Ok so I want to talk about harbingers playability really quick

1.We knew that Signora would not be playable since day 1 bc she was always marked as monster in game files, not as playable characher. Scaramouche, on the other hand, was always labeled as avatar_boy_catalyst (or something like that). People who wanted for Signora to be playable were not just overdosing on hopium but straight up ignored all the red flags.

People who keep saying Dottore/Arlecchino/etc. will not be playable are also just ignoring what's in front of them. Dottore is labeled in game the way other playable characters are labeled. From recent leaks Arlecchino is also labeled this way. It seems that Scara/Signora incident didn't teach these people anything. Bruh

2.Voice actors are important.

Look at Signora's va. All of them. We don't know what her eng va is and her other va are not that popular.

Now look at other harbingers' va. I will talk about eng va only but you can look up their va for other languages and see that they are also pretty famous. They are either have high positions in the voice/acting/art industry or have famous roles (or both). Dottore's eng va is Mick Wingert. He voiced fucking Iron Man. Or Pierro's va, Richard Tatum. He is artistic director in some LA company. Or Michael Tatum, eng va for Pantalone. He has a lot of roles. like... A LOT.

You get the point. There is literally no reason for MHY to hire these VAs (that probably have a pretty pricey price-list for their work) just to give their voices to a characters they will just kill off.

3.This point is kinda strange but i noticed it randomly and now i can't get it out of my head. Official art.

Try to remember one official art of Signora. You can't, can you? That's bc it doesn't exist, even tho she played some kinda important role in Mond/Liyue/inazuma plotline.

Now try to remember one official art of Scaramouche (not Wanderer). You will remember some artwork pretty quickly bestie. His first appearance in the official art was in 1.1 for the Unreconciled Stars. Then he was featured in 3.1 official art, then in 3.2 as a mecha.

Dottore now also has appearance in the official art in 3.1 as well.

4.Design.

This one will be focused on Pulchinella and Pierro bc they are in the same boat (kinda). You see, I saw a lot of people being like "well, Pierro and Pulchinella both have facial hair and we know that MHY will never have character like that in their game".

And... no. I see where these people were coming from but this argument is invalid BC Pulchinella was featured in Teyvat Travail video. (even tho he is faceless there). ALL characters that were shown in this video will be playable. It would NOT make sense for MHY to make all chars from there playable except Pulchinella. Like... 1) they could feature someone else from Snezhnaya in Travail if they wanted to go with this design for grandpa, 2) or they could simply give him different design.

Point is, Pulchinella will be playable like he is now. And as for the model... Well, we still don't have child male model in game but we definitely will at some point. MHY could just change it a little so it could suit gramps better and that's it.

Moving on to Pierro. Pulchinella has facial hair, Pierro does as well. If gramps is playable, then argument about Pierro not being playable just bc of his facial hair doesn't work anymore.

Also not even 24hrs ago we had this leak of MHY working on new male model and very heavy accent was on Pierro in this art sheet. So...

Of course I could just be wrong, delusional and overdosed on copium. But i genuinely think that all harbingers will be playable (except Signora ofc) in one way or another.

My thoughts on Skirk

With the way Skirk treats and talks about him, its no wonder Tartaglia turned out the way he did. A bright and naive 13 yr old boy with no combat experience falls away from the comfort of his home into a world full of monsters with no sun or safety and the only psuedo-caretaker he has won't even speak to him properly because she says him as too weak to bother with, and after 3 months of fighting his way through hell and losing his humanity, he returns to that home he was longing for, only to find that 3 days have passed since he left and he tells not a single person what happened to him. No wonder he lost his mind down there.

I miss the Skirk that I had made up in my head, the one I patched together from different fic writer and fan artists ideas for her, the one that had that same rambunctious and bloodthirsty personality that Tartaglia inherited, the one that took care of a child the best she knew how while hardening him to survive the abyss' dangers, the one that at least *tried*, because she *wanted too*.

I just feel disappointed, and I think a lot of other people are as well.

I think that, until we see her again, I'm just going to keep pretending that the one in my head is the real one.

