I hope it was a fun birthday :D

Undertale Sans - Something intimate just for you and him. He's not a big fan of parties. He actually bakes a cake all by himself, gives you your present, and then you spends the rest of the day doing nothing on the couch, watching funny movies while cuddling. Sans likes simple things.

Undertale Papyrus - Big surprise party! Well, you kinda guessed it was a surprise party because when he's excited, Papyrus can't really hide it lol. And he acted really suspicious all day long, randomly dragging you across the town to avoid seeing people and stuff :')

Underswap Sans - He takes you to where you first met for dinner. He prepared everything and took a telescope so you could look at the stars once the night fell. He can be romantic when he really wants to.

Underswap Papyrus - He wakes you up at 5 a.m. and asks you to drive the car (because he can't lol) to the place he wants. You're confused until you see you're at Disneyland! Honey is as excited as you are.

Underfell Sans - He tried to bake a cake for you. It looks horrible and it tastes even worse, but he tried lol. You kiss him on the cheek as a thank you, even though he's all grumpy because he failed. You're too good for him.

Underfell Papyrus - He takes you to a fancy restaurant for dinner and acts like a true gentleman all day long, refusing to let you do anything in the house. It's your day, you sit on the couch and let him do his thing. He bought you a nice dress and everything for the restaurant, and red roses.

Horrortale Sans - Willow forced him to wear a suit, and now the poor guy looks constipated lol. Oak wanted a simple day at home with gifts and cakes but his brother insisted he go outside with you. So you went... Uh... Outside??? Oak took it literally. You kinda wandered the streets aimlessly for two hours before Oak sent a text to his brother to ask if they could come back in now xD He then returns to his initial plan: cuddles on the couch, cakes and gifts.

Horrortale Papyrus - Willow cooks a five-star dinner just for you. He really worked hard on it and was excited to show you all he did. He even dressed nicely and put rose petals on the bed and everything. He wanted this dinner to be perfect!

Swapfell Sans - He worked on a beautiful handmade necklace for you, with some of his most precious rocks. He's a little shy when he gives it to you, playing it cool, but you can tell he spent several months on this piece and that he's a bit emotive finally giving it to you.

Swapfell Papyrus - He hid a thousand birthday singing cards in the house. Whenever you open a drawer or a wardrobe, they start to sing lol. Some of them also have recorded messages of Rus screaming and so there's a chance out of two you're getting jumpscared. Rus is very proud of himself.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He says he loves you so much he went to steal the Crown Jewels for you. You laugh, saying he's cute, until he actually gifts you the Crown Jewels he stole during the night. Uh... You're both going to be in trouble, are you?

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He made a cute painting of you. He put all his love for you inside. He's happy you like it. Other than that, you spend the rest of the day cuddling in bed and playing video games because that's all you need to be happy in life.

- He/They/It

- Despite everything, he follows Fate, a theist

- Cynical, erratic, sarcastic, cunning, confident, blunt, perceptive, loud, easily irritable, distrustful, detached, stubborn, theatrical, reserved, cocky, sassy, violent, and self interested

- Makes bracelets for those he tolerates (Blooper. Just Blooper)

- Has dolls for every Sans and Papyrus

- Plays with his dolls regularly, even making shows out of it

- Does not let anyone touch his dolls without permission

- Is fluent in Spanish because of Undernovela

- Hardly ever dresses up, he likes the clothes he has

- He can act childish when angered easily, but calms down overtime

- Hates Fresh, a very specific fear

- Has a mutual hate but respect for Ink

- Has only ever truly befriended Blooper

- Carries a lot of mixed emotions for the Multiverse

- Carries the burden of being the destroyer of timelines and universes. Yes, he has to destroy as many as possible, there is only so much space in the multiverse

- Is actually quite lonely, with very faint memories of his past

- Has dreams of other versions of him, but can never find them. They haunt him, whether because they're good or awful

- Does not like touch unless it's from someone very specific, and only then he can only handle small amounts of it

- Has beef with Red, the two trash talk each other

- Will steal chocolate from other universes, absolutely loves almost any of it except white chocolate

- Has a strange but strong liking for Outertale, it's better than the void

- Does not like small, cramped spaces or the emptiness of voids

- HARDLY ever shows vulnerability in front of others despite how emotionally unwell he is, if he does it's against his will or he's too emotionally distressed to hide it

- Emotional Constipation is his last name

- Erratic and violent fighting style, he's unpredictable and often is emotionally driven

- Curses but funnily has a habit of having his glitches censor it

- Is far from a pacifist, he's never spared someone from a timeline due to the suffering it could inflict on their mental state(Well...except Blooper)

- Glitches the more angry he gets until he just straight up crashes

- Can act like a man baby when arguing with Ink

- Knits and crochets, he's actually pretty good

- Wears sandals (sadly)

- Awkwardly supportive of Blooper

- Talks to himself or his dolls out of loneliness sometimes

- Will ramble about Undernovela because it's a special interest, no one can disrespect it

- Magic smells of battery acid, magic tastes of artificial blue raspberry with a tinge of apple

- Very direct, he is one of the least deceitful Sanses due to not bothering to hide his intentions. After all, he's THE destroyer of universes, timelines, etc

- He is awful at apologizing, but he puts in effort when he does it since he never apologizes unless he feels that they are deserving of it

- Let's others judge him even if he doesn't like it, since it feels like they're right

- Incapable of dying, even when he has tried a few times to kill himself

- His stringed features are glitched tears that stained him. They originally hurt, but not much anymore since he got used to it

- A God, capable of destroying any soul. It's why he can't "dust" Ink or Fresh, however, along with Nightmare or Dream

- Is only a fan of Outertale and OG Undertale

- Stargazes a lot, it's something he does when he needs to reflect or needs comfort

- Has red reading glasses that are taped together, but he still has them nonetheless and uses them occasionally

- He has smacked his own glasses on Blooper when Blooper was originally Blue. He later gave Blooper their own pair

- Has a fear of touch so he has to be the one to initiate it. Even then he can't tolerate it and glitches out. He gets shaken up and the most he can do is use his puppets or offering his pinky as a way to "hold hands" with Blooper

- Nearsighted canonically so he squints his eyes a lot

- He dreads Fresh's company as he's the only one that can snap him out of his serious nature out of distress of his presence

- He has actively ran away from Fresh

- He steals shit all the time and I mean all the fucking time. He can't create so he has to get shit to fill the void somehow!

- He stalks Vanilla and other timelines of UT

- If he was able to destroy every AU, then he'd finally be able to kill himself. Thus, he could finally rest. For now, he just has to think about what it would be like to die and to be dead

- He is chaotic neutral, so he will work with others if it benefits him somehow, though this happens to be rare

- Has memory issues at times and reminds himself with little notes around the antivoid with string

- Has thrown many tantrums before, even throwing Ink a few times because he was angry

- Ink and him when battling is filled with snarky banter despite neither being able to properly die, he just is more sarcastic than Ink

- Cats are the only animal he can touch and then rapidly pet and squish. He secretly loves them

- He will dress up in this pink scarf he got ahold of and he will play dress up when bored

- Magic is infused with his crocheted items and bracelets, which can have different intent depending on his emotions and even count as "marking" someone

- Hates scissors because of Ink

- One out of two to know Ink is soulless, he actively taunts him as well for it

- He actually associates the fear of touch, haphephobia, to be what he has. I hc that because all the touch he's experienced has been violent, he's developed his fear of it. He developed it if you will, and there would have to be a lot of patience before he lets someone close enough

- He actually loves certain puns and jokes, especially if he favors the person saying it at the time

- He prefers long distance combat since he can use his strings more effectively. He's not the most physically strong, but he has a few perks of summoning bones and teleporting/glitching in and out of one location

- When he sees something new, he just stares and prods at it

- If he gets too close to something with tech, it will start to glitch out and form static due to his magic despite the involuntary act

- He's the type of guy to turn around if someone points and says Fresh or Ink are present, actively falling for it just enough to let someone narrowly escspe

- He'll throw a fit if someone tries running away from him

- Sometimes he can reboot, and this leaves him vulnerable at the worst of times. He doesn't actually have a pattern for why it happens, but he goes ragdoll because of it

- He believes that what he's doing as the Destroyer is just, especially because he knows the consequences of why it would be important for him to stop the collision of universes

