Seeing his brother had be so unexpected and such a shock that he hadn't been prepared for the punch. It was also just so unlike what he'd expected from Knives the next time he saw him that the punch had him reeling for a moment, dizzy and wondering what the hell just happened.

He took a step back and did his best to keep the tears in his eyes from falling. Knives hadn't held back, either. The punch had HURT, much more than a typical human would be able to manage, for certain.

"What the hell was that for?" he demanded in a voice just shy of an outraged shout.