I've been brainrotting about reverse comfort and sickfics a lot recently. There are HCs about harbingers taking care of sick reader, we can do the same for them😤

In my imagination, excluding Scara for obvious reason, harbingers are separated into 3 groups when sick:

1. Compliant ones. They understand they can't get any of their work done when sick and will calmly rest until full recovery

Capitano - he's reasonable enough to understand he can't get any of field work done when sick, so he'll patiently wait for recovery. He advises you not to spend too much time around him, fearing you'll get sick, but you insist on taking care of him. Capitano won't express it, but he's so grateful

Columbina - she's so sad bc her throat is sore and she can't sing😔 But she takes this as opportunity to rest well and take a lot of naps with you taking care of her🥺 Even when healthy she's very affectionate, but when she's sick it's x10! I hope reader doesn't forget to wear a mask in all of scenarios

(Platonic) Pulchinella - he's way behind rebellious era, as an old man he knows that going around when sick won't do any good for anyone. Like Capitano, he insists that you shouldn't spend your time around it, but not only so you won't get sick, but bc you're young - there are better ways to spend time as a youngster than caring for an old man, especially since he knows how to handle himself

La Signora - her pyro magic will be a death to her when sick😔 she feels like she's boiling in her skin so even if she wanted to disobey reader and work, she couldn't and she feels so so weak;; Signora needs not only medicine, but good amount of comfort too😞

Pantalone - initially, I thought about putting him in group of rebellious ones, but then I gave it more thought... I think Panta has very good immune system, so when he gets sick it hits him like a truck. Like Signora, even if he wanted to work, he physically can't. And getting sick brings Pantalone back to times, when he couldn't afford any medicine ;; Memories hit him harder, than fever does so please distract him from them

2. 50/50. Stubborn, you'll need to convince them to rest, they might complain, but eventually give up

Arlecchino - I see her as a person, who doesn't want to seem weak in Reader's eyes, plus someone has to run orphanage, so she'll stay on her feet for as long as she can. You'll have to forcefully drag her to rest, she will protest. Just tell Arlie that she will get kids sick and that's a much more worse problem than spending a week bedridden and she'll give up. While she's sick, you're the one who watches over Heart of the Hearth

Tartaglia - he's restless. Insists he's fine, but you look at his red cheeks, glassy eyes and order him to rest, making sure he doesn't escape to do field work or something else in cold of Snezhnaya, like fishing, so you'll have to keep him entertained while he's bedridden. I think Childe actually can recover quickly and doesn't feel that bad, unlike Signora or Pantalone

3. The "I'll to tie you up if you don't go back to bed right now!!" group, enough said

Pierro - why he's here? Well, I think as a Director of the Fatui he has lots and LOTS of work matters to attend to, so it'll take you lots of convincing to get him to rest, bc as soon as you try to, some fatui underlings fill a report on Dottore for threatening them, Pierro also has to attend meeting with harbingers today and make sure it goes smoothly, then he has to get through reports of fatui agents from all over the seven nations... Old man, please, your fever is so high that you read the first page of report for the 4th time already. Fatui won't fall apart if you lay in bed and rest for a week, trust me

Dottore - I'm not sure IF he can get sick, Dottore probably modified his body to avoid this but for the sake of headcanon, let's say he can. He just gulps some pills and continues his experiments. Imagine the following scene - fatui underlings, who work in constant fear of upsetting their harbinger, see reader scolding Dottore for not only not eating and sleeping properly, but also for working while sick - all without a single shred of fear😨. Dottore brushes it off and says he'll just inject medicine and will be okay in no time but you want to hear none of this. Off to bed you go! Dottore will escape from your grasp to check on his experiments though...

Sandrone - like you wrote in bathing HCs - get her own automatons to work against her! No, Sandrone, your projects can wait. You can't focus properly! Now say "aaah", I promise this medicine is not bitter. But as soon as you fall asleep, she will try to get back to her projects, but since you got her automatons to cooperate with you, they will stop her, waking you up in process. No, young lady, I'm not letting you work until you recover and that's final!

HOLY IM CARESSING THIS SO DEARLY WTF I LOVE THEM ALL DEARLY😭😭😭🥺 I will take care of ALL of them 😤😤

Ah Capitano,, the bb. The idea of that huge deadly man becoming sick is kinda funny to me. You probably didn't even know it was possible at first. But you easily recognize the signs and order him to stay in bed (he is surprisingly compliant but he turns to mush around you in general, also he trusts your human advice very much since he's unaware of these things) Gosh and since he's afraid of hurting you in generally he'd be scared of making you sick too :( Even after you insist you'll be fine he comments on your safety every now and then. To which you reply he'll have to worry about his own safety if he keeps this up. (He doesn't understand you're jokingly threatening him.)

