, exchange letters with one of them, sometimes talk about our culture and teach each other languages.

I am not the most sociable person, so it exhausts me if I am always around people. I like plants, writing letters, playing chess occassionally. I love comedy and music.

I made another friend too. She is way older than me, but she has young soul. She teaches me things like

She says things very blatantly, and it is refreshing to me. Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming but I learned that I should not always stay in my own bubble, because there are happiness outside your own head that helps you stay inspired as an artist.

She plans to go back to her country soon, probably in a month or so. It is exhausting me to hear her preach about things but it is good for me. Today and yesterday I took some time for myself to just be alone and rest my mind. Writing and creating things help me express what I have been piling up inside me.

In an hour or so, I will have to start teaching but I hope I survive the two day office work that I have for this week. Only two more days, you got this girl.