- He targets most AU's that are small, lack content due to its abandoned creator, or self destroying AU's because they're easier to eliminate without Ink actively noticing too much. He doesn't really go for active AU's unless Nightmare, Dream, or Ink fucked it up via fighting and destroying things. I actually have my own hc for Blooper and how he came to be in Error's possession, but that's for another time. Let's just say it wasn't a kidnapping, but rather a mercy

- His strings become thicker when crying, spilling out and causing him to glitch out without the inability to stop - even if it physically hurts him

- His voice often speeds up or reverberates, especially when stressed or excited

- He's very stubborn and has tried killing both Nightmare and Dream respectfully at some point or another, but he can be bribed with the right price

- He can hear creators and anons inside the void, whispers loud enough to echo in his skull especially when alone. A constant hum where he'd have to pay attention in order to understand all of them. When traveling to other universes or timelines, he can only faintly hear them and tune them out easier

- He doesn't realize that Fatal and Geno are past forms of him, but he recognizes it and in fact I hc that they hardly interact because they actively are constantly glitching in and out inside the anti void. It's a weird science, but it's like a constant blinking within the coding that caused the very slim chance of these skeletons to meet. Memory gaps are present to begin with because they never have the previous memories to begin with, at least...somewhat. Coding is a bitch after all, and one never can erase their past

- He is suspicious of anyone trying to get along with him, building trust between him and you is nearly impossible unless through bribery or a deal. In Blooper's case, it was a special exception

- If something doesn't go his way, he is an active bomb going off with how he's altering the world around him. He'll destroy anything within his vicinity and has even reached points where he alters his surroundings via glitching. I headcanon that with enough charged magic, he can cause massive glitching that starts to "eat" an AU or timeline, which makes the fighting more intense between the Gods

- If he likes someone, which would be practically never, he'll glare at them and side eye them without actively threatening their life. He'll and be more quiet, watching you

- He will use his strings to bend souls to his will, whether that was to make monsters fight, be restricted, or to dust the soul. He used to make some souls go into the anti void as a trophy to be hung above him with string, but not anymore. At some point he stopped being delusional about having to be the Destroyer, and just-....gave up trying to find pleasure with it. He's actually never really enjoyed destroying worlds, especially because he used to want to go back to his original one and knows that he's forever erasing something so special. He's just forced by Fate and desperation to actually do his job. In truth, he hÆt3s Fate

- He doesn't let others see him inside their timelines when he's traveling, stalking, etc. he's les social, but also just doesn't find himself to be a presence anyone wants to be around. He knows why he's there, and even if he doesn't destroy that world, it's easier to just hide

- He's on the aroace spectrum, and mainly just wants to be alone due to his own trauma. I think he would be aroace before, but that trauma just was an extra shove towards avoiding any romantic or sexual attraction/interests

- One thing that he feels extremely guilty for is what happened to Blooper, or originally a Swap Sans. In my hc, I actually think the reason he was left alone was because of a war happening, which caused him to try and keep him safe but ended up being gone for too long. Even when Blooper was losing it, causing havoc, he couldn't bring it in himself to hurt the one person he cared for intentionally even if he already did unintentionally. (DW though, things were resolved at some point)

- He loves Coraline or any odd little movie like that, because when Undernovela isn't playing he likes to watch them. Coraline just has cool dolls, symbolism, and overall fun animation to him. Don't let anyone find out however because he'll never trust you again

Not all glances were unwelcome though. Mpatíni and Teo usually met in secret, but Manthos is a small place, so they were bound to bump in to each other from time to time.

- It's lovely to see you, Teo whispered

- I was hoping you would be here, Mpatíni whispered back

They always tried to hide their emotions when in public, but sometimes they couldn't resist a small kiss or a short embrace, when they thought nobody saw them. But, like we already said, Manthos is a small place, and in small places people are very observant. It didn't take long until Noor had learned the news. She was furious.

- Eteokardiás Asijakas!! How dare you to go behind my back like that? I'm sooo disappointed, Teo!

- But mother, I just ...

- NO, Teo! There is no excuse! You promised! I really don't know what to do with you. First of all you are too young. Second, that girl has no future Teo! No money, no family, no standing, no ethics! When the time comes I want you to find a nice girl. A respectable young woman you can build a family with!

- You don't know her!

- I don't have to know her, to know her kind! She is burnt papyrus! I can't allow you to destroy your future because of a fling.

- But mother, you don't understand!

- I understand more than enough thank you! Now go and finish the garden work. And there will be no more trips to the Agorá, that's for sure!

That evening Noor sat down with Kyria Figaleía, and explained that they were now looking for a suitable wife for Teo.

- Isn't he rather young? Kyria Figaleía asked, I mean, I don't think it's been that long since I was here to discuss your and your sister's marriage?

- Well, time flies Kyria Figaleìa! It must be at least twenty winters back, and Teo is almost fifteen winters now. But how do you think his chances are for a good marriage?

- I'm sure we can find some nice girl for him. I actually have one in mind, but she is of course a tiny bit older than him.

- That wont be a problem, as long as she is from a nice family.

- But of course!

- Great! Let's talk about the details again in a few days.

The two women were very pleased with their preliminary agreement.

Teo on the other hand, was not pleased. He had overheard the conversation, and his heart froze to ice. The thought of being married off to someone he hadn't chosen himself was devastating.

Yandere house! What about an SO who covers under the bed after something big happens to scare them, like its their safe space. Who finds it first and are there any that would pull them out by their leg?

WARNING: Yandere, toxic Relations

Sans -He leaves you be. Like he knows where you are, he has cameras practically everywhere in the mansion but he also knows he won’t be much help if you are terrified. Sans is fully aware that he is not in touch with his feelings and he wouldn’t know where to start helping you feel better so he’ll just let you do your thing. If he is the cause of it though he will feel immensely guilty and keep an eye on you until you emerge from your safe place. 

Papyrus -He doesn’t feel anything in this situation, he doesn’t fully understand why you are hiding under the blanket either. He will make some comment about you being sleepy or something before going about his day. If you tell him you were/are scared then he will feel two things: anger and guilt. He is angry that someone would make you feel scared and guilty that he didn’t notice sooner, either way he apologies that he didn’t notice. 

Red -It takes him a long time to find you, he wasn’t looking that hard and he probably didn’t even see you run off. When he does he has no idea why you are hiding so starts yelling at you before physically dragging you out. When he sees the scared look on your face he freezes instantly knowing he’s fuck it up somehow. He lets you go and more angry with himself he will yell again before storming off. He knows this is his fault but with so many emotions running through him he doesn’t know how to react 

Edge -Patiently waits by the side of your bed drinking his tea and reading a book. He doesn’t know what to say to make you feel better but he doesn’t want to leave you alone either. He doesn’t talk or make much sound and will wait for you to come out and tell him when you are ready. If he’s the one who scared you you do get an apology from him that sounds very sincere. 

Blue -Tells you that you're being silly although he does feel very guilty about scaring you. It seems to be a common occurrence and although he doesn’t want you to be scared he isn’t going to change who he is. He’ll suggest the two of you make a blanket fort together. If you refuse though he will drag you out and force you to help with threats. It’s meant to be a good time, you're the one ruining it with your sniffling and crying. 

Orange -He does find you but it depends who you're scared of. If he scared you somehow he might try to explain himself or he’ll leave you alone out of disgust if it was too bad. He really doesn’t like people knowing about his yandere side. If one of the others scared you he plays a very dotting and worried role. Getting you a weighted blanket, some snakes and telling you that everything is going to be ok. 

Berry -Instantly feels like it’s his fault even if it might not have been. He sits with his knees pulled to his chest on the floor next to your bed waiting for you to be ok. Guilt is eating him alive and as soon as you emerge he is apologizing for everything he had done that morning praying that you don’t hate him.

Syrup -You weren’t meant to see that but it can’t be helped. It doesn’t matter if it was him who scared you or someone else his reaction will be the same when he finds you. He gets you a warm drink, a thick blanket to throw over the one you have, a soft toy and some snacks. Placing them near your bed or on your bedside table before leaving you be. He doesn’t say anything but he is trying to make you feel better or at least safer.

Hi! Can I request Ut, Us, and Uf Sans and Papyrus with a s/o who’s very empathetic? Like if someone’s anxious they’re anxious, and they struggle to say no, and they cry to seeing animals get hurt, stuff like that?