COLUMBINA NOOOO BABY GIRL... It feels so quiet without her lovely voice :( You miss her singing dearly but Bina promises to sing you her latest tune as soon as she's better! Make sure to brew her some nice soothing hot tea. And oh she's so shamelessly clingy. Neither of you is leaving her room!! She wants you to take care of and pamper her so much, comb her hair for her and choose her outfits, nurse her back to health. And also explain to Pierro why she's slacking on her duties <3 (Yup make sure to take precautions otherwise they'll be taking care of you next 😭)

WAHHH PAPANELLA MY HEART- He's a reasonable man, he can easily understand his situation and the consequences of what would happen if he tried to fight it (he probably did in his younger years) so he doesn't object to bed rest. Papanella knows it's really boring and you could be doing more productive things, but he's glad when you decide to stay ;( He's so happy he has such a good-natured child around, not many people are as kind as you nowadays. He'll happily go on about his younger days even though he's supposed to be resting, he still wants to keep you happy and entertained 🥺 (He just loves talking to you in general, he loves when you listen so intently)

Oh Signora, she's so vulnerable right now, even her Cryo Delusion is of no help :( She can't remember the last time she got sick and she completely hates it. She's a very independent and strong woman so she loathes the feeling of powerlessness,,, when she's under the weather you're the only person she wants to see, otherwise she'll get irritated. Make sure to tuck her in and stay by her side as she sleeps, she doesn't want to wake up to you not by her side. Also cook her some homemade soups and stews from Mondstadt, she'll internally get a bit emotional.

STOP IM DISINTEGRATING AT PANTALONE'S... He definitely has a really strong immune system from all he went through as a child. So he hasn't gotten sick in a while so when he finally does he's just like. Oh. And he tries not to let anyone know/see because he really hates this feeling since it's coupled with a lot of bad memories from his childhood. From when he had no one to take care of him. No one who cared. Still having to work to survive. Wondering if he'd be the next to succumb to illness like the many others he'd seen. Pantalone gets oddly quiet when he's sick so you'll have to talk a lot to distract him :( He appreciates it more than he lets on though - having someone genuinely love and take care of him during this is something he's always wanted since he was a child.

Oh Arlie bb... you don't need to keep up your walls in front of your lover :( I agree, she always tries to appear calm and composed to you, she doesn't want you to worry about her. So she acts as though she's completely fine. And since she's good at pretending you don't notice her fatigue until a few days later (even she can't hide from you forever, you know her better than everyone) and immediately you try to convince her to just rest. Arlie will try to deflect and deny your accusations until you wear her down with your arguments. In the end she has to accept your logic (and also the fact that seeing you upset because of her hurts her more than she liked to admit.)

Childe is always the one taking care of his family when they're sick, so when he finds himself as the sick one he is surprised and tries to ignore it. He's tough, he can handle it! He's been through way worse battles and survived! You will have to block the entrance to the door physically and push him to bed, which he'll resist and whine at first, but in the end, he won't say no to you. I don't know, use some reverse logic against him too. Ask him if he'd want to fight someone who's not in tip-top shape. No? It wouldn't be satisfying? Okay, then don't put your enemies through that! He has a soft spot for being pampered once in a while, so read him some stories and steal his recipes please :)

OH GOD Getting Pierro to rest is one of the hardest things you can put yourself through 😭 He's so swamped with all kinds of work, he stays in the same seat sorting through paperwork for hours on end. You swear the only break he takes is when you barge into his office to bother him to take a break! (Along with a meal because he NEEDS that despite denying it...) I don't know, you'll have to be a bit creative... steal his pens I guess? Either way, when you finally get him in bed, barricade the doors. Please relax Pierro, the Fatui is full of very questionable characters but they're capable at least. They won't die without you!

Ahaha Akademiya Dottore definitely got himself sick at least, whether it was from nonstop experimenting or from some unknown plant in the forest he got into contact with. He was hella grouchy but he was still physically human here so he had no choice but to listen to you begrudgingly. I bet he was giving you instructions on the next steps for his experiment while sick in bed (he's a silly guy.) For Fatui Dottore he definitely completely ignores his physical state and just downs some medicine and injections and continues on like nothing is wrong 😭 The Fatui soldiers are in tears while the clones are just like another normal day at your scolding. You won't be able to get this crazy man to rest fully but it's better than nothing right? Just try to stay awake as long as possible because he'll slip away once you're sleeping.

