Original Story Masterlist

This is a comprehensive, ever-updating list of my current WIPs! Every WIP that has a solid enough concept/outline, that I could theoretically start writing immediately, goes here. WIPs that have only vague ideas will instead be found at my Casual Story Masterlist. These are organized by their priority levels as of the making of the post, but may not remain that way as I add new stories + shift my content priorities around! The highest priority WIP will remain above the cut, but the rest will always be beneath it!

The Divinations Trilogy (Book 1: Entrails of the Animals)

Kirsen is a young elf who doesn't really know how to function if she doesn't have a job- a purpose, to keep her busy. When she stumbles upon the Ironwatch, and an ages-old prophecy about ending the world with a magic as rare as it is powerful, it really does seem like she's found just that. But life in Usoara will never be quite so simple and there are life-shattering revelations just waiting to claw their way to freedom. If Kirsen isn't careful, attempting to save the world as she knows it may end up costing more than she is capable of giving.

They were the only ones, once upon a time, and no one has ever bothered to write something explaining the culture and ways of them. So, it looks like Fiona's going to have to do that one herself, if she wants to figure out just what it means to be human. A.K.A. The four most traumatized young adults you've ever seen end up teaching each other how to actually acknowledge their mental health and take care of themselves- with a few hang-ups along the way.

Tales of the Lady Red

The Tyrant Queen's children flee the castle in the night, taking to a ship with the goal of making it as far away as possible. A notorious pirate ship, the Red Lady, interferes with that plan. Its Captain is someone with a hunger for the promise of infamy and the way to reach it presented to her on a silver platter; ransom the Queen's children back to her and disappear before the other shoe drops. The siblings were finally free of their mother's abuse...but are they prepared for the harsh life that awaits outside the castle walls?

They Sing of Fireflies

Firefly ran away from home to become a bounty hunter- what they didn't expect to discover was a deadly conspiracy to wipe out lycanthropy and vampirism, no matter how many innocent lives it takes to do so. Which is a bit much for a fifteen-year-old looking for their first taste of danger. But trying to put your past behind you has a funny way of backfiring sometimes and ignoring your future does not prevent it from bleeding out at your feet. When you keep ignoring it, even as the red trails behind you with every step, it's easy to pretend you will outrun the consequences...but your ancestors will sing of your avoidable mistakes.

If she ever wants to get her family back, she's going to have to find the handful of other residents that seem to be unaffected and get to the bottom of things...before there are no more brainwashed-civilians left to save.

Temporal Remedy

After awakening on a space station with no memories aside from her name, Remedy must make what she can out of this new life she has. Unfortunately, she doesn't feel like she was ever the type to sit back and let life sort itself out. When Remedy gets ahold of one of the station's infamous time-travel devices and uses it in a panic, to avoid being caught red-handed, it deposits her in what seems to be several decades earlier.

Which, coincidentally, happens to be the two week period where dozens of crewmembers began disappearing from the station without a trace...and nobody ever figured out what truly happened. So really, when presented with two exciting and enticing mysteries to discover, what did you expect the super nosy, headstrong idiot to do? NOT try and investigate them both at the same time?

Welcome to a new episode of Sapphire Rambles, today's topic being:

Just as c!Tommy is a simbol of Care, c!Fundy is a simbol of Love.

Let me explain.

(There are going to be 3 principal points to this rant, and each of them is gonna end with a Tl;dr in purple, so it's easier to follow)

If you're a regular in the Fundy tag (or in the Ranboo tag since this argument gets often brought up in relation to C!Ranboo), you might have already seen some rants talking about how C!Fundy is an incredibly loving person, willing to chase after the people he care about if he sees the tiniest hint that mending their relationship is possible, even if they hurted him in the past.

Yeah you are going to see the same argument again here in the first part, but I promise this gets interesting

This became more clear after the Break, when he decided to try and mend his relationship with Philza and Ranboo even if they weren't at all on good terms at the moment, but he thought it was worth it so he tried and will keep on trying anyways, but we have examples of Fundy's really loving and forgiving nature back to the Revolutionary era

Everyone knows about Eret's betrayal I'm sure, but one thing people seem to skim over is how it effected Fundy, because there's the really high possibility that he was the one who was hurted the most by it.

For everyone who has some spotty memory (me too sometimes fam), Eret was the closest person to Fundy at the time, the two being really close friends, so the betrayal must have had a terrible effect on his emotional health, but you know how it went?