For sure! Thank you for the ask. For some reason, this one was hard for me to write :(

Sans: Sans understands that some people feel emotions differently than others, but whenever he sees you almost crying because you found a hurt bird or you’re worried because people around you are worried even though you have no idea what was going on, he feels a little confused. This wasn’t just a normal human thing; there have been so many humans who didn’t feel emotions like this. He might ask a few questions, but other than that, he’ll treat you normally. He hopes that you can’t feel his emotions since, well, he’s got a lot bottled up, and he’d rather that not be unbottled yet.

Papyrus: Papyrus understands! For he is the same! Emotions are a hard thing to understand and read, so he enjoys the fact that you can feel other people’s, as he cannot! The fact that you can do something the great Papyrus cannot, shocks him! You truly are the most amazing datemate that somebody could have! He always goes out of his way to check up on you to make sure that you’re fine and happy, since he doesn’t want you stressed out or anything :(

Blueberry: It... makes him nervous. He wants you to be able to say no if you want to; he doesn’t want you to cry because you found a hurt animal; and he doesn’t want you to feel nervous because other people feel nervous around you! He has a lot of emotions that he’s got to hide, and he isn’t sure if you could feel them or not, and if you can, then what is he supposed to do? He can’t suddenly start talking about his issues! People would ask way too many questions, and he doesn’t want that. 

Stretch: TBH, he thinks that it’s pretty cute. He likes how you always seem to pout whenever people are sad on TV and how you can feel the emotions of people around you. It makes him feel pretty warm, in a strange way. Course he would take care of you and help you if you ever get too upset. He’ll also tell people no if he sees you struggling with saying it. He’s shy and nervous, but that doesn’t mean he will let you be forced to do stuff.

Red: Thinks it’s nice and bad at the same time. Feeling if people around you are nervous is a good power, cause you can use that against them, but you never do! You’re always so sweet, and he thinks it’s nice... but he hates how you struggle to say no because people and monsters will abuse that and use it against you. 

Edge: It confuses him and he doesn’t like it >:( He has many questions and asks a lot of them at a time. How could you say you don’t like saying no? Also, he understands feeling sad when an animal dies or is hurt, but breaking down? Y/n! Crying is a sign of weakness; you can’t do that around other monsters; they would use that against you!

Strength vs Weaknesses

Sans: He's a good leader who prioritizes his crew above all else. He's loyal and stays level-headed in most situations. He always has a plan and is good at adapting to situations. He’s humble and never under estimates an opponent leading him to make the best possible choices. 

Although... he's not morally the best person. He's selfish, and he's aware of this fact, and honestly, he could care less about strangers. Papyrus has become his moral compass. He also refuses to lean on others and receive help. MANS WILL NEVA TALK ABOUT HIS FEELINGS-

Papyrus: Papyrus is extremely charismatic and gets along with almost everyone! He will always help those in need and do his best to see the light in even the worst people. He is very mature and is accepting of life and what hurdles it throws at him. Also, mans got ultimate rizz. You and yo mama gonna like this man. 

He's too trusting for his own good and has very little self-preservation. He has low self-esteem, although he hides it quite well under a layer of confidence. He also takes actions that he thinks will be best for people even if others may think otherwise, sometimes leading to his own downfall. (Cough cough, og genocide run, cough cough)

Blue: Is great at using his head in pressuring situations and makes the most creative choices. He's energetic and always is up and at em, from early morning to late in the afternoon. He's also preservers and goes up and beyond, you will never see this man give up for what he believes in and cares for. 

But he can also be quite persistent unless you set solid boundaries. He's a little bad at picking up hints and cues and can't read the room for shit. He can be impulsive at times that may lead to future problems...

Stretch: Stretch is always ready to relax and bring down the energy. He's multi-talented and passionate about many things! He is willing to protect people he cherishes with his life, and is loyal to the tea. It makes him great company and an amazing friend.

That is, if you become his friend. Stretch isn't an open person and won't talk to just anyone. He keeps a lot of his feelings bottled up and just blows up at some point. He thinks the worst of people automatically, and has a hard time trusting. If you do something 

Red: Strong and reliable; good old Red will never lead you astray! He's rather smart (being the mechanic of the crew), and that makes him a bit cunning as well. He's very in tune with his emotions and doesn't rage as much as people assume he did.

Although Red is good at keeping his emotions in check, he's a bit of an unfiltered asshole. He will say everything that's on his mind and causes a bit of trouble for the crew sometimes. On top of that, he has a huge ego. It's definitely not a complex, but his confidence is unwelcomed by strangers. Also, flirts kinda raunchy so most ladies are not into him. Man got no rizz.

Edge: Edge is responsible and will make sure the ship is running smoothly. Well, as smoothly as he can with such a chaotic bunch. He's kind of the face of negotiations, being able to be stern yet civil. He has many skills and is very mature about many situations making him an amazing team player. He’s kind to those who need it and is always seeking a fair and moral judgement. 

Emotionally constipated. He literally has not cried since he was 10, what do you expect him to do? If you ask him for mental support, he will SUCK ASS. He is also incredibly stubborn. If he thinks it is better to do something a certain way, we are doing it that certain way. No buts and whys. 

Razz: Razz is the best at what he does. He’s efficient, quick, and works tirelessly at his one true passion: navigation. Although he’s rough around the edges, he is honestly very emotionally understanding. He’s a great person to vent to and cry to when you need to just unwind and let go. He has a very good moral compass and you can count on him to do the right thing. 

Ego so big it got two different time zones. Razz is one of the best navigators in the world and he knows it. He likes flaunting it, and not in a “slay girl” way, in a “pls shut the fuck up” way. Since he works so hard, he forgets to eat a lot of times. He also forgets to sleep, shower, stretch, relax, talk to people. Overall, he will store himself in his room for who knows how long, and you will have to drag him out kicking and screaming. 

Cash: It’s hard to compliment someone who steals 24/7 but he has some perks! Cash is very observant and can make very astute observations when it comes to relationships and fights. He can pinpoint enemy week points in a flash along with being able to grab intel from towns folks. He’s a hella good actor (liar) and can put on almost any façade for any situation.

Where do we start. He steals constantly, of course, he doesn't steal from the poor and needy, of course. But If someone is walking just a bit too happy, he just has an itch, and then BAM. Gone. He’s also a pathological liar, and always gets caught by Sans. He feels remorse and regret for things he does wrong but often shoves it down in order to keep moving. His habits are not healthy, and he knows more than anyone. 

Bear: Bear seems mellow and stupid at times but I can assure you, he’s pretty god damn smart. Bear knows a little of everything, and can probably run the ship by himself in emergency situations. Bear is very sensitive to people’s needs and will make sure any friend and ally gets a good meal. Although he is quiet most of the time he will say encouraging words once in a while. 

My baby has no flaws... Jk. Bear is a lot like sans in a way that he does not care for strangers. If you are a innocent civilian, he isn’t to keen on saving you or looking out for your safety. He doesn’t have to, so why should he, kinda thing. He is super afraid of his strength and is crippled with fear at the idea of accidently breaking something... or someone. He is bad at making friends or talking to new people. He’s an awkward lad.

Cinnamon: Wholesome sweet boy. He's kind, a trait that was hard to keep due to his traumatic childhood. He's giving, even if it may be through self-sacrifice, and always puts others before himself. (Of course with moderation). He's goofy and sweet, making him an amazing friend and partner. Mans is respectful as a mtfk and will make sure that everyone feels validated. Honestly, Cinnamon is a very nice balance of all his cousins.

He's kind of dum socially? He is unaware when someone sends him subtle hints and cues. And since he can't really read body language (cause aura doesn't show that much) he can't really tell if people like or dislike him. He's very insecure about his teeth and fails to hide his discomfort when someone mentions it.

For the fiction Gremlins how would the boys be like with a sick MC? Maybe they got the flu or broken their leg? Would any of them take advantage of the situation, especially if MC is dazed and out of it?

Your gremlin boys will surprise you on this one. The emotional mental roller coaster ride this has been for everyone. Reader hasn't actually been hurt or really bad sick. Nothing like the fact that you being actually badly hurt/very sick to sober their attitudes. Not to say they wouldn't think about trying something if the pain/sickness has reader a little delusional.

