Headcanons for the investigation team girls having a western s/o who is an exchange student join the team after being thrown in the tv world? What if they also have a more western themed persona such as a gunslinger or something?

Roger roger. This is actually the basic premise of my Persona OC surprisingly but with a different kind of western Persona. This should be interesting.

This took fucking forever to do. Writer's block with ADHD is fun. Hope this is as good as you were expecting despite that.

-The moment you showed up at school for the first time Chie immediately took interest in you. Albeit for very... "Chie" reasons.

-She's naturally watched a lot of western action movies and took an interest in the kinds of martial arts they practice. She initially approached you because she was under the assumption you'd watched them, too.

-Upon finding out you haven't, the situation becomes a tad awkward, but she's able to eventually recover and get to know you normally. Her awkwardness was pretty amusing. Eventually it's not long before you two start dating.

-You're largely kept out of the picture when it comes to the Investigation Team, Chie tries to keep you out of it as best she can so that you don't get hurt. However it's not long before her worried thoughts over you manifest in the TV. When you show up on it she's immediately thrown into a panic, urging Yu and the others to get in there as fast as possible and get you out, regardless of how much time is left before you actually die.

-It's a long and hard fight, but eventually your shadow is defeated and you come to your senses, learning that as much as you hate it, this twisted, perverted (metaphorically) version of you is you. Your shadow turns into your Persona and it's...not what Chie expected.

-Granted she didn't know what she was expecting to begin with but she's certainly taken off guard. In retrospect though, it makes sense in her head. You're the westerner so it only makes sense for your true self to be a gunslinger, regardless of if you're the type to take offense to that if she said it out loud for...reasons.

-It's definitely got her approval though, it's pretty damn cool. As soon as you get out and get some rest she's going to start coming up with ideas for team attacks with you.

-Like Chie, Yukiko also found a unique interest in you. She grew up in a very traditionally Japanese household/family, she's not really acquainted with foreign culture. Like, at all.

-She tries her best to become friends with you though, but has no idea what the best way to interact with you is. The way she stumbles over her words every time she even gets a suspicion she accidentally said something wrong is pretty cute, even when it wasn't the case at all.

-Eventually after you two begin dating her worst fears come true, seeing you on the TV. She tries to keep calm unlike Chie but the worry is obvious.

-As worried for you as Yukiko is, she can't help but wonder what kind of Persona you'll awaken to, considering you're so different compared to everyone else who has seeing as you're the only foreigner.

-Once the fight with your Shadow comes she's surprisingly ruthless. If Fire magic is able to hurt it she will burn it as close to a crisp as she physically can. It's...a little scary to be honest.

When you finally accept your Shadow and it turns into your Persona she's pretty confused. Is that some kind of sheriff or outlaw Persona you have? Is it like those cowboys in old western movies she's heard about?

-Next thing you know the moment you wake up after getting back to the real world Yukiko will have bought a couple old cowboy movies she found at the clearance aisle at Junes for you two to watch together, feeling inspired to do so by your Persona. It's a fun night together.

-The moment Rise met you, her interest was immediately piqued. She's wondering if people overseas know about her and how popular she is outside of Japan. Definitely teases you if you do know who she is.

-Even if you don't, she finds the idea of a foreign S/O to be kinda hot. She'll tease you about being the foreign bad boy/girl type falling in love with an idol, even if you're the complete opposite. It's just all in good fun, though.

-Rise probably has the most obvious panic attack upon realized her S/O has been thrown into the TV, especially when she tries to call you but you fail answer. She's practically dragging Yu over to the entrance TV they use, her heart going a mile a minute.

-She unfortunately can't fight, but you can be damn sure if she could, she would. Her support skills are working overtime, it's the best she can do to ensure you get home safe.

-Her eyes widen in awe as she sees the Persona your Shadow turns into, gushing about how cool it and you are. She can't wait to see you in action once you finally join the team.

-Rise lowkey focuses on you a little bit when it comes to her supportive skills, especially if you show off in battle. She very much enables it.

-You're probably the first foreigner Naoto's met. She's heard stories of them that her grandfather has interacted with when he had to take up cases with detectives from other countries but she's never met one for herself. She wonders to herself if you're anything like them.

-Regardless of if you are or not, you do eventually find out that she is in fact not a guy. She's pretty embarrassed regardless of how that happens but her trust in you goes up immensely when you promise to and actually keep up the act of her being a guy until the truth comes out. Soon this results in a relationship

-There was this worry in the back of Naoto's head that you'd be the next victim to be thrown into the TV after she joined the team. As much as she didn't want you to, fate seemed to have other plans. She's able to keep her composure on the outside thankfully, but really, her mind is racing as she tries to come up with as efficient and safe of a plan as possible to get you out.

She knows that rushing into the TV blindly will only makes things worse for everyone, but despite her best efforts that anxiety in her gut is still very much there. She asks Yu to be on the frontlines, wanting to contribute as much as she can to the operation.