SANDRONE MY BELOVED!! Ahhh i will always be in love with the idea of the Automatons that SHE made working against HER because of YOU. Like, I'm your creator, you shouldn't be disobeying me! Too bad that some of them developed feelings and love seeing you with her :3 and will happily assist you with your desires. Sandrone will try to escape, but she knows better than anyone the strength of her Automatons. So after seeing how fruitless her attempts are she will eventually have to comply with you and stay in bed (maybe bring her something mechanical to do in bed 😭 she's really bored) At least now she will be a little more attentive to her condition now that she knows you are going to do this to her.

Since I'm biased I'm throwing in modern! Scara where he's not a puppet :3 I can see him being a mix of group 2 and 3 since he refuses to admit he's sick and just tries to keep pushing himself. Ignoring your pleas. He still hates appearing to be weak, especially in front of you. Though once you finally, finally get him to stay in bed he probably gets all clingy and demanding for you to stay by his side. He wants your attention on him so bad :( Please feed him some soup and stay by his side as he rants and then falls asleep <3

I feel like all of the Harbingers are super resistant to viruses and such, I wouldn't be surprised if they're even immune to different kinds of poison. So I think the main way of them getting sick would be overworking themselves along with added stress 😭 which honestly happens to all of them- please make sure to pull them away from their desks for a nap and cuddles every now and then 💞

Arlechinno’s voiceline on Childe was a pleasant surprise

What I find the most interesting about it is that it implies Childe is going to get betrayed again, that he hasn’t grown out of the personality that let that happen in the first place. Honestly I didn’t think the game viewed Childe this way, someone so tragically trusting that he’s doomed to have that used against him. But then I thought about it more and oh boy does it view him that way. We kinda got that with Pulchinella already (Scara implying Pulchinella is just using him) but it seems they are gonna go forward with that plotline. I always thought Childe was going to have to pick between one of his two main loyalties, his family and the Tsaritsa, by someone he trusts.

Wanderer implying that his faith in Pulchinella is ill advised? Eh he’s just a hater and honestly that could not go anywhere. Arlechinno implying the exact same thing? Uh oh.

And considering it seems like Pulchinella is the one who sent him out on whatever mission he’s on in 4.6? Double Uh oh.

Now I don’t think Childe is gonna have to make that choice in 4.6, it’s too early for that. But do I think they are gonna foreshadow it even more? Absolutely.

Good luck Childe the narrative remembered you existed (also what the hell happened to the All Devouring Narwhal because Childe is fine, great we all cheered but Skirk threw the damn thing through the same portal as him so does he just have it as like a paperweight on his desk or something 😭). My money is on him eating it because it would be funny

New Beginnings (FANFIC)

This is a continuation of my previous fic, I´m making this AU series, where things have gone back to normal and the characters have normal lives.

You don't exactly have to read the first part to understand but I highly recommend it.

Also, Pinocchio isn't a puppet but he isn't a human. He is something unique, but he isn't 100% one or the other.

Rebuilding Krat was no easy task, the threats might be gone but the situation was tense, the citizens felt unease. Giving out the cure for the prettification disease was the easiest task ironically, finding the cure might have been hard but it was relatively easy to make, even without the help of alchemists.

Speaking of, alchemists were never seen in a positive light by the majority of the public but now it was downright hostility, if an alchemist was found in a community, the people would riot and mobs would kick them out, it was quite a miracle that the violence didn’t end up into lynching.

Construction was somewhat going well, the architecture in Krat historically had solid bases but repairing historical building have been a challenging task, houses in more impoverished communities took a hit the hardest, and the people were frustrated by the lack of support by the falling government to help them, their issues had always been kept last, even before everything went to hell in Krat.

What eased their minds is that Lady Antonia stepped up, she offered those without a home refuge inside the hotel, the offer was taken, and eventually, those who managed to have a new home left, still, some still remain in the hotel rooms.

Venigni helped as well, his eccentric genius shouldn’t have been underestimated, providing jobs, funding public projects, he even building a hospital, Venigni’s popularity was at an all-time high, and many saw him as a savior after the crisis, of course success breeds jealousy, but all the good he had done was worth recognizing.

Surprisingly Eugénie opened a flourishing business, the people sought weapons to defend themselves if worse came to be, and her expertise came in handy, although she disliked violence, she understood why people wanted to defend themselves, like when she helped Pinocchio in his journey, and she was thrilled to see her family’s legacy be recognized.