Blue is first and foremost at the helm. He's head bitty and he's making sure everyone has a place to help with your care. They are bittys so taking care of you can be a bit daunting. Thankfully Reader's love for them has them strong enough to weather this and make sure Reader gets back in tip top shape. Blue will actually be aided by Black and if Blue is helping elsewhere Black is second in command and will detail the others on what is needed.

Black is concerned to the point petty rivalry is not going to help matters. Reader actually hurt to the point that the pain/painkillers or sickness has their brain in a fog... he might try to be a sneaky sneak on somethings if he is still his original baby blue self. However a transformed Black knows he couldn't pull off pretending to be Blue to get some affection. Blue is never too far as well and if he's being honest with himself... he is very concerned for Reader's wellbeing to even actually try. (Though the thought was definitely there) The sobering fact that he could've/could lose you permanately is a harsher reality that he seems to forget... a lot.

Blue can actually see the concern and genuine willingness to be of help rather than a hinderance in all the gremlin boys. Blue is able to sort what is needed and execute things flawlessly thanks to Black's very stern cooperation to get the others in line.

Blue is handling bedside care with Edge's assistance. Edge is a tall bitty and he's even taller if he's transformed. He's able to assist with Medication, feeding, and is one of two bittys that is actually strong enough to heft reader physically if need be... it's just a little awkward to do so with him being still so small compared to them but he will do it in an instant. Magic wise Sans and Red are at the forefront making sure that if in fact Edge needs to move Reader they can assist making it easier. Their magic isn't strong enough to fully lift you but Red is closer to getting that strong. If Red has transformed then he if fully capable of lifting Reader with his magic but it's not precise and Sans uses his magic to assist him. They are on call for emergencies but they are either helping Papyrus move things in the kitchen for Reader's meals or helping keeping things tidy and organized in the mean time should it be needed.

Stretch and Russ are managing Reader's finances and medical appointments. They are surprisingly good and thorough at it despite their more lazy natures. They are Sans and Red's magic backup should they exhaust themselves so they are busying themselves in Reader's paperwork and notifying the proper people so that they can rest without worry. Russ having transformed is far more cutthroat on all bills that come your way. He's not only haggling but he's also finding how to get detailed itemized lists to annoy people to lift certain charges. He's very persuasive. Stretch just sits there and thanks the stars that for once the animosity isn't directed at him. Russ can be absolutely evil on some of those calls. The fanged grin only proves how much he enjoys it as well.

Papyrus is researching the best meals to help speedy recovery and depending on how reader is doing he gets Edge's perspective on some dishes. Sans and Red help him with moving the pots and pans. Papyrus is surprisingly unconcerned with anyone trying to be underhanded... he's usually suspicious but hides it well.

Everyone gets to see Reader and give them some affection which is why this is working out so well. Black has everything scheduled to Blue's requests and he follows them flawlessly.

When Reader is finally out of it there might be an awkwardness between the originals and their gremlins as the petty has always been there... just put away for something more important. The one bitty that can put a stop to all that petty is Black. If he truly believes that this was his eye opening experience on losing Reader then he will correct any and all pettyness at the door. If this wasn't his wake up call then rest assured that it will take some time before he goes back to his original selfish mentality. He's gauging how you are holding up because some days are better than others.

They are all still perverts though... yes even Edge and Papyrus. Reader broke a bone? You better believe that Russ found those x-rays and now everyone knows what some of, if not all, reader's bones look like. Being out of it there are definitely some instances they got to see reader nude more than once... and they are very okay with that. They won't act on anything though. Reader's health is their primary objective.

This is surprisingly wholesome for the gremlin boys but yeah. Reader being really bad off will trigger them to be better in that situation. They do care... they just be mean and petty. Black might try to get away with some extra affection posing as Blue if he hasn't transformed but he is also deeply concerned. Nothing like being smacked with the cruel fact of not only ones mortality but someone elses that you care for deeply.

The only unfortunate, other than poor reader, is Hank. Black has his number and will hound him at any given time of day if it means he can get Reader anything they request

“Yes, Serif,” Chara assured. “As far as we can tell, the reset power is gone.”

It’s over.

The nightmare is really over.

Right?

“You better not be lying or pulling my leg with this shit,” I growled, sockets dark. “This is not a subject to joke about.”

“Of course not,” Chara said, holding up her hands, looking mortified at the thought.

“Dude, I may lack empathy, but even I know that’s too far,” Frisk waved the notion away. “Ya don’t mess with serious trauma like that.”

I stared them both down, trying to detect any hint of deception.

I didn’t find any.

The resets really are done then. Unless…

“You will tell me if that ever changes, right? If it somehow comes back?”

“You’ll be the first to know,” Chara replied.

My wings were flared slightly as I dialed up my emotion feeling to the max, scrutinizing them both. Frisk was just mildly flippant about the whole situation, with a slight undercurrent of defensiveness; how dare I accuse him of such things when he’s been working so hard to be better. Meanwhile Chara was being as open and forward as possible, pretty obviously vying for my favor. Normally, this would bug the heck out of me but for now I was grateful for it; she’d likely be willing to reveal or agree to just about anything if it meant getting (and staying) on my good side, for better or worse. Let’s just hope she keeps her word. And keeps Frisk in line.

“Ok. Who else knows about you two?” I changed the subject. I don’t wanna out Papyrus if they don’t know he knows, cuz if his reaction last night is anything to go by, he definitely knows something.

“There’s me an’ Chara, of course,” Frisk began counting on his fingers. “And now you. Flowey used to have the reset power until I fell down. He mostly remembers but it’s kinda hard to tell how much since he’s kinda… loopy. After his own resets.”

“We’re also unsure how much of his supposed insanity is an act,” Chara continued. “Sometimes, he is able to speak with perfect clarity while at others he barely seems to know his own name.”

“Flowey had control of my resets too, until the kid fell,” I nodded. “He was a manipulative little shit but I wouldn’t call him “loopy” or anything. A topic for another time though. Anyone else? Does Sans know he’s got two kids for the price of one?”

“We did tell him during a few resets,” Chara looked away, uncomfortable. “And he seemed fine with the idea until he discovered it was me. Sans and Asriel were very close before my death, I even called him “Uncle Sans” after Asriel adopted me, and losing both of us in such quick succession seems to have traumatized him greatly.”

“To his credit, he really tried to be ok with it,” Frisk also looked away. “But he was stuck somewhere between wanting to hold her a little too close and wanting to push her away. So, we’ve decided not to tell him, at least not yet.”

“Right, I’ll help cover for you when I can then,” I nodded. “But hopefully we can ease him into the idea so you won’t have to hide from him forever.”

“That would be nice…” Chara trailed off with a yearning smile.

“So, anyone else?” I continued. “I had to mention the resets last night, while being interrogated by Doc Tori and Mettaton- I mean, Mettané, but I only talked about the Flowey controlled resets. I wanted to talk to you first before accidentally outing you.”

Both kids froze, glancing at each other. Suspicious.

“A-and you were at Papyrus and Alphys’ house,” Chara said, though it was more like a question. I nodded.

“Guess you already know that Papyrus knows then, huh,” Frisk said the quiet part out loud. I nodded and Chara sighed.

“Well, there’s no point hiding it if you already know,” she seemed uncomfortable while Frisk looked wholly unbothered. “But we didn’t want to reveal his involvement without his consent so, aside from confirming he does have some recollection of resets, we’ll leave it up to him to share his experience with you when he’s ready.”

“Fair enough,” I said. “I didn’t wanna out him either if you didn’t know he knew, just like my human didn’t know. We’ll be seeing him later today anyways, though, right?” I continued, hoping to lighten the mood a bit. “If we can get Alphys out of the house-”

“Why do you think I suggested going over there for lunch?” Chara said with a cheshire grin, aparently very proud of herself. “We haven’t really had a chance to talk with him since the barrier broke and he was pivotal in Frisk’s reformation.”

“But you didn’t know I knew about resets yet.”

“We just would’ve ditched you and Alphys at some point but now we only need to get Alphys out of the way,” Frisk shrugged. “And if Pap knows that you know, he’ll probably preemptively get rid of her before we even get there.”

“He’ll probably ask her to watch his sentry post while he makes us lunch,” Chara nodded, though she seemed annoyed about something, then shook her head, apparently dismissing it. She smiled. “Alphys’ idea of “making lunch” is warming up a Cup of Noodles for us, which Papyrus always complains about.”

Frisk snickered.

“Heh, guess some things transcend time and space,” I chuckled, thinking of my own Alphys.

