So what is the sleeping arrangements for the Toys since there is around 80 some of them being very tall in a kinda cramp house
And let’s not forget that there are issues with Toys with each other like DogDay(the Best Boy) with the Mini Critters you can guess why, along with CatNap, plus CatNap with Mommy Long Legs
So definitely issues
I talked about this with my beautiful and amazing partner and completely forgot about responding this ask! Okay, so:
During the first few months post-factory escape, the toys are all living in Angel's super small house. Things are cramped and only get worse after the authorities find the remaining smiling critters, still alive although all really pretty beat up. For this house, the sleeping arrangements are... Complicated.
We have a kitching, living room, Angel's single bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. With this setup, we have:
Huggy Wuggy, PJ Pug-a-Pillar and the mini huggies make a giant cuddle pile in the living room, where the rest of the smaller toys sleep.
Mommy Long Legs gets the couch because unlike the others she isn't made of pure fluff. The mini critters use her as a pillow.
Catnap is always awake during night time, keeping an eye out for intruders, so when he's doing his "patrol" the mini critters occupy his corner in the living room, waiting for him to come back. During daytime that corner is where he stays at taking naps.
Kissy Missy, Poppy and Dogday use Angel's room. Angel themself is always sleeping close to a different toy because everyone wants their attention.
Bunzo is ALWAYS sleeping next to Angel, he doesn't care, he's Baby and has bad separation anxiety.
Miss Delight grabs a cushion and sleeps in the kitchen because she's too used to sleeping alone and she's a bit paranoid at first. With time, some of the smaller toys start using her as pillow, after she allows them to do that.
When the other Smiling Critters finally start leaving the hospital, the arrangement changes to fit everyone.
Hoppy, Boxy Boo and Bubba go to Angel's room.
Huggy and the mini huggies sleep in the laundry room because they're all super flexible and love the cramped space. Angel doesn't like that at all but can't do much about it.
Kickin, Crafty and Bobby make a cuddle pile in the living room.
Picky goes to sleep in the kitchen because she can't bear staying close to the other critters after she ate pieces of them in order to survive.
When Angel finally finds the farm house, everyone basically speedruns moving out. There's a LOOOOT of bickering about who gets which room to sleep with whom, but I think the final arrangement is this:
Poppy, Kissy, Bobby and Crafty in their own #noboysallowed shared bedroom.
Huggy + the mini huggies, PJ and Bunzo in their own #nogirlsallowed (except Hoppy because she's really cool) room. This is also technically Boxy Boo's room but he has nightmares when he isn't sleeping next to Hoppy.
Hoppy, Mommy Long Legs and Piggy, even though Piggy sleeps more in the living room for the first few months. Some small toys also live in their own corner of the room here.
Bubba and Miss Delight, because they're the only ones who Get how the other works when it comes to room organization. Delight also sleeps in the living room for the first few months at first, and she and Picky become best friends during that time period.
The mini critters and small toys share a room that's also technically Catnap's, but he sleeps more at Prototype's hut than in there.
Dogday and Kickin have their own room! It's right next to Hoppy's, with she often also sleeping with them thanks to her nightmares.
Angel has their own room in theory because they're always sleeping in someone else's room. The toys still fight over their attention, rip.
Prototype has his own hut, and there's a place just for Catnap in there.
The farm house has some other rooms as well that are all repurposed into things like a small study room, a play room, etc. One room is left empty for when people come over to visit. This room is what becomes Catnap and Dogday's future room as well!
Prototype uses Angel's room to sleep when there's a thunder storm outside. Angel is afraid of him getting struck by lightning and their room is in the middle of the house where they can look out for the other toys, so Proto feels safest in ehre.

Part 1 Part 7
Knowing that light hurts the beasts trying to hurt us, everyone quickly takes inventory of everything that makes light.
Despite how bad it looked or not caring how it looked I stuck close to Riddick. He kept me alive more than once today.
Plus I felt calmer around him. More myself. More in control. Something about being next to a man you knew could handle anything that got thrown at him.
So I stood next to him as I stood around the burning cutting torch trying to figure out a plan.
“So we got one cutting torch, we got two hand lights. There’s gotta be something we can rip out of the crash ship.”
“Spirts.” Paris says leaning forward to fan himself.
I was humid and stuffy in this room but it was better than being eaten alive.
“Anything over 45 proof burns rather well.”
“Mmm molotovs my favorite.” I say earning a snort from Jack.
I wink at her and smile.
“Look, it's better than nothing.” Johns says, glaring at me.
“It was a joke.” I say, lifting my hands up.
I don’t even react as I feel the warm body heat behind me. Johns eyes bouncing to the figure behind me told me who it was.
I don’t know what I did to have the killer of the group be my bodyguard but I would take it.
“How many bottles you got?” Carolyn asks, getting us in order once again.
“I don’t know, maybe ten.”
“Okay.” She says, nodding and looking over at Johns.
“Johns you got some flares.”
“So, maybe we got enough light.” She says, nodding.
“Enough for fucking what?” Johns asks.
“How thick are you? Do you wanna tell him or should I?” I ask, looking at Johns then Carolyn.
She holds her hand up as to tell me to shut up or she has this.
“We stick to the plan. We get the four cells back to the skiff, we’re off this rock.”
“Look I hate to ruin a beautiful theory with an ugly fact.” Paris says standing up.
“But that sand cat is solar. It won't run at night.” He says walking over to Carolyn.
“So we carry the cells. We drag them whatever it takes.”
“You mean tonight with all those things out there?” Jack asks, holding onto her legs rocking back and forth. She was scared but doing a great job of holding it in.
I move to sit next to her wrapping my arms around her.
“It’s better to go now then wait them out. We don’t know how long the eclipse is going to last.” I say gently rubbing her back.
“Alright, how long can this thing last?” Johns asks, making me bite my tongue from starting something with him. That wouldn’t help us survive.
“A few hours? A day tops?” He says, very matter of fact.
I clench my jaw ready to shut up but decide against it.
“Didn’t we have this conversation a few hours ago? These people wouldn’t have left everything they own or the ship for that matter if they only had to deal with these things for a few hours or a day tops.” I say spitting the last word.
“I had the impression from the model the two planets were moving as one and there would be a lasting darkness.” Imam says looking at Johns.
“Thank you.” I say, holding my hand out towards Imam.
“Maybe you can only understand men.” I say earning a glare but he doesn't respond to me.
“Mmm.. These suns gotta come up sometime. And if these creatures are phonic about light then we just sit tight and we let the sun come up.” He says, meeting my gaze, the look on his face like he figured it out.
“Okay, where is the water we are going to drink? Or food or oh yeah we’ll probably freeze because deserts get cold at night time and a few days without sun will most likely kill us. If the lack of water and food doesn't. That’s if I put up with you that long.” I say, clenching my jaw.
“Why you little-.” Johns says starting to stand up.
“Okay enough.” Carolyn says stepping in the middle of the room blocking our line of sight from each other.
“I’m sure somebody else said the same thing, locked inside that coring room.”
“We need to think about everybody now. Especially the kid.” He says pointing at all of us.
“How scared is this poor boy gonna be out there in the dark.”
“Oh don’t you bring him into this.” I say, clenching my jaw and standing up.
“Yeah, don't use him like that.” Carolyn says.
“Like what?” Johns asks, looking disgusted.
“As a smoke screen.” Carolyn says at the same time I speak.
“As a shield.”
“You deal with your own fear.”
“Yeah it’s okay to be scared Johns.”
“Why don’t you shut your fucking mouth for two seconds and let me come up with a plan that dosn’t involve mass suicide.”
“You came up with one. It's sitting here waiting for the lights to go out so those things can eat us.” I say, the sounds of the creatures outside whaling making me take a breath.
Them clearly hearing us.
Breathing the breath out slowly I move to sit back next to Jack, wrapping my arm around her.
“I’m waiting.” Carolyn says, making me smirk.
I may have to change my mind about her after all.
“How much you weigh Johns?”
“What’s it matter Carolyn?”
“How much?” She snaps back.
“Around seventy nine kilos.”
“Because you’re seventy nine kilos of gutless white meat.”
“And that’s why you can’t think of a better plan and you want to use Jack as an excuse.” I say joining in.
“Is that fucking right?” He says jumping up, snatching his gun out as he does.
I don’t flinch.
I watch Riddick stand up stepping in front of him, blocking him from getting to any of us.
“Where are you going?” Johns asks, pressing the barrel of the gun into RIddick’s chin.
I have to stop myself from standing up. The anger I have towards Johns is starting to get to its boiling point. I wanted to hurt him but that would help any of us get out of this.
“This solves nothing.” Imam says, as if he was reading my thoughts.
I watch Riddick smirk, him lifting his goggles and looking over at Johns as the sound of tapping fills the air.
My eyes dropped to the sound seeing a homemade blade right on John’s crotch.
“Okay.” Johns says taking a step and sitting back down.
I couldn’t tell if he was smirking or giving him a fake smile. The look on Johns face creeping me out either way.
My head snaps to the right when Carolyn moves to crouch next to me and Jack.
“They’re afraid of our light. That means we don’t have to be so afraid of them.” She says calmly. Her eyes lifted up to meet mine.
I smile at her then down at Jack.
“You know I will make sure you are safe.” I say, rubbing her back. Jack nods, looking nervous but less scared.
“And you are sure you can get us there? Even in the dark?” Iman asks, looking over at us.
“No I can’t.” She says standing up.
“But he can.” She says looking over at Riddick.
I look up at him, his goggles still off him turning to look over his shoulder at her, the light hitting his face just right to show the silver shine in his eyes.
“That’s the smartest thing you said all day.” I say looking up at her.
She nods and bends down picking up the torch.
“Come on, I have an idea.”
Carolyn leads us back to the entrance of the ship. She uses the torch to shine under the ship in case there are any creatures hiding.
Sticking close together everyone starts to head out following her.
I’m stopped when a large hand grabs my wrist. Looking up over my shoulder I meet the face of Riddick.
Us being swallowed by darkness as the others leave out ahead of us.
“You know not everyone is gonna make it out of here.” He says, his low rubbing voice settling around me. It almost reminds me of the way a cat purrs. Something animal about it.
“Then let's make sure you, me, and Jack are on the list of the ones that do.”
“Is that all you care about?” He asks, sounding like a loaded question which I was trying not to read into.
“Honestly? Yes.”
He smirks, letting go of my wrist and heading towards the door. I stay close to him. The group of us stayed quiet as we walked outside up to the other side of the crashed ship.
“Riddick.” Carolyn whispers it is too risky for us to keep moving forward.
Riddick slides past me, his hand brushing my lower back as he does. I’m shocked by the shiver it shoots up my spine.
He walks to the front of the group, slipping his goggles up to look inside.
“Looks clear.” He calls back.
Johns pushes past me practically shoving me over as he sneaks up next to Riddick, gun in hand. Him having a light on the end of it.
I have to bite my lip to keep from snatching it out of his hand and beating him with it. Thoughts of stabbing him in his sleep enter my mind.
As soon as Johns light shines into the ship a monster comes jumping out towards them screeching.
Riddick drops to the ground, out of the way while Johns jumps to the right landing on his back.
The creature flies over our head away from the light. All of us ducking down. Jack’s grip on my hand tightening.
“You said"clear "." Johns says looking up at Riddick him slightly down a slope.
“I said it looks clear.” Riddick says back, making me smile at the sass.
“Well what’s it look like now?” He asks.
Riddick raises his head taking a quick glance before turning to look back shrugging.
“Looks clear.” He says, making me snort a giggle.
Everyone turned to look at me in a shocked horror.
“I’m sorry that wasn’t meant to be funny, I know.” I say, as Riddick and Johns get up.
Johns casually walked into the ship, everyone following behind. Jack rushed ahead to stay close to Carolyn’s light.
Riddick doesn't move until I reach his side.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to laugh. I think the exhaustion is finally catching up to me.” I say, feeling heat rise up my cheeks.
Riddick doesn't answer him, lifting a hand to grab my chin. I don’t speak as he moves my head to the left and the right, most likely looking at the bruises there.
Taking a shaky breath I let it out as his touch fell from my face, my skin almost burning from where he touched it.
“I thought I smelt blood.” He says, I almost feel like more to himself than me. But he didn’t seem like the type to talk to himself.
“Is my lip bleeding?” I question reaching up to touch my lip.
“Must have been something else.” He says, turning towards the ship, the clicking sound of the creatures starting to grow louder.
“We need to leave.” He says.
I nod following him into the ship.