When it came to the puppet issue, the public was divided, half understood the situation when explained fully, that they truly meant no harm and were trying to protect them, and the other half was enraged, due to this, no new puppets were being built, even if they would be more helpful for hard labor both Geppetto and Venigni decided it was for the best to not stir the pot.

Polendina and Pulchinella were barraged with insults yet no one dared harm them, as a sign of respect for Antonia and Venigni.

Pinocchio’s situation was.. tricky.

He saved them all, no doubt about that, but there was the fear of him attacking the humans and becoming evil, due to his strength he would be a downright unstoppable force, Geppetto made sure he wasn’t seen by the public, for the sake of his son as well, he didn’t need the unnecessary stress, and there was still much to teach them, sure he was polite, had manners but there was still much he didn’t understand.

Geppetto could sense that people either pitied him or didn’t think he was in his full mental faculties, gossip runs fast, so it was basically public knowledge that Pinnochio looked like his deceased son Carlo.

He couldn’t really blame them, Geppetto had recognized that he had truly lost his senses for a period of time, grief makes you do things that your irrational mind thinks rational, especially losing a child, it's a pain he wouldn’t wish upon anyone.

But Pinnochio was his own being, Geppetto had made his peace, he had two sons, and he wouldn’t neglect his second child for Carlo anymore.

After months, they went back to his home, he stayed at the hotel to help in every way he could but he was tired, and Antonia insisted he get rest, everything that happened had taken a toll on him, and if she and Venigni had given themselves time to rest so should he.

His house was on the outskirts of Krat, on a small hill just outside the city, his house wasn’t big or extravagant, unlike Venigni, he remembered going to his house a few times, well, going to his mansion, huge, filled with tons of fancy decorations, five floors filled with rooms for anything you can think of.

In contrast, his house was smaller, not tiny, yet not that big either, with two floors, and the second floor was just an attic for storage.

Geppetto opened the door, entering filled him with a sense of nostalgia, Pinocchio curious as a cat, was looking around the house, looking at every small detail, Gemini making small talk with him, he was happy of the strong bond they shared. Gemini was more assertive, Pinocchio was shy and Gemini tended to speak up on his behalf.

Everything was intact, Geppetto was glad the destruction didn’t reach his home, and glad he had emptied his fridge, he didn’t want the chore of having to throw away moldy food.

The living room connected to the kitchen, and next to it was a door that led to his workshop room, down the hall was his own room.

And Carlos’s room.

He had kept the room exactly the same since his death, he entered sometimes, but he never stayed for too long, so as to not break his heart further. Pinocchio… he obviously needed to have a place of his own and it wouldn’t be fair to him to be stuck in the living room, even if he didn’t really sleep per se, he did need time to recharge his own energy.

“Hey, Pinocchio pull me down from here!”

Gemini was hanging from a wooden clock, dangling from side to side, it was cute, but clearly not very fun for poor Gemini, Pinocchio teasingly smiled, before grabbing him back, instead putting him on a small desk and him sitting on the couch next to it.

Geppetto sat with him, he was tired and old, too old to be dealing with the entire situation, his joints weren’t what they used to be, but he was a stubborn man, he didn’t want his age to stop him from living his life.

Until evening they sat together, a brief talk about mundane things, a part of him wanted to ask him what became of Sophia, but he could tell that it was something that it wasn’t for him to know or understand, despite his distrust of alchemists, he was fond of Sophia, she was a kind person.

Geppetto needed to buy some food, he couldn’t bring Pinocchio with him, but he assured him he would be back soon.

Geppetto came back by the end of dawn, exhausted, maybe it was a mistake to live on the other side of the city, nowhere close to the center where most vendors resided.

As he opened the door, he was Pinnochio sitting on the couch reading a book Gemini on top of them, two other books laid on the table, happy to see that his own enjoy reading, he greed them both. After arranging the groceries, he joined them, asking him about what he was reading, and Pinocchio was happy to oblige, as he described the plot of the books, he could see the passion in his eyes, it made Geppetto feel comfort, and an intimate bond between them, a moment between father and son.

As it got late, Geppetto’s need to sleep got the better of him, it was time to go to bed.

He signaled Pinocchio to follow him down the hall, he had to see his new room.