Which reminds me.

“By the way, if you’re up for it,” I offered. “One thing you could help me with is renaming everyone from my original universe, or at least everyone important. It would make it easier to call them by a name instead of saying “my Alphys” and “your Alphys” and would be easier to talk about things without being too obvious to those who don’t know that I’m from another universe entirely.”

“You could just be from a small community in the Deep,” Chara nodded. “That would work as a cover story.”

“Good thinking,” I praised. Chara smiled and I could feel her trying to downplay her delight. “Speaking of cover stories though,” now it was my turn to be uncomfortable. “I’d rather not let on that I absorbed a piece of a human soul; it sounds like that won’t go over so well around here.”

“Yeah, I can imagine,” Frisk smirked.

“And absorbing the soul piece has changed my magic somewhat,” I ruffled my wings; it was hard letting myself be vulnerable. “I wouldn’t mind having some help getting used to my new abilities, if you two wouldn’t mind helping me.”

“All things considered, I don’t think Papyrus would hold it against you either,” Chara mused. “So he might be able to help as well.”

“And I’m sure some of our other friends wouldn’t mind training with you, even if they don’t know about the soul piece,” Frisk concluded. “Besides, some messed up stuff happened in the Labs,” he shrugged. "Absorbing a piece of a human’s soul probably isn’t the worst thing any of them have heard of."

“Somehow, that doesn’t make me feel better.”

“How much time do we have before lunch anyways?” Frisk muttered to himself, taking out his phone. “We’ve got, like, a half hour until we gotta call Sans so we should probably start heading over to Pap’s. We can take the scenic route since we’ve got time.”

“You should get changed out of your pajamas first though,” Chara reminded.

“Oh yeah, thanks Chara. That would’ve been embarrassing.”

“You can borrow some of our clothes, Serif,” Chara offered. “You look about the same size as Frisk.”

I looked down at my outfit. I’d slept in my jacket and my white shirt was rumpled and creased but it wasn’t that dirty. I didn’t smell too bad either.

“Nah, I can wait til I get my own,” I declined, starting to get off the couch and slide into my slippers, when something struck me as very, very wrong. Like putting my shoes on the wrong feet but way more intense. And I definitely had them on the right feet.

“Serif?”

I sat there, frozen, for longer than I care to admit.

“Serif!”

I gasped, yanking my feet out of the slippers as if they tried to bite me. I shook my head, that was weirdly intense. Maybe save looking into that for some time when I’m alone though. For now…

“Eheh, could I uh, maybe borrow some shoes?”

VS Papyrus

Papyrus stood before Frisk, blocking their path to Waterfall as he explained to them his duties as a Royal Guard, including that of capturing any Humans to cross his path. He had greatly appreciated their kindness and willingness to participate in his puzzles, but he knew his duties and he knew he couldn't afford to ignore them any longer. He stepped forth, the battle about to commence.

"Wait!!" a familiar loud voice rang out, stopping the battle before it could even begin. Ingo ran in between the two of them, spreading his arms out to protect Frisk from any attack.

"INGO?" Papyrus asked, surprised. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? YOU SHOULDN'T GET INVOLVED, THIS IS BETWEEN ME AND THE HUMAN."

"I cannot let you fight this child," Ingo said firmly, his determined stare fixated on Papyrus. Papyrus winced.

"... IT IS NOT A DUTY I WISH TO PERFORM, INGO," he said gravely, "BUT IT IS ONE I CANNOT IGNORE FOR ANY LONGER."

"Then you will battle me instead!" Ingo yelled with the certainty of a conductor, though with the pain of having to fight his own friend.

"IT IS A HUMAN I MUST CAPTURE," Papyrus clarified, his sorrowful gaze fixated on his dearest friend.

"I know," Ingo said, a pain in his voice and expression as he looked slightly down to break from Papyrus's gaze. "... I have been lying to you, my friend. Engage in battle with me and you shall see clearly, my soul is that of a Human's."

Papyrus stared firmly at Ingo, trying his best to keep his expression from changing. Ingo's green soul appeared in front of his chest as a bone was suddenly flung in his direction. He just barely dodged it, and checked behind him to see if Frisk was out of range. Thankfully, they were. He looked back to Papyrus just in time to avoid another attack. The battle had begun, and his dear friend was not holding back.

Move after move, attack after attack, each and every trick Papyrus threw at Ingo he was only just barely dodging. However, after an attack finally hit, he was getting hit more and more frequently. Finally, he was down to 1HP. Frisk was frantically trying to butt in to protect him, but using the magic Ingo knew, he managed to keep them out of it. Ingo knelt on the ground, appearing so fragile that a gentle gust of wind could knock him over as Papyrus stood over him, holding a long bone up and pointing it like a sword. Ingo looked up at Papyrus, hurt but forgiving. Papyrus raised the bone, ready to swing. Ingo lowered his head, preparing himself for what would come next.

The bone clattered on the ground next to him, and his soul disappeared back into his chest as the battle ended. Surprised, Ingo looked up at Papyrus, seeing a gloved hand reaching down to help him up. Confused but thankful, he took the offer and stood up with Papyrus's help.

"... I KNOW YOU ARE HUMAN," Papyrus said, offering his arm to help Ingo balance as he summoned a ball of healing magic in his free hand. "I HAVE KNOWN THE ENTIRE TIME."

"What?" Ingo asked, surprised. "But how-... why-...?"

"YOU'RE REALLY BAD AT HIDING IT," Papyrus said lightheartedly, healing Ingo. "I'M HONESTLY SURPRISED SO MANY MONSTERS ARE STILL FOOLED. AS FOR WHY..." He lowered his hands, allowing Ingo to stand on his own. "... I'M NOT GOOD AT MAKING FRIENDS. IN FACT, FOR A WHILE, YOU WERE THE ONLY REAL FRIEND I HAD OTHER THAN SANS. SO I PLAYED ALONG. I PRETENDED LIKE I DIDN'T KNOW, BECAUSE YOU WERE SUCH A WONDERFUL FRIEND. NO ONE OTHER THAN SANS HAS EVER SHOWED ME AS MUCH KINDNESS AS YOU HAVE, AND IF BEING HUMAN IS WHAT MAKES YOU 'EVIL'... PERHAPS YOU AREN'T HUMAN AT ALL."

Papyrus looked Ingo kindly in the eyes, only to very suddenly notice just how much Ingo was tearing up with emotion. His eyes were watery, his lip was trembling, and he was even sniffling a little.

"BRAVO!! EXCELLENT SPEECH!!" he suddenly burst out, applauding Papyrus as tears poured down his face as his sudden volume surprised even the permanently-loud skeleton. "PERHAPS IT IS YOU THAT IS FAR TOO KIND!! YOU ARE THE GREATEST FRIEND ANYONE COULD POSSIBLY WISH FOR!! BRAVO!!!"

"I HAVEN'T EVEN EXPLAINED WHY I HAD TO FIGHT YOU YET," Papyrus said, trying to calm down his now sobbing friend. Ingo very suddenly hugged him tightly, his face partially buried in his chest.

"You may if you wish, but I feel there is no need!" Ingo cried, his voice quieted by the muffling. "Whatever your reason, I am certain it is good!"

"INGO," Papyrus said, carefully pulling Ingo away from him and wiping his tears away. "I HAD TO BATTLE YOU, BECAUSE IT IS MY DUTY. I WILL PENALIZED FOR LETTING YOU GET AWAY, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I WOULD BE HAD I MERELY LET YOU PASS WITHOUT A FIGHT. HOWEVER, BEFORE I LET YOU GO, I MUST OFFER YOU A BIT OF ADVICE SO TO ALLOW YOU TO SURVIVE AGAINST THOSE THAT WILL NOT GO EASY AGAINST YOU." He held Ingo's shoulders, looking him deeply in the eyes with a look of total seriousness.

"DO NOT HOLD BACK. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN THIS, I HAVE SEEN YOU BEFORE. YOU CAN HOLD YOUR OWN, BUT YOU ALLOWED YOUR BOND WITH ME TO HOLD YOU BACK. I DON'T KNOW FOR CERTAIN, BUT I HAVE THE FEELING YOU WILL SOON FACE SOMEONE YOU WOULD NEVER WANT TO HURT THAT WILL ABSOLUTELY TRY TO HURT YOU. I NEED YOU TO PROMISE ME YOU WILL NOT HOLD BACK WHEN THE TIME COMES."