Imagine being Gojo Satoru's significant other.
Imagine having enough patience to be his childhood friend, classmates and let alone his lover for years. Or maybe you don't have the patience, rather you manage to get used to him and his attitude, the way he treats everybody and anybody throughout the years where you've been by his side.
Imagine being on the same year but instead of being put on the same team as him and the others, you were in tasked on a solo mission just like Geto's s/o but was overseas by the time you were at the jujutsu high. Not that you don't mind being away, but unlike Satoru who can do whatever he wants being the most powerful sorcerer alive. You who was the only descendants of a ruined clan have no choice but to obey unless Satoru stepped in, in which he never does, not because he doesn't care but because you never let him know.
"Awwe how come you always accepted missions overseas?" "Well Satoru, other people needed some aid you know." "But why does it has to be you? It's like the elders have been doing this on purpose." "We-" "Should I just kill them all?" "..." "Just kidding babe. Muah!"
Imagine being the dumb and dumber couple. Always making trouble for the principal when you were together. Going on a days when you both have times and making it always fun and memorable. Being with Satoru was like being in the eye of the storm, whenever you were with him everything was calm and bright, like everything was alright.
"Do you really have to go?" He was pouting like a child you're rather finding him silly than cute. "This job is the most suitable for me" You spoke, caressing his cheeks, looking at those mesmerizing blue eyes underneath those black glasses of his. "Don't worry, I'll be back before you knew it like always. Besides don't you have your own mission to do?" You remind him as he pout once again. "Oh come on you big baby. Stop looking at me like that, I'm not going to change my mind"
Imagine your mission being longer than what you've imagine, plus the danger you've faced was far more worse when you face it. As if someone was trying to get rid of you on purpose by not giving the right details about your mission. Nevertheless you manage to survive, thought attaining a few major and minor injuries, there was nothing that can stop you going back home.
Imagine the confused look on your face. The man right in front of you was the man you've loved the most at the same time he wasn't. He looked and sound the same and yet.. There was something different. He wasn't the only one. Everything seems to have changed. You want to asked him, really. But as soon as you went back to jujutsu high, you were put too focus on your recovery.
"You good?" He sat on the empty chair right beside your bed. "Yeah, just a little bit tired but I'm good." You replied not wanting to worry him. "How about you?" You asked, finally looking at him who was wearing his usual glasses. I heard from Geto that you... That was what you wanted to ask but you hold back. "I'm fine, aren’t I the strongest as ever?" He smirked playfully at you. But wasn't it we that it used to be?
Imagine being in the middle of a mission when you have heard the news about his best friend being wanted as a curse user. The look on your face as you hurried off and went to finish the work so that you could go home and head towards your lover.
Imagine as you burst enter his room, there he was sleeping peacefully, making you sit on his bed side as you watch him breath peacefully, only when times like this does it seems like he was a normal person, a beautiful normal person not the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the history of sorcerers. But you knew that was never the case, reaching out to touch the lost strand of his white clocks on his face, your hand was blocked by an invisible barrier. A bitter smile making its way on your lips.
Imagine as you were about to leave him be for the rest of the night and was about to come back the following day, as you were to retract your hand, you found yourself laying on your side, his arms wrapped around your waist, his front pressing on your back as you can feel his breathing upon your neck.
"You're leaving me again, aren't you?" His voice was emotionless. It almost made you stop breathing for a second. "No. I'm not." You said with a sigh. "I'm staying for the night." You heard him chuckle after that. "Just for the night, heh." You felt his hold tighten around you. "No. I'll stay by your side as long as you like." For the first time in your life, you felt the strongest sorcerer tremble upon holding you as he buried his face upon your neck.
Imagine as times goes by, you learn how to love and adjust this new Satoru. In the first place its not like you stopped loving him and vice versa. It's just this Satoru was a little high wild. And also.
"Who's this kid?" You spoke upon seeing the little boy beside him. "Did- did you kidnapped a child?! OH MY GO-!" "Hey!" He spoke putting you on a headlock and eventually messed with your hair. "Babe stop!" You laugh, pushing him away. "But seriously who is this child?" You spoke once again referring to the kid that was looking at you two with emotionless. Just like that Satoru lean close to your ear and whispered. "He's a Zenin." Enough for you to know what he was referring to. "We're going to be his guardian." "What?" You look at your lover with a flabbergasted look on your face.
Imagine as you two spend the rest of your days together, as the two of you continue to love each other, days where just passing by. You slowly grown to love the child that Satoru have picked up. It was peaceful, though can a little bit of a mess sometimes because of your lover, it was wonderful.
Imagine, as at least you thought, as you were both teacher at the jujutsu high, you can agree at Satoru's decision when it comes to the vessel of Sukuna, Yuji Itadori was a bright young man after all. Though everything was a bit of a hellish mess, everything was fine, until the real tragedy came, the Shibuya Incident.

One thing that's super interesting but very frustrating about NRC is the lack of awareness when it comes to cultural differences.
Of course, you've got the mers in Octivinelle being literal fish out of water when it comes to land customs, but they've adapted extrememly well and know, for the most part, how to behave and act around people they do not know. Of course, this is mostly due to the fact they are a family-friendly mafia inside a college? highschool? Learning establishment.
But there are two things that REALLY hammered home for me that NRC students do not take into account other people’s cultural backgrounds when talking to each other:
Riddle’s attitude at the beginning of Book 1 and
Ruggie’s behavior towards Jack in him Dorm Uniform Vignettes.
Now, I will admit, I'm not far enough in the game to have more, concrete examples, so if y'all have more, add them.
Anyways, with both of these instances in mind: it's obvious within the series that members of dorms are not always from their countries counterparts. Jack and Cater, despite being from Pyroxene/Shaftlands are in Savanaclaw and Heartslaybul respectively. Rook ,despite being from Sunset Savana, was smoothly transferred over to Pomefiore.
To say it's unrealistic for outsider to know about the intricacies and detailed rules of each dorm, even if they're from the same geographical area. Look at Epel. Despite being from Pyroxene, he had no idea Pomefiore was going to be this strict about beauty routines. It's borderline delusional to assume an outsider, who has no fucking idea which house they're going to be sorted into mind you, is going to know every damn thing about your house and the way it operates.
And, even so the school is decently inclusive, there seems to be no wiggle room for cultural differences. Riddle, pre-character arc, fully expected all the students of Heartslaybul to know every, single, goddamn rule before even enrolling because a majority of them are from the Queendom, but this is bullshit thinking because Cater is in the dorm, despite being from Pyroxene.
Now, with Jack, he already knew Savanaclaw is a "survival of the fitness/might makes right" dorm, he knew that going in. But, he also does his best to make sure everyone can survive within the dorms because nature has weaker animals travel in groups (look at rodents and even hyenas). Hell, even fucking lions travel and hunt in groups because they're stronger together and he fucking knows this, and it's the reason he tried being so helpful to Ruggie in the first place. Does he think Ruggie is weak? No he fucking doesn't, he literally just wants to help out. But Ruggie, because he seems to forget Jack is from Pyroxene, forgets that Jack is not out to get him. Yes poverty and fighting for your life changes you as a person, so of course there's a healthy amount of skepticism and paranoia needed. However, Jack has made where he stands morally very clear. To assume he's going to try and swindle someone is insulting to him, plus Jack can't lie for shit.
The lack of understanding for regional differences, let alone entire cultural differences, with the TWST universe is one I find equal parts fascinating and aggravating. If there was more understanding and wiggle room for grace and empathy, there's a chance you'd maybe see someone from the Coral Sea be in Savanaclaw or Pomefiore. Or someone from the Scalding Sands be in Octavinelle. Maybe someone from Sunset Savana could be sorted into Heartslaybul. Maybe see someone from Briar Valley get sorted into Ignihyde or someone from the Isle of Woe get put into Scarabia.
Literally, was is going on in NRC that makes things so whack? Crowley, from the bottom of my dead, iron-deficient heart, what the actual fuck are you doing?

If they had survived, how do you think Eytukan and Tsu'tey would feel about mama Neytiri, it's one thing to mate a dream walker, but to become the spirit parent of a sky person?, and the son of the man that brought down home tree?.
Specially I wonder about Eytukan, I don't remember him being really upset about her mating Jake and I believe he would trust her judgment, but to think of the boy as family?, would he be like OG Neytiri?
I think tsu'tey would like the little one, sorta like he did jake; he learned to love him, especially since his smile was damn near contagious, and he had won the heart of Eywa ever since being introduced to her and her world. he didn't like him at first, but the kid warmed up to him, especially since he was around the kid a lot, it was sorta unavoidable. and could you really blame him, he was small and soft and squishy, he had that bright blonde hair and gummy little grin, bright brown almost golden eyes that warmed the soul of even the darkest creature; it was impossible to not love him. he was like a little drop of son given to The People by Eywa herself.
Eytukan would question the boy and his daughters judgement a little; like you said, this boy was the child of their greatest enemy, but he was still a child. it leaves him with a very complicated feeling on the boy. he doesn't want him as family, feels himself incapable of accepting him on such a level.
but his wife sways him, which is not hard, cause she's in charge (try arguing with her, she'll make you regret it) and she took the child quite quickly.
and if anything will sway him, its how much the child healed his daughter. taking spider in allowed her to heal in a way that was a shock to everyone. sure she wasn't the fondest of human outside of the few that worked side by side with the na'vi, but she didn't hate them, her son allowed her to see both the beauty and the evil humans were capable. it allowed her to move on from the war, to start a new chapter in her life. he was a blessing of The Great Mother with no room for argument, and he couldn't bring himself to feel any ill will towards a child who brought his own child so much peace. (plus the kid taming a pack of viperwolves and a thanator as a small child, was a very clear message from Eywa that the child was Hers and he was to be at the very least respected)
so in time, spider becomes family to the Chief, he worms his way into the heart of the village, and besides some obvious physical features, you couldn't tell the difference between him and his siblings when it came to their place and relation within the village.