It went that Fundy was the first person to reach out to Eret and start to forgive his actions. Fundy always valued his friendships above the side he was in. So even tho he was a L'manburg abitant, he still thought of Eret as a dear friend to him and did his best to not make them feel alone or isolated

There are really few examples of people Fundy actually has an issue with, but even here Hate is a strong and mostly wrong word to apply, for example:

- Wilbur: as we are shown in the interactions with Ghostbur, Fundy didn't hate Wilbut for how he neglected and patronized him, it made him upset (as we saw when Ghostbur called him "his little champion" and he ran away) but he never hated Wilbur for that. The only thing he didn't forgive him was deciding to die, leaving him. And his issue with Ghostbur is not aknowledging or taking responsability. But he doesn't hate Ghostbur, he can talk to him in a civil manner even if the Ghost pretty much upsets him. And about Wilbur? Fundy loved Wilbur, the thing that hurted him was he taking the decision to definitivly leave him.

- Technoblade: even before Doomsday, the correct word of Fundy's feelings towards Techno has never been Hate, but Fear. A lot of people seemed to miss this point about the Butcher Army as a whole, but they weren't move by hate, even if they tried to make it look like they were. They were terrified. On their way to Techno's house, it was more clear than ever that they were TERRIBLY afraid of Techno. The Butcher army was never a movement of hate, but a bad reaction to a traumatic event that scarred them with fear. Also, after the Break? Fundy understands why Techno wanted L'manburg gone, so he doesn't hate him for that.

- Jschlatt: if you followed Fundy's pov, it won't be a surprise me saying that Fundy doesn't hate Jschlatt, but it may be news to other people, since one of the last interaction between the two was... anything but positive. I still shiver at the caravan scene. But even after all he's done, Fundy can't bring himself to completly hate Jschlatt, even if he did a lot of horrible things and was a horrible person, he still doesn't hate him. Fundy took with him Jschlatt's sword, keeping it as a relic and a memory of the man.

There is no one in the server, probably not even Dream Himself, that Fundy full-on hates. No matter how much they hurted him and everyone else, he just. Doesn't hate them. He's able to see the humanity in everyone, even if he wishes he could just hate people that wronged him. He was always forgiving and loving, these two aspects of him becoming even more prominent after his Break.

Tl;dr: Fundy is a character incredibly full of love and almost always willing to forgive and mend relationships with people he cares about at the moment he sees the possibility.

Now that I got the part most talked about out of the way, I'm taking the second tangent. Let's talk about Self-love.

It's not news the fact that there are really few characters, if not actually none of them, who love themselves. Might it be for trauma or for guilt, none of the characters actually love themself and act out of self-love.

Sometimes there are characters that act for themselves, but that is different from acting out of self-love.

Acting for themselves means doing something to achieve an objective that you want, for example: Eret's betrayal.

Eret betrayed L'Manburg becayse he was promised the role of King of the SMP by Dream, she acted out of her wish for power and control. That's an example of acting for yourself.

Acting out of self-love means doing something with the only cardinal reason being that it's good for you, taking care of yourself doing something that makes you feel better and healthier. That is acting out of self-love.

And, if you look at the server, you can easily see that no one has ever done that, expect for one single time.

The closest wrong thing you might be thinking off right now is when Tommy escaped from exile, but that was not an act driven by self-love. Sure, Tommy saved himself and went towards a healthier mindset, but what drove him towards that direction was not a desire to be better and good for himself, but rage towards Dream and a desire to be back to his family and friends.

You know what the only act that could possibly be out os self-love is?

Fundy going away for a years and a half, taking a break from everyone

Think about it for a second. Why did he do that? Let's start putting away the wrong possibilities:

- Doing it for someone: Fundy at the moment was heavily spiraling towards paranoia, wanting to be a villain to make everyone hate him. If that was his mindset at the time, why would he even want to get a break for anyone?

- Having a second cause: what second cause could there be for a choice like getting away from an unhealthy situation to heal? The only second reason a choice like this could have is healing to help someone else heal when you're feeling better, but refer to the last point

- ... that's virtually it

The only reason that could have caused Fundy to decide to take a break from the whole situation because it was unhealthy and heal was because he wanted to heal. For himself. He genuinly wanted himself to feel better for the only reason being, simply, feeling better.

Fundy is the only character for now to have ever taken an important choice for making himself feel better and letting himself heal.

Tl;dr: Fundy taking the year and a half break was the only decision on the entire SMP taken only out of self-love and genuine desire to feel better for the sole reason of feeling better.