As his hand pressed against the doorknob, he hesitated, a part of him, a selfish part of him didn’t want to give up Carlos’s room, even if it was lying unused, but he couldn’t be selfish anymore, he needed to be a good father, and with a deep breath he opened the room.

Carlos’s room.

A single bed in the middle of it, in the right corner his closet where his old clothes and belongings were, on the right corner a desk, with a fee of his study books, two drawers that contained notebooks or personal items, a small wooden box contained some of the old toys that he never got rid of.

Next to the bed was a couch, where Romeo would sit and rest at night next to him.

Pinocchio stepped forward and looked around the room.

“This… is your room, take good care of it son, I’m… going to got to bed, your old man is ready tired… good night” Geppetto left the room, he didn’t want to feel sentimental and bring the mood down.

He went towards his room, not much different than Carlos’s room, a closet and drawers with his belongings, a desk on the side with books and writing utensils, his queen side bed, next to it a small table, that held a photo frame.

He, Carlo, and his beloved wife.

He decided to just change his clothes and go to sleep, he can’t let the past consume him again.

Yet Geppetto lay awake at night, as time passed he couldn’t attain sleep, he tried to not let his thoughts get the better of him, but it was a hardship conquering his own demons.

Suddenly the small crack of his door opening got his attention, he sat in his bed to see in the dark Pinocchio standing in his room. He was wearing pajamas that belonged to Carlo.

“Oh Pinocchio, is there something you need?”

Pinocchio looked at him and grabbed his own hands, feeling nervous, eyes on the ground”

“I.. couldn’t rest”

He looked up to Geppetto.

“This is going to sound silly, but, can I… can I sleep on your bed? With you?”

Geppetto tried not to cry, his emotions a whirlpool of sadness and joy.

“Yes, of course, you can son, come here”

Pinocchio sat on the bed next to him, pulling the sheets, now both lying on the bed together.

Geppetto closed his eyes, the sleep was finally coming to him, he felt at ease.

He turned to face his son and wrapped his arms around him, and Pinocchio embraced him back.

Birthday bash is taken way too literally by the Harbingers, to say the least.

My first thought upon reading that is for some reason, a semi friendly free-for-all between the Harbingers and the segments. The other guests are welcome to join but because those are Harbingers and more likely than not, the superiors of some of the guests, they don't join.

The free-for-all ends in the wackiest shit happening. The Harbingers sometimes actually try to kill each other, but because they are drunk by the point they get to the point of the free-for-all, nothing serious ever happens besides minor wounds that most of them don't notice until the next morning or something.

For example, Arlecchino tries to go after Pantalone in earnest on that night, but they are all drunk, she trips over her own feet and drops her knife. She then gets a shot of fire water from someone nearby, she takes it, no second thought about poison needed. Because the harbingers made a pact to not lethally poison each other, and tonight, all poison is off.

She then tries to get up but just can't because she falls again and ends up lying there for a bit. By the time she gets up, she's already forgotten about going after pants.

I want to say something about tartagles getting into fights but I feel like Pulchinella might be feeling the dad instincts and thinks he's too young. Hence tartagles being either on a child leash or somewhere in arms reach of the rooster. Cue tortellini getting stuck in said child leash or something

I think the Tsaritsa is like an exasperated parent trying to corral all of her kids back to their rooms by the end of the night.

The next morning is when all the hungover harbingers get back to work, stopping by the halls to pick up their misplaced weapons that they lost or dropped - like Arlecchino's knife for example.

Anastasiy's birthday in particular is off limits for the bashing him, fortunately. Only because Anastasiy is the precious baby and none of the Harbingers would ever dream of lifting a finger against him, but all the other birthday celebrations are free for alls, including assaulting the person it's for. But if you dare try to murder Anastasiy on his birthday... You are despicable and will be put in gay baby jail by the grandpa himself, and Pulcinella will shame you the whole way there. Not to mention that Anastasiy would probably cry, which even the Harbingers aren't invincible to innocent tears from the baby, even if he's technically not a child.

But yes, the bashing is wild, Dottore has to be physically restrained so he doesn't accidentally murder someone. Pantalone though... He's a sly man, and not as drunk as he appears, which is a surprise to Arlecchino who thinks she's being smooth by sneaking powder into his drink while he's not looking.

Pierro ends up sobbing on Anastasiy's shoulder about how he's "grown up so fast" and "was only as tall as my hip just yesterday" at one point, and has to be ushered away by Capitano to sober up.