Dear disney, if you want to know what your old movies are actually about instead of simply saying the women in them are useless, perhaps read this post here:
Snow White: Disney thinks Snow White is about a woman who needs a prince to come save her. Untrue. The prince doesn't even come into the picture properly until the end. Snow White, in the old Disney film, is actually about a girl in witness protection. She's hiding from a woman who wants to kill her. She's making smart decisions by lying low and making friends with people who the queen certainly won't imagine her step daughter associating with- namely because she's supposed to be a princess and she's also supposed to be dead until the huntsman messes up. She's not useless. She's surviving. You don't have to girl boss her up because she doesn't need to be.
Cinderella: disney also thinks this movie is about a woman being saved by a prince. I would like to remind Disney that the prince doesn't do shit. Cinderella is the one who goes to the ball. Yes, with help, but she is the one who decides to go. she is the one who decides to defy her abuser to go to a prince who is offering her a way out of her horrible home life. Cinderella gets out of the room with help, but Cinderella is the one who decides to go. She doesn't need girl bossing up.
Sleeping Beauty: not much to say here. Sometimes it's okay to be saved by a prince. I still love this film. I love Aurora and how she likes singing and dancing and wandering in the woods because some girls just be like that disney. They don't all need ambition.
The little Mermaid: disney thinks she needs girl bossing up because a prince saves her. In reality, Ariel of her own volition, has the ambition to go above the water. it's not about a prince, she wanted to go before she saw him, but the prince is a bonus too. Plus, he's literally the only way she can stay above water, so yeah, I would turn on the charm too. Ariel is already strong willed and independent. Her voice being taken away doesn't take away from that. If anything, it shows her determination.
Beauty and the Beast: belle doesn't need girl bossed up. She's educated. She's strong willed. She's compassionate enough to see the man beneath the beast and not change him, but remind him of his own humanity. The message here is that there is always more than what the surface shows us.
Aladdin: Jasmine doesn't need saving. They don't even get married in the first film. Jasmine is strong willed, she has a mind of her own and while she is spoiled and doesn't realise what life is like beyond the palace at least she's willing to learn. Her father listens to her. He does. He just wants to protect her. Aladdin in this movie is saving himself, not Jasmine. In this movie Jasmine is already a good character, she doesn't need more adding to her.
Mulan: I don't even need to say anything about Mulan. Mulan is literally a story about self identity and putting your family above yourself. It has only a little to do with gender politics in my opinion. More in the way that being a girl is the main problem. I would say that mulan could have been a bird transformed human and you still would get around the same movie. It's about the self, not the gender. Mulan is finding herself finding the person on the inside also on the outside, finding her confidence and her will to do whatever she needs to in order to help those around her, in the end, being a girl is inconsequential to her. So making the entire film about her being a girl and not her finding her dragon guardian inside of herself was a stupid move. Also the magic stuff was weird.
Old movies don't need feminist agendas. They're about women so they're already feminist movies. The only thing disney is doing is ruining good movies with horrible extras and taking away what made them good to begin with. They don't even understand the structure anymore. The magic is gone. The characters aren't driven like they were in their heyday and it's sad.
Disney is a monster.

After speaking, they left the room.
Your Pov :
I started to look at my mother She cried and hugged me tight, I feel weak, can't do anything, just lay in the hospital waiting to die.
" mom, don't cry.. I'm still here hehe.. "
I hugged my mother with a smile.
" My dear. I just-.. *sob* just feel unfair. "
Her words hurt my heart again.
" Can you at least smile at me? I want to see your smile again! "
" I-I will try.. "
She smiled at me as her tears fell. She kissed my forehead and left the room. She left two lilies on the flower jar. I hold 1 Lilly and look at it .
" I wish someone could help me be normal again, I don't want to be a weakling .. It's so alone.. I want to be free and be myself again.. "
I mumbled and stare at a lily. Later, an unknown door opened. I saw a mysterious figure in a cloak with stars on they face. They walked up to me and touched my forehead. I feel very warm and relaxed.. Unconsciously, my eyes began to close.
" Wake up , Weakling "
I heard a strange sound calling my name. I feel very dizzy.. but try to focus around.. Just a moment! Where am I?!!!
" Ah, you're finally awake "
"Excuse me, where am I? Who are you? So what am I doing here?? "
I have a lot of questions in my head. but don't want to ask-
" You're in my realm, I'm The Maker "
" The Maker?.. Hmm "
" You don't need to know much about me, weakling "
" Alright ! But can you tell me what I'm doing here?? "
I asked Them to know his answer.
" You should calm down. You're here because I have a job for you. "
They spoke and looked down at me.
" a job? for me? I'm only a child not even older. "
I mumbled and glance at him.
" Easy work, don't worry, you will become sane grunt, But the incurable disease remains with you. "
They began to go down on my level. he smirk about how short I was.
" Uhm.. Can you tell me what incurable disease means? "
They stunned at my word, like somethings very wrong about it?
" Didn't that doc tell you?"
I stare at they and shook my head.
" Hmm. Incurable disease in this sense is 'Ice blood' You will feel cold all the time and have a weak body. But I wonder why you can survive longer than normal grunt.. because the disease can only kill people in 2 days. "
They stare at me and pat me like I'm a little puppy.
"But it can also make grunt around you relaxed and calm, you know? "
They began to carry me and floating up, I see many stars on the sky It so beautiful.. I never seen this before..
" Well the job is live as sane grunt and make grunt around you calm . "
They closed my eyes and send me somewhere.. Will I able to be warm like that again?
- Present Time -
Somewhere at Nevada
Your POV : It been long time that I Live in Nevada and still not die yet-Many people died from the three criminals by joining the AAHW. But good for me I don't join the AAHW things.. Because I have a weak body plus Fighting is not for me, remember the job that the maker told me? yes ' live as sane grunt and make grunts around me calm. ' I rarely to show up on the public or many place, so many people don't recognize me.
Let get back to the point.. I'm sitting with a friend named.. ' Hank J. Wimbleton ' I know he's crazy person but he not attacking me and asking me for being his pal. I feel so curious right now- I decided to whisper to him.
" hey! how was your day "
Hank turn to me, damn he look so scary too.
" Good. "
" that's a great, I will go now we can hangout tomorrow ! "
I nervous about his answer would be..
" can I follow you. "
Yes, Like I thought he would said that
" no no! hank.. I want to have my personally space too- "
" You know that, you can't stop me. "
" If you follow me, I will not let you hangout tomorrow. "
I sigh and hug him before walking away, he stunned about 5 minutes and wave back at me.
walking away from him is not really good choice but I will let him choose about follow me or go back to his place. I walking back to my house that look like abandoned house, of course.. I made my house look sinister so nobody will enter my house while I'm resting :)
I opened the door, inside my house clean don't even have trash on the table or on the floor. I walked up to the second floor. there only have a bed for one grunt, I changed my clothes and took off the scarf and hat. another day of life , another day of memories .
" Don't worry about your life time, [ Y/N ] . "
" You are their weakness, you know? "
(( hello! this is my first time that writing this stuff if there have some mistake . I'm apologies! TvTT

Breathe, you idiot, breathe!
Lexi Weston took her own good advice, and sucked in a deep breath. And then another...
...and another...
...until she lost the dizzy feeling that had begun when she looked at the stick in her hands.
The little pink plus sign had been revealed after a 3 minute wait, tearing away the last of the denial she'd been living in for the past three days. Three days ago, she’d realized she was late, and the only other time she’d been late was two years ago - the last time the stick had turned pink.
When she realized she was late again, the fear had set in, and she’d spent three days denying it, telling herself it was just because she was getting older; she was thirty six, after all, it wouldn’t be impossible for her periods to start getting a bit irregular as she aged. So, she’d pushed the fear out of the way, sure that any day now, her period would start and she could breathe a sigh of relief.
But as the days wore on and there was no sign of her period, she began to do the math and realized that the timing lined up perfectly. It exactly matched the only time in the last six or seven months that Simon had come home, late as always, but for once, not too drunk to fumble at her in the dark, climbing on top of her, thrusting pathetically and coming in record time. Not that she ever complained about his speed. The faster he was done, the better.
Staring at the stick now, she could no longer deny that his drunken orgasm that night had resulted in a baby. She clutched the stick tightly, not sure what her next move should be.
Burn the stick, fool! Don’t let him see it! Her mind chanted at her.
The thought jolted her body into action and she ran to the woodstove in the kitchen. It burned all the time now, since the electricity had been cut off. Simon claimed he’d done it on purpose because he didn’t want to give his money away to government and corporate people who just wanted to control them. But Lexi knew he just never paid the bill.
So, the woodstove was how she cooked them dinner, and all they had to heat up the tiny cabin. She started to stoke the fire, ready to toss in the evidence, but then she paused.
Right now Simon was outside, ostensibly fishing for their dinner in the nearby stream, but she knew he was just drinking and would very likely come home with nothing. Her fear was that burning plastic often gave off a strange smell, and she didn’t want to take the risk of him coming in just as she was burning it, asking about the smell.
So, instead, she ran quickly to their tiny bedroom in the small, three room cabin where they lived. Her husband had built the thing himself, or so he’d told her. But she highly suspected that “building it himself” meant he and his buddies got drunk and played with power tools.
The cabin wasn’t insulated at all and quite often the wind whistled in through the chinks in the walls. The walls also weren’t straight and two of the “windows” were just cut out holes with tarps covering them. The floor was just sheets of plywood that Simon constantly said he’d finish, but never did.
Before they were married in Missouri, he’d told her that his parents had left him a plot of land in Montana and that he’d built a “homey and beautiful” cabin on it. So when they’d come to live here, leaving behind her few friends and what little family she had left, she’d been expecting to start a whole new, exciting life with her industrious husband. He'd told her he was a carpenter and made a decent living in the trade.
That had been one of his first lies. A lie which she’d begun to suspect when she saw the cabin for the first time; she’d been shocked at the shabby, unfinished appearance of her new home.  That was back, early in their relationship, when he still had the power to shock her, but nowadays nothing he did surprised her. Every harsh word, every lie, every bruising smack with the back of his hand, was expected.
She also knew just what would happen if she told him she was pregnant - exactly what had happened last time, which was why she couldn’t tell him. And why she needed to hide the pregnancy test away until she figured out what to do.
There was a small square of plywood in the corner of their bedroom floor, separated from the rest, a piece that had obviously been shoved in place to fill a hole, but it had never been nailed down, so Lexi could lift it up and hide things inside.
What she chose to hide was an old shoe box with keepsakes she’d collected, things she couldn’t bear to toss into the woodstove, but that she also never wanted Simon to find.
These keepsakes included a ticket stub from a movie she’d snuck into town to see one weekend when Simon went away fishing with his buddies; a pressed flower she’d bought herself one time at the grocery store; a sonogram, and now a white stick with a pink plus sign.
As she set the stick inside she noticed the white business card with black lettering that she’d stuck inside the box about six weeks ago, and as though a puzzle piece suddenly slid into place, she knew exactly what to do.
But she didn’t know if she could actually go through with it. The idea of doing it made her heart beat out of her chest and made her feel like she was going to be sick.
Looking at the card, the Sheriff’s incredibly handsome face swam into her mind’s eye once again, as it had quite often since the day he’d offered her his help. This time though, his deep voice and the words he’d used to try and persuade her, came too.
“I’ll keep you safe, Lexi, I swear.”
Could he really? Was it possible?
It didn’t feel like it was. Simon had told her repeatedly that if she ever tried to leave him, he’d kill her and she knew it wasn’t hyperbole, he wasn’t exaggerating. If she stood up, he’d knock her back down, if she wounded his pride and made him look like a fool by walking out on him, he’d end her.
But this wasn’t just about her anymore. She looked down at the Sheriff’s card, and put her hand over her still flat, somewhat emaciated stomach. She couldn’t let him do it again.
***
Her chance to call the Sheriff came much sooner than she’d expected. Just two days later, Simon was up early, which was incredibly rare and usually meant he’d found a cash job for the day.
As she set his coffee in front of him, Lexi felt her stomach clench in anticipation.
“So, do you have a job this morning?” she asked.
Simon barely looked up from his phone. “No, I’m awake at seven in the morning for my fucking health.”
She nodded. “What’s the job?”
That made him look at her finally, disgust radiating from him. “Why are you fucking nagging at me?”
“Sorry.” Lexi said quickly. “I didn’t mean to nag. I was just curious.”
Frowning, Simon went back to scrolling his phone. “Yeah, well you know what curiosity did to the cat, so save your questions.”
Lexi was quiet another ten minutes, only speaking again as Simon stood to get his coat. “Are you working with Dixon?”
“Yep” was his only response.
“So, when do you think you’ll be home?”
He turned back to her and yanked her forward with a death grip on her upper arm. “Why are you asking me all these questions?” He was immediately suspicious, but Lexi had known that would be his likely reaction, so she was prepared.
“I’m sorry, I was just trying to surprise you. I wanted to make some chicken and dumplings for you this evening, I know it's your favorite and you're up so early and working so hard for us, so I wanted to do something nice for you. And I was was just wondering what time to start it."
Simon’s frown eased and he let go of her arm. “Well, I never know when I’m working with Dixon do I? Cause I don’t know the job till I get there. So, I can’t very well tell you what time I’m off, when I don’t know yet myself. Can I?”
Lexi just shook her head.
He gave her a patronizing smile and a pat on the cheek. “We know you aren’t what they’d call bright, but for god’s sake, use a little common sense. Save me answering these stupid fucking questions and making me late.”
With that he sailed out the door, and a few minutes later she heard his truck start up and pull out of the gravel drive. She waited a full thirty minutes to make sure he wasn’t gonna circle back to grab something he forgot, before running to the box and pulling out the Sheriff’s card.
She sat on her knees on the floor in the corner for another twenty minutes, knowing that if she did this there would be no going back. Simon checked her little burner phone every night, and he knew exactly how many minutes she had left on her prepaid phone card, and if there were minutes unaccounted for, he’d demand an explanation. She’d learned the hard way to ask for permission before making calls.
She was beyond terrified, but she knew she had to try. She couldn’t let him do it again.