Fundy is a representation of love, in any shape or form. He is unapologetically full of love and care, both for himself and for the people around him.

Anyway, the third part is a theory, if younwill kindly follow me:

The above analysis is the exact reason why the Egg causes Fundy an extreme repulsion.

Since both Fundy and Tubbo said that the Egg seems connected to Dreamons, I'm going to roll with that idea in mind.

As we all know, one of the only known weaknesses of a Dreamon is Love and this Dreamon seems to be acting and controlling people out of wishes and desires.

Fundy should be a perfect candidate for the Egg to manipulate, isn't he? One of Fundy's most known characteristic is his research for love, affection and appreciation from people, and we know the egg has no problem using love to manipulate someone, because he is manipulating Bbh using his (platonic?) love for Skeppy against him.

So why the egg would cause a repulsing reaction to Fundy?

Tommy seems immune because he doesn't wish for anything right now, he has everything that he wants

Tubbo also has a repulsive reaction, but is not a hateful reaction but one driven by fear and sadness, the Egg purposefully trying to scare him away, probably to make him unable to fight against him

But why Fundy's reaction would be full-on hate?

I think the egg was trying to do with Fundy the same thing he's doing with Tubbo, scaring him so badly to drive them to the point where they cannot fight back out of complete fear, but it's not working.

It's not working because the Egg fears Fundy, fears how full of pure, unfiltered and unapologetic love his heart is, fears how he's the living representation of the fact that love, of any kind, is the strongest emotion out there. Fundy already was able to defeat a Dreamon because of his own love, and now that he's more emotionally stable and has decided to follow his heart more, mending relationship with people he loves even if they hurt him?

Fundy is an incredibly dangerous threat to the Egg.

So fear is not enough to keep the fox away, he cannot let him anywhere near his plans.

He fears that if he tried the fear treatment on Fundy, Fundy would be able to break out of the web of terror as soon as someone he loved was caught in the crossfire

So he tried pushing him away in a different way, using hate instead of fear, because since Fundy is such a love-driven person all around, the best way to keep him away is to use hate, just like Tubbo is often driven by hope and optimism, so the best way to keep him far fron where he could be a danger is to use sadness and fear.

Tl;dr: The Egg is making Fundy hate him because that's the only emotion that could actually keep Fundy away from him, because he, being a Dreamon, fears how full of love Fundy is.

Get To Know A Little About Joey’s Self-Ships!: Khalid/Joanna/Yuri

This will be the first of several posts where I talk about my self-ships, including the dynamics between my self-inserts and f/os, a little bit about their history together, etc.

To start things off, I’m going to start by talking about my main ship!

Khalid(Claude Von Riegan)/Joanna/Yuri LeClerc

Important Note: The self-insert I use in my main Three Houses self-ship shenanigans is the same self-insert I use for Fire Emblem Awakening! This version if Joanna is a manakete (a dragon who can turn into a humanoid form and is generally thought to be immortal), and in her story she comes to Fodlan after five hundred years have past since the events of Awakening.

So what’s actually interesting here is all three of them having something in common right off the bat when Joanna first meets Khalid and Yuri. That being that all three of them are keeping pieces of themselves and their backstories a secret to protect themselves.

Khalid of course goes under the name Claude in Fodlan, and tends to stay close-lipped about being from Almyra (and a prince of Almyra at that) because of the prejudice held against Almyrans by the people of Fodlan. Yuri is also an assumed named (but unlike Claude, he has no canonical real name), and he prefers not to speak of the things he’s done that he considers the most shameful.

In Joanna’s case, she isn’t hiding her name (but she does go under a fake surname when she first comes to Fodlan, Ylisstad.), but like Claude she is hiding her origins (she’s not only not from Fodlan, but she’s not even from the same world as Fodlan), as well as the fact she isn’t human. For the latter, she uses magic conceal her pointed ears that would otherwise hint at her true nature. In her case however, she was not hiding any of this originally when she came to Fodlan. But an unfortunate altercation with a Cardinal of the Church of Seiros upon her arrival made her fear for her safety, but rather than return to Ylisse, she chose to remain in Fodlan as she planned, and went into hiding for a time, making a life for herself as a ‘human’ apothecary as she once did prior to meeting Chrom and the Shepherds long ago. (She’s very stubborn, damn it she came to live in Fodlan and gods damn it she’s gonna try to figure something out before considering high-tailing it back!)

Khalid and Yuri have a few years of development with each other before Joanna even arrives, but even so, the development of the relationship between the three overall I think can be best described as learning to trust one another, and showing support for each other in their individual struggles and their individual battles against the oppression they face in their lives.

