Late to the party I bought a small plant of French Beans having missed sowing seed. Duly forgot to plant them… remembered again (some time later)… Banged the little 9cm pot in a larger pot. Irrigated, but otherwise forgot about. Tulip planting started today. Will be doing this job over next few weeks as this is one of the last gardening jobs before Christmas and when winter starts kicking in more in this part of the world Manchester UK. Planted up Parrot and peony tulips in some smaller pots so I can move them around so they look good in April and May as its nice to have the versatility. Also wickes Peat free compost is here it's my first time using peat free after getting educated from Monty Don on #GardenersWorld about the damage caused through using peat based compost. This is the future of compost we're getting message out now and peat based compost is being made to faze out in next couple of years. So start now and you can be ahead of the game. #peatfree #wickes