-Once your Shadow is finally defeated and turns into your Persona it immediately catches Naoto's attention. A western style gunslinger? That did check out as far as your origin, but for your true self to manifest as such was intriguing.

-She does use a gun herself so she's extra interested. She unfortunately can't get one for you as well as it's against the law, but immediately ideas start to come to mind regarding team attacks. Lord have mercy on any Shadow unfortunate enough to find themselves in the crosshairs of your girlfriend and your Persona.

-She might be a bit hesitant to admit it at first but your Persona has sparked a bit of an interest in old style western media. Old movies from the west start catching her interest, especially ones that seem to resemble your Persona in some way. Just don't tell anyone else about it, she'll feel like fainting from embarrassment.

Like hell she's letting you go! Are you kidding me? You'd be in so much more danger! Not to mention, it could affect the entire group too.

Offers to stay out of the TV world to take care of you instead. Sure, she loves kicking shadow butt, but she'd rather stay outside to take care of you than you still showing up and end up in danger.

So yeah, you and her are going to watch some kung fu movies while you eat soup and take medicine because you are going to get better and not go into dangerous situations.

Naoto

Naoto tells you that it's unwise to go into the TV world while sick.

She understands why you want to. She gets the determination, but everyone will be fine. If it means so much, she'll even ask Yu to wait a day in hopes you get better.

Yes the mission is important, but that makes it more essential to have the whole team in good shape. So for now, let her take care of you.

Haru

Aw it's funny that you think you can still go to Mementos when you're sick. It's really funny that you think Haru would let you.

Seriously, you're not going anywhere. She will chain you to your bed if it'll make you get some rest.

Why would you even think that you could still go and fight with everyone? You’re sick. You need to stay safe and not be in a dangerous situation. She’ll even take care of you, but you have to rest.

Makoto

Absolutely not. The seasons affect shadows in Mementos pretty badly and she doesn't want to think about what sort of negative affect you'll have by going in sick.

It would just put the whole team in trouble should something happen. Not to mention she wouldn't be able to concentrate and strategize because she'll worry about you.

If she can, she'll sit out on going to Mementos. She has some recipes that her parents and Sae used for soups and such when she gets sick. Let her take care of you.

Cuddling with their S/o headcanons pt.2

alr peeps who are even interested here's a part two with the rest of the playable cast excluding teddy cause who would date a inflatable looking teddy bear

For anyone looking for the first part with Naoto and Rise come get your food.

Warnings: Mentions of self image issues and Possible ooc but that's it

Story type: Fluff

Pairings/Characters: Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, Kanji Tatsumi.

(if you all can tell i got more tired the more i wrote this no you can't-)

Yu

Yu is relatively neutral towards cuddles, he doesn't exactly love them but doesn't hate them either. Don't get him wrong he adores having you close and being able to hold you in his arms but physical touch isn't really his love language.

However he'll gladly cuddle you anytime you want cuddles, he enjoys seeing you happy and thinks it feels slightly nice to have you this close to him.

He won't do anything special like kiss your forehead or run his hands through your hair but instead will just wrap around you. Like he's trying to protect you from everything dangerous in this world.

Since cuddles aren't really his thing unlike most of the others if he's exhausted most of the time he'll just ask to lean on your shoulder while relaxing on a couch or something similar. He would more of prefer putting a movie on while drinking tea to relax.

The quirk i mentioned earlier of Yu basically wrapping himself around you makes for great and warm cuddles though, so basically like naoto's cuddles but easily warm through a different way.

Surprisingly Yu falls asleep incredibly easy and soon enough he'll be smiling in his sleep, clinging tight to you.

Yosuke

Yosuke in my mind is the pure definition of a loveable idiot and absolutely adores cuddles. He isn't embarrassed to show PDA in public and of his own accord will sometimes randomly grab your hand and show you affection infront of the rest of the group unprompted.

He's fine with being both the small and big spoon but heavily prefers being the big spoon more. He absolutely enjoys holding you in his arms and gets so excited about it that by the time you're cuddling he feels the need to shift postions every second.

After long days of fighting in the tv world or a long shift at junes whenever he's exhausted he flocks towards you. Whining about going home and cuddling. Even when exhausted he still usually is the big spoon, still mentally getting recharged no matter if he's being the one held or not.

However due to his self image issues every now and then the guy needs some comfort cuddles and needs to be the little spoon. It saddens you to see your partner looking down on himself again so kiss and cuddle those sad thoughts away!

Unlike the others Yosuke doesn't have some weird quirk with body temperature so it'll take the basic amount of time it takes for someone to get cold or warm while cuddling.

Yosuke funnily though will forget to take his headphones off, causing you to look up at him in confusion and giggle about it. Yosuke will nervously rub the back of his neck and remove the headphones, but happy this slight thing humored you. His arms tightly wrapped around you.