And, I think an important part of things once they get into a relationship with each other is that they give each other a space to be vulnerable, to confide in each other and also to give one another both gestures of affection and emotional support, as well as wisdom.

How to best summarize their dynamic:

As stated above, trust is the absolute bedrock foundation of their relationship. There are few in Fodlan the three trust as much as they trust each other, and their loyalty and confidence in each other is damn near unshakable once its established. Joanna does have a natural knack for getting even the most guarded folks to open up and trust her, but even with that it still takes time to reach that state of unshakability. All three of them look out for each other too, and build each other up when they’re confronted with the darkest parts of themselves or what they have to deal with.

Some Khalid/Joanna/Yuri facts:

Part of their relationship development includes trying to figure each other out (Khalid and Yuri actually cooperate together in trying to figure out Joanna, which has resulted in some pretty funny shenanigans taking place).

After the war, eventually they have two children- Emir (who is biologically Khalid’s), and Sonja (who is biologically Yuri’s).

Their storyline follows a Modified version the Golden Deer/Verdant Wind Route of Three Houses (in which Byleth, the player character, selected to teach the Golden Deer), in which some of the characters who died in canon survive, and the events of the Cindered Shadows DLC are canon, but the Ashen Wolves (including Yuri) stayed at Garreg Mach instead of leaving and were brought into the Golden Deer House by Byleth.

All Three of them love to cook! It winds up being a fun way for the three of them to spend time together.

They also are all big cuddlers. Also also! Lots of forehead and nose kisses (as well as kisses in general let’s be real).

Khalid and Joanna share an interest in plants and herbs (for poisons vs healing applications), and eventually wind up teaching some of what they know to Yuri who winds up using it in some of his work with his gang.

Yuri and Joanna both have musical talent and can sing well (Yuri doesn’t like singing in public though, and in Joanna’s case it can make her flustered depending on the context), and they wind up writing a song together for Khalid.

Joanna has been reckless with her own life in battle in the past, but is much better at valuing her own life these days... unless she thinks Yuri or Khalid are in mortal peril. Then she goes apeshit. A couple of times Khalid played defense while Yuri patched her up after said incident of going apeshit.

There’s definitely been times where Yuri rode around on Joanna’s back in her dragon form (once she felt safe to reveal herself) while Khalid rode around on his wyvern.

They’ve all definitely fallen asleep when talking with each other late into the night on several occassions.

spent the last few days having intense brainworms for JDK and TNL, which was really good considering they were the story with the least amount of work and the story needing to most revamps respectively. might ramble a bit about the things ive figured out for them later 👀

he was fairly liked in high school, but despite having relatively successful grades and offers of scholarships from i.t. universities, he still dreamed of becoming a hero despite his father’s efforts to dissuade him. in the end, he faked his transcripts and managed to hack his way into beacon academy. there, his charming and amiable nature, on top of his desperation to be liked didn’t fly as well as it did in high school, and jaune was forced to face challenges that would test the merit of his honesty. while his fraudulent ways throughout high school earned him companions, it was only once he dropped his facades that he started to make genuine friends.

Mis Hijos

Oh Mis hijos de la tierra ...

Yo os hablo de progreso ... crecimiento ... avance ... y la aceleración de vuestra personalidad hacia la Voluntad del Padre y vuestra Identificación.

Vuestra voluntaria conformidad de vuestra voluntad con la voluntad de Dios producirá una personalidad digna de entrar al Reino de los Cielos. Y este Reino se convertirá para vosotros en la realización del despertar del gobierno del Padre que traerá armonía, justicia y orden a vuestra vida de existencia.

No es suficiente producir en vosotros sentimientos religiosos mortales y aquellos impulsos espirituales necesarios que traen buenos sentimientos.

Se necesita carácter. El carácter se desarrolla por estas virtudes cardinales y esos valores trinitarios eternos. Os convertiréis en un individuo excelentemente estable. Un individuo salvajemente seguro. Un individuo apasionadamente seguro que se ha llenado hasta rebosar de respeto propio y dignidad ... humildad ... asombro de la existencia ... y asombro infantil ante las infinitas posibilidades de crecimiento en la Vida que se os ha dado.

Yo os aconsejo que os despojéis de toda cualidad que obstaculice este logro de vuestra unión con la Voluntad del Padre y su Vida ... cada impulso mal calificado debe ser elevado a su correcta rectificación en esta sincera humildad de mente y corazón y de vuestra entera personalidad.

