Hi anon, unfortunately I no longer have the old .exe 😩 I checked weibo, other users in China are having problems with it as well, my conclusion to this is that it's a broken app full of bugs, probably got nothing to do with regions (ノへ￣、)

Babe because of your ask, I spent good 5 hours tonight trying to debug it, because I insist we all get the dynamic wallpapers!!!

Same step as before, download this but don't install yet!

The following was actually hidden in their Q&A, you'll also need this for it to run, download the runtime version.

After you install the .NET Framework 4.8 go ahead and try to install the PAPERWALL .exe

→ If you get this error message, ugh congratulations, this is where I tried about 67 solutions for hours just so you don't have to

It's weird, because at this point, the thing have successfully installed on your local drive but it won't run.

Let's go back a step, if you open the .exe again, take note of where it's at on your computer. For me you can see that it's in the C drive, I presume it'll be the same for you.

Find the folder, open it

Open the app

→ If it works, great! We solved the problem!! 🎉 (You can skip to the section on the bottom on how to use the app)

→ If you get the same error message, read on:

If the images haven't loaded in the 1.0.1 version it will most likely going to crash when you try to do anything on it, so read on:

Let go back to the C drive

We are gonna move this somewhere else, if you have a hard drive, paste it to your hard drive, if you have another drive on your pc, you can move it to the other drive. BUT DO NOT MOVE IT TO YOUR DESKTOP!!!! Because we practice good computer hygiene 🙏

Once you've moved everything away, open it back up and try to install it again in your new file location

→ If it works, great! We solved the problem!! 🎉 (You can skip to the section on the bottom on how to use the app)

→ If you still get the same error message, I will send my portfolio to Paper Games to be a software developer in their office and write a new app

Once you get it running *fingers crossed* move the entire folder back to your C drive if you moved it to your hard drive, unless your hard drive is plugged in all the time.

If for whatever reason you get the "access to the path is denied" error message, try the right click and select the "Run as administrator" option.

For easy access:

Go onto your desktop, or wherever you want to access it from quickly and paste shortcut!! Remember it's the shortcut!!

The UI has changed a little since the original one, but it's easy to navigate.

Change the language to English, it should reboot the app

For good computer hygiene you might want to double check where the wallpapers are stored and change directory if needed.

If you're like me and have 2 monitors, this is what it'll look like with the wallpapers applied and the game opened, looks like I need a 3rd monitor for Shen Xinghui ⭐

(Desktop icons should show up, I just don't have icons on the desktop)

Secret third thing: you might be able to run it and have the lovely wallpapers but it suddenly goes glitchy or black screen... that's because of the faulty app, I've seen people mention it on weibo, it's not just you 😔

“Karl! Who are we calling next?” y/n says in a singing tone before grabbing his phone scrolling through his contacts.

“Y/n is clearly obsessed with prank calling now, I have created a monster,” Karl sits in front of the camera laughing as y/n is still scrolling through his phone.

“You literally have no friends Karl,” they mumbled sitting in the wheely desk chair next to him. He snatched the phone from their hand and looked at the limited number of contacts.

“Okay yeah I have like 3 people in my contacts,” he showed the camera his contact list obnoxiously giggling.

“How about Quackity? He will probably be up editing or something.” Karl suggests showing y/n his phone. They nod clicking the ‘Call’ button before Karl could tell the camera anything.

Quackity is sat on his bed textbooks and notes covering any sign of a blanket or even mattress. He groans and crumbles the 4th piece of paper for the night throwing it aimlessly away from himself. His blaring ringtone fills his room, completely drawing his attention away from the so very important paper that his professor wants submitted by midnight.

“Karl? It’s literally almost midnight what could you possible need?” Quackitys voice is weak and tired, he rubs his eyes fighting the urge to just throw himself back and going to bed.