Chie

Chie is another one of the characters that don't like or dislike cuddles, however that's only normally with Chie. After meeting you she fell head over heals in love with you and slowly started loving cuddles and legit one time out of happiness jumped on you as soon as you suggested cuddling.

She's fine with being both the small and big spoon and doesn't have preference. No matter if she's holding you or you're holding her, she's happy just being with you.

Due to her experience in fighting and higher stamina then the other group members it's slightly harder to get her exhausted. Whenever she does though she doesn't immediately go to cuddling, she usually does self care things such as taking a shower or eating a snack before asking.

She'll take the sports jacket she usually wears off due to not wanting to overheat whenever cuddling as she builds body heat quickly like some of the others.

She sorta extra when it comes to cuddles as she'll litter kisses everywhere she can but definitely not as extra as rise.

While cuddling Chie feels completely relaxed and at peace, it's almost strange seeing the normally boisterous and energetic girl so quiet. But at the same time it's not the unnerving kind, it's the happy kind as a smile is almost on her face 100 percent of the time with her eyes close and arms tight around you.

Yukiko

Yukiko loves cuddles but not in the hyper way Chie, Yosuke, and Rise do. She more of views it as a nice and relaxing way to share affection with her partner and she's more then happy to do it.

She's fine with being both the big and small spoon and doesn't have a preference for either, she mostly just goes along with whatever you want to do unless she wants to play a specific role that day.

Her long black hair usually ends up over your shoulders or somewhere else as she's a bit of a restless sleeper and it's hard for her to get into a comfortable position so she shifts around a lot. Eventually when she does get into a comfortable position she's out like a light.

Unlike the others she's not incredibly busy outside of the tv world and her studies so she doesn't get as exhausted as the others but whenever she does if she feels it'll help she will politely ask to cuddle with you. Not soon after she'll be in your arms shifting around trying to find a comfortable position.

Before cuddling she usually changes into pajamas to be the most comfortable as she isn't bothered too much by heat and temperature in general.

Sometimes when she's already asleep she'll forget to take her headband off despite already being all dressed in pajamas, causing you to giggle silently as you either held her in your arms or she held you in hers.

Kanji

Kanji seems like he's a tough nut to crack, at first it seems like he dislikes cuddles but in reality he somewhat likes them. He likes being close to you and being able to hold you but isn't the best at admitting it.

When you do ease him into cuddling he's definitely a big spoon, he's basically never the small spoon and heavily prefers being the big spoon. If you do insist him being the small spoon he'll grumble about it but still let you spoon him.

He usually keeps his coats and stuff on while cuddling and sometimes wraps it around you, especially if you're still somehow cold.

He's larger compared to the other members of the group despite being younger then them so he's definitely the best to cuddle with out of sheer body weight and mass, he can completely encompass your body and make you warm in little less then 2 minutes.

Kanji is a master at knitting and has probably knitted blankets upon blankets that he'll gladly stack on top of you if you get incredibly cold. He isn't as busy as some of the others and spends most of his time doing his hobbies, so he doesn't get tired as often. But when he does he doesn't really mention anything about it unless you ask him about it.

Kanji doesn't fall asleep easy, so for most of the night he just holds you in his arms happily. Watching over you protectively.

when chie called you asking to come to samegawa to train with her, you accepted immediately. not only would you be spending time with her, but you figured you could use the fresh air. you've been holing yourself up in your room for a bit now, so this was the perfect opportunity to not only get some sunshine and fresh air but also some human interaction!

she was already doing some stretches and warm-ups when you arrived. she waved you over with a wide smile on her face.

"y/n! hurry up and start stretching! i've got some moves i wanna perfect before going into the TV again!"

you did as you were told and quickly started warming up, and in no time, the two of you were sparring. throwing kicks and punches and dodging here and there. chie, per usual, was training her legs, and you figured your arms could use the exercise today.

as the sparring continued, chie got more and more enthusiastic. it was almost too much for you to keep up with.

you stopped blocking the attacks to lower your guard and catch your breath. as you took in lungfuls of air, you weren't able to see chie's sneaker flying directly at you.

it was too late to dodge - you were knocked down with a rather sore-feeling cheek, and some dirt in the shape of her sole on your face.

closing your eyes against the dizzying pain, you heard chie exclaim and rush down to your side.

"oh my god! y/n, i'm so, so, so, sorry!!!" she whined, frustrated at herself, but got to work grabbing an ice pack from her backpack. she held it up to your face.

"here... and i'm really, really sorry..."

you were quick to accept her apology and dismiss her concerns.

"please don't tell the others about this..."

you didn't, but chie kicking your face became a bit of an in-joke between you two.

Lolita fashion is something you love, and you’re not afraid to show it. 

You love how the cute dresses make you feel, and the sweet compliments you receive from others.

Although, getting dressed does take a bit of time. You always make sure you look your best before leaving your home for the day, and that includes makeup.

The best part of your day is when Yosuke’s eyes light up in recognition as he spots you from afar.