"... I promise," Ingo finally said, nodding.

"YOU ARE MY DEAREST FRIEND," Papyrus said, his voice much gentler. "I DO WISH THE BEST FOR YOU, AND FOR THE YOUNG HUMAN YOU PROTECT. I CARE ABOUT THE BOTH OF YOU." He let go of Ingo, moving past him and kneeling down in front of Frisk. "I DO HOPE TO ONE DAY LEARN MORE ABOUT YOU SO THAT WE MAY BECOME CLOSER FRIENDS, YOUNG HUMAN." Frisk smiled, quickly wiping away a tear from their eye and nodding.

«I hope we can be friends soon, Papyrus.» they signed, looking at Papyrus with a fondness as if they had known him for years. «You are the coolest dude ever, after all.»

"NYEH HEH HEH, WHAT A CHARMER YOU ARE!" Papyrus laughed, absolutely delighted. "WHY, WITH THE BOTH OF YOU TOGETHER, I'M CERTAIN THAT MOST MONSTERS WILL JUST LIKE YOU SO MUCH, THEY WON'T EVEN WANT TO FIGHT YOU!"

Before they set off, Frisk gave Papyrus a tight hug. They seemed to not want to let go, as if it might be the last time they'd see him. Even though Ingo already had Papyrus's number (and despite Frisk being mute), Frisk made sure to exchange phone numbers with Papyrus. Ingo couldn't get the answer why, but as they left, Frisk clung tightly to his coat as they tried desperately not to cry. In the absence of an explanation, Ingo merely did his best to comfort them.

They stepped out of Snowdin, and into Waterfall.

Yeah, we're not a lot of French people in the fandom, but we're very persistent!

Undertale Sans - He never had someone literally sobbing at his puns before so he was a bit surprised at first. Now he's just used to it. He's carrying tissues with him all the time in case there's an emergency. He still can't get over the fact one single pun can kill you though. It's both sad and hilarious, he could never stop bothering you.

Undertale Papyrus - He learned to discern the happy sobs from the sad sobs now. He showed you his notebooks with an exact study of how he differentiates them and he's very proud of it. You think it's so awkward but Papyrus just pats you on the shoulder and tells you that's alright because you can't hide anything from him anyway. He smiles, then leaves. Uh. Well, that was scary.

Underswap Sans - He's probably not the best match. Blue is not that good with people crying. He tends to hide his feelings a lot, and that's because he has a cold head he's a wonderful police officer. He's very awkward when you randomly start to cry and it's stressing him out because he's never sure if he said something wrong or not.

Underswap Papyrus - Welp. The thing with Honey is that he is super super empathetic. This means that whenever you cry, he cries as well lol. It leads to super awkward moments when you try to stop crying but Honey cries so you cry again, and then Honey cries again and it's a never-ending circle. You can't help it.

Underfell Sans - The poor guy already struggles to understand human emotions in the first place, but now he is just so confused. Crying is for sad, but now crying is for literally all the other feelings? How the hell is he supposed to make a difference? Can't you just stick a post-it on your head stating your current mood and if he messed up or not? He can't tell, it's driving him crazy!

Underfell Papyrus - The military school taught him that crying means you're really hurt and on the verge of dying. Now everytime you cries, he comes running in a hurry, completely panicking, and gets so confused when you're actually crying but laughing at the same time??? Are you mocking him? Are you broken? Why can't you use the crying thing like in his books? Humans are so complicated for no reason, it's so frustrating! When you said the book might be lying to him, he's flabbergasted.

Horrortale Sans - He doesn't care what you're crying for. He quickly understood that you crying means he gets free cuddles. You kinda accidentally trained him to come running to you for """comfort""" whenever you're crying. He loves it when you're crying. Please cry more and pet him.

Horrortale Papyrus - He's exactly like you. It's like looking into a mirror. He thinks it's so awkward when you both start crying at the same time. He tries to stop, but he really can't help it. That's problematic when there are people around who are trying to help you two but you're actually dying of laughter. People are so confused.

Swapfell Sans - He's Mr. Poker Face, and he became an expert in reading you so he can translate your feelings to the people around you when you can't talk anymore. He makes it so awkward though, saying to random people you're crying because you saw a cute kitten and can't get over it and that he is in fact not mistreating you. At least he tries to help.

Swapfell Papyrus - Sorry he can't read your feelings right and thinks everything is a joke, even when you're mad at him. He's so confused when you starts to scream at him because actually it's not funny. Usually, he makes himself very little for a few hours after that. Sorry, no one taught him to read the signs, he kinda does his best.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He rolls his eyes at you every time you start to cry lol. Yeah, he still thinks crying is for weak people and he can't really understand why you're so emotive. It's even worse when you're crying affects Coffee and then he has two people he needs to awkwardly comfort by patting their head. Please, stop.

Characters’ Mental Problems

I said ya that characters from Undermourning have their problems. Here I’ll tell ya something about problems of main charakters and I’ll begin from my favorite - UNDYNE!1!1!1!111!1!11!!!!1!1!!!

Well, Undyne never admitted it, but as queen she feels kinda like Asgore felt. Maybe not exacly like him, becuase she at least didn't lose two children one night, and her wife didn't leave her, but as I said - as queen she feels like Asgore. Maybe she doesn’t feel that much guilty as he with intention of killing humans, but still she actually likes Sofia and Natalie and she doesn’t really want to kill them. But like Asgore, she feels responsibility for her people and she wants to free them. Cost doesn’t have matter. 

Now, about my second favorite character - Toriel! So, former queen’s mental problems started after few months since she took care after Sofia and Natalie. It made her remeber things, when Asriel and Chara were alive. Maybe Sofia and Natalie aren’t like Chara and Asriel, but still.  For example - Natalie and Asriel’s emotionality. Or Sofia and Chara’s unpredictability. Or vice versa:  Natalie and Chara’s love to reading. Or Sofia and Asriel’s care for other persons. Toriel often has moments when she wears black clothes or listen sad music. And also very often looking through the family album. And even as people with deppresion often do she doesn’t really care about herself. For example Toriel rarely brush her fur, and that’s why it is such a mess. She just miss her children, Asriel and Chara.

About Flowey... well, he doesn’t have any emotional problems, becuase he is empty inside and he can’t feels anything, but this is his problem. He just wants to feel again. Flowey always wanted to feel again. First, he tried to feel something good. He was kind and helpful. But later, when he failed in positive emotions he wanted to try feel something negative. And that’s why he became the flower that we know from game. But Sofia once said to him that if will feel anything in future, it’s better so it won’t be gulit or hatred to himself. When he spent more time with twins, he changed. He stated that Sofia was right and he became kind and helpful again... well, not as much, but he tries. He even tries to befriend with sisters, but he can neither hate nor love. That’s why even if he tries to act like Sofia and Natalie and not even only them are his friends, they aren’t. His emotional problem is he has no emotions. It’s his problem not only in Undermourning, but in Undertale either.

Now Chara! Well, I’ll say only about present so - god complex. He just feels hurted by Asriel, and later he realize that rest of monsters aren’t saint either. So he decided to punish them all. Yes, he know that he isn’t saint either, but he stated that he is better than them. So he even should punish them for their crimes. And “having control” over this world he feels like a god. In his Error Ending he realize he was wrong. But default, he just torturing them for their sins.

About Papyrus and Sans, well... they have their problems too, but they’re hiding it. Not only by their smile which they can’t change, but by their behavior too. About Papyrus, when Undyne said him about her plan, being friend with everyone became harder. He tried to convince Undyne she doesn’t have to do it, but she never listens to him, when he’s talking about it. He just doesn’t know what to do. His loyalty tells him to stay by his friend and queen’s side. But his morals tells him to warn the twins. Being friend with everyone was so easy for him in past, but now he has to make hard choice. The Great Papyrus has real problem now. About Sans, well... he’s actually fine. Well, broken inside, but never shows it. Just life go on and he can’t and even doesn’t want to keep up with it. He is just lazy skeleton which cares only about his brother, Toriel and promise he made for her. Nothing more.

