i was stayin in a hostel in Glasgow and had gone out drinking with a group formed in the hostel bar. And I got talking to one of the canadian guys and he was telling me about all the things he was doing in Scotland, one of wich was get fish and chips in Glasgow. (great idea by the way) While he was at the the shop he got talking to the owner and was desribing how odd he was (what else do you expect). "but he did know the Primeminister of Canada"

"yeah I know the priministers name!" then all the pints hit at once and I blanked, I said the the only thing that came to mind with a totaly deadpan expression "It Tim... Horton"

oh god, I have never seen someone Actually pinch the top of their nose in despair.

it is important to note that this takes place in the Jamaca St W*athersp*ons and so we were under 200m from a Tim Hortons at the time.

I did come clean, after a while of reveling in his despair.