Unfortunately for his bike, and him, this results in him crashing his bike into the nearest trash can.

For the third time this week.

“Y/n! Oh, it’s so good to see you! I see you’re all decked out as usual.” Yosuke’s lips form a goofy grin as he slowly walks around you, admiring the cute bonnet on your head in the process.

“So, what’s the plan for today guys?” After Chie speaks up, the rest of the investigation team begins chatting amongst themselves. Yosuke continues to stand beside me, and he subtly grabs a hold of my arm.

He not so subtly motions for me to follow him, and so I do.

Kanji notices us separating from the group so he decides to voice a farewell. “Yo, Yosuke! Let me know how it goes. Watch out for that trash can next to you.” Kanji’s booming voice draws the attention of the others to our direction, and Yosuke’s cheeks burst in an explosion of red.

My cheeks flush as well, and I pray it goes unnoticed.

“Shut up moron, I can see the trash can! …but thanks.” Yosuke bashfully mutters the last part. He makes a quick escape with me in tow as Chie and Teddie’s teasing remarks reach my ears.

I wonder what Kanji means by ‘let me know how it goes?’

Aw well, this is my chance to impress Yosuke! I train my eyes on the back of Yosuke’s fluffy head as I recall the many times he’s made his love for Rise known. It doesn’t particularly bother me… okay, maybe it does. The girls Yosuke talks to or about clearly have little to no interest in him.

But I do! Why doesn’t he talk about me like that?

My thoughts continue in that direction until I accidentally bump into Yosuke’s back.

“Oof!” I step backwards and hope my makeup didn’t smudge on him. “Whoops, my bad! I should’ve given you a warning haha, but well, here we are!” Yosuke nervously gestures to…

I hope my face expresses the utter disappointment I feel; I stare into Yosuke’s eyes as he gestures to the Junes in front of us.

You have got to be kidding me.

“Yosuke, look.” I gesture to the trash cans in the aisle, and Yosuke gives me a similar deadpan look to the one I gave him a few moments ago.

I giggle as I flash a teasing grin in his direction. I relish the way his eyes gleam with that familiar sparkle of adoration. “All jokes aside, are you alright? That’s the third time this week you’ve fallen into a trash can.” Yosuke awkwardly coughs into his fist at my words, and he attempts to laugh it off.

“Haha, right right. Well um, thanks for the concern Y/n. I really appreciate it, but as you can see I am a-okay!” Yosuke comically tries to flex, which results in one of the trash cans knocking against his arm and almost falling into the aisle.

Before it can hit Yosuke I quickly hold the edge of it and gently push it back into place.

Phew, thank you, fast reflexes!

Yosuke looks at me in astonishment as I let out a sheepish chuckle. I notice a small cut on his hand, and I step forward to take a closer look. Yosuke’s eyes follow my line of sight, and he quickly hides his hand behind his back.

“Yosuke, do you have-“ “Oh, look! It’s the clothing aisle! Come, let’s see if they have anything similar to the lolita dresses you always wear. You look so pretty in them, it’d be a shame not to check right?” Before I can fully process his sweet compliment Yosuke gently grasps my hand in his as he guides me to the clothing section.

“Oh my gosh Yosuke, look!” The clothing section did in fact have lolita clothes, somehow, and I’m currently gushing over a cute petticoat I found in the clearance section.

“You’ll look beautiful in that petticoat, you should get it.” I abruptly look up when Yosuke’s soft voice reaches my ears, and my breath catches when his eyes meet mine.

I see evident affection in his warm brown eyes, and it acts as a magnet as I lean in closer to him. Yosuke leans in towards me as well, and we stare into each other’s eyes in silence for a few moments.

“Yosuke, how did you know there would be lolita clothes here?” Yosuke chokes on air after I ask my question, and I gently pat his back in an attempt to comfort him. After he recovers from his abrupt coughing fit, he avoids looking at my face as he speaks.

“Well, I may or may not have been interested in the cute clothes you wear, so… I looked into it. I have to say, it was very interesting to read all about lolita fashion. I also may or may not have convinced my father to bring in lolita clothes to sell at Junes, but he only agreed to sell some on clearance and see how that goes.” Yosuke sheepishly looks anywhere but at me. I’m glad he’s looking anywhere but at me so he can't see the way my bottom lip quivers.

Yosuke did this for me? That’s beyond thoughtful, and really considerate. He even looked into lolita fashion because of me!

“Yosuke, I…” I place a hand on Yosuke’s arm, and he slowly turns his head to look at me. We’re still standing close to each other, and my heart pounds against my chest as Yosuke takes in my expression. He slowly closes his eyes as he leans in closer to me, and I close my eyes in anticipation.

Yosuke’s soft lips brush against my own, and a soft sigh escapes my lips as he fully presses them against mine.

“Sensei, look! Yosuke finally did it! Yosuke finally-“

I feel Yosuke flinch, but despite that he takes his time before pulling away. I giggle as we both turn to look in the direction of a familiar voice.