"Okay, so we're agreed then, it's Legends of the Fall  tonight?" Jenny asked, as Beau ambled back into his office, apparently having decided with Cassie, what their movie was going to be for this Friday night.
"Uh, excuse me, you guys have picked the movie the last two times by ganging up and ‘out-voting’ me, which means that the last two weeks I’ve had to sit through two Brad Pitt movies, I am NOT sitting through a third!”
Jenny scoffed. “The movies were Fight Club and Snatch, and you loved both of them, don’t deny it.”
Beau opened his mouth to do just that, but then crossed his arms over his chest, legs in a wide stance. “Fine, those ones were….good.” Catching the girls’ expressions, he conceded. “Okay! They were great. But, I know Legends of the Fall is some kind of epic, frilly lace, historical romance movie.”
Cassie chuckled. “Hey, the whole thing is set in Montana, it’s practically required viewing for folks around here!”
Jenny snorted. “Yeah, even though a bunch of it was filmed in Canada.”
Cassie continued, attempting to cajole Beau into capitulation. “Seriously though, it’s got war and cowboys, and pretty ladies.” She patted him on the arm as she grabbed up her jacket to go. “Boys can like it too.”
Beau shot her an unimpressed look as his phone buzzed on his desk. He held up a finger as he picked it up. “This conversation isn’t over.”
He pressed the green answer button. “Arlen.”
There was no answer on the other end, only a buzzing, static noise with the occasional soft breath.
“Hello?” He tried again, but the line went almost immediately dead.
He pulled the phone away to see if it gave a number, but it was an unknown caller. He frowned and shrugged. Probably a wrong number.
He was about to start back in on the movie choice, when the phone buzzed again. He looked at the caller ID this time, but it was once again an unknown caller.
He answered the phone and gave his full name and title this time, thinking that maybe his brusque way of answering the last time had confused the caller.
“Hello, this is Sheriff Beau Arlen. What can I do for you?”
But again there was only silence, except the buzzing of a bad connection, and soft breathing, breathing that sounded more rapid this time, and a bit louder.
“Hello? Who’s calling?” He asked, but there was no response. By this time, both Cassie and Jenny were watching him on the phone, with interest.
Beau pulled the phone away from his ear again, to make sure there was still a connection, but the call had not dropped.
“Hello?” He said again, a bit louder.  This time, he heard a faint, tinny voice, but he’d missed what they said.
“I’m sorry, say again?”
“Help.”
That one word, when he finally heard it, made his heart leap. It was so small, but so very desperate and full of terror.
“Please, help.”
He stood up straight, completely focused. “Okay, I can help you. Who is this?” As he asked the question, though, something told him he already knew who it was.
“Le-Lexi Weston.”
He closed his eyes, relieved that she’d finally reached out, but then immediately scared for her. “Okay, Lexi, of course I’ll help you.”
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Cassie and Jenny start calling in the officers and deputies that were in the station. They both knew how much he’d worried about Lexi Weston over the last six weeks since he’d met her, so they knew if she was calling now, they were likely to need all hands on deck.
“What do you need, Lexi? Are you hurt?” He asked, afraid to hear the answer.
“No. No, I’m…I’m okay.”
Her voice was so quiet. “Is he there, darlin’? Can he hear you?”
“No, he’s gone. But I don’t know for how long. He’s working with his friend, and sometimes they’re gone a few hours and sometimes it’s not even a whole hour. And he…he left almost an hour ago now. So, please come quickly.”
Beau was nodding and gave a signal for everyone to move out. Going with him were, the girls, Poppernak, and four other deputies. He hoped it would be enough to get Lexi safely out of the house.
“You at home now, Lexi?” He confirmed.
“Yes. Do you know our address?”
He nodded. “Yep, got it from the file.”
He left out the fact that he’d also tried to casually drive by the place a couple times. What he was looking for he didn’t know. The house was set far enough back from the road that he hadn’t been able to really see anything. But he’d just been very worried about the terrified woman he’d met so briefly, and he was hoping for some kind of reassurance that she was still alright.
He hadn’t received any such reassurance from his two stealthy drive-bys.
But now they were on the way to get her free of that asshole she was married to.
“Okay,” Lexi said now, “Just be careful when you come. He might be....I mean, if he's back by then…he’s…he’s got guns.”
Beau chuckled darkly as he jumped in his big red truck and started it up with a roar from the engine. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. We’ve got guns too. And we’re coming right now.”

Hi i would like to make a request if i can for a loki x plus!size reader. Where the reader confesses her love to loki and loki say's something really mean to the reader and just walks away. He only said that to her because he doesn't know how to react but loki explains to the reader why because he thinks he is a monster that doesn't deserve love but the reader tells him that he dose and he is not a monster
Hi! Thanks for the request! This is a great idea, been wanting to write angst for a while
Why you gotta be so rude? | Plus Size!Reader x Loki
Summary: You confess your feelings for Loki, but his reaction isn't what you expected
Cw: Angst, heartbreak, Loki being rude, rude comments on reader's body, gender neutral reader, minor violence, fluff at the end, good ending
Tumblr media
It wasn't a lie no one that Loki had some terrible things, the invasion in New York was only one of them, and he was already paying for it, having been forced to join The Avengers to help them and "redeem" himself
What he didn't expect was to meet you
An incredibly powerful mutant, heavy skills in combat and really powerful magic
He knew he was down bad
But he knew that he didn't deserve you, he wasn't deserving of love, from anyone
Never from you
So when it came the time, after almost a year of knowing each other and going on missions together, you finally confessed
Sure, you were on the bigger side of body type, but you were pretty damn confident and knew how to show it off and got everything you wanted
But with Loki, it went a different way
"Loki... Can we talk?"
He nodded, guiding you to a sofa so you could talk calmly
"What is it dear?" He answered you
Those emeralds staring at you made you even more nervous, but you wanted to tell him how you felt
"Loki I... I..." You sighed after taking a deep breath "I'm in love with you... I've been for a while and I... I think we could be something beautiful if you gave me a chance..."
Loki stood up abruptly, giving his back to you, panic set in you at his lack of words
"Loki...?" You said lowly
He scoffed "You... And me...?"
That took you back, his tone was laces with violence and cockiness
"You and me..." He said now looking at you, a cold laugh made you shiver "In what universe do you think us could be a beautiful thing?" He mocked you, you felt tears stinging your eyes
"Why... Why are you being so rude?"
"Don't you see it?!" He grabbed your arm, jerking you up aggressively "Look at you! You're imperfect, flawed!" He almost yelled at you "I am a God you puny midgardian! I deserve not less than a goddess, but you, you'll never be that!" He spat at you
Tears were flowing down your cheeks, you had never seen him this mad, his grip on your arm was like steel and it was hurting you
"Let me go..." You said in a whisper
When he didn't budge you said it again, but he just continued to stare at you, so you had to use violence
In a gust on magic you made him fly away from you, hitting the wall shattering it with a huge impact
"Don't you ever come near me again Loki!" You yelled at him, hitting him with another magical burst "You're an awful person! I never expected you to say such things to me!" With that you ran away, Tony and Thor entered the room, seeing the commotion you just teleported away
Loki had never been so hurt, physically and emotionally...
Days later...
You had gone far away from the tower, Loki had hurt you so bad you couldn't stand to be inches near him, no one knew where you were, not that anyone cared, you had been alone most of your life so being alone now wasn't new... But the heartbreak was new...
Yes you had had people say no to you, but never so cruelly
You hadn't eaten it days, being too self conscious of your own weight, a simple spell to make your metabolism survive without food was all you needed
"Why you gotta me so rude...?" You asked to the air, you were in an abandoned building, in who knows what country, you just wanted to be away from everyone
What you didn't expect was the man that broke your heart to be here, how did he find you? How did he know where you were?
"What are you doing here?"
You hear him sigh "I... I didn't mean what I said..."
You scoffed "Yeah right, you said it with such passion it could never be a lie..."
"Y/n... Listen I... I know that nothing fixes what I said and how I made you feel... But..." He sat down to him "I don't feel like a god anymore... I feel like a... Monster... Everything I've done in my life has been... Trick people, kill, lie... Stab my brother... Multiple times..." You almost laughed at that, but remained silent "And hurt you was my biggest mistake... Look I... I'm in love with you too... So so in love that it hurts, I don't know why I said all of that... Something in me just didn't want to believe it and... And I snapped... Nothing of what I said it's what I think of you, I think you're beautiful and so so powerful and capable of anything, I'm so sorry Y/n... I'll understand if you never wanna see me again... But you are missed at the tower..." He finished his speech, you didn't know how to respond so you just reacted
You placed your head on his shoulder, taking a deep breath and a sigh, feeling a little bit of relief wash over you
"Thank you..." Was all you said as you smiled, looking up at him, his eyes shun at you
"Am I forgiven then?"
You nodded, he leaned in to kiss you, which you gladly accepted
"I don't think you're a monster Loki... You're awesome and I think you can be kind when you want to..."
He shyly smiled, kissing you again "Thank you love..."