Columbina has bitten at least three people by the end of the night, and Capitano has to make sure that Tartaglia doesn't try to use the Foul Legacy against Sandrone, who made fun of him for being a ginger.

Anastasiy ends up dragging his drunk parents back to their rooms to prevent murders from happening, which is a hassle in itself. Drunk Dottore is an absolute gremlin, and Pantalone is... an old man when drunk. Wandering off, muttering to himself, he even counts mora while drunk off his marbles. Hosing them off and tossing them into bed is a feat in itself, and Anastasiy has to lock the door to make sure they don't sneak out to terrorize the innocent.

It's worth it though, but only because he gets to embarrass the other Harbingers later with tales of their drunk shenanigans.

Time to share my weird genshin dream! Sorry that it’s really long

I had a dream that pulcinchella was my great uncle and I was late to go to a family dinner reunion thing so I had to run around pulchinella,s house and try to figure things out. Then I ran out to the docks and tried to board a boat and boarded a boat.Then I think the rest of the harbingers were there as well and THEY STARTED TO HUG ME? So I was like lying there with childe on one side and Scaramouche on the other. It felt so nice and warm and comfy and real? Then it was sunny and it all looked like a beach resort and stuff and I looked over to childe on my one side and went “do you sun tan easily?” and he just looked at me. He was like shirtless and was starting to get a sunburn and then the dream ended.

I agree, all the harbingers look so good! And then also I'm excited to see what's up w/ Pulchinella because he looks like a nice little old man but also he's most definitely not going to be- and the extent of that is something that definitely piques my interest. Also the fact that he is the one who checks in on Tartaglia's family?? So he certainly is able to be trusted in that sense, at the very least >>

I've been reading up on the wiki to just refresh over what we do know from official stuff (announcements, trailers, quests, voicelines) and boy am I excited to meet more harbingers.

I'm sure that we'll start to see/interact with/fight multiple harbingers per region now that we are down to the last four of seven but have 8 left to really interact with-

Uh--OH yesyes ngl I think that Pierro is def a Dabi situation (iykyk), like it's a theory but the theory makes sense when put up against what we know about Pierro as well as the history of Kaeya + all that.

It's confirmed that Pierro is the 1st of the harbingers, both in power and because he was the very first one to be recruited by the Tsarista herself. We know that the Fatui, Khaenri'ah + the Abyss have some aligned views, especially following that of the Cataclysm. We also know that Kaeya's father is very likely alive- not to mention all the design parallels + the mask over the right side (a whole other thing I want to dive into, since we know that Kaeya, his father, Dainslief, and the husks, were not effected by the curse of Khaenri'ah the same way that the rest were. tl;dr, I'm thinking that the curse is more of a mark in the way that is pretty much fanon atm--something going on with the color of the pupil, something that obviously marks them nodnod

but continuing w/ theories stuff, with Pierro's mask matching that of the Bloodstained Chivalry's set-

The general idea of the Bloodstained Knight is that he left to fight during the Cataclysm, went into the Abyss, came back alive, but was tainted by death and had turned his loyalty to the Abyss after seeing what happened to Khaenri'ah.

here's the excerpt from the mask, specifically:

As the Bloodstained Knight reached out to help a person in need after slaying the monster. The way she cowered in fear made the knight realize: He was now a monster himself. Tainted by the blood and cruelty of his drawn-out war.

"Shield me from the eyes" "Of those I vowed to protect." "And shield them the horrors I am bound to effect."

So the thing is is that, symbolically, if Pierro is Kaeya's dad, then the fact that he's wearing a mask that mimics that of the Bloodstained Knight's makes sense.

Kaeya's dad wants to avenge or rebuild Khaenri'ah, the Abyss and Khaenri'ah join forces (?), he ends up working with the Tsarista but doesn't realize the change that has occurred with him (whether or not this is something yet to come, idk) in the sense that his original intent is now tainted by what he has done in the Fatui or indirectly caused by partnering with the Abyss (?), but then continues because he's too far gone and would rather shoulder the burden as much as possible

mmm I'll have to go back and go through this again or maybe do a more comprehensive deep dive into research,,,

but for now sodifhe yes

   Hand gave hers a surprisingly soft squeeze before lifting it upward,  lips pressing but a brief kiss to the back of her palm before guiding to hook around his arm,  expression soft as he finally responded.