I burst into laughter as Teddie comically gets yanked back into the cleaning aisle by his collar, and his loud complaints quickly fade away as Chie loudly scolds Teddie for blowing everyone’s cover.

Yosuke and I look back at each other, and it only results in me laughing harder as he groans in annoyance.

“I swear I’m going to kill him later.”

Yosuke ends up buying the petticoat for me despite my humble protests, and I’m practically glowing with joy as I hold the Junes bag close to my chest.

“Sorry about Teddie Y/n, that bear doesn’t know when to shut his mouth.” I dismiss Yosuke’s apology with a smile.

“No worries Yosuke! Besides, I enjoyed our kiss.” Yosuke’s face displays a goofy grin and gleaming eyes as my words reach his ears. “Oh, right. I wanted to ask you earlier, but...” Yosuke slowly stops walking, and I follow suit.

Yosuke turns to face me as the tips of his ears sport a pretty blush.

“Y/n, I’ve really enjoyed hanging out with you these last few months. I also love everything I’ve learned about you, including the parts of yourself you don’t like. So, I was wondering if you’d…” Yosuke’s eyes fix on something behind me, and he shoos whatever it is away with a few frantic flicks of his hand.

I turn to look behind me, but Yosuke quickly grabs my shoulders and pulls me towards him.

“Will you be my girlfriend Y/n?”

“H-huh…” My eyes widen at his unexpected question, and my heart flips in my chest.

My lack of a response causes Yosuke to fidget in place, but he doesn’t push me for an answer right away.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath to gather my thoughts. 

It’s honestly hard to believe this isn’t a dream.

Once my eyes open again, I quickly press a chaste kiss to Yosuke’s lips. I giggle when I pull away and his lips eagerly chase after mine. 

“You haven't heard my answer yet, you know?” Yosuke mutters something incomprehensible under his breath before he’s pulling me in for another kiss.

“Sensei, look! Yosuke’s about to get lucky!”

Yosuke ignores Teddie’s obnoxiously loud speculation as he gently runs his hands down my back to rest against my waist.

Once he does pull away, he glares daggers at who I assume is the investigation team behind us.

“You guys really don’t know how to be subtle, huh? Good thing spying isn’t a requirement in the investigation team.” Yosuke grumbles.

I boisterously laugh at his annoyance and softly pat his shoulder to placate him. “If you were still wondering, my answer is yes. I’d love to be your girlfriend, Yosuke Hanamura.”

The pure elation on his face is enough to cause a goofy smile to present itself on my lips.

Life in Inaba could be so boring.

It was always the same routine: wake up, go to school, sit through class, hang out around town and go back home. And Chie hated boring routines.

Sure, it wasn’t all that bad. She liked being with her friends at school, even though she sometimes wished Yosuke would never open his mouth again - still, she couldn’t deny that she enjoyed their company. Unfortunately, she didn’t enjoy it enough for boredom to spare her.

Chie kicked the ground with her shoe. Her hands played with her jacket, stuffed in its pockets as she aimlessly walked around town. She didn’t really know where she was heading - honestly, anywhere would’ve been better than doing nothing. She really hated doing nothing.

She had thought about texting Yu to come hang out, but he unfortunately bailed on her to hang out with another one of his countless friends - seriously, how many friends did he have? - so Chie was stuck on her own.

She walked for what seemed like an eternity; she had probably gone all through the town by now. Every now and then she spotted someone she knew, yet nobody seemed to be free enough to quell her boredom. When she finally stopped, she found herself in front of a building; raising her head, she recognized the Amagi Inn at first glance.

…Well, she had considered calling up Yukiko to hang out. She just wasn’t sure if she was working today and didn’t want to bother.

But Yukiko wouldn’t mind if she showed up, right? Of course not!

And with that assurance in mind, Chie walked up to the door and rang the bell. The door was soon opened by one of the Inn’s houseworkers - her eyes lit up in recognition when she saw Chie, and she quickly ushered her in.

Chie was left in the entrance as the house worker rushed to get Yukiko. She awkwardly looked around, waiting patiently - as patiently as Chie could. Still, Yukiko came speed walking soon enough, throwing her arms around Chie’s neck in a tackling hug. Chie stumbled from the sudden force and fell on the ground with a yelp, Yukiko still on top of her.

“Wha- Yukiko, you can’t just jump on me like that!”

Her girlfriend laughed.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I was so happy to see you here, I couldn’t stop myself!”

Chie blushed. She couldn’t possibly stay mad when Yukiko said stuff like that, especially with that huge smile on her face. She sighed in defeat, returning the hug until Yukiko decided to get back up.

Yukiko dusted off her clothes before looking back at Chie - her casual clothes, by the way. So she wasn’t working today. She smiled; Chie smiled back, the reaction coming naturally.

“What brings you here today?”

Chie shrugged, her gaze wandering around as she danced on one foot.