My Princess Peach headcanon's
༺Peach༻🌄
Peach is a bit of an artist, and loves to paint, I like to think she makes the paintings in her castle. So sometimes she’ll grab Toad or one of the Mario brothers to be the subject of her paintings, Toad has been doing this for years, so has grown quite fond of it (he once asked her to paint him very muscular as a joke, now that painting lives above his fireplace at home, it’s his pride and joy, of course next too the very first painting she made of him when they where just kids).
Mario finds it flattering but can’t sit still doing nothing for too long, it drives him mad, so he often takes a few reference photos and sends them to Peach.
Luigi is all for it, he likes to dress in different outfits for it, it makes them feel better about themselves, Peach proudly shows off one of them in her throne room, it’s Luigi with a beautiful Blue Sun dress on, in the middle of a field, sat amongst the grass and flowers.
She loves to bake with Luigi, they teach each over new recipes, decorate cakes for her parties together. Luigi is basically her unofficial food taster at this point, he’s personally cooked for her a few times now, and Peach insists on hiring him as her personal chef, She’s jealous he and Mario get to eat like this every day.
Luigi and her are close, he is learning all the responsibilities she takes on, so that he could take on the role of an ambassador of sorts, he wants to help her out since she always overworks herself, and could use the extra help, plus he could keep the kingdom running smoothly when she’s kidnapped again.
They also read books together, preferably action or romance, so if something happens to one of their favourite characters, they call each over, going:“they just killed (character)”, “they did not!”, “girl I’m not lying, turn to page 312, swear to glob” .
Mario is a massive sweetheart, so if she’s sick he’ll run over to her castle with soup in one hand and Luigi in the other (by the ankle) Luigi finishes off the rest of her work, while Mario tends to the Princess, putting on her favourite movies, while tying her hair back to keep it out of her face.
Although she hates being sick, she loves how attentive Mario gets, and takes full opportunity to snuggle up to him on her bed wrapped in many, many blankets.
She tends to not let her anger get the better of her on the rare occasion someone manages to push all of her buttons. So she has a private gym to punch out her emotions, and scream, it’s so she can be as loud and as violent as she wants. Lost a few good punching bags that way. It's also less hastle then activating the obstacle course all over again.
She was trained from a young age, and although she may look small and dainty to the untrained person, or one that doesn't know her well. But she is very capable of protecting herself, she knows how to pick locks, untie ropes, pleanty of survival training and first aid.
She knits and crochets in her spare time, making jumpers and blankets for the homeless or people in need, she of course has programs set up to help out her people, and they are very successful, but she also knows donations are important, especially after hearing the Mario brothers experience being in those programs and eventually being in the system as well.
Mario and Luigi help out, Mario loves carpentry so will make toys and puzzles for the kids, Luigi makes stuffed toys and regular day clothes, they both make large amounts of food to donate, and discount their plumbing services for the people in the programs (yes they set their plumbing business back up).
Luigi also volunteers to teach the kids on some days, Mario occasionally joining him when he has the time. Peach funds all of it, making sure they have the right materials, and food, and will always insist on taking food home.
When Bowser is more casual with Peach he’s actually alright, he never try’s to harm her anyways, when he’s really busy she takes on babysitting the kids, as she does enjoy her time with them, but prefers that they just call her Peach, she enjoys having them around, playing video games with them, listening to Ludwig’s music, letting Wendy do her makeup, drawing with Jr, playing with Lemmy. They all have a special place in her heart.
Princess Peach can speak many languages, she was thought it would be much more convenient if she learnt the languages herself instead of having a translated when talking with other kingdoms that did not use English, or even words sometimes.
Peaches Dad, King Toadstool, is still around, but is very ill so he can’t do much for his kingdom anymore, as even getting out of his bed is a very strenuous process for him. This is why Peach is still a Princess and not a Queen, in title anyways, but she has taken on the role of Queen.
Peach loves her father dearly so she had computer monitors installed on his wall, so he can still watch over his people in one way, and watch her and her friends have fun. The cameras are in the more populated areas, such as the stadium, in toad towns market street, and the throne room, but only looks at that if he has the express permission of his daughter, as she has meetings in their and he does not want to intrude.
Often enough when Peach is kidnapped or missing and it was one of the more covert missions, he is the first too notice and report it to the Bros. He loves the Mario brothers, for not only helping out and saving his kingdom multiple times, but also being their for his daughter in her time of need, he has given Mario his blessing to Marry Peach, as he has seen their interactions together and knows all too well that they pine for each over.
Peach will visit his room every day at lunch time and eat with him, sometimes she brings the others, most of the time she’s on her own, Toadworth also visits him a lot which brings her comfort, knowing that his best friend is still around to talk to him.
( MTF Peach headcanon) Peaches mother died in childbirth, which devastated the King and the Kingdom so she was a lovely woman and an even better Queen.
This however did not stop the King from raising his child to the best of his abilities, along with his best friend, and co-parent, Toadsworth, so when they learned that the little Prince, wanted instead to be a little Princess, they did all they could for her, they had their best mages research ways to help her out with her transition, which was mostly made up with permanent spells.
Still he was glad that his daughter was happy, but know even more worried to the fact that he didn’t know where to begin in teaching her how to do stuff girls do, so he scheduled play dates with Princess Daisy, and even had Queen Bean help out, and Toadworth took on teaching her the more well, royal boring side of it.
And how did Peach come up with her name? Actually her father did, she still wanted her father to name her, so he went with Peach, it described her perfectly, fair, delicate, sweet, pink, and her mother favourite fruit.
He looks at the woman that Peach has become and can’t help but cry a little, she is almost the spitting image of her mother, sweet and caring, a long with his determined attitude, he couldn’t be more proud of the wonderful young Lady his previous Peach has become, and believes no doubt, that her mother is watching over her, and is no less proud than he is.

Sure thing !
After a nice meal (it's weird to be eating human food after centuries of eating only human flesh... The differents tastes and texture were both amazing and horrible) and a good night sleep (not being nocturnal anymore and actually needing sleep is very... Perturbing.)
Luckily, their weirdness can be explained by surviving a very traumatic event... (The story was a lie but they still live some quite traumatic).
The next morning, some slayers comes to the butterfly mansion talking to each other with confusion. Douma, Gyokko and Enmu, whom were a three together running around and playing happily, stop to listen to the new comers...
"That was so weird...!" "I know right ?!" "Last night, no demons. And we weren't the only one with no demons to hunt ! Should we be worried ?" "I have no idea... But we have to tell Kochou-sama !" "Yes yes...!"
The three boy stay quiet, looking at each other, blinking stupidly... HUUUUHHH ?! No demon !? How's that po... Ssible. Muzan's... Is a human now. He was changed into a human. Or more like... His body, and so his cells, reverted back in time ! Oh. My. God !
They rush to their assigned room to deliver the message. Everyone was shocked to say the least... But in the end, it made sense. But now, what were they supposed to do ? And what would the slayer do to ?
For now, they decided to stay together (without Hakuji choice), to continue the lie. They do need to grow up after all, well... For the ones who needs to.
Nakime want to become a geisha, but she will wait for everyone to settle before do so.
Hantengu just want to live peacefully with his children and watch them grow up into fine men.
Hakuji will open a dojo and help any unfortunate persons he finds, he swears it on his life. He can maybe create an orphanage and also help woman in distress... Yeah, that sound nice.
Gyokko is going to become an artist, obliviously. And he's going to start now ! He's missing making beautiful art.
Enmu wanna become a train conductor... And now he actually can ! He's really happy to not be forced to do something he didn't wanted to do. He can also collect little knick-knacks like he always wanted to to ! Oh yes ! Specially tea sets, those are his favourites !
Daki likes the idea of becoming a geisha too. She doesn't wanna become a prostitute again... She never liked it anyway.
Gyutaro doesn't know, but he knows he want his sister happy, and she likes pretty things (him too but shush), so he will make many pretty things for her to wear !
Douma is confused... He doesn't have his cult anymore. Should he create it again ?... For now, he will wait.
Koku will train to become stronger. But some how... That goal seems... Wrong. But he doesn't know what else to do so...
Mukago want to take care of slik moth and make nice clothes ! She absolutely adores moths, they're her favourite animal of all time, plus, she be able to do the same job as he nii-san, tou-san and ka-san...
Wakuraba like the idea to heal people, so maybe he could find a medicine that could heal Muzan ! He's going to ask Kochou-san to teach him later. But he isn't going to ask Enmu any help, he's a really bad doctor...
Rokuro just wanna do pottery, he always loved to play with mud and create stuff with it, so he's going to do just that.
Kamanue honestly didn't know what he should do... Wood cutting seems nice, he could even make nice little things with the wood he will cut. Mh...
Then, Muzan and Rui...
They just wanna live...
(They seem to bound over their sick that will one day takes their live very soon.)
A few days later... And it is confirmed. There's no more demons. To the confusion of all the slayers.
But Kagaya wonder...
While the confusion and panic of slayer continue, the former kizuki are actually enjoying their new life ! Even Muzan and Rui are starting to get a tiny slightly bit better, but they are overjoyed about it.
But they wouldn't dare hope.
Then suddenly, they are asked in a hashira meeting by the master ?! Everyone stressed, but Kochou reassure them. They are going to be fine, they aren't so sure but don't say anything.
(i promise you, next one, there will be more Giyu action ! ;-;)
Omg this has me reeling avtually I’m so super intrigued like
My poor Daki and gyutaro they’re my favourite demons (clearly) and they should not have been restricted to the reds lights district MUZAN
Omg her getting to meet Shinobu and Mitsuri, and all the girls at the butterfly mansion LET HER HAVE FRIENDS the two can learn to not be codependent
(They mean a lot to me lmao)