Como vosotros sois verdaderamente mis apóstoles ... entonces vosotros me representaréis adecuadamente en la tierra ... viviendo como yo vivo ... actuando como yo actúo ... dispuestos a dejar ir todo lo que me traiciona; para que os volváis verdaderamente ennoblecidos en la rectitud de carácter ... vivificados en la filiación consciente con el Infinito ... exaltados absolutamente en vuestra disposición sincera de buscar la verdad y el amor bajo todas las condiciones.

Yo os animo a que le déis un gran valor a la vulnerabilidad, la transparencia, la humildad, la vida honorable y la sinceridad. Permitid emerger en vosotros un corazón puro que ansía la verdad y está sediento de rectitud, respeto y reconocimiento al Dios Uno.

Vuestra fidelidad es la verdadera lealtad a Dios Padre, y esta es una de mis virtudes cardinales ... construyendo en vosotros un carácter lleno de coraje para mirar y ser visto ... para verlo todo, es a partir de ahí la comprensión y la obtención y el ganar conocimiento de vosotros mismos.

El coraje está en el corazón mismo de Mis enseñanzas. Yo os instruyo que no temáis ... que no evitéis ... que no ignoréis. Incluso que desarrolléis en vosotros paciencia para que vayáis más lenta y sinceramente en vuestra búsqueda de la verdad y el amor incondicional.

Nuestra asociación es nuestro apostolado que brinda paciencia a aquellos nerviosos y ansiosos ... resistencia y perseverancia y constancia a aquellos dudosos, débiles y heridos ... fuerza y determinación y penetración en el carácter en los superficiales e inmaduros e insensatos que podrían intentar maneras más fáciles para su avance.

Mi espiritualidad religiosa hará de vosotros los nuevos hombres y mujeres de valor ... coraje ... y del heroísmo del alma.

Oh My children of the earth...

I speak to you of progress .. growth .. advancement .. and the acceleration of thine personhood into the Father's Will and Identification.

Thine voluntary conformity of thy will to God’s will shall produce a personality worthy to enter the Kingdom of the Heavens. Andvthis Kingdom shall become for you the awakening realization of the Father's rule bringing harmony and justice and order to thine lifetime of existence.

It is not enough to produce in you mortal religious feelings and those necessary spiritual impulses which bring good feelings.

Character is needed. Character develops by these cardinal virtues, and those everlasting trinitarian values. You shall become a superbly stable individual. A wildly secure individual. A passionately certain individual who has become filled to overflowing with self-respect and dignity .. humility .. awe of existence .. and childlike wonder at the Infinite possibilities of your growth in the Life which hath been given to you.

I advise thee to become stripped away of every quality which hinders this achievement of your union with the Father's Will and his Life .. every wrongly qualified impulse must be heightened unto its righteous rectification in this wholehearted humility of mind and of heart and of thine entire personhood.

As you are truly My apostles .. so shall you properly represent Me upon the earth .. living as I live .. acting as I act .. willing to let go of all which betrays Me; that ye might become truly ennobled in righteousness of character .. enlivened in the conscious sonship with Infinity .. absolutely exalted in your wholehearted willingness to seek truth and love under all conditions.

I encourage you to place great value upon vulnerability, transparency, humility, honorable living, and sincerity. To allow to emerge in you a pure heart which hungers after truth and is athirst for righteousness and respect and recognition of the One God.

Thine fidelity is true loyalty to God the Father, and it is one of My cardinal virtues .. building in you a character teeming with the courage to look and to be seen .. to see all is thereafter to understand and gain knowledge of thyself.

Courage is at the very heart of My teachings. I instruct you to fear not .. to avoid not .. to ignore not. Yet to develop in you patience so that you go more slowly and sincerely in your pursuit of truth and unconditional love.

Our association is our apostleship bringing patience to the nervous and anxious ones .. endurance and perseverance and constancy to the doubtful and weak and injured ones .. strength and determination and penetration in character to the superficial and immature and foolhardy ones who might attempt easier ways to their advancement.

My religious spirituality shall maketh of thee the new men and women of valor .. courage .. and soul heroism.

Come unto Me .. ask and acknowledge and allow and accept and align with the indescribably beautiful will of thine Father God, and all things shall become new and alive for thee.

Let not thine destructive arrogance and the presumptuous vanities of the seeds of rebelliousness lead thee astray into pastures of death and decay and the fearful abominations of those trinkets of pettiness and disdain which would carry you further away from the Infinite Goodness of God's Glory.