“Oh, not much, really… I was bored, and, uh, I guess I just ended up walking here instinctively? What I mean to say is- I wanted to see you.”

She mumbled the last part, feeling her face heat up in embarrassment. Hearing Yukiko giggle only heightened her blush, and she looked away, trying to hide her face from the girl who was currently definitely laughing at “how cute she was”.

“Oh Chie, you’re so cute!”

Knew it.

“Stop it, don’t say that…”

She heard more giggles, before Yukiko approached her and grabbed her arm, effectively pulling her after her.

“Come on, let’s do something together then.”

Yeah, Chie hated the routine that came with living in Inaba. But hanging out with Yukiko could never end up as a routine to her; she always appreciated every moment spent in her company.

Also sorry for not writing a request at all yesterday, had motivation/writer's block issues but we're back now.

Chie is quick to panic the moment she sees you show up on the Midnight Channel. It only gets worse when she immediately calls you and there's no answer. Safe to say, she doesn't sleep that night.

-The first thing she does at class is bring it up. The rest of the IT is very likely familiar with you already in some way or another, even if you're not one of them. Though from the looks of things that may be about to change.

-Her anxiety only gets even worse when her most dreaded moment arrives, meeting your Shadow. It quickly goes from dreaded to appalled when she hears what it has to say.

-You Shadow openly taunts you about knowing deep down you weren't good enough. You were so weak compared to Chie, she oughta ditch and find someone else not as sad and pathetic as you.

-You of course try to put up a strong front in front of your girlfriend and friends and deny your Shadow, leading it to transform and attack. Really this isn't the worst outcome for Chie, most other people would kill to literally kick their S/O's insecurities about themselves in the face. It's surprisingly cathartic despite the situation.

-To put a stop to everything, you need to confront your real feelings about yourself in front of everyone, regardless of how uncomfortable it is, and you're awarded with a Persona.

-As soon as you're out of the TV world and you're alone Chie immediately slaps you for ever doubting yourself like that. Partly out of anger and partly out of concern to get you out of that train of thought.

-She hugs you right after and promises that you are in fact good enough for her, and she'll do anything to make you see that. It won't be easy, but everything she's done for you today is at least a good start.

-Anxiety and worry immediately find themselves welling up uncomfortably inside Yukiko as she sees your Shadow on the TV, claiming to know a huge secret. What could you possibly be hiding from her?

-Regardless of her feelings of fear as to what that may be, she has to push on, considering your life is now on the line here.

-Her feeling of nervousness only gets worse and worse as the team progresses through the dungeon, and by the time they reach your Shadow her heart feels as if it's trying to escape.

-It's then that your Shadow reveals the secret it teased. It lays your feelings out plain in front of everyone, saying that you didn't deserve someone so perfect like Yukiko. You'd be better off just dying so that she could find someone better for her.

-So that was the secret. She has a few things on her on mind to share, but that can wait until your life isn't in mortal danger. She attacks your Shadow relentlessly, about to do her damndest to make sure it feels how much she really loves you, make it feel it so much that it burns.

-You eventually have to fess up how you feel, swallowing your pride in front of everyone. Hey, at least you get a cool Persona out of it.

-Once you're safe and sound back in the real world, Yukiko hesitantly confronts you, asking if everything your Shadow said was true. You have no choice now but to be honest. You ask her if she really thinks that you're enough for someone like her.

-She's equal parts flattered and concerned that you hold her in such higher regards than yourself to this degree. With a slightly embarrassed demeanor, she assures you that you are in fact enough to make her happy, and she'll do anything to make you sure of that too.

-The first thing going through Rise's head as she sees you on the Midnight Channel is probably something along the lines of "Oh hell no". Both in a fearful way and an angry way.

-Never before has she been so frustrated about not having a combat Persona. This is the one time she actually wishes to be out on the front lines fighting, however her Persona isn't specced for that much to her chagrin.

-Upon finally reaching you and your Shadow she's the first to warn you about it and try urging you to accept it. However this proves to be to little avail.

-Both of you are caught off guard as it spouts out your insecurities about your relationship straight to your faces, making some grim jokes about Rise ditching you and getting into a scandal with some other idol that isn't so much of a wimp.

-If Rise had the capability to slap your Shadow, it would've gotten launched out the window. Unfortunately all she can do now is support the rest of the IT to hopefully do that for her.

-She's demanding rather assertively for you to accept your Shadow. Despite how embarrassed you feel right now, there's no hiding from it anymore, and you have to accept those feeling as a part of you, giving your your Persona.

-Once you're finally back in the real world, Rise drags you out somewhere you can be alone with her and immediately traps you in a bone crushing hug on the verge of tears. She's calling you an idiot for ever thinking you're not good enough, especially when she makes it so clear how much she cares about you.

-Despite the slightly harsh words, you're her idiot, and she'd rather have no one else by her side. She doesn't let you leave her sight until she can say with confidence you're sure of that, too.