He Used To Be Mine - Part 13
He Gets Hurt (But He Learns How To Toughen Up)
(In case you were wondering, my brain decided to make things worse by writing the part immediatley BEFORE the last one I posted. Because I'm deficient like that.
If you want the part after this, go HERE. Otherwise, you can find the first four parts of this saga on AO3)
.....
Rating: T Characters: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins Characters Mentioned: The Bloodline, Triple H Pairing: Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens Tags: Concussion, Injury, Angst, Inner Monologue, Missing Scene Word Count: 4128 Kevin lost. He lost hard. So did Sami, in a way.
But also, in Sami losing, he gained something wonderful in return. His fire. His fury. All the fierce and righteous rage that Kevin had found so beautiful in Sami for so long. And as he and Sami navigate the night and morning after the PLE, Kevin is relishing that fire and their renewed closeness.
If only his mind wasn't a fucking sieve from the concussion...
(Story behind cut)
..........
Sami Uso was no more.
That was if he ever really was, to begin with.
And as Kevin joined Sami in the trainers' room to be looked over, there were no words spoken between them. There were no words that could even compare to what just happened.
Plus, between Sami getting spiked in the throat and the pounding in Kevin’s head that made it impossible to hear anything besides the blood rushing through his swollen brain, communication would have been pointless anyway.
Neither one of them was willing to go to the hospital though.  It wasn’t what they needed. Not really.
Well, it was what they needed physically. God knew they needed medical attention beyond what the backstage trainers could offer. Sami had been pummeled into oblivion with a chair and Kevin knew full well he was concussed. They’d both had the piss beaten out of them, battered within an inch of their lives. But spending however long in a hospital bed could never heal the true wounds.
Those could only be healed by each other.
So when they finally signed their “against medical advice” waivers and left the trainers’ room, there was no question of what came next.
If there was any volume to Kevin’s voice as he spoke, he couldn’t hear it himself.
“Stay with me tonight.”
Sami seemed to understand anyway, nodding silently.
It wasn’t like Sami had any other option. Every hotel in the area had been booked that weekend for months and, well, it went without saying that Sami Zayn had been suddenly left without a safe place to spend the night. Where they stood on things, where they had found themselves after everything would come later. There were more important things to deal with.
Like making sure they both survived the night.
Kevin knew he’d be fine. All jokes about being hard-headed aside, it wasn’t his first concussion. He knew what to do on his own to deal with it. The rest of his body hurt like hell too and somewhere in his rattled brain he suspected the match had taken at least a year off the lifespan of his career, but that was a problem for future KO to deal with.
Current KO, at that moment, had to deal with more pressing matters. Like protecting Sami Zayn.
Sure, he was in no shape to do so, but he wasn’t restrained any longer. He’d use his own body as a shield if he had to. He wasn’t going to let those assholes hurt Sami anymore.
He took Sami by the wrist, limping through the hallways to the main locker room. It was lucky for everyone that the ringing in his ears made it impossible to hear any whispers that people might be sharing as they passed by. He didn’t need to know what they thought, and they didn’t want him to know what they were saying. He’d gotten his bell rung and his body broken but he wasn’t dead yet; he could still hurt people.
The Bloodline didn’t bother them in the locker room. Why would they? They thought they were so much better than everyone else on every day that ended in Y, relaxing in their posh dressing room with the fancy furniture and shit. Why would they trifle with common folk? Besides, they had time and numbers on their side. Roman was a snake, all he had to do was wait for them to return, whenever that was, and he’d sic his pack of dogs on them both. It was two against four and even Kevin had to admit those were pretty shitty odds.
Then again, they were the best wrestlers in the world, they wouldn’t go down without a fight. Probably still go down though. If he didn’t stand a chance against Roman in GOD Mode, then Sami sure as hell wouldn’t. No, they were going to spend the immediate future getting the shit kicked out of them until Roman got bored and moved on to the next body for the pile.
Kevin’s chest tightened at the thought of Sami’s body joining his on that stack but Kevin was choosing to believe he wouldn’t be stupid enough to try and face his former “family” alone.
He probably was. He was Sami Zayn after all. Reason had never been his strong suit.
Sami stood nearby as he changed out of his ring gear, hovering over him protectively like a hawk, his eyes scanning around the room looking for threats. It made Kevin sad to see. Not the sight of Sami’s fierce nature returned, but the knowledge that he’d forget the sight of it. Kevin stared at Sami, trying to commit the sight to memory, but he could feel it slipping through his mind every time he looked away.
Stupid concussion.
He finished by pulling his SAMI ZAYN FORE❤ER shirt over his head. Kevin loved the article so much, the perfect shirt born of an imperfect situation. Sure, the match had been fun to watch, but the lot of them were far below Sami’s caliber of opponent. Johnny Knoxville and his Jackasses could all suck his dick, Sami was the true Forever.
He always had been.
And, as he stood back up, he couldn’t help but notice the look Sami gave his shirt. The faintest of smiles crossed Kevin’s face as Sami reached out, his fingers brushing against the lettering almost in awe. For a moment, Sami’s eyes met his own and Kevin saw more emotions there than he could have possibly registered. So many emotions, all of which were circling back to the same point.
Pain.
It was fitting, naturally. He was in pain. Sami was in pain. It was just more pain to add to the mix.
But again, they said nothing.
Sami didn’t even bother trying to recover his stuff. He’d left it with The Bloodline and going after it was a non-starter, he wasn’t getting it back from them. It had probably already been shredded, smashed, or thrown in the nearest dumpster or body of water. They’d probably keep his phone though. There were uses for a cell phone beyond the original user. If they didn’t just want to sell it Roman could use it against them once they got into it.
They could if they wanted to. Sami had never been the best on security and Kevin was sure Roman had the connections to hack past a lock screen. If he didn’t already know the passcode.
Sami had always been way too fucking trusting.
People were watching him. Watching and whispering.
It was probably a good thing he couldn’t hear them. Also that he’d probably forget them doing so once his brain unfucked itself.
Stupid concussion.
Becky Lynch drove them back to the hotel. Sami wasn’t in the right frame of mind to drive, and Kevin couldn’t operate a car in his state if he wanted to. He didn’t ask her to but, somehow, yet again, Becky was there to rescue them and get them where they needed to be.
She was good for that.
When they got to the hotel, Becky didn’t leave them. Not yet. He’d no sooner gotten out of the vehicle than she was propping him up the best she could. It made him feel bad, to do that to her, but his knees were crap enough that he could barely get through the lobby and Sami’s back was too messed up to support them both. Somehow, Seth Rollins showed up and ducked under his other shoulder.
It was confusing. When had he shown up? Was he in the car with them? He hadn’t noticed. Or maybe he had and just forgot.
Kevin tried not to think about why the hell Seth would do that.
Probably for Becky.
Certainly not for him.
When the four of them got to his hotel room, Seth held out his hand for the keycard. He gave it to Becky instead. Opening the door for them both, she helped them inside, putting his stuff on the luggage rack as Seth guided Kevin to the bed.
Becky asked him if he was ok. He wasn’t. Hell, the only thing he could register was her lips moving, reading them and imagining her deep brogue inside his still-pounding head
He just nodded. The couple left soon after that, with Seth casting a sympathetic look behind as he did.
Kevin was grateful that he’d forget that part. Far be it from him to be kind to the dickhead at a later date.
Showers were out of the question. So was food. So was pretty much anything except crawling into the king bed on opposite sides and leaving the world behind for the night. Sami stripped down to his boxers for bed, declining the offer of one of Kevin’s spare shirts because of course even then he would be a stubborn ass.
Somewhere, between the haze and fog of Kevin’s vision, he registered that Sami was shaking.
Sami hadn’t looked like himself forever, or, at least, not the version of Sami that Kevin had fallen in love with. But there was something new to him.
Not fear.
Not tears.
Rage.
Pure, unfettered fury edging around Sami’s features that Kevin wasn’t sure if he should be worried about or celebrating. He’d always loved seeing that side of Sami, the side that was unafraid and unyielding, but he also knew that when Sami got emotional, he got stupid.
Kevin decided he’d go with celebrating. As long as Sami didn’t try and do something idiotic like face The Bloodline alone, Kevin would welcome the change in attitude.
Wait…
Kevin’s train of thought stopped. Hadn’t he already considered that?
Kevin looked around… and realized he’d already forgotten how he got back to the hotel room.
God, his brain was so messed up.
“Sami…” he said, wavering on his feet.
In an instant, Sami was beside him, holding him up. He was talking, saying something, but Kevin couldn’t make it out. Everything fucking hurt and the audio feed was nothing but static.
“Kev,” he saw Sami say, and everything else melted together as the world turned sideways.
..........
Kevin was in bed. How had that happened?
He looked to his right… and saw Sami, his back resting against the headboard, and looking at his phone.
The light was on and way too bright but he was grateful for the chance to look around. The hotel room looked like every other hotel room across America, although he wasn’t sure where this one in particular was.
He groaned. Everything hurt.
It got Sami’s attention and a moment later, Sami was off his phone, laying beside him. Kevin tried to get a good look at him through the pain and, fuck he was gorgeous. The fire in his eyes, he’d missed that so much.
Or at least, he thought he had.
What was his brain doing…
Oh.
Stupid concussion.
“You OK?” Sami asked. His voice was off, as if someone was trying to feed it through an old speaker that was equal parts muffled and crackling and, as he tried to register what was going on, it occurred to him that he was in bed with Sami Zayn.
Why…
Why the hell was Sami in bed with him?
“Sami?” he asked, his own voice muffled as well, “Why are you here? Where’s your family?”
He didn’t mean to say it. Or maybe he did.
Regardless, he knew he’d struck a nerve because Sami turned away from him sharply, climbing out of bed and walking away.
Whatever. He was probably just there to finish him off in his sleep or some shit. That was if he was kind enough not to smother him while awake. Still, everything fucking hurt and he needed to turn off, however that might work out.
He reached over, setting his alarm for the next morning. He didn’t even know if he’d set it right but he really couldn’t care less. If he missed his flight he’d get a new one, there was no way in hell he was making it to Raw on Monday anyway.
He knew a concussion when he had one.
Stupid concussion.
Everything hurt, and as Kevin laid on his back trying not to scream, he forced his eyes closed and his brain to sleep.
..........
It was sometime in the early hours of the morning when Kevin woke up with a weight against his chest.
His eyes opened slowly and, fuck, his head was pounding, but something was pressing against his side.
Reaching up to feel it, making sure to be gentle on his wrist which was especially sore for some reason, he found long, sweat-damp curls laying against his chest.
Sami was curled against him.  Crying in his sleep.
Somewhere in KO’s mind, he had a notion of familiarity, like it had happened before, recently even. But fuck if nothing was making sense at that point and, actually, what the hell was Sami doing in bed with him anyway?
Kevin’s fingers flexed through the curls as he tried to remember what had led to his current arrangement. He’d had a match against Roman, he knew that. The way his whole body felt like he’d been eaten by a wolf and shat off a cliff suggested he’d lost.
But why was Sami there? Had something gone wrong?
Had Sami been…
Kevin still couldn’t hear him. Everything sounded like he was underwater. Still, Kevin had held Sami while crying enough times to know what he felt like. Shaking him, he said Sami’s name. Once, Twice. Three times. He was on the fourth when Sami startled, shifting suddenly.
“Hey,” Kevin said.
And then, Sami was gone, moved to the other side of the bed lying on his back. It was hard to see him in the dark; the only light was the cracked bathroom door that Sami always insisted on leaving open. But the light was still around the corner and coming from behind Sami, so it was doing little to illuminate him.
Reaching over, Kevin ran his fingers against Sami’s hair, swiping down across his shoulder. He was so stiff and still shaking and Kevin needed to see him, to face him, if he could just get his body to move...
It took effort and sucked greatly but after a bit, he managed to turn on his side to face Sami. It was still too dark to make out details but as his eyes began to adjust to the light, he realized Sami wasn’t even acknowledging him. He was simply laying on his back, staring at the ceiling.
Despite the pain in his… everything, there was still enough extra pain in his soul to register his heart breaking.
Kevin’s hand came to rest on Sami’s bare chest.
“Please,” Kevin said. “Please.”
He didn’t know what he was asking.  Or who he was asking.
God, he was so fucking tired.
His eyes began to close again but he fought it. Sami was more important. Sami needed him. Reaching over, he took Sami by the shoulder as carefully as he could and put just enough pressure on it to make his point.
Come back to me.
Back to my arms.
Back where you belong.
Kevin didn’t know you could plead with someone through a touch but there he was, all but on his knees asking for mercy for them both.
There was no response at first but, after an agonizingly long time, Sami shifted, turning to face him. There was still a distance between them, always far too much distance, but it was an improvement. Again making sure not to strain his wrist, Kevin lowered his hand, resting it above Sami’s hip. Strangely, Sami let him.
Something had definitely happened.
He searched his brain for answers and found none.
He sighed.
Stupid concussion.
He wanted to kiss Sami. Maybe if he could just kiss Sami, he’d remember. Taste whatever victory Sami might have earned without him on his lips. But he didn’t. There was no kiss, no profession of love, nothing that would constitute Sami’s willingness to forgive him.
Forgiveness.
Kevin was pretty sure he’d already done that part. How the hell could he stay mad at Sami? Sami, his Sami, his soulmate. All he’d wanted for months was to save him. To protect him. To break him away from The Bloodline for his own good.
Right?
A thought filtered through his hazy brain. An image of Sami standing across from him, wiping blood off his face, smearing it onto his white wrist tape.
Maybe not then. He should get on that.
Sometime. It was an issue for future KO to deal with.
At that moment, he just needed to get through the night.
Sami was still shaking and Kevin wished he could see Sami’s eyes through the darkness; That he could admire and cherish the fire there, the righteous rage from his soul reignited.
Kevin couldn’t help but think it would be the most beautiful sight in the world.
And a little bit scary.
But, he couldn’t see it, the light was far too dim, and even if he could, it would just be another memory stolen from him by the events of the night.
Still, he needed to be closer. He needed it, he craved it, even if he forgot it all, maybe, maybe…
He shifted again and pushed his arm forward, nudging at Sami’s head. Through all impossibility, Sami lifted his head, allowing Kevin to slide under him. For a second, his heart caught for a moment, the tiniest flicker of hope still burning growing stronger. But the distance remained, Sami moved no closer and didn’t relax.
A tear Kevin hadn’t even realized had formed rolled down his face.
It was the most he was going to get. For that night. Potentially forever. And as he tried to hold onto the sensation, he knew in his heart he was going to remember none of it.
Stupid concussion.
It didn’t matter. Again, they just needed to get through the night. Whatever came next, they’d figure it out later.
Kevin felt vibrations against his arm, almost as if Sami was speaking. To speak through the pain and agony whatever was on his mind.
Kevin still couldn’t hear him properly. It was probably better that way.
But in his mind, his concussion-addled mind, Kevin wondered what Sami might have been saying. What words of comfort he might have been trying to speak.
Or, words of aggression.
Kevin’s eyes drifted shut. The pain was too much. The aches and pounding and agony were just too damn much and, against every will or wish that he had, he felt the world slipping away and into darkness.
….......
It was morning.
And his phone was ringing.
Kevin’s eyes cautiously opened as he immediately registered an entire body’s worth of sore.
His phone was still ringing.
Reaching over, he picked it up. The number… he knew that number, what was it...
He hit the button to answer.
“Hello?” he asked. God, he sounded awful.
“Hey Kevin,” a nasal voice on the other end sounded. Funny, he remembered it being sharper than that. “It’s Seth.”
“Wha—” Kevin looked at the number again. “Why are you calling me?”
“Just checking in. You got pretty smashed up last night. Wanted to make sure you were ok.”
Kevin shook his head, immediately regretting it. “Ok, again, why?”
“Hey, I’m not that big an asshole. Just because we have our differences doesn’t mean I want to see you brain damaged.”
Brain damaged….
Kevin thought for a moment, trying to remember what had happened the night before, but it was all a blur. He was in a hotel room, that much was true, but he had no recollection of getting there or of the match that he was obviously beat to hell from. Why the hell didn’t he rememb…
Brain damaged…
Oh.
Fuck, how bad a concussion did he have?
“What happened?” he asked.
“Your eggs got scrambled, Kevin, aren’t you paying attention?”
“No, I get the concussion, that’s why I’m asking. What the hell happened in the match.”
“You lost.”
“I figured that. What happened with Sami? Is Sami OK? Did he…”
A brief flash of the night before came rippling through his mind. The feeling of long, tangled curls against his fingers. Against his chest. A familiar weight resting against his chest for the first time in forever.
“Seth,” Kevin said slowly, “Sami. Was he here?”
Kevin heard Seth sigh on the other end before responding. “Look, if you want a blow by blow, call my wife. You like her better anyway. I just wanted to make sure you weren’t dead. You’re welcome, by the way.”
Kevin scowled. “I’m not dead. Thanks for your concern.”
“Good luck finding a ride to the airport. I was going to offer but I have a qualifying match tomorrow for Elimination Chamber. Maybe you can find your way out of the lobby to an uber. Just make sure there’s an elevator waiting before you step through the doors.”
“Fuck you, Seth.”
“Yeah, figured. Whatever. Just don’t do anything stupider than usual or Becky will blame me.”
Kevin’s jaw clenched. He didn’t have time for Seth.
“Go to hell,” he grumbled and, pulling the phone back, hung up on him. He really was an asshole, regardless of what he said.
Kevin got out of bed and stretched. It was a mistake, he felt like he’d been run over by a freight train, but he managed to get himself up and, after using the bathroom, headed to his suitcase to get ready.
He was midway through getting dressed when he noticed the time on the clock.
12:47 PM.
What?!?
His mind raced as he looked at his phone to double check. Yep, it was after noon and, somehow, his alarm hadn’t gone off. He brought up the app, had he messed up in setting it…
Oh.
The alarm was turned to OFF.
It was set to OFF and there was a note listed for it.
“Check the dresser.”
What the fuck?
Getting up he hobbled over to the dresser. There was a note, scribbled on the hotel notepad.
I turned off your alarm. You needed the sleep. Room’s taken care of for another two nights. Hunter’s handling your flight.
Take your time. You’re on concussion protocol anyway so don’t bother showing up to Raw or Smackdown for a while.
See you whenever. I have work to do.
- Sami
Kevin’s brow furrowed. Sami had been there. He’d not only been there, he’d spent the night.
But why?
He tried to remember, straining against the brain fog but nothing was coming through. Had they turned on Sami? Had Sami tried to save him?
What? The Fuck? Had Happened???
Flashes of black, red, and orange coursed through his brain. The feeling of being chained up, the feeling of being slammed against stairs, being kicked in the head repeatedly, and everything turning to grey.
And, one final flash, the sight of Sami Zayn, holding a chair in front of him… and then using it on Roman Reigns.
Looking at the note again, his fingers brushed against Sami’s name at the bottom. Sami had left a note. He’d spent the night and he’d left a note.
Did Sami care? Were they friends again? Is that what they were? He looked at the notepad again.
San Antonio, TX, it read.
Kevin rolled his eyes. He really fucking hated Texas. Nothing good ever happened in Texas. At least whatever happened this time, he wouldn’t have to deal with remembering it. His pride still stung from being dragged out of Wrestlemania by the Texas Rangers.
Still, he wished he knew what happened. Not in the match, but after. He wanted to know what Sami had said, what he’d done.
If Sami had forgiven him.
His head hurt too much to process it. He put the notepad down and, having a drink from a bottle that someone had been kind enough to leave on the dresser beside the notepad, crawled back into bed. He needed more sleep and if Hunter was handling everything, he was in good hands.
Doing his best to relax, he pulled the covers over himself, drifting away again. And, as he did, memories came back.
Not of the night before. But of a dream.
A vivid, agonizing dream that he couldn’t place. There were no details to it, no context, no plot.
Just one image.
The image of a fallen angel. His angel, transformed into a demon with broken, bloody wings, bared fangs, and crimson horns sprouted from flaming orange hair.
Guardian no more. Now bent on vengeance.
And as that dream faded into oblivion, Kevin Owens headed into the next one.