Karl and y/n look at each other, they definitely did not think about what to say because of y/n pure excitement to call him. Y/n typed something onto an open word doc Karl had open on his PC. ‘Say you like someone in the smp or smth???’ it read. Karl just nods knowing who exactly he was going to fake his feelings for.

“Hey Q, I uh I need to tell you something. I didn’t know who to tell and I feel like you would be the best to tell,” Karl speaks into the phone then covers his face preventing his laughs to be picked up.

“What is it?”

“I like y/n,”

Y/n throws their head back silent laughs coming from their mouth. However, on Quackitys end there is pure silence. Quackity likes y/n, how could Karl as well?

“You’re kidding right?” He sputters out tears about of fall. It was now him covering his mouth, how did he not see that coming? They are best friends of course Karl likes y/n they’re perfect. He couldn’t stop the tears anymore they streamed down his face.

“Yeah kinda, do you reckon they might like me back?” He questions, y/n is now on the floor in hysterics. There is no way he believes this right? Karl is the worst liar in the history of liars.

“I mean there is no way they can’t you guys are best friends, and I mean why wouldn’t they you’re perfect for each other. Everyone can see that. Only an idiot would like y/n knowing you’re their best friend.” Quackity whispered into the phone barely believing the words coming out of his mouth. He doesn’t wait for Karls response but just hangs up.

“Fuck,” Quackity drops his phone onto his textbook mountain.

“Fuck!” He then grabs his phone again throwing it of his bed.

“Bro what the fuck was that?” Karl says through the phone. Quackity didn’t hang up, he clicked the speaker button by accident and closed his phone. He could hear Karls voice from his floor and when he looks off the side of his bed he see ‘On Going Call’.

“I didn’t hang up?”

“No man, are you okay?”

Y/n had turned off the camera at the point of Quackitys big speech, Karl and y/n shared a confused look as they listen for what he had to say. A whisper is sent through the phone, they barely hear it but catch the end.

“I like y/n too,” His voice was soft, almost defeated. Y/n slaps their hand over their mouth. Karls mouth is fully agape and an awkward silence falls between the call. Y/n reaches over to his phone and clicks mute.

“I fucking like him bro,” They say completely shocked.

“I know that dumbass why do you think I called him,” He answered in an obvious tone. He shoves his phone into y/ns hands and leaves the room.

“Tell him,”

“Karl? I am so-“Quackity begins.

“Do you actually like me,” They cut him off.

“Y/n? You weren’t meant to hear that!”

“Answer the question because if not then what I am about to say is going to make me sound like an idiot,”

“Yeah I do,”

“I like you too, Quackity,”

Quackitys face brightens, his smile reaches his ears, and he starts kicking his legs giddly.

Im the same anon who talked about erasing q!Forever and the Follows

Erasing his character because of his actions is very dumb, cuz u are literally ruining your own server's lore, I get it you don't want to talk about him, but I find very unfair with the community of his character and the team who worked so hard with the ARGS, lore AND EVEN SOUNDTRACK!!

Also about the Follows, I find very weird Quackity still follows him even if he "expelled"(quotes because I doubt that really happened) him y'know? Like, why are you still following him if the QSMP accounts are not and you apparently expelled him? It makes no sense

Just ingore all the work the staff did I guess, can you imagine putting a shit tone of work into some lore just to watch your boss delete it because your coworker is problematic.

Also inregards to the following situations I think it's highly possible Big Q doesn't actually buy the accusations and was just playing PC and being like "hey guys he's removed can we all stop attacking my server now?"

A lot of people on twitter were celebrating the QSMP were "on there side" as Forever got removed. People can unfollow you on one social media and still communicate with you else where, my best friend is still blocked on my old art account to this day and we talk everyday.

So in my eyes them refusing to make a statement and silently letting him go seemed more like a PR decision that a "I believe the accusations" decision

Hi anon,

Short answer is no. They should have lost levels on the diagonal step sequence, twizzles, and one foot turn sequence. However, for the first time all season EB finally achieved a full lunge position for their SlLi.