-Naoto is stunned upon seeing you on the TV. She just sits there, completely appalled as she watches you announce the revealing of some big secret it's about to reveal.

-Despite the situation she does her best to keep her cool. She's rather new to the team so no one knows who you are but once she explains you're her S/O they quickly realize the gravity of the situation and waste no time in jumping into the TV.

-She immediately asks Yu for her to be on the frontlines, wishing to take charge in this mission to save her S/O. He thankfully agrees despite her inexperience. She's more than smart enough to lead the charge, knowing the intricacies of your dungeon since she's the only one who knows you so much.

-They soon find your Shadow holding you hostage, seemingly expecting the group to show up. It's cool and collected, no sign of nervousness upon seeing them.

-It seems oddly intent upon breaking you and Naoto up throwing out all your insecurities for everyone to hear.

-She had been suspecting something was up for a while now, but not something this extreme. The time to talk about that was later though, there was a fight to be had. She expected you wouldn't accept these feelings were real right off the bat.

-Reluctantly and with a heavy sigh, you come to accept your Shadow and the unfortunate truths it speaks.

-Naoto, now armed with new knowledge, confronts you on what your Shadow had said. Had you really felt that you didn't deserve her? If anything she should be feeling that way. She knows her work prevents her from making as much time with you as she ought to, she was worried she hadn't been giving you enough.

-The two of you can finally be refreshingly honest with each other. If anything, your relationship is even stronger than before, finally knowing the depths of how much you two truly admire one another, and you both can feel secure in knowing that you feel the same way.

She's confused as to why you aren't talking to her afterwards. You won't even make eye contact.

Honestly kind of worried that she did something wrong. That she upset you somehow.

But then you admit why you're avoiding. You're embarrassed and mad at yourself because you ran away in battle. Chie is silent for a bit after your admittance.

Then she laughs and tells you all about how the "scary" Kanji has run away or Yosuke falling on his face from failing to run away. Seriously, it happens and she knows you didn't do it willingly.

Haru

Honestly when you got hit by the shadow she was a bit relieved when you ran away.

Just because she doesn't like seeing you hurt and there's a lot worse status effects that you could've gotten.

Haru would never judge you in anyway. The shadows are getting stronger and craftier. None of the thieves are immune to their attacks.

She does get it though. She would be livid if a shadow made her run away, so you being upset about it is totally understandable!

Makoto

Is a bit upset because she used to be able to call out attacks and warn everyone that something big was coming up.

She feels guilty that she wasn't able to warn you before you got attacked.

She understands being ashamed for running from a fight. But at least you did it against a shadow whereas she's run from a lot of things in real life.

If you're really bothered by it then she'll see if Joker can get you some kind of accessory to make you immune. She's seen him have all sorts of things stockpiled.

Ryuji

Honestly after seeing you run away, he's more pissed at the shadow than you. Like hell he's going to let the shadow get away with running you off!

Does his best to make sure you're okay after the fight. Yeah he gets you're upset that you ran away, but it's happened to him too as well as others.

Will start telling you about all kinds of things shadows had made them all do. He can't count the amount of times he's gotten confused and tried beating the crap out of Joker. Or threw away really expensive healing items.

There are worse things than running from a fight. You did great with what you did in the fight before it happened. Hell, you're a beast in every fight. It was about time you took a break.

It was so hard for you to even muster the courage to look at him in the eye that you were sure your ancestors are rolling over their graves next to Seiros.

All of your etiquette training went out the window as soon as Dimitri greeted you with a wave. You couldn’t meet his eyes as you quickly stuffed your mouth with cake. You were surprised that you didn’t choke on them considering that they were the creamiest cakes that the kitchen provided. Oh gods, what if you had cake stuck on your face and here you were stuffing your face full of sweets?

“I’m a bit honored that you invited me.” He said suddenly, and you had to bite back a choke and force the cakes into your mouth and your throat immediately regretted it. “It’s not often that we get to talk to each other without interruption. I’m honestly glad.”

You gulped down the tea to clear your throat as you met his eyes finally. “Y-Yeah, I hope that you didn’t find it too forward.”

He shook his head quickly, almost looking like a child who was caught doing something bad. “N-Not at all! I enjoy the time we spend together!”

Immediately, you flushed brightly at his words. He still looked like he was flushed from assuming that you were forcing him to have tea with you and not the absolute heartwarming words that he spouted from his mouth. You opened your mouth to try and tell him the implications of his words but he beat you to it.

His face immediately reddened, almost turning into a tomato and your brain made the poor judgment that he looked like a plate of pasta with marinara sauce. You had to stuff your mouth with more cake in order to not spit out your saliva from your laughing.

“N-Not in that sense!” He stammered. “But I truly mean that-but n-not in that context...!”

You swallowed your cake. “You wanna go out sometime?”

Now it was his turn to choke on something. “P-Pardon?”