We Are Family, Chapter 3: Piano
It's really amazing how the slightest change can have the biggest effects on Writer's Block. I've been stuck on this chapter for over 2 months now, and I decided to change one sentence and remove one paragraph, and suddenly I was able to escape my Writer's Block and actually finish this chapter, plus another and start yet another!
Needless to say the Sakaki parents, Yusho and Yoko, were not happy when they found out that Yuri had shoved a kid’s head in a toilet for the third time this year. The only thing that stopped them from grounding their son was the fact that he was once again defending Yuya from a bully.
“Why do people like picking on you?” Yusho asked Yuya over the family’s daily video chat. The Sakaki father was out of the country touring the world at the moment, and wouldn’t be home for another couple weeks. He was a world-famous magician, and his tours provided enough money for his family to live comfortably. Of course that didn’t mean he let his kids think that being rich made them exempt from following rules and laws. No, he and his wife made sure their kids were good kids.
“I think I know why people pick on him,” Zarc said. “He just gives off an innocent vibe, like he would never even think of defending himself because he would never want to hurt anyone even if they hurt him first. And evil is attracted to innocence. It wants to break the innocent and destroy them. So it makes sense that people like to bully him. They just don’t expect it when he actually fights back, or when Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo come to his defense.”
Zarc was majoring in psychology, so he probably knew what he was talking about. Yoko sighed. “Well, as mad as we are that you did that Yuri, we know you were just protecting your brother. Just… please try to find a different solution next time? Preferably one that doesn’t involve you trying to feed a bully to your plants?”
That was another thing Yuri liked to do to Yuya’s bullies, and was in fact what had gotten him expelled from their last school. Last time he had actually managed to succeed in getting one of the bullies bitten by one of his prized plants. While it hadn’t been able to actually eat the bully, the plant did produce a toxic-to-humans enzyme that got into the bite mark, and the bully had to be rushed to the hospital. He survived, but Yuri had been expelled from school for the incident.
Yuri pouted and looked away from his I-Pad. After a moment, he spoke in a petulant tone, “Yes, Mother.”
“Good!” Yoko said. “I’ll have some homemade apple pie sent home from the set tonight! Behave for Zarc, boys!”
Yuri immediately brightened at the mention of homemade apple pie, and he and his brothers all cheered. Their mother’s apple pie was one of their favorite treats! Yuto and Zarc were always begging Yoko to teach them her recipe. Yuya and Yugo licked their lips thinking about the pie they were going to have that night.
Their parents had to go shortly after the mention of pie, so the video chat ended. Yuya flopped backwards onto his bed, closing his eyes. He was thinking about taking a nap, when there was a knock on his door. “Hmm?”
“Hey Yuya? Can you play the piano for us?” Yugo called through the door.
Immediately, Yuya sat up. “Yeah! I’ll be right there!” Yuya was a very talented musician and performer, and his brothers often asked him to play music for them. The youngest Sakaki brother had even written some songs and would sometimes sing them for his family.
Yuya came down to the living room where his brothers were waiting for him. The grand piano sat in the corner of the room, with a few poufs around it which seated the older four Sakaki brothers. They smiled encouragingly at Yuya as he walked over to the piano and sat down to play. “I call this song Aurora’s Embrace!”
Yuya played a song he had recently composed, one that he’d been working on for a couple of months. The song was beautiful, in the style of classical music, and Yuya was quite proud of it.
“Did you come up with lyrics for that song?” Yuto asked as Yuya ended his song. Yuya nodded happily. “Yeah, I did! Wanna hear them?”
“Yeah!” his brothers all said eagerly. Yuya smiled and started playing the song again, but this time singing.
“In the golden morning light,As the dawn breaks through the night,Aurora's gentle touch,Paints the sky with hues so bright.
Whispers of the rising sun,Warmth spreads across the land,Nature awakes from slumber,Embracing the day's gentle hand.
In the stillness of the morn,Beauty unfolds before our eyes,Colors dancing in the sky,A symphony of sunrise.
As the day fades to black,And the shadows start to grow,Aurora's final kiss,Sets the horizon aglow.
Evening's gentle lullaby,Soothing whispers in the sky,As the night unfolds its cloak,We bid the day goodbye.
Sunrise, sunset, a timeless dance,Aurora's embrace, a fleeting glance,In the cycle of light and dark,Nature's eternal spark.”
Yuya’s brothers all applauded when Yuya finished his song, and Yuya beamed as he stood up and gave a bow. Zarc reached out and ruffled his tomato hair. “That was amazing, Yuya! I’m so proud of you!”
Yuya smiled. “Thanks, Zarc!”

You know, Soldier Boy's suit is great and Jensen looks hot in it and all.
But there's a tiny detail that I keep snagging on. And the symbolism of it breaks my heart and crushes my gut.
The eagle headed knife. The symbol of America grafted to a piece of metal that can be tool or weapon depending on the hand holding it.
And, as it's Soldier Boy, you know the choice is always weapon

Ok, I know it's a very tense chase scene and all but I laughed so fucking hard when the tentacle gagged Scanlan. Like, of course that's his reaction. Of course

Orym is just as much of a powder keg as the rest of them. He's fueled by grief. He only seems stable and adjusted because he's had training as essentially a royal guard then took one look at this group (and the crown keepers) and went deae gods i have to dad these people so they don't die.
He's going to snap too. It's coming. He's barely hanging on with his fingernails and shit is building. And since Dorian has been gone, he doesn't have anyone he really leans on anymore. Plus, Dorian gone is another worry on his shoulders that he can't do anything about right now

You know, when I first saw the kintsugi repairs in Ashton's character art, all I could think was how beautiful it was. I assumed, I know now wrongly, that because their skin appeared to be stone that it wouldn't hurt. Though I do wonder if that's the reason why he survived in the first place.
Looking back on it, they make so much sense. Being in constant pain frays the patience, makes you snappy and short, and pares away anything but the most important. You look for ways of getting what you need to do done in the most efficient way possible. I can also see why Ashton doesn't like people touching him. It'll either hurt more or be the thing that shatters your resolve and makes you break down. Ashton is always walking a knife edge, holding onto their composure with a ragged grip. He's learned how to do it and has even gotten to a kind of nonchalance about it. But underneath is always the pain.
Now I wonder if rage helps dull the pain or makes it even sharper. When they rage, do they know it's going to help or hurt even worse? And at this point, does it even matter anymore?