And second pair of siblings - Natalie and Sofia. And it’s last characters about I’ll tell about. So, Natalie... well her problem is her weight. At first it looks like physical problem, but it’s not like this at all. She just has no appetite when she thinks about her dead family members, parents and little sister. Problem is, she thinks about it all the time. And that is why she doesn’t want to eat and that is why she is so skinny. About Sofia... she just feels guilty. Climbing on the Mount Ebott was her idea. While climbing on Ebott Bianca (twins’ younger sister) died, so this is her fault. She also couldn’t save Asgore and that’s why monsters are not only imprisoned in the Underground, but also deppressed. In mouring. However, she tries to redeem herself. That’s why she started with program “Smile”. That’s program about I already told ya about, but I’ve never told you how it’s calls. Ya know, renovation, viewpoint, more plants and all. She and Natalie (becuase Sof leads this program with Nat) even tries to convince owner of some public places like Snowed Inn or Grillby’s to make their places looks more colorful and happy. They don’t have to, but most of them do this, becuase Undyne approves this program. Leading this program makes her feel better.

I’ve been thinking about ways to differentiate my outer boys from their standard counterparts since…there canonically aren’t really any differences personality wise?

Of course this largely involves changing the worlds a bit, since that has the greatest impact on a Papyrus’s characterization.

And I think I’ve decided on a few things for them

Pictoris

Little bit of a neat freak. Cares a little more about his appearance (as far as seeming clean and neat comes across, though he isn’t exactly a stickler about it).

Floats/flies/uses gravity manip more often than Rus as it’s seen as more normal given. Space.

Tries (and mostly fails) to come across as more regal, more knightly than Rus. His priorities with getting into the guard are a little more focused on playing the part of a royal guard more, a little less on just using it for popularity (or so he says)

Loves the dogs truly but their fur gets *all* over his clothes and it kills him a little bit inside

Likes sweets a little less, a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit better at cooking

Still as sassy but sometimes does slip and comes across a little mean, usually reels it back quick but doesn’t apologize so much as changes the subject and tries to be more positive/nice

Overall, like Rus but if he was a little more uptight? Still very friendly and goofy though!!

Antares

A little more outwardly aggressive, bad attitude type, but conversely, quicker to lighten up and emote than Edge. Quicker to fluster, quicker to lose his temperature, but he maintains Edge’s hard-to-actually-make-mad quality.

One could say he’s kind of naive, takes things even more at face value than Edge (Boötes is the only one allowed to take advantage of this, otherwise you’re getting yourself in his black book if you mess with and genuinely embarrass Antares)

Less resigned, more uneasy, errs more on the paranoid side than Edge.

Values the quiet a lot. Doesn’t have as difficult a time with derealization as Edge.

Loves animals, loves them a *lot, loves learning about any living creature, even fictional!

Reads more too, a big fan of fantasy and adventure books (with a guilty pleasure of preferring the aforementioned two if they have daring romance in them as well).

Overall sort of if Edge was more emotive/expressive, and a little sillier (just a little).

Aurigae

Brattier and sassier than Stretch, but still a sweetheart all the same. He’d feel really bad if he genuinely hurt someone’s feelings, so he tends to click better with people who have a similar sense of humor.

Conversely also has a harder time with anxiety. Hides it just as well, but generally experiences more panic attacks (in secret) than Stretch.

Way more sensory inclined. Doesn’t like being touched, by anyone in anyway unless he’s very familiar/comfortable with them, and usually has something to fidget/stim with in his pockets (which I plan on adding more to the design, his jacket should have more pockets). Also floats/flies/etc more often, as this is also a good way to avoid unwanted contact.

Vapes instead of smokes but still does it super rarely.

Distraction is important, he works better if he has music or something else making sound, even if very quietly, nearby. Otherwise he’s probably sleeping because the quiet agitates his nerves.

A little more intense than Stretch, but comes across more social confident, would still prefer hanging out at home or with a couple of close friends.

Their personalities are still works in progress, so they may change over time as I figure them/their AUs out better, but I feel like this is a good starting point!

Papyton is the best couple because Mettaton likes to beat his emotions with a heavy club and keep them locked up in the attic of his brain like some sickly child he's ashamed of the neighbours knowing about.

And then there's Papyrus who wears his heart so carelessly on his sleeve that you can compliment him once and he's immediately sobbing on the floor telling you he's never going to recover.

Hopefully together they'd find some sort of healthy middle ground.

Special abilities of your boys?

Sans/Oak: they can shortcut objects to themselves without having to directly go to the object. Kinda like summoning things. They have to remember and be able to visualize exactly where the object is for it to work. So oak doesn’t do this very often.

Oak: he has an additional ability where he has an aura that is calming to animals. They naturally are more affectionate and relaxed around him.

Papyrus/Willow: they are especially sensitive to spirits and cursed magic. This is why willow knows so much about removing curses and why papyrus was able to sense and help pull chara away from frisk.

Star/lilac: they don’t get dizzy. No matter what position they’re in, they can always find their footing.

Honey/Basil: they have an innate ability to understand the meaning behind written languages, even if they don’t speak it. Neither realizes this is a magical ability and just thinks he’s good with languages

Red/Rust: they have an aura that is calming to small children. It makes the child more relaxed and affectionate. Rust knows and definitely takes advantage of this. Red knows he has this ability, but thinks it makes him look soft so he hides it.

Edge/Noir: they have an incredibly accurate sense of smell. They can pick apart one scent into all the separate ingredients that made it. They also never forget a scent which makes them amazing trackers.

Cash: he can manipulate the size and shape of his “vocal cords” (organ ecto that produces sound) in order to mimic any sound around him. It takes practice, and he’s a little limited by volume, but he can recreate almost anything. Trains, birds, other people, even robot noises, he’s got it.

Mal: he has incredibly strong fingers. He could flick a rock so hard it would stick to a brick wall lol. Mal can also crush nuts easily with just two fingers, and even bend some metals if he puts in effort

Charm: his magic will taste like whatever he ate in the last hour. Charm is the only guy you could kiss and would taste like how he smells, chocolate, as long as he had some recently of course.

Sugar: he has a way of sliding on surfaces. Like if he rolls down a hill, he will slip down it like it’s a slip and slide instead of a rocky surface. It doesn’t prevent him from crashing into things but it does help keep most of his injuries to bruises at least. He doesn’t have full control over it making him extremely clumsy

Lord: when he touches people, he briefly feels their emotions like an empath. This is the main reason touch is so scary for him, plus some bad experiences when he was underground. He can’t turn this ability off

Mutt: he’s got a sort of fifth sense for danger. Mutt can predict a surprise attack seconds before it happens. This only works on the first attack though. Once he sees his challenger he’s on his own

Wine: he can “sense” the way a soul stutters when someone lies. This makes wine nearly impossible to lie too. The only way to get past it is lies of omission, where you technically are telling the truth but not what he’s supposed to hear

Coffee: he can conceal his presence enough to be newly invisible. You can’t smell, hear or sense him or his magic. You could still see him though if he’s not careful

Pop: he has a photographic memory! Pop is also one of the special monsters with two abilities. He never gets lost in small spaces. When he’s climbing through tunnels, he always seems to know where the exit is

Rhythm: when he first talks to people, he can sense what they’re greatest passion is. That’s how his dance school is so successful. He interviews each student and can pick out which ones will have a passion for dance and performance

Pluto: he glows in the dark lol. His freckles will glow along with any color on his cheeks. He can’t turn this off and has always been like this.

Jupiter: he can ignore pain. Literally. Like if he deems it important, he will run on a broken leg without so much as a limp. However Jupiter can only do this for a short amount of time and always has a blank poker face when he does.

Admittedly a bit awkward at first and will try to brush you off (because sincerity and being heartfelt isn’t something that comes easily to him)

“even with my ketchup addiction?”, he’ll joke and if you just keep being genuine with him, he’ll quickly melt and allow himself to be vulnerable with you

Gives you some kind of sappy speech about how amazing you are and how he loves you so much and while he doesn’t see why you love him, he’ll do his best to be what you deserve and be better for both of you. He promises to be there for you when he can too, and you know he doesn’t take promises lightly.

Might cry, depending on how far into each other’s insecurities this talk goes and/or how much you insist upon loving him even if he isn’t perfect.

Miraculously won’t include any jokes or puns beyond maybe the first couple of responses to you initial confession

After this, you’re having a LONG cuddle session

Cinnamon (Undertale Papyrus):

Ecstatic. Announces proudly that the same goes for you and then dives into a long-winded talk about every single thing he loves about you.