“This is a pretty bad tea party with how we look like,” You spat out, noting how both of you were probably flustered beyond all recognition, “s-so... why not try for a new date?”

You were honestly surprised that came out smoothly.

You weren’t lying that you were flustered beyond recognition; your eyes were blown wide as your face was practically on fire. Dimitri wasn’t faring any better-his face was still red as the Bolganone tomes.

But his swift ‘yes’ was all the coolness that you needed.

✧ Bernadetta von Varley

“C’mon Bernie...” The girl hyped herself in front of her mirror. “You can totally do this! They asked you out from all the other people in the monastery for Seiros’s sake!”

It was a miracle for Bernadetta to even give praise to herself. It was even more of a miracle that she agreed willingly to go outside with someone. It was usually someone forcing her to go outside for lessons. And yet, here she was, doing the opposite of... well, Bernie things.

“Just... act normal.” She chided herself, looking at her mirror. Her reflection showed her messy mop of hair, her eyebags beneath her shaking pupils, her permanent frown as she began to see frown lines. It didn’t take long for Bernadetta to cry out in frustration and cover her face in her hands.

“Bernie?” She heard from outside and she let out a scream. “I’m here to pick you up for our tea time!”

She let out another (muffled) terrified scream as she scrambled for any sort of cover to protect her face, even though she was in the safety of her own room. The urge to huddle back to her bed was tempting but your insistent knocking was making her freeze in place.

“J-Just a second!” She called out, removing her hands from her face. She breathed in and out, recalling the old exercises Edelgard forced her to remember. Look them in the eye, keep your head up, and make sure your voice is clear. With newfound vigor, she opened the door wide-open. The glaring sun casted down its rays behind you, almost giving you a halo as her eyes squinted against the shining light. To be honest, Bernadetta didn’t even think she was hallucinating as she opens her mouth to say something.

“Do you wanna go out sometime?”

Not that kind of something!

Somehow, the sun slowly lost it’s shine, leaving Bernadetta to see you clearly. And to her horror, she sees your flustered face and she realized that those words weren’t just a figment of her imagination.

Before she could run back to her room, you quickly grasped the door so she wouldn’t shut it. “W-Wait, I thought I already asked you out?”

She screamed at the words, back to hiding her face again as she feels the blood rushing to her cheeks. “D-Don’t listen to what I said! I-I didn’t mean it!”

“S-So do you still want to have that tea time?” You asked shyly, not wanting to provoke her further.

“YES!”

Dorothea and Edelgard, who were watching the exchange behind a stack of crates, both facepalmed at the sight of Bernadetta trying her best.

✧ Chie Satonaka

“You wanna go out sometime?”

In retrospect, maybe Chie should’ve eased up her kick when you asked her that.

She’s still bowing down next to your cot, feeling bad that she rendered you immobile for the remainder of the school day. Embarrassment didn’t even come close to how Chie was feeling. Like seriously, who punts their crush’s gut when they ask her out? If Yosuke was nearby, he would’ve laughed his stomach off.

“I’m still so sorry...” She whimpered, apologizing for the umpteenth time. She can’t even look you in the eye as she sets her sights on her lap. Her fingers fidgeted on top of them, the feeling of wanting to kick herself never felt so good.

She hears you groan and the rustling of sheets before she hears you laugh. “I mean, it’s not that I wasn’t expecting that. I was sure you were gonna hurt me before I would even say anything.”

She groaned, burying her face in her hands as she almost felt like crying. Great, first she hurt you, now she made you think she was a violent thug? Can anything else go worse this day?

You gasped from her reaction and you immediately sat up. “N-Not that I think you’re scary! W-What I meant was--”

Before you could probably bury yourself even further, your side began acting up. You yelped from the pain, hands flying to your bruised side as you sucked in a breath between your teeth.

Chie immediately shot up, eyes widening at the sight of your pained self. Her hands shot forward, grabbing your shoulders as she pushed you back on the bed. “Hey! Don’t push yourself!”

Her worry outweighed the compromising position she placed herself in. She brought you back down to lie on the cot as she stood back. "Don't be too rash on yourself! Geez, you nearly gave me a heart attack."

You chuckled, leaving her confused on why you were laughing at a time like this. She waited for you to calm down, the blush on her cheeks slightly fading away.

"Sorry..." You said, slightly out of breath. "It's just that... This is an embarrassing first date, huh...?"

The raging blush returned immediately. Chie had to look away from your sheepish face as she fiddled with the hem of her jacket. "Wh-What's with that 180 turn?!"

You chuckled once more, but Chie soon found out you weren't faring any better. The flustered look on your face was something she won't mind staring at for a long time. The guilt of putting you in the school clinic was far back in her mind. As you continue to laugh, she slowly laughs along with you. The situation that brought you here really was comedic, now that she thought about it.

God, or maybe Yosuke was rubbing off on her.

"I mean..." She started, looking at you in the eye with a shy look. "We can always start over, can't we?"