"As she moved to the center of the room, trying to imagine her furniture here and herself living here, a cold breeze ghosted across the back of her neck. It raised the small hairs on the back of her neck and goosebumps down her arms." - Widow's Walk
"They were there again. The shadows that seemed to dip, sway and follow after her. Nijah Khoury glanced back as the edge of one shadow seemed to reach out towards her." - Shadowdancers
"“So, you want to be healed,” Amrita said after another sip of the wine. “What will you offer in return?”
“Anything,” Machi begged. “Anything I have. Please.”
“I heal you, you give me your first child. Fair’s fair, right?”" - Promises, Promises
"Thrilled that she was still alive, Cecily twisted in the water to study herself. Her tail was longer than her legs had been. She could feel power coiled in the muscles and ached to stretch her new body out." - To Become The Sea
"It called to her, stretched out lovely fingers and tempted her in. A small smile tugged at Haley’s lips as she listened. It sounded like the melody was coming from the opposite way of the lake again." - Feast of Sorrowed Breath
"She could clearly remember the last time she’d been swimming, the sun shining down on the blue water like it was today. That was years ago, however. No matter how many times she came to this pier, she never dared the water." - Trapped
"Have you ever heard of the smile maidens? I’d never heard of them before my travels and, at the beginning, I’d scoffed at the idea of them. It seemed such a silly name for a supernatural force that killed people or stole their souls." - The Smile Maidens

a mother's love
ok this is technically another interlude. because i need soft things in between the action scenes ok. here's some more dragon mama bonding with her child plus a surprise guest :^)
part 1 | interlude | part 2 | part 3
Meili hadn't explained where she had gone for those few days, no matter how much you asked. You had a feeling who her 'old friend' was simply due to the Vortex Vanquisher that was now mounted on the wall in the dining room. Questioning her only made her laugh and she ruffled your hair before changing the subject. Perhaps you'll never know what truly went on but Meili is back home and safe. She's unharmed and that's all you can truly ask for.
You hum to yourself, a quiet tune that Meili likes to sing when she cleans. You take another glance on the mounted spear before you gather the few books you had brought with you. The house is quiet since your mother figure is currently outside in the garden. Maybe you'll join her? She was gone for nearly a week. It might've not been too long but you had missed her. Her presence just makes you feel safe just by itself.
You duck into Meili's room just to put the books away neatly. Being tidy is the least you can do for her, you suppose. She took you in without expecting anything in return. Not even just that, she also confronted Zhongli for you without you even asking. It's… strange but she really does make you feel safe. Meili is the only reason you feel safe in Teyvat.
It's pleasantly warm outside and you take a second to just absorb yourself in the moment. Teyvat itself is beautiful and it's thanks to the dragon adeptus that you can finally enjoy it. You make your way off the porch, hopping down onto the dirt path that leads you to Meili's garden.
It's not too far. You're about to call out to her when you finally register the scene in front of you.
"-shameful! It's truly shameful! There's nothing someone could do to deserve that kind of treatment!"
Xiao?
"Morax is a blundering fool! I understand you have a contract but surely you still have morals?"
Meili is standing with her back to where you stand. Her shoulders are squared and it's like she's looming over the yaksha. From what you can see, Xiao is slightly hunched over and staring down at the dirt.
"You simply cannot excuse this behaviour! We are not to be treated like criminals!"
She's… lecturing him.
It's kind of amusing to see, if you're honest. He looks like a child who was caught doing something bad. He's sheepish, flushed with embarrassment and is avoiding looking at Meili at all costs. You're filled with a sense of fondness..
You hadn't crossed paths with Xiao yet in this world. You're surprised he wasn't ordered to join the hunt for you but you're also thankful for it. If Xiao was hunting you… it's likely you would have not survived long enough to meet Meili.
If Meili is comfortable enough with him to lecture him so close to home… perhaps he isn't as hostile as the rest of the people you have met?
You take a deep breath to calm your racing heart before you bounce over to the pair.
"Meili!"
She stops mid lecture and turns around, her eyes wide. Her surprise melts into a warm smile as she opens her arms for you to run into.
"My little gem!" Meili lets out a joyous laugh as she wraps her arms around you. Her nickname for you only brings you warmth. "You've come to keep me company, have you?" She leans back to meet your eyes with a fond expression.
You nod with a grin and she simply giggles. When she squeezes you into another hug, you take a peek over her shoulder. You just wanted to glance at Xiao, see his reaction, but instead you make direct eye contact with him. You slightly tense as his eyes widen, confused as he lights up with some sort of realization.
Meili hums and turns her head to look at Xiao, before shifting so you can both face him. She keeps you in her arms although her hold is loose, just in case you wish to pull away. He hasn't looked away from you and it's slightly unnerving. You burrow into Meili's arms, just peeking out to watch just in case.
"Xiao, honey," she drawls. "Close your mouth, you'll catch flies."
He flushes deeply and sends a glare to her. You can't help but laugh. Meili simply smiles fondly, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead before turning back to Xiao.
"Would you like to stay awhile? I can make almond tofu for dessert later."
Xiao quickly glances at you then to Meili a few times before he nods shyly. You direct a smile at him and he just ducks his head. Meili just laughs.
Meili drags both of you into weeding the garden. Not as if it was hard, you would be likely to be dragged into it anyways. It gives you more time with Meili at least. You listen to her soft singing happily, content just in her presence.
You work in a comfortable silence. You relax over time, losing tension you didn't realize you were holding and soon you're humming along with Meili's singing. She shoots a grin at you and you can't help but smile back.
After an hour or so, you wash off your hands with the hose outside. You glance over at Meili who's stretching with a cautious Xiao at her side. She had said they were done for today, but it wasn't quite time for dinner yet..
You look down at the hose in your hand before an idea comes to you. Yes, it may be childish, but it'll be funny.
Meili is chatting with Xiao about something, the discussion about something you're not too interested in. You aim the hose at Meili, covering the end of it with your thumb so it sprays water at your target.
She shrieks, flinching away in surprise as she brings up her hands to cover her face from the water. When Meili meets your eyes, she pouts playfully, her expression one of crafted betrayal.
"Little gem!" She cries out dramatically. She shrieks again when you spray her with more water and you can't help but laugh. Meili narrows her eyes playfully at you before she lunges over to grab hold of the hose.
You laugh loudly as you both fight over control with the hose, water spraying into your face on multiple occasions. At one point, Meili directs the spray of water to Xiao and you can't help but laugh as he sputters in indignation.
After a few moments, your play fight has calmed down and all you can do is let out breathless laughs. Xiao looks like an offended wet cat and Meili is simply grinning, glowing with joy.
Meili directs her attention to turn off the hose but before she does, you aim another spray of water directly in Xiao's face. He hisses in response, pushing the hose out of your hands only for it to spray back into your own face. You sputter before falling into giggles as you drop the hose to the ground.
You glance up at Xiao only just to laugh harder. He's closer than before and you end up leaning against him as you try to catch your breath from your laughing fit. He really does look like an annoyed cat.. You can't help but be amused.
"C'mon you two," Meili says as she lightly pushes your shoulders. Her voice is filled with joy. She's exasperated but clearly amused.  "We gotta dry off and think of what to make for dinner."
You nod and rub your face. It hurts from smiling so much and you're still trying to catch your breath from the laughing fit. However, even if the water fight was juvenile, it was one of the funnest times you've had.
You tug off your shoes before you step inside, placing them on the mat that's laid out before you start to make your way to your room. A change of clothes is in order but your quest is interrupted by a large towel thrown over your head. You startle and pull it off, glaring playfully at a chuckling Meili. You watch as she does the same thing to Xiao, only for him to swipe at her with a hand in clear annoyance. Meili simply dances away with a laugh.
With a fond grin, you duck into your room. You love Meili, you really do, but it's also nice to finally interact with someone else. Perhaps the whole world doesn't actually hate you. After all, if you can have a water fight with Xiao then anything is possible.
When you walk into the kitchen, you see Meili just aggressively drying Xiao's hair. It's a sight you never thought you would see and you can't help but laugh. Meili glances at you and grins, shooting a wink in your direction.
Xiao's head pops out of the towel and his hair is sticking everywhere. He's glaring at Meili but all she does is boop his nose before turning to the cabinets. You smile over at Xiao before you make your way to Meili's side.
"What are we making?" You ask as you peek over her shoulder. She turns to press a kiss to your cheek as she pulls ingredients out.
"Jewelry Soup!" She chirps before turning to look at Xiao. She smiles at him as he stands there almost awkwardly. "Would you like to help?"
You start to gather the rest of the ingredients as Meili speaks. Xiao's response is delayed, hesitant but he does reply. "I.. am not quite sure how," he admits.
"It's okay!" You look back to him and grin. "I didn't know how to really cook before either! Meili is a good teacher, so don't worry too much."
"My precious gem!" Meili cries as she drapes herself across your shoulders. You can't help but laugh at her dramatics. "You're too kind! It is you who was the good student, little one."
You roll your eyes, fondness filling your body as you nudge her off of you. She simply giggles as she stands upright before she gestures for Xiao to come closer.
"I won't bite, little birdie. You can just watch for now to get the hang of it, okay?"
After Xiao nods and hesitantly steps forward just to hover, you both start your usual evening routine. Cooking with Meili is as natural as breathing at this point. You work in comfortable silence and soon enough Xiao joins to help. He's a bit awkward, a bit hesitant, and frequently double checks to make sure he's doing things correctly. It's a welcome addition though.
You're surprised when you suddenly yawn. It makes sense, however. Xiao being here meant more activity and it was fun, but it was still tiring. Meili simply glances at you with a smile as she stirs the soup.
"Tired, little gem?"
You hum in response and she nods.
"Xiao, my little birdie, is it okay if we save the almond tofu for tomorrow?" She asks as she glances over her shoulder. Xiao must have nodded because she smiles and turns back to the soup. "You can eat and then go to sleep, precious gem. It was an exciting day today."
You smile, a bit tired but very fond. It was nice just living as if the outside world didn't exist. Nothing can hurt you with Meili here. You can let yourself go and just be childish. Meili will take care of you.
You let yourself be dragged into the dining room. If you weren't leaning on Xiao, you would've missed the surprised expression as he sees the mounted spear. He doesn't say anything as you sit down, staring at it for a few moments longer before he sits down as well.
Meili emerges from the kitchen with a quiet tune sung under her breath. She places the bowl of soup in front of you as well as a glass of water and does the same for Xiao. You hum along with Meili's tune before you eat.
Xiao and Meili are having a quiet discussion that you tune out for once again. It's early by your standards but all you wanna do is curl up in your bed and pass out. You blink tiredly, spacing out as you eat.
"Little gem?"
You startle and blink, bringing yourself back into awareness. You look up to meet Meili's eyes and she simply just smiles at you.
"Don't force yourself to eat. I can pack it up for tomorrow. You can go to sleep if you wish to, little gem."
Meili is too kind. You smile at her and nod, taking a drink of the water before you stand up. You trudge around the table and lean down to give her a hug. She squeezes her arms around you and kisses your cheek. "G'night, Meili," you mumble. She giggles.
"Goodnight, little one," she says, her voice full of fondness.
Xiao is sitting closest to the hallway so before you overthink it, you also lean down to give him a quick hug. "Night, Xiao," you say before you yawn. Xiao is nice. You hope he visits a lot.
You're just out of the room when you hear it. When you think about it the next morning, you're pretty sure you just imagined it. It doesn't make any sense to you. What reason would Xiao have to call you 'your grace'?