DiSt:

MC: flat on S-step RBO exit, no sustained RBO on rocker exit

EB: hopped RBI counter, flat on rocker RBO exit

SyTw:

Both pirouette on CW twizzles, MC pirouettes just 2 rotations in and has 2 rotations with no linear movement, should have been a level and GOE reduction

OFT:

Both hop RBI counter (EB more egregiously) and scratch their RFI brackets on exit

I also want to note that a fall has ALWAYS been defined as a serious error. It’s frankly the one thing that has always unambiguously been defined as a serious error. It doesn’t have to be on an element. As of 2010 In ice dance “a loss of balance or stumble” counts for a 0.5 deduction in SS per partner, so not even a fall, necessitates a cap. So, their PCS of 57.22 should have been maxed out at 52.50 (8.75/mark). Even by the new PCS standards (composition, presentation, skating skills) where the error is penalized less harshly and assuming that otherwise their PCS was worthy of 10s (which… no comment) and should have been capped at 9.50, France, Switzerland, and Estonia all gave 9.75s. France and Switzerland in skating skills.

5. Does the romance have different branching paths, or just one route to take?

Path 1 would be if you try to help Asheera find some peace and continually talk her down from a few key violent moments where she's conflicted or she thinks there's no other route — likely stuff such as killing Kar'niss and/or Yurgir outright, convincing her and Wyll about Karlach's innocence, that sorta thing. Remind her of her oaths. Doing that will make her the much calmer person that I've written in the fics.

Path 2 is if you indulge those sorta violent moments. She would become a much more bloodthirsty, monster-killer type. Eventually, she would become an oathbreaker. You're letting her lose herself in it, and that would be the sorta "darker" route.

6. How do they react to the player character breaking up with them, or choosing another character over them?

"Guess I was too good for you anyways," she says jokingly, but it should definitely be similar to a couple other dialogues where the mocap/tone shows that she's very hurt. She brushes it off and doesn't bring it up again.

7. What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?

For fun, I made a full multiple choice here like the game and put the answers under the break. If you're one of those wild ones that read all the fics (affectionate) I think you could probably get these. Indulge me if you want: how many did you get correct? Do two hearts beat a perfect rhythm?

Loving the Desert Gods AU so much I'm a sucker for some Thematics. Ephemer seems like the nicest to meet but I feel like the cheat code to getting the ol' Vanishing From Existence is to ask him about 'the sixth', which the text game made me think about given who I suspect is asking the Q's. The KHUX PC is a little bit blank slate but I still think about that post about dead and forgotten gods still having a presence and power by virtue that death can't stop them being what they are, just dead.

mods, vcs podem dar um toque pra glr falar menos de joguinho? toda vez q abro a tl tem alguem falando de jogo e ta meio chato o assunto saturado... assim sei que nao é proibido mas toda hora isso

Oi anon, vamos conversar sobre isso aqui.

Esses joguinhos que você tá reclamando é algo que tá excluindo outros personagens? Tá poluindo a tl? Tópicos sensíveis? Se for o caso vou pedir pra que venha na dm com prints pra podermos resolver o problema. Admito que eu revisei bastante da tl depois dessa ask, mas não achei nada lá que valesse um "vamos parar pessoal".

Mas se a reclamação for sobre pessoas comentando ou conversando de jogos aleatórios aí é um pouco complicado da gente podar alguém, até porque assuntos aleatórios sobre gostos pessoais todo mundo tem, e é normal isso ser tópico na tl. Seria a mesma coisa que falar que tão conversando muito sobre música e que o assunto saturou pra uma pessoa só, sabe? Somos uma comunidade de slice of life, nada impede os personagens de focarem nos seus gostos pessoais e falarem sobre.

E vale a lembrança que na comunidade temos um pc café, então é mais comum ainda que jogos apareçam em conversas.

Sei que o twitter não é perfeito com isso, mas tenta mutar as palavras que você mais vê nesses tweets, se isso tá incomodando tanto, pode ajudar.