The things he loves about you include things that bother you, things that not even you were aware of before now, and things you thought he wouldn’t have picked up on. He’s actually very perceptive.

Either this ends up with the two of you having a cute movie-night or some other kind of goofy activity or it ends with crying as you hold each other after confessing to things you regret and/or are insecure over.

Blue (Underswap Sans):

Smiles softly, gently, before he also goes on a ramble about all the things he adores about you. It’s genuine and sweet and wonderful. He won’t leave you, he swears it on his own soul.

He admits to his faults he keeps hidden, how he’s afraid he’s not as good of a person as he likes to pretend to be and how guilty he feels about it.

But you still love him.

He internally doesn’t really understand why, but he accepts it. You’re the most wonderful and fantastic person he’s ever met, why should he question you?

Stretch (Underswap Papyrus):

He’s blushing so much, he doesn’t know what to do or say. Help.

I mean! You too!! Uh!!! Of course he loves you!! He loves you so much!! He just!!! Doesn’t know how to respond, give him a second please!!!!!

After a minute of him stewing silently in his hoodie and blushing like there’s no tomorrow (and you’re pretty sure you can see steam coming from where his ears would be), he finally starts stuttering out an actual response (while still looking like he’s ready to explode any minute).

You’re- you’re so amazing and perfect and by the stars, he loves you more than he ever thought it was possible to love somebody (who isn’t Blue but that’s another type of love and also beside the point) and sometimes he thinks he could just die from how great you make him feel just by being there.

He’ll confess to having some serious anxiety about thinking you’ll leave him any day now once you realise you could do better (which you’ve probably picked up on already, Stretch isn’t the best at hiding things).

Let’s be real, this ends with at the very least him crying and it gets emotional my guy

Red (Underfell Sans):

Melts. Immediately.

He doesn’t know how to reply verbally, he’s not good with words for the most part, so he hugs you tightly and says something vaguely resembling “you too, i love ya so much” but he genuinely doesn’t know how to give you an actual response.

But you said you love him even with his flaws, which means you’re okay with that.

It isn’t much of a verbal conversation here, more just Red cuddling you because he can’t find words to describe what he feels.

But what he feels for you is good, and that much he’ll tell you.

Edge (Underfell Papyrus):

You’ve done it. You’ve broken down his walls and he’s not going to act all tough and brave. He’ll be sincere.

Except for for like half a second. He half-heartedly tries to brush you off at first like “OH. Y-YES, OF… OF COURSE YOU DO!” before faltering and going all mushy on you lol

Goes on a long ramble about how he thinks you’re so amazing and how he loves all these little things you do, like the way your face looks when you’re concentrated or how you act when you feel happy.

It turns into self-deprecating himself for being… not soft and nice, for being so rough around the edges (PUN NOT INTENDED!!!!!!!!!!). He doesn’t like who he used to be, nor does he really like who he is now, but you… you help him become something he doesn’t despise.

Sans- Hahaha... he loves you. No literally, he loves it when you do that. It makes him happy and could even make him giggle a little, if he's in a good mood. The first time you did it, he had no idea what the heck you were doing but your eye lashes tickled his bones then you kept doing it, and he learned it was called Butterfly kisses. How cute~ Sadly, he can't give them back, but he can do magic kisses where he tickles your cheeks with his magic when you're not looking?

Papyrus- Gasp! The first time that his datemate did that to him, he got so flustered and laughed. What are you doing rubbing your hairs against him, human? Later on he finds out that they're called butterfly kisses and he thinks that it is the cutest and sweetest thing in the world! He enjoys kisses for real but these kisses of butterflies are fine! He loves them, matter of fact. He kind of wishes that you would do them every morning but he doesn't want to ask. It's embarrassing.

Blueberry- Whenever his datemate does that to him, he can't help but get so excited! You're so cute whenever you do that butterfly kiss, or whatever it's called. He wants to give them back, but sadly, he can't and he has never been so upset at being a skeleton. Either way, he gets really happy whenever you do that and he'll giggle, and hug onto his datemate and nuzzle their faces together. If he's ever down and sad, then if you do that, he'll perk right on up and lean into it, smiling his normal smile. It might take a little while for him to get as happy, but you showing you love him will help a lot.

Stretch- It gets him flustered. He’ll get this bright orange blush on his cheeks whenever you do it to him, but he’d grin and lean into it anyway, making slight puns to try to hide his embarrassment. He’ll often press kisses all over your face to get back at you for doing those butterfly kisses to him. Silly human.

Red- the first time that his datemate did it to him, he got so flustered and snapped at you to stop being weird! He didn't mean to snap or anything, it was just embarrassing! After that, you kept doing it and he kept reacting in the same way because he didn't know how to deal with the emotions. It was embarrassing but... he also kinda liked it? So after a while, he stopped snapping and just leaned into the touches and kisses, mumbling under his breath that you were a weirdo. At least you're happy? Plus he gets attention. Soon enough he gets so used to it that if he doesn't get one a day, he's going to complain until you give him his god damn kisses.

Edge- You’ll have to explain to him what it is before you can get that close to his face. He doesn’t often sit down and he’s most likely too tall for you to do it against his cheek but when you explain or ask him to lean down, and he does, he’ll think it’s... cute. It’s embarrassing though! He doesn’t understand exactly why you would want to do that? Yet if you want to show your love for him, he understands! Many people love him. 

Lord- He'll stare at you like you're a weirdo the first time you do it, but mostly just because he wasn't expecting you to get that close to his face. He asks you what that was, and when you tell him, he gets flustered and grumbles turning his head away for you to stop being a strange human. It's really cute though and he loves it whenever you do it! If you pay close attention, whenever you do it, he'll lean into it. Even if it's very slight. If you ever mention it though, he'll snap at you that he did no such thing!

Mutt- The first time that you did it to him, he'd giggle and lean into the feeling, because it tickled! The more you do it, the more he connects that to your love for him so you have to do it a lot more now or he'll start to think that you don't love him as much as you used to, and then he'd wonder if he did something wrong! He just wants you to be happy with him, you know? He thinks you're the best thing in the world for him, you make him happy. He wants to do it back for you but he has no eyelashes. He cries.

King- As the strongest monster in the underground, his whole thing of course, he believes that the awe-inspiring Sans deserved all of the kisses! Yet when his datemate first did the 'butterfly kisses' to him he got so flustered and shouted that you needed to warn him before they do anything of that sort! You don't like to warn him, because it's 'funny' and he has never wanted more than to fight you because come on! That's embarrassing. Yet if you don't do it for a little while, he's going to wonder if he did something wrong. Give him kisses...

Alpha- The first time that you did it to him, he looked at you like you were some crazy weirdo but then chuckled, ruffling your hair. Hey, if you wanna do that, who's he to stop you? As the royal judge and brother of the leader of the royal guard, he thinks pretty highly of himself. People bow to him and if they don't, then he's going to fuckin' make them, now isn't he? Then he read up on what the 'kisses' were and he finds it so cute, he can't wait for you to try to do it again so he could pull you into a real kiss. Come on, what do you expect from him?

Cosmos- Oh man, he thinks that you're out of this world! That's just so nice, honestly? Whenever that happens, he leans into the touch while floating a little higher, his eyes shutting. He often has to hide his face with his hood when he gets too embarrassed because he gets a sparkly blue blush on his face. His fluff was so big on his hoodie so he could often hide in it whenever he wanted to! He did it almost whenever you do that butterfly kiss thing. Damn himself for being so shy around his datemate! UGHHHHH! You and his brother liked to tease him.

Galaxy- Galaxy is a liar. He'll often say that he doesn't mind it when you give him the 'butterfly kisses' but whenever you do he gets a bright yellow blush that glows slightly in the dark. It's so cute! He'll say it doesn't bother him so you don't stop doing it, but dang does it get him flustered! Sometimes he'll even lift a little off the ground because of course their gravity is affected by their emotions. The only problem is he gets nauseous easily and could spin and get sick so be careful with what you do to this boy.

Lover- Aww you're so cute! Lover loves it whenever you do that, it makes him feel so loved. Sure, the first time that they got together, he thought it was gonna be just a one time thing, a one time date, but then it started to happen more often and he just fell in love with the feeling of being wanted. When you give him the kisses he'll lean into it, humming happily, and start to pepper your face with his own kisses. He can't do the butterfly kisses, but he could do real ones! Sorta... not really, but you liked it anyway.