Thanks for answering my ask- I was the one who asked about Ben Agosto. So basically if he's "supporting the narrative" he's fudging stuff like whether Lilah actually deserves her scores in favor of spinning what the ISU's peddling. Isn't that kind of bullshit then? He's looking for ways to justify what they're doing, even if it's really thin - like Charlene's back flexiblity vs. Lilah's skating - and doesn't account for what's actually happening? Thanks for explaining that - I can smell the spin in what he's saying and now I see why - he's not good as say Mark Hanretty at walking the line

Hi anons,

The short answer is yes it is ironic and of all of the things I truly do love about ice dance (the really cool artistic inspiration, the creativity, imagining new ways to incorporate movement, etc.) the integrity and fairness of the sport has never been notable. All sports which involve a judged component (even in the forms of an umpire/ref/linesmen etc.) will have controversies about officials inserting themselves into the game and affecting results, but sports which are purely judged will have significantly more of it.

This is especially true for ice dance since there’s less obvious mistakes that someone who’s never seen the sport before (falls!, clear stumbles, losing grip on your partner) can pick out and understand that it’s playing a role in the score. It’s why twizzles went from being a very insignificant part of the sport to its more talked about element, because while something like ONLY pirouetting isn’t obvious, being slow, not covering ice, falling out of rotation, lack of sync, are very noticeable no matter your experience watching ice dance. Meanwhile, step sequences are a huge part of ice dance scoring but apart from obvious mistakes like stumbles and falls, it can be hard for a first time viewer to understand why they're scored the way they are.

So yes, commentators have to choose whether they're going to fully buy into the narrative (more of a Ted strategy, and also one taken more by commentators who don't have ice dance background but are former singles skaters) or whether they're going to go more with the half-picture but mostly true lines. Because--at least on English-speaking channels--unless its homer/"we were robbed!" comments, people generally tone down the "this result is bullshit and actually the team who placed first shouldn't have even podiumed" stuff. ESPECIALLY, when its at a relatively low stakes event like a GP vs. the Olympics or Worlds where that at least generates interest/potential viewership.

But generally, post-SLC, you see a large reluctance of commentators to really play into the controversy. My general hypothesis is that it is because 2 things: 1) an increased awareness that it will be weaponized to say that FS isn't "a rEaL sPorT" and 2) because of the number of old timers who attribute it to IJS/the system. Elaborating on 2), a lot of the immediate reaction after Adelina won in Sochi by FS commentators was that she won correctly within IJS, and that under 6.0 Yuna would've won. Kurt Browning in particular comes to mind. Which... Adelina did not win because of IJS. She had a level 4 step sequence despite tripping, virtually tied Yuna in PCS, beat Carolina Kostner in SS, and got away with quite a few UR calls. All of those things SHOULD have been punished if IJS had been correctly applied. There's a tendency for people who dislike IJS to blame the system itself. A lot of it in ice dance comes back to not just IJS but also "well if we still had the compulsory dance" but I'm going to be quite honest and say a lot of the time teams who were in fact NOT the strongest skaters won the CD. AND while I fully concur that too much of the score in ice dance is now choreographic elements and step sequences have been devalued, a team like F/G should still not be in the top 8 if they were scored correctly in the current system.

All of this to say. Yes, F/G's results this season are rather absurd, they are not reflective of the skating on the ice, they've been way too high in the context of their ability and the timing of the quad, some commentators have been significantly more effective at addressing the absurdity of the scoring, and that their rise isn't particularly unique because ice dance has always been particularly susceptible to narratives and egregious politicking. And particularly this year, there's some interesting dynamics about pushing European teams and Russia as the traditional ice dance power being absent. Which I don't think will benefit F/G in the future if a particular team comes back.

But, in the end while I do wish the scoring was more fair, it is a reality I have come to accept because I don't watch competitions to see who wins but to enjoy some truly creative and special programs.
